Best Water Heater Repair in Oakland CA

I woke up one rainy morning to a totally backed-up sewer line and called Atlas at about 8am.  They were out within the hour!  They snaked the line, cleaned up the mess and were out in less than 1/2 hour.  These guys are very professional and friendly and definitely know what they are doing!

For the second time in less than a week, Abraham from Major General Plumbing came to the rescue within 24hrs! First time I needed a new water valve installed for our refrigerator before drywall work was done. Today I needed four angle stops replaced asap as we are doing complete demolition of the kitchen, but the original angle stops couldn't turn off. Same day for a very reasonable rate, he knocked it out of the park. Thank you again Abraham!!

This 24/7 service is so convenient! As soon as I sent them an email on their website, I got a phone call literally 5 minutes later. The lady on the phone was very helpful and scheduled for one of their workers to come during the time frame I had given. We were assigned Rich and he was awesome!  He came during the earlier part of the time frame (called a few minutes beforehand to give me a heads up) and figured out what we needed in under 5 minutes. Afterwards, my brother and I went to the store to grab the needed part. As soon as we got it, I called VanGo and they redirected me back to Rich. He gave me a call a few minutes later and gladly came back to install our new kitchen faucet. Total instal took about 45 minutes, not bad at all! This company takes the inconvenience out of these household problems and really works towards helping you out in such a timely matter!

We had problem with our drainage in the bathroom which caused a leak in our closet downstairs. He came to check it out and advised what needed to be done. He was able to fix it and replace any outdated parts. Thanks Ben.

Ramnar is a great person with which to work.  He is responsive, friendly, and gets the job done.  We have a new house along the coast and needed to finish it off and the radiant system/house domestic boiler was the last thing.  Our general contractor was inefficient and their plumbing sub had passed away.  We contacted Ramnar and he immediately checked things out and made recommendations.  It was obvious that he specializes in radiant and water heaters.   We literally gave him the key to the property and he got things done, with no problems.  He also made recommendations for the latest thermostats and configured them for us.

When our other plumbers could not find the time to install a gas line for a PG&E meter drop, Ramnar was courteous enough to match their price and get the work done (which included a gas run to a deck fire pit).

Ramnar is trustworthy, smart and a friendly person who gets things done.  He's never too busy to talk on the phone, email or text.  In a world of flaky contractors, Ramnar is very dependable and genuinely a super nice person.  He deserves the highest ratings and all these fine examples on Yelp are honest.  If you are considering building a house or installing radiant, use a specialist like Ramnar (he's been all over the world installing and is settled in Northern California).  Many plumbers do not specialize like he does.  If you are a general contractor, he would be my go to guy for anything radiant and/or domestic boilers.  He's the only call to make for our next house, remodel or upgrade (we plan on using him again!)

Handyman Heroes and their team always deliver great service in a timely manner. Whether I have a leak in the roof, a faucet installation, or need someone to say please don't touch that live wire until we arrive, HH is there for me! Recently, Stephen found the source of an electrical issue that kept shorting out my breaker and was able to fix it quickly and efficiently! It was awesome!

They were amazing! We called them in the morning and they came to inspect and our heater system was fixed by 3 pm, the same day! Their communication was fantastic, especially when they were dealing with many different people as I wasn't there. Especially at a time when other companies didn't have availabilities for over a month - they were amazingly responsive! Highly recommended!

Our garbage disposal went out on a Saturday night so when a friend recommended Rey on Monday morning, I called him.  He asked me to text him our address, which I did and he dropped by that afternoon.  After checking things out, he said they would come back to replace the disposal the next morning.  His tech team arrived at 8:30 with the replacement disposal, took everything apart, cleaned out the crud and installed the new one, were done within about 40 minutes, leaving our sink and the area clean as a whistle.  Today's bill was icing on the cake - very reasonable.  A job well done - I would recommend them any time!

Quick and easy to schedule - they answered the phone - I actually had to reschedule and they were very understanding. Roberto was our technician and they were prompt, professional and informational. Roberto answered all of my questions, talked me through my options and repeated a few things for me a few times until I was clear about the situation, which helped me make an informed decision.

It took about a week to schedule (even with the rescheduling), and I can't speak to the price because I didn't find out the market rate. But it seemed fair to me, because I was also paying for the privilege of not having to do the research, so the price was totally worth it/fair to me.

100% would use Jazz again/recommend because it was painless (and Roberto.)

I had given him one star because he never showed up, but he finally sent a text telling me that he had been sick. I found someone else to do the job, so I never worked with him. I'll upgrade my review to three stars for getting back to me.

Never have I been so impressed! After 4 plumbing companies told us that our problem could only be solved by removing the bathtub and replacing it with a shower (a remodel), Ignacio Islas from Plumbing Guys came in to provide an estimate for the remodel. He looked at the drain, then looked at me and asked me if he could try one more thing. He did and fixed the clog that 4 other companies told me wasn't fixable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and celebrate Ignacio's creativity and willingness to do the right thing!

Daniel came in this morning on short notice and solved a problem we had yesterday . He is very knowledgeable and quick with his service. A 'family friend took 8 hours yesterday to make our situation worse. Daniel came in today and solved it in under an hour. This company is a gem. Thank you so much!!! Great job Daniel!

I have recommended this Plumbing Company to so many of my friends and they always comment back to me on how GREAT these plumbers are. They give you more then what you pay for. If the problem they went out to fix didn't completely get fixed the first time they will go out and try to fix it again on warranty. Recently my toilet was over flowing and i didn't know how to stop the water from spilling all over the floor. So I called LuntMarymor in a spastic tone of voice asking to send someone out immediately. The lady on the phone was more then a miracle worker, she told me to turn the knob in the back of my toilet all the way to the left to stop the water from running in the toilet. When i did that, the water instantly stopped pouring out and i was able to get my self together, and stop the water from spilling all over my carpet floors. The lady on the phone scheduled for someone to fix my toilet with in 2 hours. The Plumber (or what they call Journey man) came out and was done fixing the toilet in less then an hour. I was more then satisfied with the results of having my toilet repaired.

I would and will recommend this company (LuntMarymor) to all those who have major and/or simple plumbing needs.

What a Rip Off. I've had a terrible experience with the plumber my fireplace retailer recommended. They gave me an estimate of $2,000 to do the gas line installation. I understand that the word estimate means just an approximate maximum that the job would cost. They use the word estimate to mean a contracted price. The job took less than 3 hours, and they charged me the full $2,000. This adds up to nearly $700 per hour. I complained, but they refused to do anything. I would avoid using this business or any business that uses this tactic to overcharge the customer.
