Best Recessed Light Installation in Mesa AZ
We rent our house from a family member who lives in a different state. Our a/c went out and it was one of the hottest days (so far), which may explain why it broke in the first place.
We looked around for a few different places, and the majority of them were family owned businesses that didn't even answer their phone! Another one said We don't service after 5. Okay....
George Brazil, however, answered the phone after two or three rings. The lady on the phone said the man was booked, but he can definitely squeeze us in between one of the other appointments, and that he'd call us and/or be here between 5pm and 9pm.
Right on the dot, he called at 5:30 or so telling my mother he would be there in 20 minutes. He got here within 20 minutes! Not many people actually tell you 20 minutes and mean it, but he did.
The guy gets here, and my mother explains to him how we're renting, yada yada yada, and he talks to my family member who owns the place over the phone, gets us all set up and immediately starts fixing the A/C. Within 15-25 minutes or so, cold air was blowing out of our vents.
He told us that it was all set up, but he found something else wrong with it that would need to be fixed in the future. He offered us warranty for a whole year, plus 2 free services! They also waived the visit fee, or whatever it's called.
As far as customer service and satisfaction goes, I'm definitely impressed. At our old place, we had our air condition break 4 times! And the land lords would always call out crumby handymen who would spend 3 hours at our house, usually up in the attic. One guy even cut his whole hand open on the opening of our attic and got his blood all over the walls and my bathroom floor, YUCK! He almost didn't even clean it up, until I forced paper towels in his hand and sprayed cleaner where the blood spilled. No way am I cleaning up someone elses blood, gross.
George Brazil didn't make a mess, didn't have to creep around our house in every single room, didn't leave dirty fingerprints all on our walls, and finished the job with no hassle or stress. The guy was a very nice man who treated both my mother AND myself (also female) with respect. We didn't feel uncomfortable being as though it was just us two at home letting a male stranger in.
The ONLY thing I'd have to complain about is the prices. They DO give you great deals, warranties, free service checks (if you pay extra for them, but either way it comes out to the same price if you do or not) and they waive the check up visit, but our family member spent about 880 dollars on the new piece for our A/C. I looked it up, and if we actually knew how to fix it ourselves, we could have bought the part for about 200. That's the only down fall about George Brazil is the high prices, but when you compare them to other A/C places, their packages that they offer definitely win us over. That, and how nice their handymen are. (His name was Lance, so if you live in my area and need your A/C fixed, ask for this guy...he's really nice!) Also, the fact that he could speak proper English was a relief and a breath of fresh air because the majority of handymen out here apparently know 3/4 spanish, 1/4 English it seems...and when that happens, good luck understanding what's wrong with your a/c unless you know Spanish. I unfortunately, do not! It's not that I mind if you have a Spanish accent, just please speak your english clearly so I can understand you! I don't want to ask someone 7 times what the heck is wrong!
I'm giving it a four star because of the price, but the fact that they came out after 5 almost makes me want to boost it up to a 5 star. Having an AC company that comes out after 5 is a miracle, especially if your A/C craps out on you while you're at work and you don't find out until later.
Oh, and I know this is totally off subject and meaningless and also has nothing to do with the rating I gave it...but George Brazil needs a new commercial theme song! It's more annoying than it is memorable. That's just my tip of the day, haha!
Again, thank you George Brazil for fixing our A/C. Great job!
