Best Pipe Repair in Minneapolis MN
Great company to work with. The electrician, Joe M., arrived right at the scheduled time. He quickly assessed the job I had in mind and recommended the best solution. I am extremely happy with the results and the cost of the job. I would definitely trust Joe and Erickson Plumbing, Heating, Air and Electrical of Blaine to do work for me again.

I called Ouverson Sewer & Water in a panic yesterday. The woman who answered the phone listened to my story about another company pressuring me to make a fast decision about two, very expensive repairs.
At first, she told me that they are a small family owned business and that they fit their camera scope appointments in when they could, between other paying appointments. When I called back a half hour later, she spoke to me woman to woman and said it infuriates her to see people trying to take advantage of women and that she was going to make sure that someone would make it to my house that day (yesterday).
The Ouverson Sewer & Water Technician was at my house for maybe 15 mintues total. Within five minutes he had easily pushed his camera through a toilet paper clog that the first company had showed me an insisted was impassable.
Ouverson Sewer & Water charged me nothing, their technician (Matt) showed me that the water was draining through the pipe with ease and potentially saved me $7500 / $8500 that the other company was trying to fleece.
Ouverson Sewer & Water came highly recommended. I hope that you never need them, but if you do, you can bet they will be honest.

I've used Pete to help me finish my basement bathroom as well as a bonus room bath. I've also given his name to many of my friends for their projects such as toilet replacement, leaky faucet repairs, and used him at our place of business (flooring replacements). Pete always responds and gets the job done when we need him to!

Our pipe was leaking through the top floor bathroom and into our office area on the first floor. We needed emergency services and Hibernian was there. He showed up on time, had the right PVC piping to solve the problem, and fixed our issue. He was engaging and so helpful! The price was much less than anticipated. He saved our 4th of July weekend! Amazing professionalism, fun conversation, and our new go to plumber! Will be recommending him to all our friends!

We were leaving on an extended trip the next morning and our sink backed up. We called our usual plumbers and all were busy and unable to accommodate an emergency call. But John's sewer and drain cleaning agreed to come out within an hour and 40 minutes later our problem was solved. Not only did they do fabulous work but the plumber was a super nice guy. I highly recommend this company based on this one experience.

Our Kitchen faucet recently broke and needed to be replaced. After trying to remove it myself, I couldn't get it out so I called another plumbing company to come out and do the work. Not only did they try to up-sell several different fixes / services, but their estimate was well over $1,000 because they insisted that the valves needed to be replaced before they would change out the faucet.
I called BP Mechanical after telling the other company to get out and Kirsten in the office worked their schedule out so that they could be there the same day. Both Pat and Kirsten were very friendly and easy to work with and had the job done in less than an hour! Their rate was 1/10th of what the other company quoted me for the same amount of work. Knowing that someone like them is in the same city as I am and VERY reliable, I will never call anyone else for any plumbing needs going forward.

