Best Plumbing Inspection in Lubbock TX
There was water leaking into the garage. Dustin came over not too long after I called. I thought the water heater needed replacing because it wouldn't heat up, but Dustin quickly determined that the water heater could be fixed easily, which he did. The leaking, however, came from the air conditioner. He was able to get it all taken care of.

B & R installed the plumbing in our newly built house in 2010. We called there to get the model number of the kitchen sink because it was under lifetime warranty. Maggie, the person answering the phone, was put off by my request. She called back with information for the sink instead. Upon calling back to get the correct info, she was very rude. It wasn't a big deal. We just wanted the correct model number but I was accused of asking for something else, she was too busy with a customer and was just downright rude. We will no longer do business with someone who says she doesn't want any relationship with us. It was disrespectful. All we wanted was the correct number. Call elsewhere to get kind and helpful personnel.

I called Bruce Thornton to come out and fix my 86 year old father's sink. They came out looked at it, said it would need a ton of work, and that they would start on it the next week. They called him back the day they were supposed to show up and told him they didn't want to do it. He'd need to call someone else. So without giving him a recommendation or anything they just decided to they didn't want to do it and that was it. I think that's just down right rude and insensitive. Guys I hope you don't have elderly parents that can't leave the house and depend on others. Please never use these people. I can't believe they would just pick and choose what jobs they do. Horrible. I will make sure everyone I know, knows about this. I'm even writing an email to the AJ and KCBD. This is just absolutely heartless.

I used this company because my heater wasn't working. When I called to inquire about cost, I was told it would be $79 for the service call and if I wanted them to fix the problem it would be more depending on what the issue was. The guy was there for about 30 minutes before he determined it was my transformer. He asked me if I wanted him to go ahead and fix it, I asked how much and he said $250. Me, not knowing any better said okay. When it was time to settle up I was astonished to the see the bill. They use a predetermined price for certain stages. I was a Stage 2 charge, which was straight up $250. No one ever mention this pricing scam to me. I researched the price of the transformer and found it at Home Depot for $12.55!! So for 1 hr. labor and a part that cost $12.55 they charged me $329...quite a markup!! I think they are a bunch of crooks and will not recommend them to anyone!!
PS-Keep in mind the weather temperature was in the teens!! Two days later my heater is not working again!!. I called them and they said that it would be warrantied if it was the same problem if not there would be a charge. So, I'm thinking NOT. I will not be suckered again!! Called another company and they charge $34.95 for service call and do not have a predetermined Stage pricing. So BEWARE this company!!
