We had a main sewer backup and called  J J Rooter based on these reviews. We were very happy with our choice. They squeezed us into their long day, arriving at 10:30pm and quickly and efficiently snaked the sewer line from the street and got rid of the clog. They followed up a couple of days later with a camera inspection of the pipes and found that some of the cast iron piping was corroded and had some joint issues that caused the clog to slowly build up. The guys are friendly and professional.  Would absolutely recommend.

I found Leo while his van was parked in front of my house. I had been calling every plumber in town, and nobody had the time to come by or bother to return my call.
He was working two doors down from me. I called and he called me back within 5 minutes. Leo rescued us from water backing up in the garage a couple of times, and lastly he replaced the pipes going from the garage to the street, just days before Thanksgiving. He was amazing and reliable. I got back from our TG trip and everything was fixed so beautifully, That i didn't even notice the sidewalk had been torn apart.
Leo is the only one I call when  I need to get any work done.

Call Bonafide Plumbing first...if you want the best. I had plumbing trouble on a Sunday. Called Bonafide Plumbing. 45 minutes later Ed arrives. Doesn't just fix my kitchen sink problem. He made it BETTER (replacing a single valve with a more useful double) ...AND while he was here, fixed my running toilet!! That was a bonus, a two-fer.  Nice guy, quick response, very fair pricing, excellent work, neat and clean job and solid advice. I wanted something else done that would have cost me more money. He suggested a less expensive way to do it. Love that kind of honesty. Plus I'm happy to now have a trusted someone to call when I have plumbing woes. i give a big recommendation with five stars to Ed & his company Bonafide Plumbing in Alameda. He responds to folks in other cities too!

Jose was fantastic to work with. He responded in a timely manner, and came out to give me an estimate the next day. His crew was professional, friendly, and polite. They did great work at a reasonable price. They showed me pictures and video of the work they completed in the crawl space under part of the house. I recommend them and am thinking of using them for another project we have.

Why did I ever go anywhere else? Thank goodness I checked my phone for former handy people and found this company again. Roberto did a number of things around the house, from simple repairs to the more complicated. He was very professional, friendly and kind, and finished everything quicker than I'd imagined. This company saved me money by repairing a leaky faucet during the initial walk (of items on my to-do list) through AT NO CHARGE...and did it in about 1 minute! In the past I had 3 plumbers who told me faucet was too fancy and not worth repairing the leak, even if they could do it. Ha!

I hired Mr. Unger's Kitchen and Bathroom to do a full remodel of my master bathroom based on great Yelp reviews, and I must say that they delivered!  I'm so glad I made the decision to go with them.  First of all, the cost was fair and reasonable for the amount of work.  I like how the contract specified the work to be done, payment schedule, and estimated completion date.  Karen, the main guy who did most of the work was simply amazing.  He usually worked alone on most days except when there were some heavy lifting that needed to be done.  He was organized, methodical, a complete professional.  One can tell that he's been doing this for so many years.  He is such an expert.  He gave me advise on the tiles to purchase as well as other materials which I appreciated so much.  He showed up on time each day, and cleaned up the place at the end of the day.  Since this was my first time doing a bathroom remodeling, it can be pretty overwhelming.  But I did not feel overwhelmed even when there were some leaking discovered behind the wall early on.  The cost to repair was very reasonable and it was completed in about five hours..  Working from home during the bathroom remodeling gave me the opportunity to get a sense of the amount of work, the details, building code, number of inspections, etc.  There is so much!  I'm so glad I did the right thing by going through a professional contractor who's an expert on building codes and secures the necessary city permits.  I'm highly satisfied of the work that Karen did.  I'm definitely going to request Mr. Unger to assign Karen for my next bathroom remodeling.  Karen is a pretty busy guy so I may have to schedule about six months in advance to ensure that he gets assigned to my project.  I highly recommend Mr. Unger's Kitchen and Bathroom!  I'm one very happy customer!