We recently bought our house and were trying to put a vented hood in the kitchen to replace a recycler microwave when the project exploded. The HVA/C techs recommended Charlie and he showed up within hours for what we thought was going to be a small job of moving one pipe. He started looking around and discovered that all the plumbing from the second floor bathroom to the basement was not only not to code but also in jeopardy of causing major issues (wrong sized pipes, joints where they shouldn't be, standing water in capped pipes, etc.). Phil stopped by shortly after and took two hours and a lot of running up and down stairs to diagnose the job and give us a comprehensive scope of repairs he would propose. It really made me feel like he was taking the time to get it right and solve the whole situation instead of just a symptom of a problem.
We had one price and only one price due to their thorough diagnosis - the quoted price and time was spot on. Phil scheduled us in and came back for an 8 hour installation and fix. When it looked like he may not make it solo in the 8 hours he promised, he called in backup and it didn't cost us more or extend the job.
The best part and the reason I will forever recommend this group as well as have them back for all my plumbing needs is their incredible follow up. Phil worked with me to identify when the inspector could come out and close the job so we didn't have to make extra phone calls or deal with the city at all. A few days before the inspection, we found out that the previous owners had kindly left us with an open plumbing permit from a totally different company. That company told me to just work it out with the inspector and luckily, the inspector said he was willing to tag it onto his already scheduled visit. Phil showed up early and had already talked to the inspector that day and heard about the other permit. He set up the house to facilitate the inspector's visit and asked me about the other permit. He took the time to check out the work and asked great questions to understand the mechanics of the house. When the inspector showed up, Phil talked him through all his work step-by-step and walked him through the work the other company did!
For all that work, the inspector was maybe in the house for 10 minutes because of Phil's prep work and passion for his job. He put everything back and was out the door (he spent all this time and attention on our house on a Friday even though he had plans to go out of town with his family- when I found out, I forced him out and promised to do the final touches of clean up myself I was so impressed with his commitment!).
St. Paul Pipeworks cares about every job they do and the people they help. Their commitment shows when they send thank you cards and remember you with a card on the holidays. It seems like a small thing but it sure doesn't make you feel like a number. Charlie's commitment is best summarized in his statement to us, Plumbing should last longer than any of us so I plan to do my job so well, I won't see you again for this work. All the more reason that when the rest of the house gets remodeled, Charlie and Phil are the only plumbers I will allow through the front door.
Fair warning: Charlie and Phil may not be the cheapest bid you could get but would you rather save money and have a headache with permits and poor workmanship or spend a little extra with a company that takes great pride in their work and is committed to making your experience as wonderful and stress free as possible? I am more than willing to spend a little more now and call St Paul Pipeworks first than call them second after the first company screws up and I now have to pay for the work twice!

I called Chris as well as 6 other plumbers on a Sunday and he was the only one who called me back within 10 minutes. He came within 90 minutes and was extremely thorough. I felt his prices were fair, especially given it was a weekend. I would highly recommend him for any plumbing job you need.

Joe from Augie's was friendly, professional, explanatory, and tolerant of my need to hover and ask a thousand questions. He was in and out in under 30 minutes and my drains have never drained better. They were upfront about pricing and a pleasure to do business with.
Joe also recommended additional services without creating the impression he was trying to sell me. And, when he was all done, he cleaned my floors and my bathtub, assuring me at every step that he'd leave it clean! I will certainly be calling Augie's when it's time to perform my full sewer service!

Alex came out and did a wonderful job. Very professional and knowledgeable He explained exactly what he was doing and why. The price was very reasonable! I was probably like most people when you see your basement flooded... This is going to break the bank. They quoted me their price and that's the price I paid.. no hassles no hidden up charges. 6 month warranty for the job done too. Definitely will use Marvel in the future.

Crooks! They came to unclog the kitchen sink, said there would be no charge to come give a quote. Quoted $300 to fix the sink- they started doing the job and their incompetence resulted in a hole in the drain pipe and flooding the basement. They then had a different person come out to quote that job and they wanted to charge $800 to fix something they broke. Never use this company!

The friendly service person arrived promptly, masked, etc. for Covid which was reassuring. He tried to clear my drain but was not successful and suspected the clog was beyond the 50 feet his reemer could reach (I have VERY long drain pipe). He suggested that he return and pressure wash the pipe which would cost in total around $900 and then suggested that the pipe would need to be replaced (it's imbedded in the concrete floor) which would run about $11,000. None of this was high pressure sales talk - just options.
I phoned another company which came out with a 75 foot reemer and succeeded in clearing the drain pipe.
I also read up on replacing galvanized pipe in concrete flooring. It sounds like old pipe can simply be abandoned and new drain pipe put in behind a baseboard or somewhere hidden but not imbedded in the floor. MUCH LESS COSTLY.

We had Bruckmueller Plumbing install the water line on our new refrigerator, and install our new dishwasher and garbage disposal. He was very professional and did an excellent job!

