I have been using PJS Plumbing for years. They have done multiple jobs at a couple of different locations and we have been thrilled with the work each time. Pete the owner is very knowledgeable, honest, prompt and professional. You get all of that and PJS is very reasonably priced. In fact, I think they should charge more. Whether you're doing a massive renovation and simply don't have the time to install some new faucets, I would highly recommend PJS.

Sometimes in life one finds oneself with a broken water pipe on a Sunday night, in the middle of a pandemic, mere hours before a house inspection that could make or break a sale. Surely, I thought, it would be impossible to find a plumber who would be willing to come on such short notice, who'd have the knowledge and experience to do the job, and who wouldn't charge an absolute fortune.
But as fate would have it, I found Steve @ Hibernian and my plumbing emergency actually turned out to be a positive experience. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing and he had the expertise, equipment, and strength to get the job done well. What's more, he was pleasant, professional, and personable... and he was completely fair in his pricing (even with the circumstances).
I highly recommend Hibernian Plumbing.

Charlie and Phil are great. A friend recommended them. They're responsive, keep you informed about their work and what's going on with your home's pipes. I moved a washer upstairs to a new area and they installed quality plumbing...and found and replaced some old pipes that could have caused thousands in home repairs had they gone unchecked.
I will use these guys for my bathroom remodel next.

We were very happy with our experience with YoungCastle Bathrooms and would recommend this company to anyone thinking about a bathroom project.
Starting with the bid process, Dimitri showed up on time, was respectful, and spent the time he needed to measure and clearly document the project. After the proposal was ready, he stopped by and went through every item in detail - the work breakdown for demolition, carpentry, plumbing, tile work, and other optional labor work. Everything was clearly spelled out, and Dmitri answered all of our questions.
Our project lasted three weeks. He was on time every day - not a minute late. He would always spend a few minutes every morning going through his plan for the day, reviewing any change requests, and answering questions. The path to the work area was covered and taped with tarps; every single item that needed to be preserved was wrapped and taped with plastic. Entrances to the nearby bedrooms were covered (and the plastic was removed at the end of each day). The mirror and the vanity in the bathroom were properly protected. We were very impressed with his attention to detail.
The quality of Dimitri's work was superb. As he was laying down the tiles, he took the time to make sure no tiles with repeating patterns were next to each other, and made sure the tiles were from the same lot. He inspected the new bathtub for defects. He was very conscious about how the project work would inconvenience us (we are all working from home) and he made sure we had plenty of advance notice before the water needed to be shut off for plumbing work. As part of the project, he also took hundreds of pictures to document the process.
When you're looking for a contractor, you want someone who has excellent skills, is dependable, responsible, and pays attention to detail. You will be happy with YoungCastle Bathrooms.

This company is awesome! In the past they have fixed my leaking kitchen faucet and my garbage disposal. Today they fixed my faucet in my tub shower. Sam was very knowledgeable and told me everything I needed to know about the repair. He was efficient and fast! They have helped me so many times and I would recommend this company to anyone!

We have used Madetzke and Gust three times. We have had a tankless water heater, new sink, new water shutoff, ice maker line, and gas stove. Amazing service. Always on budget. Curious. I would and do recommend to everyone. If you need a plumber look no further.

Lange's Plumbing & Heating have provided us with superior service for years. Jim and his crew have been quick to respond to our needs, efficient in their work and always priced fairly. It would be easy to take advantage when there is no heat in the middle of a cold Minnesota winter or suddenly you find your hot water heater has failed........they simply respond like professionals.
Fast, fair, friendly and with the quality workmanship we need. For us it is Lange's Plumbing and Heating!

