Best Toilet Installation in Madison WI

This company was great when we hired them to do some emergency service to our rental property last winter.  I recommend them highly.  Their rates are reasonable, and their quality of service is outstanding.

They serviced our water heater in a snowstorm (February 4th, 2021).  They came quickly.  They installed a dryer vent on our dryer (so we didn't have to hire someone else to do that job).  They took the initiative to contact the manufacturer to get the part that we needed sent via overnight shipping, when they found that it wasn't available from local distributors (& pointed out to us that the water heater was just barely under warranty, so the part was free).  This was all done on a third floor condominium unit, that needed to be serviced on snowy winter days while up on a ladder.

Over the last 11 years, they have rooted our main drain, put in a water heater, replaced three different faucets, and fixed a clog we couldn't get at with our own tools.  Fast, friendly, honest plumbers doing quality work at a good price. Once they fix a problem, it's fixed.  You can trust Capitol: they respect their customers, and deserve their customers' respect.

Our water heater started to leak. Many plumbing companies couldn't come replace it for several days. The Plumbing Place could replace it within about 36 hours AND their prices beat the other companies!! The tech (John) was polite and informative. He completed the job quickly and completely.

Ian is great! I was able to schedule an appointment via text, and he responded immediately. He fixed the plumbing issue quickly. Very professional, prompt and personable! I would definitely recommend Remedy Plumbing's services. They're now on my speed dial.

I called Budget Drain for a clogged sink. He showed up on time and fixed the problem right away. Gary was very professional and didn't splatter a mess everywhere like the other company I had before. He was very reasonable with his price. I will call Budget Drain again if I have anymore problems.

Rafael did a great job with two challenging light fixture installations. Quick, professional, friendly, and his work was good and careful. He'll definitely be the first person we call the next time we need something handy.

Dan has (unfortunately, yet thankfully) been to my house several times to unclog my drain in the basement whenever it backed up. Day or night, I even called him on either Christmas Day or Eve, and he came out right away. Dan cares about his customers and always goes to great lengths to provide quality service and also provides references for bigger projects, for example, for me to get my tubing replaced in the basement, so that my drain doesn't keep on getting clogged. Anytime you need any sort of drain service, please call Dan!

Craig was phenomenal. I needed some help with bathroom fixtures and he was able to work with me in terms of scheduling. He was prompt in responding, up front on the charges and very efficient. The job was done really well. Thank u for your help! Yelp made it super easy for me ..

The work looks fine but this is a very expensive plumbing contractor. Technician not friendly or helpful when I asked about other areas of the home.

TL;DR: Avid Plumbing was awesome for my water heater replacement.
A little more detail: Brian came out to give me an estimate for a tankless water heater on a Friday. I accepted the estimate Monday, Korey and Josh arrived early Tuesday to do the install, and everything went smoothly. Everyone was wonderful to work with, they have fair prices, and they are easy to contact. Avid Plumbing will be my go-to for any future plumbing work.

I called Dallman Plumbing for a quote on a kitchen remodel. Instead of sending someone over, I was asked to take pictures of the plumbing under the sink and email them. After 2 weeks with no response, I went with a plumber who came to the house to do the quote. The project is complete now, and I never did receive a response from Dallman by email or phone.

I initially inquired about the availability of specific equipment (down to the model) due to it being unavailable with the original service provider I selected. Matt encouraged me to set up an appointment. Before we spent the time on site, I asked that he check for this specific equipment so we don't waste each other's time. He called back good new he checked with the owner and had two units, one in Madison and one in MN, and encouraged me to set up a site visit with a Comfort Advisor, Greg. We spent about an hour showing him the project. He didn't hesitate to criticize the other company. Then, once he better understood the scope of our project he started planting seeds indicating they don't want the job. We're scheduled out 14 days (matt said 10) This is going to be a really tough project this is going to be a BIG Job we're going to be way more expensive than the other guys- I can tell you that right now Then he tossed out a big number to scare me off when we were about to enter the attic (which we were bracing for) it would be $12K just to replace and existing system Then he looked around and came up with several objections we're not going to be able to get back there The vent would have to come inside the closet, or right above the closet door and you can't have that Then he tried to steer me towards a different brand of equipment but eventually assured he would get back to me with numbers in 24 hours but also encouraged me to call him back in 48 hours if I didn't hear back. He said equipment was less of an issue, and its more of an issue to get the people to do the work. 4 hours later he called and said they JUST sold the two units that were available yesterday... but that they would pass on my job regardless. Its clear they have more business than workers, and that's fine if they want to cherry pick the straight forward ones. I would just rather they be selective and cherry pick BEFORE they spend an hour of my time away from work. I understand they don't have a crystal ball but I was very specific down to the model number of the equipment, scope of project, and timeline but they wasted my time anyway.

Incredibly difficult to schedule anything... they can't even confirm if we can set an appointment for tomorrow.

Lange plumbing is proud to overcharge for materials used and well not used  The amount of pex stated on the bill vs what was actually used aren't the same as what's in place. I measured just under 50' of 3/4 pex used and 80' is on the bill. They charge by the 20' increments, so if 21 feet is used, 40' will be charged and they keep the extra material even though you pay for it. I only measured about 43' of 1.5 PVC pipe and 70' is on the bill and was charged $49.50 for every 10'. That's almost 400% more than say buying it at Home Depot. One stick of 2 pvc pipe was charged $55. The 3 pvc pipe was billed for 25' used and was charged $247. That's nearly $10 a foot. I get upcharging to make money but at what point is it extortion. The labor cost is reasonable. We call in others for their knowledge and make sure code is followed not to be overcharged on supplies because that is the industry standard.
