This is how a service business should operate!  I've relied on Kenneth and his team three times for various problems.  Kenneth communicates promptly and clearly, shows up when I need him and gives me confidence the job has been well done.  I'm getting ready to hire him for another project, and he'll have my business for life with performance like I've seen from him.

After a bad experience with a different plumber we called URV and they sent Ury who was on time, took care to treat our bathroom carefully, and fixed our clogged-out toilet. We were very happy with the service and would definitely use them again.

Atlas was professional over the phone, and showed up on time for the consultation about installing a tankless water heater.

However, the plumber who came out kept telling me about additional work that was required by City code. I checked with the City Plumbing Inspection Department, and learned that none of the things he said was required by code was actually required by code, and the one shortcut he proposed taking was not allowed by code.

Perhaps Atlas is fine on a typical maintenance kind of job, but their knowledge of City regulations related to tankless water heaters did not inspire confidence, and made me wary about their business practices.

Gil was reliable and helper fixed the leak at home. He was cost effective and highly reliable.

Called because wall heater would not turn on at a apartment I manage, pilot light was fine but would not respond to thermostat.  Joey called me back within 30 minutes, told him I tested the thermostat by connecting the wires and got no response from the heater.  Gave Joey the age and make of the wall heater, described the problem and what I've done so far, he walks me through where to find the reset button which is hidden near the top of the heater because he is pretty sure it got tripped on a windy or stormy day as a safety precaution and to call him if this doesn't work.  Saved me the service fee even though it could have been a very easy payday for him.  Other jobs performed in the past were timely and fair.

I came home today with a house full of kids. One of them used to much toilet paper before flushing. Whoops.... over-flow! Plunger worked once & then from then on.... the toilet wouldn't flush.
I called Elite Plumbing and Awais came right over.  He fixed the toilet and was on his way. Excellent service, very nice and extremely fair pricing. I recommend Elite Plumbing

We found Savior Plumbing through Angie's List many years ago and have called them to service our tankless hot water heater and clear our sewer line. Their technicians have been excellent every time.

This past week, their technician Colin came to clear a blockage. Not a pleasant job, but he was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He fixed the problem and also checked our sewer line relative to other properties. He was very thorough, and also cleared the gunk in a bathroom sink.

Making the appointment didn't take long, and they were able to reschedule for earlier in the week when the problem recurred unexpectedly. They initially gave a 2-hour time frame when a technician would come, then I received a call and text from Colin with an updated time of arrival. I also appreciated an email receipt.

Technicians as well as the administrative staff have been very professional.

Ray was my go-to plumber for a few years. He was generally available, his prices were reasonable, and he did good work. But then he started to grow and his prices went up. It seemed like his employees were just less adept at getting the job done quickly. Eventually, I experienced a serious sewer problem on a large building, and his bid was way out of line with the other bidders on a job of several thousand dollars. I'm not saying don't use Ray, but be sure to get other bids before you do!

Called these guys for a new disposal and some toilet maintenance this morning. They were at   my house in 90 minutes, and everything was fixed in an hour. 5 stars for lickity split service!

I'm very thankful to have found Paul! Our last handyman ghosted me, with several projects left unfinished. Paul needed to reschedule, but was very communicative about it. He was right on time, clearly communicated the cost of the projects that I asked him to complete prior to starting the work, and kept the house very clean while he moved through the rooms that needed work.

I'm happy with the work that was done! He replaced the weatherproofing on four exterior doors, repaired a bathroom ceiling fan, repaired a cabinet door that wouldn't close, and installed a platform for our washer and dryer. I will absolutely reach out to Paul again if we have any other projects that need completing.

Daniel to the rescue! Not only was communication prompt & easy but it was clear.   He showed up on time and did a great job evaluating the problem.  Took his time double checking every drain too! I would def call up on them again.

I have used Jorge's plumbing several times, from installing sewage sump pumps, rain water sump pumps, installing backstops and correcting past plumbers' shoddy workmanship in general. He's friendly, reliable and always gets the job done right. I highly recommend his services.

It was time to replace my 33 yr. old water heater (!!!), so I went to the A.T. Weber website, send an email and received a phone call back within a couple of hours.  Next day, after 3 hours, I had a brand new water heater. No drama, no mess, no problem.  Eliseo was professional, thorough, and explained how to turn off the water and adjust the heat setting.

