Best Bathtub in Lubbock TX
Bryan and his guys have been so good to us by providing excellent customer service, transparency and honest communication. They installed a water heater for us after a faulty one went bad. They fought for us to have a brand new one installed at no extra charge. We are very grateful for professionals that still care about their clients well-being. Thanks again, Bryan and Bees Knees Associates!

A gas leak was found by an inspector when I was selling my house, and I had to get it repaired immediately. I called Jay Young Plumbing on a recommendation, and they were awesome! They scheduled the job right away, the price was more than fair, and both the office and technicians made sure to communicate with me on every step. They really went above and beyond, and provided excellent work and customer service. I would definitely recommend this company.

I just want to share our experience with Bruce Thorton Heating and Air. On Friday, July 1st, a technician came out to fix my boyfriend's, 78 year old mother's, air conditioner. They gave her an estimate on replacing the entire unit but it was VERY EXPENSIVE, so she asked them just to please fix it. It was low on Freon and the fan motor had to be replaced. The tech rushed through this job and left around 6. He did not double check his work or even try to stick around to see if it would work properly. IT DID NOT. The condenser was leaking Freon so just a couple of hours after the tech left the unit stopped cooling. When we contacted them first thing Saturday morning to ask for help we were told that it was a holiday weekend and no one could come out until the next Tuesday. Once again we are talking about a 78 year old woman who is having to endure TRIPLE DIGIT temperatures for the next three days. They couldn't have cared less. On Tuesday a tech came out, found the problem, then said that the part was in Midland and he couldn't get it until 11 am on Wednesday. My boyfriend even asked if there was any way he could go to Midland and pick up the part. The tech said no they won't sell it to the public. Wednesday, after 11am, when the tech did not show up my boyfriend called the BTAC office and was told they could not find anything on the schedule!!! After getting very upset and rude with the employee someone finally agreed to come out, but ONLY if half of the bill from Friday (from the job that wasn't done properly to begin with) was paid up front. This is the same bill they had agreed to take payments on previously. My boyfriend's mother has been paying BTAC on an account for years and has NEVER NOT PAID. BTAC is the kind of company that has no problem leaving a 78 year old woman without air conditioning for SIX DAYS IN TRIPLE DIGIT HEAT. They charged her $900.00 to NOT FIX her air...almost $500.00 of that was for 10lbs of Freon the cost them 12.50 per pound. I know for a fact that a 30lb cylinder of Freon cost $375.00....and this is Freon that leaked out right after the tech left because he did not stay long enough to check for leaks! I am disgusted with the lack of compassion and ethics that BTAC has displayed on this job.

My heater motor went out. I was expecting to wait a few days until someone could come and fix the problem. I called late in the the day to set up an appointment and they said they would have someone come out the same day to change the motor. I have always had good service from Joe Rushing.

I used this company because my heater wasn't working. When I called to inquire about cost, I was told it would be $79 for the service call and if I wanted them to fix the problem it would be more depending on what the issue was. The guy was there for about 30 minutes before he determined it was my transformer. He asked me if I wanted him to go ahead and fix it, I asked how much and he said $250. Me, not knowing any better said okay. When it was time to settle up I was astonished to the see the bill. They use a predetermined price for certain stages. I was a Stage 2 charge, which was straight up $250. No one ever mention this pricing scam to me. I researched the price of the transformer and found it at Home Depot for $12.55!! So for 1 hr. labor and a part that cost $12.55 they charged me $329...quite a markup!! I think they are a bunch of crooks and will not recommend them to anyone!!
PS-Keep in mind the weather temperature was in the teens!! Two days later my heater is not working again!!. I called them and they said that it would be warrantied if it was the same problem if not there would be a charge. So, I'm thinking NOT. I will not be suckered again!! Called another company and they charge $34.95 for service call and do not have a predetermined Stage pricing. So BEWARE this company!!

Expensive and somewhat shady. I used these guys multiple times when I first moved to Lubbock. The were expensive, but did decent work so I stuck with them. After a while I noticed every time they came something else would suddenly go wrong. I never had any proof of misconduct until recently. They came to fix my drain and water lines under the bathroom sink, and I told the plumber I would be installing the faucet myself when they were finished. After months of trying to wrap my head around how to connect the drain pipe to the sink drain I finally realized they had used an adapter to change the pipe size out of the wall from 1 1/4 to 1 1/2. No wonder I couldn't find the right fitting for the 1 1/4 sink drain!! I am sure this was done on purpose in order to get me to call them back (getting more of my money).
There are definitely better options around Lubbock.
I know I won't be calling these guys back.
