Plumbers are never cheap. Service One is no exception to that. They charge $85 an hour plus materials. But if you can't get cheap, you definitely want fast because that keeps the hours from getting out of hand. The plumber came out and was fast and efficient. He had the job done in less than an hour, and while I was still out a Franklin, it wasn't several Franklins.

This was the first time I had ever used Yelp's service for finding a business. It was super easy. I just entered the problem I was having, and three plumbing services were notified. Service One got back with me that night, within about a hour of my submission. Two other plumbing businesses contacted me the next morning. I went with Service One because they were so quick to get back with me, and I like businesses that respond quickly. Rates between the three were all pretty close, although Service One had the other two beaten by a small margin.

I really liked the plumber, Steve. I explained to him the problem, he immediately told me two possible solutions, and got to work. Luckily, the issue was a quick one to fix, and he had the job done in around a half an hour. He even explained to me a possible solution and cost to a separate issue I was having that did not immediately need to be resolved.

Billing is a little different with Service One. You don't pay the plumber. A bill shows up in the mail a day or two after the service. It's a little strange, as you don't know the exact charge until you get the bill after the fact, but was a minor issue to me. I would definitely use them again.

Stay away.  I have a geothermal installed by this company.  I have a service contract and they have the worst service in the world.  They have 1 guy working all of Kentucky this Sunday.  They said they might call me back to schedule something on Monday, but don't count on them being out for n Monday either.  The guy has back to back calls till midnight and doesn't care if you get serviced or not.  Their service is worthless and they can't service what they have sold let alone do more work.  Get a service plan from anywhere else and don't use these guys.... ever.

We were in a real jam.  Our air conditioner went out yesterday and we were supposed to watch our 3 month old grandson.  We couldn't do that in 90 degree temperatures outside and even hotter inside.  Our warranty company set All in One to help us, and I'm so glad they did.  Melvin diagnosed the problem and Rob gave us a great deal.  Melvin and his son put the new unit in today in less than 4 hours!!  So tonight, our grandson is sleeping comfortably in his bed and so are we.  Thanks All in One for a great job!!  Susan Sparks

Great customer service.  I've worked with Green Box on two separate issues and both times have been pleased.  The 1st experience - the blower in my heating unit went out during Thanksgiving 2013 around the time it was blistering cold. Thinking no one would help during the holidays, I had a friend recommend Green Box.  They were at my doorstep in no time and fixed the problem.  The older gentleman was excellent, informative, and did the job right away. He had to make a few trips to get the right unit installed, but I had heat back in less than 2 hours and couldn't thank him (and Green Box) enough.  The 2nd experience - just this month I had some issues with an attic fan.  I called Green Box right away and had someone come out. Unfortunately the problem couldn't be solved, and they mistakenly billed me for a diagnostic ($89.00).  Robert was the tech who arrived and told me he wouldn't bill me because nothing was diagnosed and he wasn't the right person for the job. I called Green Box and explained the situation, and they immediately removed the charge and assured no action was needed on my part.  Clarissa was the staff member who helped me through that - very friendly and responsive.  Overall, Green Box is very customer oriented and will make sure you're treated fairly. Their pricing may seem high, but it's the experience and speedy efficiency they provide that make up the difference.  Some people will opt to go out and try to fix things themselves, but I'm not one to mess with heavy duty equipment and risk making things worse. I choose to let someone with more skill do that. I feel I've save money, liability, and headache in the long run.
