The invoice was about $400 higher than suggested by my friendly service person. When I inquired and asked for clarification, I was told to wait and Stan would get back to me. He did not. When a second bill arrived there was a $75 late fee. When I called to speak with Stan, he rebuffed my inquiry for clarification. He was rude. He interrupted multiple times. He said at first that he would keep the late fee, and only after I questioned his logic in that did he say that he would consider it. I'm happy to pay, just curious why asking what the high bill was for is cause for Stan to be rude and consider unethical conduct.

We were going to replace our kitchen faucet ourselves however ran into a snag as we couldn't get the valves to close so my first instinct was to call my plumber Dallman Plumbing. They were able to set up a time within 48 hours to come and replace the faucet and get the valves closed to turn off the water. Curtis came on time and with a smile on his face on a Monday morning he was efficient and friendly and I couldn't ask for a better professional. I was pleased with the amount of the charge and the speed at which it was taken care of. This is the second time I've had to use Dallman Plumbing for a plumbing project and I would not use anyone else. Five stars all around!

If you're looking for great service and people you can trust to handle your HVAC needs, I'd look no further than Cardinal Heating & Air Conditioning. My wife and I purchased a 25 year old home and we called up Cardinal to come check out the furnace. The tech who showed up was awesome. He let us know that the furnace was the original furnace, which even he was a bit surprised about (since they typically only last about 15-20 yrs), but he said it was still functioning just fine despite its age and didn't try to sell us on anything at all. We ended up liking our tech so much that we signed up for Cardinal's annual preventative maintenance plan for heating & cooling; which I'd highly recommend. Anyway, over several years our furnace kept passing inspections (in which at no time did anyone at Cardinal pressure us to upgrade), and the service maintenance checks we had with them were all great experiences.

Finally this past spring we had a tech out to check the A/C unit as part of our annual maintenance plan, and while he was running a diagnostic on the A/C he went the extra mile and used his down time to check our furnace; which thankfully he did, because he spotted a crack in the heat exchange (which I also verified was there). Now if you're unfamiliar with furnaces, a crack in the heat exchange is a serious issue; the type of one where you run the risk of carbon monoxide leaking into your house.  The tech was very apologetic for having to inform us of the bad news that by law he had to flag our furnace as unsafe to operate. However, I just profusely thanked him and said we knew the furnace was well beyond it's expected life, and that this was precisely why we had the maintenance plan in the first place. Anyway he went on to finish the air conditioning check that morning, but before doing so he called the office to have someone reach out to us about our options for a new furnace. As expected they got back to us pretty quickly (within a half hour).

Now I should also mention that our A/C unit was pretty old (13 yrs), and they typically only last 12-15 yrs. So it wasn't too surprising when he said it would be an extra $200 to top off the coolant and replace a part. He also estimated that even still, the unit would only have a year or two left before ultimately needing replacement. However instead of pushing the repairs through or trying to sell us a new A/C unit, he told us to hold on for a minute, and he called up the office to see if they were still running a promotion that was ending soon where if you buy a furnace (which we were already going to do through them) that you get an A/C unit free. It turns out that they still were (and had it been a few days later we would have been totally SOL), but in doing so he got them to revise our quote on the new furnace to include the new A/C unit. As a result we ended up saving thousands through this deal. And for those of you skeptics out there, no this wasn't some manufactured promotion that was put together to make the sale happen. We were already going to get the furnace from them, our tech simply was looking out for us and in doing so he saved us a lot of money.

Lastly I also want to mention that at the tail end of the A/C check-up I had to head to work, but my wife was home, and so we talked on phone the remainder of the morning sorting out all of the above. Now where things went from great to outstanding is when she called to inform me that Cardinal called to schedule the installation and the scheduler was like: are you available this afternoon? My wife was shocked, and confirmed that she was in fact implying that the furnace would be installed that day. She said: yeah, it looks like it might get a little chilly tonight, so I thought if it worked out we'd try to get that installed today for you.  So low and behold when I came home from work, they had removed the old furnace and A/C, installed the new units, and to top it off hooked us up with a new smart thermostat that worked with our 4 wire system (unlike our Nest) and had taken the time to walk my wife through all the features on how to use it.

