This may read more like an ad than a review but trust me, I'm a very, very happy and impressed customer!
Harry (and his whole outfit) is THE BOMB -- if you're having nightmares about finding a trustworthy contractor, much less a GREAT contractor who has a top-notch team and will take his work PERSONALLY and SERIOUSLY, worry no more.
My wife and I engaged Harry to do a gut renovation of our kitchen and bathroom -- major project/dream project so we really hoped to find the right contractor -- BOY we lucked out with Harry! Here's an incomplete but itemized list of ways he delivered:
ALWAYS on time -- the first day our buzzer literally rang at 9am on the dot and it was Harry with a full crew!
The main gut was done in 2/3 days -- over the Christmas holidays they only took maybe two days off, including Christmas Day, then they were right back at it -- A+ for efficiency across the board.
He's got great guys working for him and specifically their care for the areas of our apartment they weren't working on was very noticeable.
Communicating with Harry was GREAT! He texts super promptly and if he doesn't answer the phone (he usually DOES answer the phone!) he calls absolutely ASAP.
He was super communicative about letting us know when we needed to be set with choices on our end, whether bathroom fixtures, floor stain, electrical decisions, etc.
Attention to detail was phenomenal!
Also a huge factor: in addition to his immediate crew Harry has relationships with a great plumber, a great electrician, a great master wood worker, plus connections with local tile and tile fabrication sources -- I'm telling you, it's a complete and efficient team!
And the clean-up at the end was way more thorough than what we expected.
Do yourself a favor -- I know it can be confusing and you may be hearing different things from different people about what needs to happen in your space, etc., etc. Just hire Harry -- you won't regret it!

Dima has done two projects at my house and I've been very happy with his work. I highly recommend working with him.

Project 1 was the installation of a new skylight and exhaust fan.  Project 2 was repainting and re-insulating a damaged door, installing a security storm door, and insulating the entry way.  In both cases, Dima provided great advice and did great work.  I've very satisfied with the quality of the projects.

It's also been very easy working with Dima -- he is professional, on-time, and is clear about costs and timing.  Payment is also easy and convenient.  Definitely 5 stars.

I recently purchased a home in Jersey City and ran in to unanticipated problems that required gutting the basement. Hudson Home Improvement owner Joe S. visited early on a Saturday morning to assess the basement level and discuss the rebuild. He spent about an hour talking with me and immediately struck me as someone who is deeply knowledgeable about contracting and home building. He was candid and thorough in the assessment, and followed up with an estimate quickly. While we opted to go another route I am confident Hudson HI would have provided high-quality work, as the business's Better Business Bureau rating and reviews I'd read elsewhere are all complimentary. Joe strikes me as someone who goes well beyond the requirements and does right by his clients.

I moved into a new development in January and there were many customizations that were left for owners to make, as well as a number of corrections that needed to be addressed due to poor construction/planning. After months of going back and forth with the developer and getting quotes from all of the wrong contractors, my company concierge connected me with Nick. Nick and his team were the remedy to all of my headaches with my new home. He came in immediately to assess the work and provide a detailed quote, and was very transparent and professional throughout the entire process from start to finish. In less than a day, they put up the LED mirror that had been sitting in a box in my hallway since the summertime after three different contractors had failed to provide a viable plan that did not involve tearing down a large portion of my wall or risking damaging any pipes. They also put in an additional access panel in my ceiling that was needed for HVAC maintenance, re-pitched the drain pipe (since it was not done correctly when the condo was first built), and even changed my air filters!! I am so grateful for Stitch Coterie and am already planning to hit up Nick for more projects in my home!!! Thank you guys!!

It was a pleasure speaking with Hector. He was knowledgeable, gave tips and even gave a great quote. We needed some things done in my unit, and after getting the proposal he just disappeared. No response with emails, calls, texts... nothing! Still have no idea what happened  I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
