Best Plumbing Inspection in Louisville KY
Once again I was rescued by the wonderful folks at Ratterman. I can only report service over and above the call of duty. As a handicapped person it is such a relief to have trustworthy and reliable help readily available. Recently my hot water tank died and these folks stepped up late in the day to send a representative out to shut off the water and gas so everything was secured and replaced the unit the next day. They have great teamwork, are so respectful and professional. My house is older and I have had other companies not be respectful of me or the house and definitely overcharged me. I will always recommend Ratterman without hesitation to anyone I know. Best service, best prices for me, courtsey and customer respect, professionalism and all round good people.

Had a leaky tub faucet. Had this company come out to fix it. They replaced gaskets and said it was good to go. A few days later, had to call them back because faucet was still leaking. They came out and replaced gaskets again and good to go. It is now 3 weeks later and the faucet is once again leaking. Had another company come out and they are replacing the seats, gaskets and handles as it is an old set of fixtures. I could have saved some money going with the second choice. I have used Dial One before and had pretty good service but unfortunately not this time.

I do not recommend Brandon McAdams or his services. I hired Mr. McAdams in September of this year, and he chose to leave my project in December 2022.
Mr. McAdams is unorganized, has no concept of time management, poor and unprofessional communication, and does not provide quality work. After leaving the project, he refused to share a copy of his insurance, and I learned no permits were pulled because Mr. McAdams holds no license in Plumbing or Electrical. I have had 3 contractors review his work, and learned everything he did will need to be ripped out, and redone. One contractor stated, The plumbing that was installed was not going be good working order. The washer opening was installed too high, the discharge of a washing machine would not catch. The standpipe of the washer drain was too short, the pipe wouldn't take the volume of water, and would have backed up. A tee was installed backwards, and the 2-inch pipe stubbed in the crawl space was falling backwards, this could have led to stoppages. All the water lines were installed on an outside wall, in a room that has no heat currently. This would have led to a pipe freezing, and busting. .
Mr. McAdams also stole materials that I purchased (over $300), and I have since filled criminal charges after his refusal to settle with my attorney. Although Mr. McAdams is not new to the legal system, and has the criminal record to prove it.
I could honestly write a 3 page review explaining the mistakes, and the ways Mr. McAdams took advantage of me, but I find it best to allow the photos of his work to speak for themselves.

In 2019 we had a water line break during the winter. I called a few companies, and daughtery's was quick to respond.
Their website offered free quotes, and I had questioned that over the phone. They were quick to send someone out to assess the situation.
Upon arrival, the job seemed harder then expected too quote, so I was told they would gather the correct personnel and be back out to the site.
Upon second arrival, they had assessed the area for roughly an hour. Gave me my options of either trying to find the leak, or just replace the entire line. I asked for a quote for both options.
A few days passed and I received a detailed quote of what I had asked for. Its been a few years now but i believe we were quoted $120 an hour for labor.I agreed we would just replace the entire line, rather then go through the hassle of trying to find the leak.
I was not home the day they had broken ground. Upon breaking ground at 9am. They found the leak immediately, rather then letting me know they patched the leak and cleaned the area and left.
I received a call around 11am saying the job was finished. I was surprised, they said they just went ahead and patched the line which we didn't agree too, however I was glad the job was finished. Until we got the bill of over $800.
The bill was not itemized and had a very quick due date. We don't let bills go unpaid, so we mailed a check when we got it. I did the math of the 2 hours at the labor rate they quoted us. And couldn't figure out how it was that high of a bill. At that pricing I would have rather had the line replaced as we talked about just to be on the safe side.
After paying the bill, I emailed the guy who got me the quote was generous enough to give me an itemized bill. There I saw where we had paid for the quote and the time it took to send the guys out. Their quote was not even close to what we were charged.
I wrote back confused, and got a response that was less then sub par. Somewhat along the lines of we are a Christian company, we've been in business for over x amount of years. We value our customers. That was the last I ever heard from them.
Just wanted to post this. I will say they did do good work, just didn't stay true to their quote and didn't communicate as I expected them to do. This was also a project done 2 years ago.
