Best Leak Detection in Minneapolis MN
Sometimes in life one finds oneself with a broken water pipe on a Sunday night, in the middle of a pandemic, mere hours before a house inspection that could make or break a sale. Surely, I thought, it would be impossible to find a plumber who would be willing to come on such short notice, who'd have the knowledge and experience to do the job, and who wouldn't charge an absolute fortune.
But as fate would have it, I found Steve @ Hibernian and my plumbing emergency actually turned out to be a positive experience. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing and he had the expertise, equipment, and strength to get the job done well. What's more, he was pleasant, professional, and personable... and he was completely fair in his pricing (even with the circumstances).
I highly recommend Hibernian Plumbing.

Tyler is personable, responsive and got the work done in a timely manner. I look forward to hiring him again in the future!

I would recommend Rescue Sewer & Drain to anyone, and I'll definitely be back with future plumbing needs! I wasn't expecting to have our garbage disposal fixed the same afternoon I sent an inquiry, but Roman made it happen. He was incredibly efficient and professional. I'm seriously so grateful, having the garbage disposal working gives me peace of mind!

One of the local plumbers told me that I need a new sewer line and it was going to cost me $15k. I asked the local hardware store (Settergren's) who's opinions I trust a great deal, and they recommended that I get a second opinion. Settergren's has a list of vendors that their customers with whom their customers have had good experiences and JMJ is one of the plumbers on the list. Joe, the JMJ owner, came by the next day and helped me think it through and decided to wait and see. He ended up doing some work to keep the line clear at a very reasonable price. Joe is an honest, hard-working guy that you can trust. I recommend him without reservation.

I hired Sparrow Plumbing to install an ADA toilet. He was prompt responding and setting up a home appointment. The toilet was installed the next day. It turned out that the toilet seat I selected caused the toilet to be too high. Val again responded promptly and brought out 2 different seats and a lower toilet as well.
I appreciated his responsiveness; his price was fair and included a 1 year warranty re: leakage. His plumbing skills were very good! I would highly recommend him!!

I received amazing and prompt service for my emergency plumbing call! I had a plumber at my house within a half an hour of my original call. Toilet was so backed up it would not plunge for me and I had sewage backing up into bathtub and shower in a separate bathroom.
Andrew (#2766) was extremely thorough in diagnosing the issue. He removed toilet and snaked out pipe -revealing and resolving issue. I appreciate his shoe covers and floor tarp protection that he used when moving toilet. Andrew explained everything and showed me where the issues were. He told me how to prevent future problems and things to watch for.
Andrew called in Brian ( #1326) from their restoration team to check for water in my main floor ceiling. We had heard dripping and I was concerned about water damage. Brian was here within 20 minutes. No charge for this assessment service! Again, good information and explanation! Fortunately, no water concern in my ceiling!!
I have worked with a variety of plumbing services over the years. Roto-Rooter is by far my best experience!

We had Bruckmueller Plumbing install the water line on our new refrigerator, and install our new dishwasher and garbage disposal. He was very professional and did an excellent job!
3992 Pennsylvania Ave, Eagan, MN 55123
I hired Plumb Right to bring my dishwasher plumbing up-to-code and ended up repiping my house. I appreciated the free estimate, going over my options in detail, and the job done. Devon was easy to work with, friendly and confident. I did find a small leak after the installation, but I called and had an appointment scheduled the same day and it was free of charge. It is great to have better water pressure and a functioning dishwasher! I would definitely recommend Plumb Right.

Finally had enough of the shower turning into a bath mid-way through washing my hair, and decided that something must be done. One week and a failed experiment in DIY plumbing later, I decided that something ELSE must be done, and that it would involve a professional.
Google brought me to Augie. His website was informative and, given the option, I'll usually go with a local small business. However, when I called, the recording on the other end of the line told me he was away fulfilling his obligation with the National Guard. I certainly couldn't fault him for that, but the clog had only been getting worse, and this could not wait. Dejectedly, I called a big chain drain-cleaning company, navigated the phone tree, and got put on hold twice, when a familiar number popped back up on my screen--Auggie called me back. He was free. He wanted to clean my drain. Things were starting to turn around.
He showed up promptly, right when he said he would, even though it was the weekend. Super-friendly. He quickly diagnosed and solved the problem, even with my old pipes, even though I had the type of trap he was hoping I didn't. He even gave me some advise about insulting my pipes and whatnot. Nice guy. Doesn't take credit cards. No big deal.
In conclusion: An absolute pleasure to do business with.