Totally disappointed!
Plumb Right came to my home 2-3 years ago and knocked my socks off with prompt, and friendly service when they installed the disposal under my kitchen sink. It was only natural I would look at the advertising sticker they prominently placed on the disposal, get their phone number, and call Plumb Right when it came time to freshen-up the look of my kitchen with a new sink.
Here is where the fairy tale ends. When I called to ask for an estimate on how much it would cost to remove the old sink & install a new one (it took 10+ rings for someone to answer), I was handed off to Dale who said they would charge a $59 service call to come to my house to look at the sink before they would give me an estimate. Silently I shook my head to make sure the cobwebs were clear and I asked him to give me a ballpark on the removal and installation of a new drop in sink (mind you, this isn't an under-mount or anything complicated). Dale again replied that he couldn't give me that number. I asked, this time a little more direct, while acknowledging it's not a firm quote/ bid, whether or not the cost of the removal of an old sink and the installation of a new sink would be in the tens, hundreds, or several hundreds of dollars range? I told Dale I just wanted this general idea before I made the decision to have them come out and charge me $59 to tell me how much their bid would be. His reply, Well, I guess we cannot help you then.
Clearly they operate on a business model that I don't understand. $59 to come out and tell me if they are going to soak me for $300 (who knows if this is an accurate guess? Not me-- thanks Dale!) to remove and install a drop-in kitchen sink?!
I will continue my search for a plumber that has entered the 21st century, and I encourage you to do so as well. Consumers deserve better. Meanwhile, does anyone know the best way to remove advertising stickers from sink disposals?

We called Aarts and Tims for a running toilet. The tech came out the same day to repair. However, after replacing a part that didn't solve the problem - We were still charged for the service call. When we told them the problem was not fixed we had a second visit by another plumber from Aarts and Tims who said we needed to replace the whole toilet unit. This visit was again charged for parts and labor. They said they were giving us a discount for the first call, but why were we charged at all when the problem was NOT fixed during that call. Not happy with these service charges.

When I moved into an old home in St. Paul, I invited several electricians to come out and give estimates for what it would take to fix the most egregious electrical safety issues in the house. Of the 3, Service Today's electrician gave me the most outrageous bids - his lowest bid was $5000 higher than either of the others I received. He did not appear to listen as I repeatedly asked him to look at the breaker box before giving me a sales pitch; he did not prioritize or triage the issues as I had requested; and when he left, my electric oven was no longer working. I called the company to ask them to come back and see what happened to the oven; they said that unless they could prove it was because of the electrician, it would cost me $79 just to have them come take a look. In general I got the impression that ServiceToday is intent on selling me expensive services I don't need, rather than listening to what I am asking and taking responsibility. I will definitely not be hiring their electrical team.

Would not recommend this company to even my worst Enemy. They are nothing more than rip off artist. Had a technician (used VERY loosely) come out and explain that our a/c unit was going to need some major parts replaced at an exorbitant amount of money $3000 or in his opinion to just replace the whole system for a mere $1000 more. Happen to get a second opinion on the matter and low and behold for less than the cost of these con-artists to come out and describe all the things wrong with my a/c unit we are up and running cool and comfortable. I did contact Alex and then also spoke to Greg to allow them to make this right. They chose not to even attempt to make this right. I would RUN from this company there are so many more out there that are better and that are actually TRUSTWORTHY. They will belittle you, talk down to you and this basically explains how they do business.

Sabre is an exceptional contractor who did great work for me. After dealing with several contractors upon moving into a new home, Sabre ranks near the top for quality, timeliness, and customer service. They came to finish a job after another contractor had several employees quite and became non-communicative.
I recommend Sabre if you are seeking a reliable contractor to work with.

Made an appointment and got a confirmation email and text. Then a reminder email and text the day of the appointmen. Waited around for 2 hours just in case they were running way behind, never showed up or got a phone call. Decided to do the same and go with someone else.
