I had Bob come out and give me a quote on remodeling my kitchen for a house I bought for my soon to be wife and I. The remodel included removing a load bearing wall, installing a 22 foot beam, new canned lights, moving the door from
the kitchen into the garage to a new location, new cabinets, new counter tops, new tile backsplash, etc. Bob came back with a very competitive quote but what made me select him was his communication and all of his positive reviews.
Throughout the project Bob was the complete opposite of what I was told I would experience with a contractor. His team was prompt, respectful, and cleaned up at the end of every day. Bob was always in communication about status of the project, timelines, and any issues they ran into. Whenever they ran into an issue (this is going to happen so don't be surprised when it does, it's the name of the game when doing these projects with any contractor) Bob gave me all the details, my options and what it would cost to address the issue.
Bob was always fair when it came to pricing adjustments (I have been told other contractors use issues as an opportunity to make extra money because you are already committed to the project) and I never felt like he was trying to pull a fast one on me or take advance of me.
The kitchen turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier with the result! Even to this day, Bob has stayed in contact. He has made sure that everything is good on the house and we don't need anything.