Bad experience actual bill was twice as much as what the quote was. when I spoke with him to see why we were charged twice the amount of what the quote was they told me because it took twice as long as expected to work on it. I said yes that is correct That's because your plumber did not have the correct tool so he sat there and tried to get the job done with the wrong tool instead of going to buy the proper tool so he could do it in the correct amount of time. The technician was honest with me and told me he had the wrong tool and that's why it took so long because he was trying to force other tools to fit and work.

So we had metro do our rehab, and everything just turned out great.

I would not recommend this company to anyone, came in told me to could not run my furnace and offered me a replacement for 7000. left 2 heaters (only with a 40 dollar deposit) for me to heat my house. called 3 other companies the next day and had a identical furnace to the one they were offering installed in my house for less then 3000, less then haf what they were going to charge. I called them every day for a week to lick u their heaters so I would not get charged the $40, was guaranteed they would not cash my check, finally a week later they come and pick up the heaters, the same day that they cashed my check. seems to me like they are stricly out for money withno regard to the customer.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, highly recommend to everyone to choose a different company. Full story below.
They were scheduled to come out and look at our two HVACs for routine work and to show us if there were areas that could be improved, as we were having trouble heating and cooling the 2nd floor of our house. Cost was $220 right away, and then the 2nd $220 would be due upon completion of the task.
The tech shows up, opens up the 1st HVAC, hits a wrong cord, and shorts out the entire thing. Instead of taking responsibility, he says that the furnace is not working, and we need to hire his electrician to come out and take a look for an additional $500. My wife tells me this, and i get on the phone immediately calling BS as it was working before the tech came out, and we negotiated a deal for the electrician to come out for $100 (even this pisses me off because he broke it in the first place, but what choice did we have?? broken HVAC in Minnesota winter is a death sentence for your house).
While this is going on, the same tech walks over to the 2nd HVAC, opens it up, and tells my wife its leaking Gas, and he needs to do an inspection and repair for $700.. At this point i am fully in rage mode, so i call a buddy who owns a few properties and he recommended center point ++. I sign up right away and they send a tech out while these Service Today techs are still there. The center point ++ guy looks at the 2nd HVAC and tells my wife, and the service today tech standing there that this HVAC is NOT leaking gas, and the service Today tech has no clue what he's talking about.
Because the routine maintenance was not completed, they wanted to schedule a follow up visit to go back through everything; which we did not want to do but already signed the agreement so we didn't have a choice. MY wife schedules him for 2 weeks later and the tech bails and says he can't make it, and schedules a new time for another week after. When the next appointment date comes along, he can not make it again, and we did not hear from them again.
A couple weeks later we get that remaining bill for $220 for COMPLETION of the project, which we laughed off and said we would not pay, and then just now we see they sent it to collections who now wants us to pay.
Its laughable how bad of an experience we had with these guys. if you took the time to read this whole thing, please for the love of god choose someone else.

Everyone makes mistakes and accidents happen. It's part of life.
However, when a company repeatedly makes blunders which cost you money and then refuses to make it right, that's just bad business. Personally, I had to take vacation time over six days and spend an additional $700 too because of their errors.
My wife and I built a new home last year with Sabre as the HVAC and plumbing contractor, and we've had an incredible amount of trouble with their quality, craftsmanship and customer service.
Here's is a quick rundown of the trouble we've had with Sabre:
-The technicians at Sabre installed our HVAC system wrongly causing cold winter air to be forced into the house instead of passing through the furnace. This caused our winter heating bill to be $100-$150 more than the average for the winter months. It was eventually fixed, but in the end, their mistakes cost me money.
-Because of the issues with the HVAC system would couldn't use our lower level during the winter. The temperature rarely crept above 60 degrees. At night, the temperature rarely got above 55 degrees, despite our thermostat set at 70 degrees. The problem was eventually resolved, but it took over three months and six service visits to get it done.
-Our 2 Zone HVAC system and thermostats were wired backward. The heat control on the thermostat was wired to the AC system, meaning the AC would turn on when the heat was supposed to. This meant we were greeted by a blast of cold air when the heat was supposed to turn on. This should have been found during inspection but was not. Again, Sabre had to send someone out.
-Technicians had to come to our home six times over two months to fix the problems above. Yes, you read that correctly SIX TIMES. This forced me to take unnecessary time off and lose even more money. You know it's ridiculous when you are on a first name basis with the technicians.
-Finally, we had a natural gas line installed during the building process. I spoke with a rep from Sabre and was quoted over the phone $292 for the job. To my surprise, I received a bill for $550 after it was installed. This price was never agreed upon at any point. I would have paid the bill without much thought, but because we had so much trouble, I was extremely annoyed. I paid the bill, but the company should have compensated us.
Save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.

