I have used A.T. Weber for several years and have always found them highly professional and very accommodating.  My latest issue was a thermostat on a relatively new water heater that needed replacing.  They sent someone out to diagnose the problem, order the part and installed in within 2 days.  Chris, the person who answers the phones, was courteous and prompt in returning calls and keeping me posted on the part needed. This is a great company to work with .... and it is here in Alameda!

You know the kind of people you trust from the moment you see them?  That's these guys.  Used them when my furnace started intermittently blowing cold air.  They checked out the heater, really tried to troubleshoot the issue, explained why they thought the furnace wasn't really the problem, and made a quick fix on the thermostat that did the trick.  Handled everything in a very honest, straightforward manner, and didn't try to push anything on me.  Couldn't ask for more.

JD came through and fix my guest room sink for me! I had called someone else to come and do it and they couldn't find anything. I found JD Plumbing on here and his response time was quick and so was his work ! Thank you so much for figuring out the problem !

After reading a couple of the Yelp reviews and seeing the photo of the friendly-faced plumber, I messaged Francesco with a couple questions about his availability and rates and he was very helpful and responsive.  After three back and forth messages through Yelp, I didn't end up hiring him.  The next morning he sent me a message chastising me for being rude because I didn't confirm with him that I wasn't going to hire him.  As I always do when seeking this type of service, I contacted several plumbers via the Yelp messaging service and I ended up hiring a  different plumber whose availability worked better for me.  I don't agree that I need to confirm my hiring decision with each of the plumbers that I didn't hire.  No appointment was set, no agreement existed.  This behavior is similar in my opinion to road rage, Francesco is out to correct our manners one non-customer at a time.  Again, he seems like a really nice guy based on his reviews and the preliminary messaging so I'm adding a star.  I'm also a stickler for proper manners, so I did apologize to Francesco for offending him.  I'm sure you'll be happy if you hire him, just but be sure to mind your manners.

I've given my review below. I was pleasantly surprised to get outreach from customer service to make it right and I planned to follow up and possibly change my review.

But after seeing Don's response to my review, not only completely opposite the apologetic tone of the voicemail I received but also flat out LYING about the unskilled plumber they sent who did mishandle the repair, there is no way I would change my review. Small business or not, you screwed up and you should have just owned it. This company can lose my number and I'll lose theirs.

I didn't even use Mike's services and I can still say he is the best! I left a message about a gas fireplace we are having continued problems with. He called me back within an hour, and said he might not be able to work on the problem.. but he was able to give me some more information about what might be happening with it, and spent some time giving me a referral to someone who can probably fix it. It's been a continuing problem, and it was great that someone finally took the time to try to help and explain what was going on. He knew he wasn't going to make any money helping me over the phone - he was just being a genuine person with an expertise to share. When your reputation preceeds you, it's important to maintain it. When I need HVAC repair I'm calling Mike.

My wife and I just moved into a new place and wanted our heating vents cleaned before moving in (I highly recommend this).  Ron the owner and his grandson was a great team and did an awesome job!  I watched their work first hand.  Ron also provided advice and consultation on what to look for with our heating and plumbing at no extra charge.  I ended up hiring them again to install a new garage deposal (we didn't have one before, so it required some extra work), and they went above and beyond to get it installed that day (including getting a new switch for us, when mine wasn't working).  Fast, Reliable, Honest, and Quality Service at a Great Value!  I highly recommend them for your heating and plumbing needs!

They were working on my neighbors' house. Not sure if they get the job done but very rude attitude. They were walking up and down my driveway without asking; talking loudly and provocatively. Certainly would not recommend them to any neighbors!

Richard was with me on presages and walkthrough and helped me find the solution I needed at the right price point. Bennie followed through on the install, Bennie is the Michelangelo of electricity. He deployed the solution better than anticipated. He's not only smart but a pleasure to interact with.

I called ABC when I discovered my A/C was not working and they were able to come out the very next day. The customer service on the phone was exceptional, and Craig's service matched it the next day. He was very knowledgeable and helpful (since I know little to nothing about these sorts of things), and was able to get my house cooled down as well as talk about potential issues down the line. I will call ABC again in a heartbeat should I have any additional problems and would recommend them to my friends and family.

We have been using LJ Kruse for our plumbing and heating repairs for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. We replaced our faucets with the Chicago brand in 1990. Although they are great, they do need maintenance now and again which is where LJ Kruse comes in. They know exactly what they're doing and even have Chicago faucet replacement parts in stock. Last week a fantastic plumber named Ramon came over and replaced the leaking stem. Ramon was knowledgeable and efficient and everything works great. Thank you LJ Kruse.

We had another plumber come to fix a blocked drain in a tub that was in an apartment complex that we own and the guy claimed to have fixed it for the time being but said to ensure that it doesn't happen again he needed to do more work for an additional $700.00!! We told him we would think about it and get back to him (an hour later the tenant called and said it was blocked again). In the meantime we called jeff, who went there the very next morning, fixed the block and the tub has been draining perfectly ever since, no additional work needed!!             Thanks Jeff!!!

Amazing group.  This is a high-end, very experienced plumbing company.  We had them come out and fix a major sewage/plumbing problem and while the work was expensive, it was done quickly and effectively and I totally trusted their work.  They provided us lots of information, and kept the job clean.  Hiring an inexpensive plumber is often the most expensive thing you can do - so I would highly recommend this team.

Not recommended. The worst experience ever! Price gougers! Not happy with the lack of knowledge of water fill line of the toilet.  Do yourself a favor and find a true local business that charges a fair  price.

The technician was not aware that the the water level in your toilet tank should sit one to two inches below the toilet's fill valve and/or overflow tube. That is a cause of slow flush.

$358.68 to change a fill valve and flapper. $270 to hand snake a small vanity sink. It is really disappointing they would choose to take advantage of homeowners with their unjustifiable prices.

I paid $95 for them to come out. Now, I have to adjust the fill valve and clear out the sink pipes myself.

I had a mystery leak coming from the upstairs shower. Manny was able to identify the source and fix it. If it was an easy fix I would go with another company but since this job took skills and someone with intelligence I went with Big Blue. The pricing is not on the cheap side but you get what you pay for. They are worth the peace of mind.  I know it was done right and they stand by their work.

Called at 10 pm with a water leak waited 90 minutes no driver yet ?
so i call dispatch and they say we cant get a hold of the driver ? so when were you going to call me and let me know ?

I never got Olsson plumbing to show up just Flake out big time.
