I have had to call upon Charlies Plumbing several times over the years. I chose specifically to support local business, but really lucked out to get a plumber that does a great job no matter how big or small the issue. Mike
is so knowledgeable and is always upfront and honest about your problem.

I'm pretty good with figuring out small plumbing problems in my house. but when I could not get the shower to stop leaking (old house) I was directed to Stemler plumbing in Jeffersonville. I walked in with the stem parts in hand and was immediately greeted by the owner. I told him where it was leaking and within 3 minutes, he had diagnosed the problem, fixed the stem right on the counter, instructed me in how to install it, and only charged me $10!!. Thank you for your help, knowledge and service! So glad there are people like these guys still in business.

Rick did a great job. He was honest and upfront about everything. I could not be more pleased. He was so good we are hiring him back. Definitely recommend him.

2 technicians came out and were super prompt and immediately realized that they didn't service my water heater and kindly provided another company who did and helped me set up an appointment.

Just saw a commercial for Tom Drexler, the customer looked so happy and satisfied... That's a joke. If this company starts a project for you, be sure to please take pictures. First of all, my back yard is a mess! They ripped my side walk out and it took them forever to come fix it. I went to the office and talked to a young lady, she assured me that my side walk would be taken care of. That was just to get me out of her office. I get it... Once I got home she called back and changed her tone. They fixed a portion of it, if you know what I know... DONT choose TOM DREXLER run the other way!!! In the beginning, I was faced with racism and that should have been a red flag. I was told Oh he's just like that, but I know racism when I see it. In the end, straw was thrown all over my yard in order to cover up my broken side walk.

Very disappointed. Had apt from 9-12. Called at 1130am cause they still had not arrived. Office staff said she would call tech. Called me back and said he couldn't make it. They waisted half my morning waiting on them and didn't even call me to tell me he would not be able to make it I had to call them. Bad business. Have never used them and will not use them now. Not even a one star but it made me choose a star.

Pipes froze and burst in the crawl space over christmas holiday. I returned home 12/26/22 and discover the issue. Call right away, soonest appointment was 12/29, which, although frustrating, was understandable because there had just been a big freeze and surely others in the area had similar issues.
12/29 comes and I wait...and wait... and wait. Eventually I call to check and they assure me plumber is still coming and it will likely be around 5pm. I call a 2nd time to make sure that once he gets here he realizes the nature and extent of the issue so that he can actually get it fixed in one go, once again I am assured there is nothing to worry about and he will be coming.
I call again around 4pm to be sure because I still havent heard anything and then I get told that he likely cannot make it today at all. I ask when should I expect him to be able to come, expecting that it would just be the following morning, but the woman on the phone tells me the earliest it can be is now a full week away, 1/5/23. I'm already ~4 days in with no running water, no shower/baths for me or kids, no dishes, no laundry, etc. etc. Been living with gallon jugs of water from Kroger for things that absolutely have to happen.
Basically I'm just frustrated that they told me they could come on 12/29, I set that appointment and then put other remedial measures on hold; I didn't call anyone else, i didn't go to a laundromat, etc etc. all because of the appointment they had for me and kept assuring me was happening, then I get told it will be a whole additional week.
Sooo...I called an HVAC guy I know and trust, he knew a plumber, got an appointment in 2 days for a significantly lower price too. Tom Drexler may be a big name that is easy to find when searching for a plumber, but you're likely better off searching around for someone else so that you dont have your time, money, and life wasted.
All that said, no one was rude to me over the phone or anything, and they were apologetic, but apologies only go so far and at some point you just need to be able to trust people are going to show up and not add an additional week of time for you to be able to bathe your kids.

Had a gas leak around dinner time. Called LG&E and they determined there were two gas leaks. Reynolds did come out that evening, around 7:30, and worked on repairing a gas leak on a pipe in the basement and another one on a stove burner. While the burner needed a part that would not be available until the following morning, they worked on the basement pipe until 9:30 pm. As it was late we told them it was perfectly fine to come back the following day with the part and complete the repair.
The following day they returned around 1:15 with the part, about a $200 piece that needed to be replaced. Finishing up with both repairs around 4:45, the total price for the job - about 5-6 hours over two days - was around $2k. Extremely expensive for a gas line (or any plumbing repairs), probably 2x the price taking into the timing of the job.
They were extremely nice, and did follow up on finding the part for the stove after multiple stores claimed they had it, but in fact did not. While it was nice to have the repairs done quickly, we certainly paid for it.

Showed up on time, did a good job, was efficient and reasonable on price. I would hire again. They have worked at our house 4 or 5 times and did a good job both inside and outside with roots in our pipes.

Our sink in the kitchen was mounted under the granite countertop. It dropped, so I called this business to have it repaired. The plumber came to repair it and he mentioned at least three times that he didn't do that kind of work, but he might as well do something since he was there. He put silicone around half the sink and put support underneath while it dried. He told me to leave the supports under it and not to use the sink for 24 hours. I left it under there for 48 hours. I asked him if this would repair it, He said I hope so. Within two days, I noticed that the sink had dropped down again. I contacted the owner and he stated that he would call me on Monday. I hadn't heard from him, so I decided to reach out to him. He was very condescending and didn't own the bad service I had received. Although, the owner agreed to give me back $60 out of the $144 I paid, I still feel that this was a bad deal considering I explained all parts of my problem before they even came to my house, so if they did not have the skill to do it or or wanted to half-do it then they shouldn't have taken the job.

am writing this review on behalf of a POC friend in hopes youll listen to a white person. The men who entered my friends house (they are black) were calling his family n****** (yes, with the hard R) and BLM c*cksuckers (my friend is gay). To have people that represent your company say such vile things about people in their own home is disgusting. My friends and I will absolutely never give a dime of my money to this company and I hope you take responsibility for your employees. This company is absolutely disgusting.

If I could give zero stars I would. My warranty company assigned them to my house for a non working garbage disposal. I get a call from the tech saying he was on my way to my house at 1:30 pm. By 2:30 pm he still had not shown up and I get a text from Jeff Fosters saying my work order had been transferred at the warranty company. So I tried calling and texting Jeff Foster back as well as the tech that called me. No response. When I called my warranty company they were told the tech went to my house but were told by a lady at the house that they didnt have time and shut the door. So even the tech lied or he went to the wrong address because nobody showed up at my house. We even checked cameras to prove it. But Jeff Fosters has never responded to my many calls and texts for an answer. Zero customer service. Stay away from them!

Parker Plumbing was at my house on Thursday afternoon. Saturday night I had emergency gas crews at my house due to the gas leak caused directly from the plumber not installing a part (thermocouple) properly (did not use tape and tried to cover it with putty). And then on Sunday yet another gas leak from the second part (control valve) he had replaced and again, didn't install properly (no tape again and didn't even try to putty this one) I'm 8 months pregnant and my room is just feet away from the water heater that leaked for 3 days. Not only did we have to evacuate our home until the gas crew could evaluate but I now have the concern for the next 6 weeks of any damage caused to my unborn child. This plumber was very friendly and quick to diagnose and repair. If only he had done it properly and not been lazy, this would have been a very different review.

It's been over a year, but it was a nightmare hiring this company. I hired them to fix a piece if fascia (gutter board) that had come undone from my roof line. They just hammered it back in, bending aluminum all along the fascia. A month later I had to hire a company to fix their job. They also attempted A plumbing job which I was charged over a thousand fir bThey cut holes in the tile, new commode and then left. This was after they no showed me on the job several times. Guess what?? I still had the blockage and had to call a different contractor. Worst experience ever
