Best Emergency Services in Minneapolis MN

After my regular drain cleaning guy cleaned the roots out of my main sewer line twice this year and noticed that I had a couple of cracked pipes I got a few estimates for repair or relining. Ben ran his camera down my line and came up with a very good quote for relining the line all the way to the main line in the street. His bid was less than the quote I had for digging up my front lawn and replacing a few feet of pipe. This repair will outlive me and I shouldn't ever have to have the line cleaned out again. The guys showed up on time and were done and packed up in 6 hours, did a great job and provided a video for my records. I highly recommend these guys for relining which will fix the problems for good, instead of cleaning and piecemeal fixes that will cost much more in the long run. We had a great two man crew who were great at explaining what they were doing. Thanks!!!

I hired this company to help with electrical work in my new house. An electrician arrived on Nov 29th and I talked to him about the 5 or so things I needed done, such as installing an electrical outlet outside and new ceiling lighting and fans. He didn't do any actual work on the visit, nor did he charge me, but he also never followed up. I called the company on Dec. 7th to follow up on getting the work done and they said they needed to issue a quote first. Here it is now Dec 17th and I still haven't heard anything from them.

Mike from M&B Drain was awesome. He got to my house 1.5 hours after I first called (after I'd called 12 other companies and got no response).  He was thorough, fast, polite, and explained everything I asked about. He was there to fix my kitchen drain, which he did, but he also fixed my bathroom sink clog when I mentioned it could use some help too. I would definitely use M&B again!

Sometimes in life one finds oneself with a broken water pipe on a Sunday night, in the middle of a pandemic, mere hours before a house inspection that could make or break a sale.  Surely, I thought, it would be impossible to find a plumber who would be willing to come on such short notice, who'd have the knowledge and experience to do the job, and who wouldn't charge an absolute fortune.  

But as fate would have it, I found Steve @ Hibernian and my plumbing emergency actually turned out to be a positive experience.  He clearly knew exactly what he was doing and he had the expertise, equipment, and strength to get the job done well.  What's more, he was pleasant, professional, and personable... and he was completely fair in his pricing (even with the circumstances).

I called them because of the reviews on here and as impressed as everyone else.  They came to fix a clog in the kitchen sink.  When I called they were courteous, the person who came over was courteous.  From the time I called to when my drain was clear was maybe three hours.

The best and most reliable plumber.  We have used Pat for several jobs and he has become like family.   Reliable and reasonable.

I called Chris as well as 6 other plumbers on a Sunday and he was the only one who called me back within 10 minutes.   He came within 90 minutes and was extremely thorough.  I felt his prices were fair, especially given it was a weekend.  I would highly recommend him for any plumbing job you need.

Ruben called me when he was a few minutes away to let me know when he was going to arrive, and got the two drains that I needed unclogged taken care of with no issue.  He was professional and made sure to be as neat as possible.  Will use these guys again for a slow drain!

Our dishwasher needed to be anchored and Tyler got to our home on time and was very pleasant and did a quick and efficient. Would highly recommend him and use him again!

Very impressed with how fast I was able to get help. The quality of service was also great. I love supporting small, local businesses and it feels great that I now have a go-to plumber! My garbage disposal was leaking all over and I was able to get help fast.

These guys came to fix my clogged kitchen sink. Very prompt service,  though the technician could have been a bit nicer. Overall pleased though, sink had been a problem for a while. They were recommended to me by a friend.

Really responsive and prompt. Showed me how to fix the problem myself in the future. Completely cleaned up after unclogging our bathroom sink.  Would have never known they were here except our drain was no longer clogged!

