Best Septic System Repair in Pittsburgh PA
We had what we hoped was a minor leak. Thanks to Express Plumbing's knowledge and expertise they discovered a crack in the pipe which extended up the inside wall and curved into the ceiling. It was not easy to detect the extent and we feel fortunate it was their years of experience and knowledge that found the extent of the problem. They were prompt in arriving onsite. Upon arrival they wore footwear covering over their rather clean shoes I might add, although it was a dry day and I said you don't have to, they said, no, it's our protocol. We totally trust them and would highly recommend them to you. Price point was very reasonable for the several hour job from start to finish. Friendly. Professional. Knowledgeable. Trustworthy - and they explained what they are doing every step. It was not an easy job too numerous reasons to explain. Number one in our books and we will recommend to all in our community. Thank you so much!

We've had McVay out to our house for a couple jobs, including installing a hot water expansion tank and most recently fixing a leaky shower drain. Both times they have done the work efficiently and well. The shower drain in particular was a bigger job, requiring them to drill into a concrete wall, and they got it done in good time and cleaned up after they were finished. We've been satisfied with how things are working after the jobs were done.
McVay has excellent customer service. They have a few dedicated people answering the phones and they tend to respond to calls promptly. Everyone is friendly and they've been able to get us on the schedule within a week or so for each job. I don't know much about plumbing but their prices seemed in line with what we thought the jobs would cost. Their estimates were accurate (but not free; they now charge $149 for an in-home estimate, but that is applied toward your job if you hire them).

They did an okay job uncloging a simple drain. However I also had them give me an estimate on capping and removing a line. They quoted close to $300 after looking at it. I later found out that the line was already capped and the spigot was not attached to anything.
