Best Water Heater Installation in Long Beach CA

Received prompt professional service from Jeff and Matthew.  They were very courteous, helpful and did a great job.  My issue was pinpointed in minutes.  Although their estimates aren't the lowest but they are doing the job right and installing quality equipment to ensure lasting stability.

We were very happy with the project Ixtapa Construction completed at our home.  After interviewing and getting quotes from several general contractors, they provided a comprehensive detailed quote for the work at a fair price.  What sealed the deal for us in selecting them was meeting Jay and Alex, the principals of the company, and the input they provided for our project.  They provided many great ideas we had not considered and we are very happy with the results.

They were meticulous and all the workers on our project were professional and courteous. The scope of work included essentially a full interior remodel including converting a den into a bedroom and also painting/some repairs of the exterior.  There were no surprises in regards to costs at the end of the project and costs associated with changes as work progressed were clearly communicated to us.

We will definitely contact Ixtapa Construction for any future projects!

So I called on a Saturday (today) around 10:30am, problem was my kitchen sink that was draining slowly and filling up upon using the dishwasher, and during normal usage as well. Hoping to dislodge whatever might've been in there, I tried letting the sink fill enough to plunge it but all it did was bring up a bunch of sludge. The more I tried, the more sludge I got, but the slower the drain too. I mean it would take a good 20 minutes to drain with only 1 of standing, sludgy water.

It occurred to me that although I was apparently loosening something up, after trying that for a couple hours and only bringing more sludge up into the exceedingly slowly draining water, there was no way I was going to deal with the stress and anxiety it was causing me any more. It was obvious it needed some professional assistance.

When I searched yelp for plumbers, they had a little questionnaire I could fill out to be submitted to local plumbers for them to contact me. I was provided four options, all with high ratings, but I went with KNC because I was impressed with not only the fact that they could be out in only a few hours but also the very reasonable price.

In fact, the price quoted was so reasonable that I was worried that there was a service fee that wasn't reflected in the quote, but I was assured that the price quoted was the total cost.

Also, their initial and subsequent response was instantaneous, and all communication was clear and friendly.

They sent a text with the technician's picture and detailing his qualifications, as well as a time frame we agreed upon. Soon after he asked if that time was ok or whether he could come even earlier (1 instead of after 2). Heck yeah!! The sooner the better. Kitchen drain issues are annoying, not to mention obviously stress inducing.

When Kris arrived at 1 he was polite and immediately donned both booties and a mask (I, too, wore my mask of course). I appreciate all efforts to be safe these days. Extra points for that, Kris!

Kris was able to get my issue resolved in little time (I'd say under 30 minutes, but I wasn't watching the clock).

When he went over the bill, which was as quoted, he mentioned that he gave me 20 off that quoted price. I forget the reason but who needs a reason, right? Talk about awesome. I mean, as it is, I am currently house sitting for family while they're away all month and didn't want to burden them with a plumbing issue so I was hoping to just swing it myself without their involvement. So this was just an incredibly positive experience from beginning to end. In fact, the $ saved went to Kris in the form of a well deserved tip.

Please, anyone who needs assistance with plumbing, give these guys a try. I'm in no way affiliated with KNC, never heard of them before 10:30 this morning. I'm so glad I chose them!

**just wanted to add this to my previous review. Last night I had another plumbing issue when my nephew decided to shave his fuzzy face and filled the bathroom drain with his bird's nest. The bathroom backs up to another bathroom, so both drains were affected, plugged them both up for a bit then they started to drain, but slowly.

Because I was so impressed and pleased last time, I of course called Kris again and just like before his response was immediate. We arranged for him to come over this morning first thing, and he was again prompt, courteous, wore booties and a mask, and completed the task very thoroughly (including providing me w quite a few pictures of the job he did, like what came out, what the pipes looked like inside, even a pressure check).

Another thing I have to say is that he left zero mess behind, both times. Also, he explained everything very thoroughly and answered all questions politely and to our satisfaction.

Anyone who owns or even rents a home will eventually require plumbing services, there's no way around it. I'm just really glad I found such an honest and affordable professional to trust to do the work right, and at an unbeatable price. Plumbing problems can be so stressful, but both times Kris handled the jobs so quickly and affordably, it was such a relief. This guy is legit. You won't go wrong by giving him a call.