I can't say enough good things about my experience. They were able to fit me in the same day when I reached out regarding needing to have my old, leaky outdoor spigot replaced. Nate came out and he was fantastic. He was super fair and kind and was working to find solutions that would be quicker, cheaper fixes before ultimately needing to go through the wall to replace it. I spent quite a bit of time comparing companies, reading reviews, and getting quotes. I am beyond pleased to have gone with Aart's Speedy Plumbing and wouldn't hesitate to work with them again! I've used this company twice. Once to replace a faucet in my kitchen and second to replace a water heater. Both times they were on-time, courteous and offered a great price for the work/equipment they provided. We got a second quote on the water heater replacement and the difference in price was over $1,000. Highly recommend this company!

This company attempts to take advantage of the elderly. They gave my parents a quote for almost 6k for a new ac unit. They told them it was shot because of mouse problems. They called another company and they repaired it for $140.00. Do not call these incompetent fools for any reason. The friendly voice when you initially call is a con that will cost you a fortune. Heed my warning! You will forever regret this mistake.

GROSSLY OVERCHARGED - We had a beeping fire alarm. I called at 5:15pm they said they would have to charge the $250 after hours rate, I knew it was a 10 minute job, but I really felt better about them doing it. It was weird that they charged this fee up front over the phone, but okay. When they got here they said it would cost an ADDITIONAL $500 to install the fire alarm ... WHAT? I told him I couldn't pay that, and wondered what kind of an alarm he was installing exactly. We just needed an off the shelf kind of product. After insisting that I couldn't do $500 he said, oh we do have a $300+ option. At that point we just needed the beeping to stop. I figured any other electrician might have charged the $300 to come out. So I paid it. Then he had me sign like 6 different things on his ipad. I'm sure they get threatened with lawsuits all the time. He swapped out the detector in about 10 minutes. Did that well I guess, but grossly overcharged. I'm feeling pretty sick about it. If you are desperate, they will be out there. I'm guessing they have zero repeat customers. BTW - next day, I had another alarm go out in the house. I watched a youtube video and chose to do in myself. 10 minutes and $22 later- VOILA. New life skill I guess.

Brand new air condition at our new house doesn't work. Waiting for a week now to get it fixed - not even receiving a call back.

Hmm....what does that say about their creditability and customer service??

They have an online scheduling system, which I used, but they never showed up. I got confirmation emails and texts, even reminder texts. But no show, no call, no nothing.

Was terrible, from not showing up first day to being late .. He knew I had a home warranty, they were the ones that found him.  He knew the rules.
This process took over a month to get resolved, He finally came out to the house and told me I had 3 leaks under my kitchen sink.  After numerous attempts from myself and the home warranty to get the $$ for fixing the problems he finally came back with a cost of:
$717 for the kitchen faucet (I told him no, I bought one myself and had it installed)
$225.00 garbage disposal
$184.00 old garbage disposal (I could of thrown this away myself after looking at the invoice)
$115.00 piping repair.
The day the problems were corrected he told me to pay bill in full and that he wasn't dealing with the home warranty company and that if I didn't pay him he was charging me an additional $160 per hour. I paid him as I wanted them out of my house.  All this took place while I had the home warranty on the phone explaining to him they would be issuing him a check that very day!  But Jason from Big River Plumbing, didn't care! my after thought were I should of called the police and had them removed from my property.  
Then Jason had the nerve to send me an email thanking me for their business and wished me a 'blessed' day.. Really?!?!?

Save your headaches! this problem took over a month to get resolved.  Don't use them for any projects!!!

Overly aggressive and dishonest sales person (Ray R), poor quality installation of my hvac that left the gas line obstructing the bottom panel so it can't be fully serviced without removing the gas line, overcharged thousands of dollars for the lowest quality product. Avoid Dean's, I'd give them less than 1 star if that was an option.

Edit: they responded to my google review and asked me to call them but all they did was waste more of my time. After telling me they were unable to pull up the pricing information for the hvac unit they sold me they assured me they gave me a fair price but the exact same units are available at retail prices, including delivery, for many thousands of dollars less than I was charged even including the discounts I was offered. Do not hire Dean's, they will take advantage of you and then pretend to care about your concerns while giving you the run around.
