I needed a new A/C for a rental property. I was given two quotes for expensive units and subjected to hard sales. When I requested price on a lower end model and perhaps different sales rep, I was told to get lost. It was either the expensive unit or no unit. This attitude was supported by management via emails.
My neighbor had a plugged A/C line. The tech had no interest in the call and just wanted to run a pvc pipe over the roof, against our HOA rules and ended up doing nothing. He then had to return a second time and again did not want to deal with the problem. Created a lot of drama with the possibility that the ceiling could collapse and every other world ending prophesy. After a LOT of prodding, he finally ran the garden hose through the pipe and unplugged it. 5 minutes of work, 40 minutes trying to get out of it. The ceiling is fine.
Another neighbor behind me had a remaining loud noise in her A/C after a prior service call by Geo. Brazil. When she called them to return, the tech again spent a great deal of time explaining there was no problem, the noise came from my unit behind her (not) and threatened to charge her $75 for the call to fix the noise from their prior repair. No fix and problem remains. Guess they hire deaf technicians.
This is not the same company that used to have good, caring service. George: Take a hike. 3 different customers, 3 rotten attitudes.