So I had a huge tree in the middle of my yard a few years ago, little did I know that the roots were still growing and atacking my sewer Main. I had , a get together for my birthday and sure enough I had a major back up, so not the best time for one... I looked around till I came across the most professional company I've ever delt with steven gave me my options and was able to solve my issue for ever, thanks again....

Rick did a fantastic job as always!  We called the office the day my dad's  heater went out and it was repaired the following day. This is a very old wall/floor mounted box heater from the 50's and I was afraid that parts would not be available any longer or just too hard to find. Rick came prepared and had everything necessary to complete the job with him. The heater works like new and my dad is very happy with both the service and the quality of work Rick provided.

We have an 80 year old house, and we are solely on my Teacher's income. Therefore, when the laundry started leaking and the kitchen sink backed up, we feared a very expensive and unobtainable fix. We finally decided to start getting estimates, so I was online and on the phone for an entire day, trying to find someone who could do a really extensive job and at a price that we could actually afford. Jesse was the only one who said that he would be over right away that evening, which he was. He did everything to attempt to unclog our drains, and once he realized that our pipes were actually corroded beyond repair, he quoted a fair price, so my husband and I decided to go with Fast Pro Plumbing without hearing the other quotes. Jesse struck us as kind and caring immediately, so we just had a feeling to go with him, and I am so glad that we did. I found Jesse via facebook and yelp reviews, and I feel lucky. They came early and stayed late, fixing a problem that was actually much worse than originally thought. (Who cements a driveway over pipes that can corrode? Apparently the builders of this neighborhood!) We were starting to panic at the potential price, as our driveway was jackhammered, but we had nothing to fear; despite their all day stay and the crazy amount of work that was accomplished, the price went up just a little. I have a functional kitchen, laundry, and garage sink now, which I haven't had in a month. We can't thank you enough, and we plan on using Fast Pro Plumbing for all of our future needs. I had an excellent experience with Graham Plumbing and their technician Julio.  I called in response to and add the published for a drain cleaning special with camera inspection.  Julio did just that in a professional manner.  He found our problem and included a basic cabling in the quoted price.  he also recommended a more involved hydro jetting to get rid of the remaining roots, but I was not ready for this additional expense at this time.  They were true to their word and stuck to the advertised price of the Drain cleaning special and got me back up and running.  I know for a long term solution, it will need more work, but I appreciated that they were not insistent on upselling me on the service at this time.  I was very pleased with his professionalism and expertise and I would definitely use them again for my plumbing needs.  Highly recommended.

Mikes plumbing, you guys are awesome! My bath tub was clogged and would slowly drain, but thanks to the knowledge and expertise of Mike and his son, my drain was fixed in no time. He even did a courtesy check on the rest of my system and advised me what I can do to better my home plumbing. Not to mention the price, after shopping around they where the most economical choice! A friend of ours recommended Harry's Plumbing. I spoke to Jeff and he was very professional. We scheduled for him to come out and we had a leak along with a crack in another section of the pipe. Jeff assessed the problem and told us that his company wasn't able to do it however he gave us a list of other plumbing companies that can. He was professional and took the time to explain everything to us. You want honesty - Jeff is your guy.

HVAC Technician Michael was great! He assessed the issue and found the solution pretty quickly. Turns out all I needed was for the coils to be cleaned. He had me up and running under 30 minutes.

Promptly returned calls, communicates in a manner in which I totally understood what was wrong, and showed up on time. I will recommend this company to everyone I know who thinks they have a leak!

I had to have an emergency water heater replacement today and Gorusch was able to send someone out less than 12 hours after I called.  Originally I called at 10 PM last night and they told me to turn off the water to the heater so I could wait until morning to replace it and avoid a major surcharge for after hours work.

Everything went well, the installer was friendly and got it done in about 2.5 hours.  

The only downside of my experience was that the first guy left a huge mess outside in the walkways of my condo.   It was a shared space so it didn't take long for the other residents to call and complain.  I called the main line and within 90 minutes someone (Leo) came out and spent 30 minutes cleaning the entire floor.   He didn't charge and was willing to come out after 8 PM on a Friday to fix it.  He was very friendly and communicative and updated me regularly from when I called to when he arrived.   He was excellent!!!