If I could provide a zero star review, I would. I called and got an appointment with their team. This part wasn't bad. They gave me a window in which they would be there the next day. The window was 11am-1pm. So far so good. Our kids take a nap around 2pm, so we thought it wouldn't be an issue as it was our kitchen sink and we didn't think it would take longer than an hour. But then the next day came and at 1:35pm they hadn't showed up. I called them to see where they were and they had said that we were the next stop. At this point they were already late. I asked why we weren't notified that they would be late and expressed my concern that we have kids and that this was past the time they told us they would be here. The lady on the phone then begins to tell me that she had provided a window of 11am-2pm the day before. I specifically remember this not being true because I had asked my wife if this time would work, discussing the situation about the kids. I move on. I asked her when they would get here and she goes on to say that it will be another 40-45 minutes (which means they wouldn't get here until 2:20 which means they would be late either way, whether it was a 2 hour window or 3 hour window). And I know she didn't give a 3 hour window on the phone.
Anyhow, the plumber showed up a little after 2:30pm. He was here for about a half an hour and left.
After he left, the whole kitchen area smelled like raw sewage. We poured vinegar down the drain. We cleaned the whole sink area including wiping down the inside of the drain (we have a garbage disposal). We thought that would do the trick, but it didn't. We later come to smell the worst of it being under the sink. The smell wasn't coming from the sink, it was coming from the area where the pipes were.
I called their customer service phone number again and they said to dump vinegar on it, clean it with bleach, etc. she also went on to say that the plumber that was at our house has stinky tools now too. That our sink stunk up his truck. Well we tried cleaning it again. Hopefully the smell would get better.
We woke up the next morning and the smell was still there, no change. My wife went to the store, bought baking soda, extra strength cleaner, 3 air fresheners, and more vinegar. She took everything out of the cabinet and hand wiped everything and everywhere and placed the odor removers in the cabinet. This should do it... nope. We got a fan. Nothing. We added coffee beans. Nothing.
Now folks, our house is only five years old. I'm not sure what would have made it smell that bad...
But I called customer service one last time and the lady on the phone told me very rudely (let me tell you that I wasn't pleasant either) that this was our fault. She complained TO ME about the contents of our sink stinking up their team's tools and vehicles. She said that the smell was from us and there was nothing she could do.
I had a lot of questions...
1. Was the smell here when her plumber got here? No.
2. Could it be the pipe was loose and the smell was coming out of it still? She said, no way (without checking)
3. Has this happened before? Not really I was told.
4. Why is the smell under the sink? And not in the sink? (If it was in the sink that's one thing, but under the sink leads me to believe they spilled somewhere and don't properly clean it up)
The only response I got was that this is your fault because your sink smelled that bad. We did nothing wrong.
Talk about terrible customer service. I would suggest no one ever uses this company again. They were late to the job, rude, blameful, and completely irresponsible in cleaning up the mess they created for the job we paid them for.
Oh and we paid $125 for 30 min. Not a bid gig for 30 minutes of work. What a waste.

I would not waste your time scheduling service with Dean's. They will set up an appointment and give you an eight window. After you wait for eight hours no one will show up and you will get a message stating that they need to reschedule. When you call and ask to discuss this with someone in management none of the managers will talk to you. They are very unprofessional and have no respect for their customers time. Minus one star rating!!!

If I could select a negative rating, I would. I hired Genz-Ryan to install a new furnace. I previously had one furnace for my upstairs and a smaller one for the basement and that worked well. They were about 20 years old, and carbon monoxide leaking out of both of them caused us to replace them. We had a salesman come out to give us an estimate, and he told me that they could replace the main furnace with one that would heat both the upstairs and downstairs comfortably. He drew a diagram and said that they would be adding more vents for heating and more cold air returns. The day that the men came out to install it, they didn't have his diagram and they didn't add any more heating vents. I called the gentleman who sold it to me to let him know that I didn't think they had put in any additional heat vents, and he said he couldn't come out and take a look, because he was just a salesman. In addition to that, I have called and gotten people to come out 3 times. They have come out, and my son was home. They told him that we needed the picture window in the basement replaced, and that all the doors to the rooms (bathroom, basement bedroom, laundry and storage/shop area) should be kept open for the air to circulate, etc. Finally today, the man who came out told me that they hadn't put in enough heating vents and cold air returns. He said if they installed more now, they would have to go through my suspended ceiling and that would cost a lot more money because I would have to replace that. I told him that I didn't think I should have to pay for that since it wasn't done correctly by them the first time. He didn't say anything to that. I told him that I have given them bad reviews to everyone I had talked to for how they mishandled the whole installation, and I decided that I needed to let everyone know now. Please for your own sake, don't use them. For me, it was a waste of $14,000...NO, I DON'T LOVE THOSE GUYS!!! (their ad has a woman saying, I love those guys). Joanne D.

I own a condo unit and contacted Lakes Areas because I had little heat being generated and very high energy bills. Lake Area offered to come out the same day I contacted them. After very thorough testing of my heat issue, they concluded that I needed to replace my heat pump unit (this is equivalent to a furnace in a house). I was charged $200 on the spot for the visit, of which I wasn't made aware of when making the appointment. They quoted me $13,390 for replacement of a heat pump and dry wall repair, a larger hole needed to be cut in the ceiling for installation. I was quoted HALF this amount by a second company and eventually found someone to do the work for ONE THIRD the cost. The markup by Lakes Area on just the heating unit itself was 89%! Also, none of the other companies charged me to come out and provide an estimate.
