I always always use these guys. Except recently, I almost cheated on them with somebody else and I feel horrible about it. Ultimately, I came back to these guys to get the job done. I don't know what I was thinking even considering somebody else.
This was the first time I had worked with their guy named Justin. He is top notch, just like everybody else they have. In particular, Justin's emotional intelligence in terms of explaining the job was fantastic. You know, plumbing jobs can sometimes induce sticker shock, but he was able to keep me level headed. With that said, their estimate turned out to be in line, and even better, than the other estimates I received.
There's just simply nobody else I'm gonna call going forward whenever I need plumbing done. Being able to trust these guys just puts my wife at ease.

These guys are reasonably priced, and book within a reasonable time. Bryan replaced a kitchen faucet that a previous plumber frim a contractor installed and never worked properly. He trouble shooted, fixed it, and was polite. Sort of novel these days it seems. I also used this company to snake out the kitchen drain after the kitchen remodel when we saw the cut out pioe was almost totally occluded. Saved me years of grief i think. One of the contractors said they wouldnt gouge me on price and it's true. Havent noticed any lower quality in work.. just lower price.

The response states We first sent you an invoice for a deposit and you requested the contract before you would send the deposit. In my experience a contract stating the scope and nature of work to be performed is agreed to then the deposit is made. A list of parts at inflated prices is not a contract nor does it describe the scope of the work to be performed. Asking for a deposit before providing a contractual agreement seems like an unusual business practice. My original review is accurate but your response is not. I have since had the work completed by a competitor who provided a contractual agreement, accepted a deposit and did an exceptional job in that order and I could not be happier.

We are having an issue with our toilet fill valve and flapper. This is total of $20 in parts. They quoted $1,600 to fix the valve. They would replace the flapper for $833, this is a $5 part and 30 second replacement! I could get a new toilet for 90% less then this. We have a nice home and these guys were 100% trying to take advantage of the situation and that they were dealing with a women. Stay away from this company!
I have since called multiple plumber's and I can get a new toilet installed if I choose for about 90% less then these guys fix price. Stay away! Dishonest company who clearly have no problem with taking advantage whenever they can.

I loved working with this company from getting a quote right on through my install of my new air handler and heat pump. Everyone was fantastic. They were right on time both times they came out and they made sure I new everything i needed to know on how to use my system before they left. I would recommend then to my family and friends.

They provide very good and sound advice and great customer service. Went with tankless water heater and they did professional installation. Very flexible and amendable to changes of mind or schedules. They are there to make the customer happy.

I would recommend Cornel's Plumbing to my family and friends. They were super helpful and professional throughout the entire process. They even helped take care of an issue that our old contractor missed. Wonderful company to work with and we'll definitely use them again.

My heat quit working Friday night. I called Roths..I was told that there was a 89 diagnostic fee..anything that needed repair was additional at a flat rate.
Guys came out yesterday..told me the capacitor needed replacing and that it would be an additional 369.
I said that I couldn't afford that..I was offered 20 percent off.
I said no..after they left I unplugged the part and found it on Amazon for 8.25 (yes that's 8 dollars..)
I called around was able to buy one for 40..,put it on myself..took a couple of minutes.
I understand a biz needs to make a profit, but I feel this is taking advantage of unsuspeting people..;(

I attempted to replace an outdoor hose bib and when I loosened it, a longer pipe from within the wall came with it and showed that the threads had deteriorated. Concerned that there might be additional deterioration inside the wall, I called D&F and requested an after-hours call since I couldn't turn my water back on until this was resolved. I was quoted a flat fee of $199 for an after hours call that only covered the arrival of the plumber, their inspection and providing a quote to complete the work. I understood this and agreed to this charge.
The plumber, Joe, showed up within 15 minutes of the quoted time. He was pleasant and professional. He informed me that the hose bib was a frost free type and that the pipe that had come out was part of the unit. He inspected the hole where the pipe had come out and advised the connection in the wall appeared to be brass and had not deteriorated. He then keyed this information into his iPad and quoted me over $1800 to do the repair, confirming he had the needed parts on his truck.
I chocked on the price and asked for a breakdown of parts and labor. He advised that he didn't have that and that his computer only provided a total amount quote. He then said he would call the shop and see if he could get a discount. While he called, I searched the internet for a replacement frost-free hose bib and found the part at several nearby (and open) hardware stores for under $40.
When Joe got off the phone, he happily informed me that he was able to get a 50% discount and it would only cost a bit over $900 to do the repair. I showed him the valve on my phone and asked why his bid was so much higher. He advised that his came with a one-year warranty and professional installation. Since he verified the part needed and confirmed the connector in the wall was in good shape, I declined the service and picked up the new part and plumbing sealant at Home Depot. Five minutes later, I had fixed the issue and had my water back on.
I understand that plumbing companies now quote fixed fee work and that if this had been much more complicated, but it would seem to me that there needs to be a factoring based on presumed complications. Especially after having already paid $199 to get him on site for just a few minutes, the discounted cost of $900 seems like highway robbery.
