Best Plumbing Inspection in Plano TX

It's been about 6 months, so this review is long overdue. We purchased a new home and were very concerned about the water quality. I reached out to several different companies regarding water filtration systems. Not only did I want a filtration system that worked, I also wanted to make sure that the work was being done by a plumber. From the very first call to ask questions, I was put at ease about the very large purchase we would be making. Once Kevin came out to look at our home, I knew that this was the best company for me. Kevin is very knowledgeable in his field, and I knew that my home was in good hands. We will definitely use Ardent for our plumbing needs in the future.

ZERO star. The tech came out to check the issue with one of my sinks. He told me what the issue was and he recommended that I repair it myself. The repair did not fix the issue. I called back but they refused to come back to check the same issue. Horrible and unreliable company. I won't use them again. I don't recommend Lex's Plumbing to anyone.

Easily 5 stars.  I would have given them more if I could.  Had a water pipe in the slab rear its ugly head the Wednesday of the blizzard.  Unfortunately I couldn't get an appointment for 2 weeks (not Legacy's fault) and other slab leak companies were even longer.  Wayne and Gerald got here first thing this morning, and spent an hour understanding the plumbing for my entire house.  After performing some tests and confirming some theories, they were able to locate the leak in about a 12' section of pipe.  Now, the fun began.

Wayne and Gerald suggested several different options:  Tunneling under the slab, re-routing through the ceiling, or installing a smaller pipe within the existing pipe.  We chose to install a smaller pipe within the existing pipe, and they got to work and knocked it out.  At the end, our water supply is as good as before, we have no leak, and we only had to have Legacy cut 2 access holes in our drywall.  We were expecting concrete dust and piles of dirt, and because of the thorough analysis and diagnosis of the problem, Wayne and Gerald got us running in under 6 hours.  I can't say enough how professional, concerned and focused the team was, and we are thankful for the great work that they did.  They also identified some other issues affecting water pressure and our hot water heaters, and we're having another Legacy Plumbing team come out and resolve those problems in a couple of weeks.  THANKS!

They are a family business and Casey is fantastic! We had a gas fireplace starter pipe that needed replacing and he and his assistant came out and in one hour, removed the old pipe which was really on there, and installed new gas starter pipe for a reasonable price. We've used them before and they always exceed our expectations! Highly recommend!

I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. Very responsive and polite. We texted and there was a misunderstanding. They bought a hot water tank and went to my house for an installation while I thought just a diagnostics and estimate. They politely told it was fine. So, I just feel I can trust them. I proposed a small job right after that and they agreed although they might have had a lot of other big works to do. Deserve to get a good review.

I'm in a place in life where every penny counts.  Brian is the owner of this company, he did efficient, high quality work.  I am actually embarrassed over the fact that I forgot that I had asked Brian to install a new shut off valve, which he did,  but I forgot to calculate the cost of the valve and installation.   Brian is an honest, sincere, hard working contractor and I apologize for being suspicious.   I will be calling Brian back as I need further work.

Carlos is a phenomenal plumber and more so an honest person. I thought I needed major work done at my house due to what another plumber had said. He came in and was completely honest and told me that whatever was going on wasn't a problem. Thank you for your help and honesty!

We had a broken pipe in our foundation and they did an excellent job of re-routing to get it repaired fast.

Our hot water heater died last night and we called Pure Plumbing since they are one of the few places open after hours. Jacob picked up right away and was at our house within a couple hours. He was friendly, helpful, not sales-y, not rushed, and explained everything to us well. He was even available to replace our water heater the same night (late!) but we had him come this morning. He was reliable and did a great job. We will definitely be recommending this company to our friends!

I had called my Home Warranty company and they sent a plumber who diagnosed a leak in my sheet rock to a leaking shower pan. I called C&W change the shower pan. They did a thorough test and determined the problem was not a bad shower pan liner but because of cracks in my shower enclosure and grout issues in my tile that was causing water to seep through. They spent 2 hours patiently diagnosing the exact problem and saved me hundreds of dollars. A job well done by Sam, the plumber.

We hired this company to find a leak at our home. They came out, said the leak was in the yard but didn't try to find out where. They said they'd charge $4500 to run a new water line but didn't attempt to find out where the leak was in the yard. We were paying them to find the leak and still had NO answer as to where it was. They charged $675 for this!!!!

I have First American Home Warranty... I called for a service call for my garbage disposal that's not working & they sent out Scout Plumbing for a service fee to me of $85.00. When Scout got there - there was a tiny pebble half the size of my little fingernail or less. The technician worked about 10 minutes to pull it out. He said First American Warranty doesn't cover something getting down into the unit and they charged me $173. so I ended up paying $258 for a tiny pebble to be removed in about 10 minutes. THIS IS GOUGING especially since I received an invoice for $312. I called and they said $139 was billed to First American so Scout spent 10 mins, pulling out a tiny, tiny pebble & charged First American $139.00 but that wasn't enough for them to pull a pebble out, no, they said it was a repair even though they didn't repair one single thing but instead pulled out that tiny pebble that stopped the blades from turning. I couldn't even see the pebble with a flashlight to know it was there. Do not call the unless you want to get gouged for their service. Why wasn't $139.00 enough money for 10 minutes to take a small piece of ANYTHING from between the blade? Why was that $312 with $173.00 STOLEN FROM ME when my company was paying them $139.00 for the call? GOUGING - STEALING PURE AND SIMPLE.

.Greedy company, greedy company ,greedy company. After i wrote on YELP the  review ,manager called me to justify what they charged me and  told me excuses about the charges .As i understood, the company policy is :the money first ,the clients :milch cows.