So there you have it. If you've braved through my very lengthy positive customer experience story, you'll see why I'll be a Cardinal Heating & Air Conditioning customer for life. And for those of you who prefer the cliff notes... let me just say that Cardinal does excellent work, has excellent people, their work is timely, they are not pushy about trying to sell you anything, and that ultimately the cost of the new furnace and A/C was far less than the money we had budgeted for it. Thanks to them I sleep better knowing that my wife and kids are safe because the crack in my heat exchange was caught when it was. With the Cardinal, I feel like they truly have your best interest in mind, and I honestly can't say enough good things about our past several years of being customers of theirs . Thanks Cardinal!

This company is AWESOME. We had a blocked sewer drain, so I called a couple other places and had to leave messages. I called Mark's, got voicemail and decided to NOT leave one more message. I got a call back ANYWAY! She listened to my explanation Mark out in less than an hour.

Mark did a great job. He wore his mask the entire time, he told me what he was doing and why,  and then went on to explain what I could do to keep all drains in the house running smoothly.

And then I got the bill. Don't tell them, but it was about HALF of what I expected it to be! Great company, amazing price, if I need this sort of work done again, I know who I'm calling.

Scott, Mary, and their crew are fantastic. Whether Herb, Matt, or Anthony are on the job, I can trust that they are going to take care of my clients.  They handle both my residential and commercial work, for both remodeling and new homes or new construction.  Whether doing a bathroom for me or an extensive project, I know I can count on them.

Ian is great! I was able to schedule an appointment via text, and he responded immediately. He fixed the plumbing issue quickly. Very professional, prompt and personable! I would definitely recommend Remedy Plumbing's services. They're now on my speed dial.

Called Monday morning about a sewer back up in my basement, said they would be over in 20-30 minutes, showed up in 15 minutes. They had tree root and TP clog cleared out in about an hours. Fast, polite, and professional.  Will definitely call them again in a year to see how fast the roots have returned. I usually don't leave reviews but it's feels rare to find a service business that does it right and had to give them some recognition. Good job and thanks.

Rafael did a great job with two challenging light fixture installations. Quick, professional, friendly, and his work was good and careful. He'll definitely be the first person we call the next time we need something handy.

Dan has (unfortunately, yet thankfully) been to my house several times to unclog my drain in the basement whenever it backed up. Day or night, I even called him on either Christmas Day or Eve, and he came out right away. Dan cares about his customers and always goes to great lengths to provide quality service and also provides references for bigger projects, for example, for me to get my tubing replaced in the basement, so that my drain doesn't keep on getting clogged. Anytime you need any sort of drain service, please call Dan!

Helpful and honest painter. Also gave me a great deal. Was able to take care of a four bedroom house in two days. Highly recommended.

We live in an old house and we called B-Plumbing to fix leaking pipes. Rick was the guy and was great. He's been to the house before for smaller plumbing needs but his troubleshooting expertise and no-nonsense approach to doing top-notch work was worth taking the time to let his Manager know he's a gem. Rick also allowed my dog to be his apprentice during his visit. Highly recommend!

Avid installed our water heater 8 years ago...so when it stopped heating our water to a hot temperature we called them to service it.  Their tech would not listen to our concerns and ensured there was nothing wrong with the heater. Rather he told us our shower heads were causing the issue - oh and the fact that we sometimes use hot water several different times in a few minute period.  

Well after calling Cardinal Heating and cooling we now have hot water again.  They diagnosed the actual problem in less than two minutes and we fixed it.  

I'd stay away from Avid unless they start using techs with a little more knowledge and ability to listen to their customers.

Installed 3 toilets and a water heater. Everything was great and the recommendations to go with taller toilets was on point! Thank you!

Incredibly difficult to schedule anything... they can't even confirm if we can set an appointment for tomorrow.