We are so glad to find Star Rooter & Plumbing.  We have called several plumbers and one of them came because they quoted us we thought was a reasonable price. $180 over the phone,  but when the Drain Doctors came, the price went up to $295.  We called Star Rooter and got a quote for $85. My husband asked the person on the phone twice to make sure he heard the price correctly. We made the appointment and Guillermo showed up on tme. He came and did the job in 30 minutes, very professional, knowledgeable and polite.  We will definitely call him to do all our plumbing projects from now on.  Job well done for way less than all the plumbers we have in the past.

Oakland Rooter saved the day! We experienced a clogged drain in the middle of the night which effectively shut down all the sinks, showers and toilets. I reached out and heard back before 7 am, and Will from Oakland Rooter was here before 9 am. He thoughtfully evaluated the problem, calling another colleague who arrived promptly and the cleared the sewer clog from the roof vent. Very grateful for their service and help at a desperate moment.

Lunt Marymor has been my plumber for years. Prompt, professional, skilled, they are especially good with odd European fixtures. They can find replacement parts for almost anything and don't push for total replacement like some companies. They protect the floors with mats they bring themselves, bring their own safe light source so they can really see what the problem is, and clean up the work area very nicely when they're done. They've been able to handle any plumbing problem I've had.  I don't find their prices higher than other plumbers I've used, although I usually see their trucks in upscale neighborhoods.

As far as their not quoting the price of a water heater over the phone (as one reviewer complained about) you tell me how someone would do that?  There are all sorts of unknowns that require an inspection.  Berkeley especially is filled with water heaters that are hooked up against code and would be a plumber's nightmare to replace.    Look up the price of a water heater on the internet and do some research to get an idea what it would cost before you call.

Just finished up my shower/tub remodel project with Albert Nahman Plumbing. The final results are excellent: great work, fully functional, every aspect completed exactly as stated.

Gabriel did a very good job with all aspects of the project: explaining work and costs involved, providing detailed explanations for various aspects and challenges as the project unfolded, coordinating all the various workers involved, answering all my questions as they came up in a very timely manner, and putting in the extra effort to get things done in general - often during odd hours which most others would consider off the clock, whenever needed. All this done always with enthusiasm, which really helped me cope with the unexpected (such as finding out I had to part with my beloved - but as fate would have it rusted out - 70's style avocado green bathtub).  

One aspect of the work done and the company doing it which really stood out was the consistent good character of all the workers involved in the project - even though there were many of them. These included Fernando, Chris, Chuy and his helper who's name I didn't get, as well as of course Gabriel - all of whom consistently showed friendliness, courtesy, professionalism, patience, trustworthiness... of course along with consistently good work.

An example I especially appreciated: I have two sets of entry doors and a dog in the house. Over the many days and much traffic back and forth this project entailed, each and every one of them always closed the inner door before opening the outer door - making sure that my dog wouldn't get out on the street. They did this consistently without my even having to ask them to. I think they each had the attitude that, being personally responsible individuals, this is what they would do at their own house, so of course they would do the same at the house of their client.

Another example: there were several times when one of them would give me a call before leaving my house - whether for a short time or at the end of their work day - so that I could come home from work to lock up the house so that it wasn't unattended.  And each time they waited for me to get back home before they left! This is the kind of thing you really want from a work crew, each of them represented the company very well and helped build trust all around.  

They aren't cheap, but this outfit has shown that with them you really do get what you paid for - and that they are well worth it. This pattern of exemplary conduct continued even after I had already paid for the project in full: there was a slight detail after the project was completed which needed a touch-up to bring everything to perfection, and there was no problem - the guys were sent out again to do what was needed, they were as friendly and respectful as always - and that took care of things. It is clear they stand behind their work, and will come out again as needed if there were to be any more problems related to the project.

This is the second major project I've had the Nahman folks work on - the previous one also went well, so I can give them my full endorsement based on repeated experience. Great company, great work, great people!

I have been purchasing supplies at Valley Plumbing for many years; I would guess at least ten if not fifteen.  I am always concerned as to whether a business might blame any problems on the installer, which, in my case, is me since I do my own work.  I have purchased kitchen faucets, outdoor hose bibs, hoses, indoor supply faucets, toilet valves, and a few things I can't remember.  I have needed to return two kitchen faucet components, and a valve that did not have the correct threads. They have replaced them with no questions.  If they remember my purchase, they don't even ask for a receipt.  I have even called them during an installation to ask questions, and Stark has been more than helpful.  I will be having a valve installed soon, and I expect that to go very well.