Call ANYWHERE else!! I'd rather pay cash to the shadiest looking plumber on Craigslist. Took their office 6 months to send me an initial bill. A tech came to my home in September 2018 and I was not billed until March 2019. My husband and I called 3 times for an explanation on our bill and waited 2 entire billing periods for an explanation from the owner. Once a payment plan was FINALLY agreed upon, I paid within 20 days. They had already sent me to collections!!!! This place is a money hungry joke. I spoke to 3 people - only 1 was any type of apologetic for the multiple delays in clearing this up. So much for supporting local business.
8640 Harriet Ave S Ste, Ste 100, Bloomington, MN 55420
They have an online scheduling system, which I used, but they never showed up. I got confirmation emails and texts, even reminder texts. But no show, no call, no nothing.

Thanks!!

They sold and installed the wrong part for our furnace. We had to hire another contractor the next day and pay for the correct part AGAIN. They refuse to give us our $468 back for a part that was completely useless!! Do NOT whatever you do use this company. They are scammers!!!

I am writing this review in a bit of disappointment for Matt's Plumbing Solution's.
This review comes from my experience and my brother as well.
I headed a bathroom remodel which was in an older home, 6x8 bath. The initial bid was $5290 to remove a toilet and sink and radiator, replace lead drain pipe and install a shower head line and reinstall the components.
When the tear out was done and ready for plumbing changes, Josh incorrectly measured the drain height to the stack. It was believed that the stack was going to need to be lowered and with a change order, it would cost $3500 more.
When I was upset with these findings, his attitude was very unprofessional - basically stating something along the lines of well I can just wrap up what has been done and you can have someone else do it in a laughing sense.
When you are the customer facing thousands in repair, this is not a joke. You are not making light of my blood pressure at this point.
When the change order came, I never noticed the statement for the drain-line change.
The tub drain ran over to the sink, and then to the stack in series.
So while I didn't notice this in the change order, $2390 of the $3500 was apparently for a 3 foot section of drain removal and replacement. All verbal communication was about a stack-pipe change out. When I proceeded with the work, they then found that they incorrectly measured it, and we would not need to change out the stack.
Great. Moving forward, I had already paid up $4500. By the time all the remodel was at the point of tiling, the tub was not level. I call them up and Josh said he leveled the tub and the tub was not leveled with the room but the world.
I know how to use a level. It was clearly NOT level. He said he was going to swing out to take a look at it, but never did show up. Mind you, I was getting pretty upset with the services by this point anyway because I did not like his attitude.
I moved forward, and once tiling was done, and it came time to put the plumbing back into place, I was told that $3587 was due up front, and $790 after final inspection. RED FLAG -
This difference reflected the shower hardware AND the apparent drain change from the sink and toilet. $2390 for 3 ft of pipe!
All in all the plumbing work would have been $8877 for a 6x8 bath. Outrageous.
So, we spoke about this and I called out on the ridiculousness of the $2390 for 3ft of pipe, which Matt was not being at all forgiving on, and that ended the work with this group. Forced as I was to pay the $2390 difference, I went to town completing the rest of it myself.
I should have listened to my brothers warning.
In his experience, his wife and him had MPS add a water softener system. In which was hooked up completely wrong, failing to separate the softener system from his sprinkler system, and also took all day to do the install...
I really did like Matt, he seems to be a more personable guy, but Josh is unprofessional. They will nickel and dime you, and holy crap do they over charge. Be warned.
