I wish I chose Darren sooner. He is reasonably priced, reliable, on-time and very thorough with his evaluation. I'm confident that the work he completed will resolve my issue. He offered insight on pool maintenance that no other company has given me before.

What made my situation more complex was that I had COVID during the evaluation. Darren's professionalism shined through as he made sure I understood what he was doing even from a significant distance.

Michael, had to remove all the tile & cement board that was used by the installer that had just completed laying
About 500 sq.ft.of tile. The tile work that Michael laid was so professional looking, the tile was uniform and level,
Grout lines were straight, and spacing was uniform throughout the whole 500 sq.ft. Base broads were cut so it looked like one continuous broad. Caulking was done with no overage. Our family was so impressed with the finished results. We are definitely going to use him again and recommend his company.

I had somebody come out and look at the work that needs to be done.  He said he would send me an estimate via e-mail and at that time I would need send him $75 for the estimate. That was last week and I haven't heard from him again.

Super happy I went with Bakersfield Pool & Equipment. They did an amazing job with the tile and plaster for the pool and spa. They installed all new equipment (Pentair VS Pump, Pentair 420 filter, Pentair 5G LED color lights for both pool/spa), and a skimmer.

I had 5 estimates for the pool and equipment from various companies in town. BPE has the best prices when it comes to pool in town. All of guys who came to do work on the pool and equipment educated me along the way if Michael wasn't here on do's and don'ts.

I highly recommend them. I'll have them back out when I'm ready to install a heater and salt system.

Had to install dining room chandelier.  He was able to center the light, patch up existing drywall damage, and match the ceiling color perfectly.

Richard came out in less than one hour to repair drywall in our home. He was professional and his rates were very reasonable. He even noticed an issue with our front door and fixed it on the spot without additional charge. We will definitely be using his services again. Highly recommend!

I was impressed at first when Frank Jr. came out and took a look at our roof. Materials, photos, his responses all made sense. The roof needed to be repaired and obviously had two roof layers from previous roofing jobs. So the estimate came in and only included (1) layer to be removed. Makes no sense and his excuse was he does not charge until he knows for sure there are 2 layers but from many locations around all the edges to open spots there are in fact 2 layers. But the catch is (once they start and you've already signed to agree to the job) they then add $600 bucks to the job for the second layer. This is in a way fraud to get a lower estimate which later they can change. I find this underhanded, wrong and dishonest. I had 2 other roofers come out who did not play the same game. Both made it clear there were 2 layers of roof already in place. I don't buy the We had a conversation about this while I was there. This is why things are in writing. So Beware the low estimate you get from these guys may be just a way to get you to buy in later to find out they're much more expensive.

If you need any work done on your home, EHS & Sons are the people to call! They are very professional, fairly priced, and provide high quality service. My husband and I recently bought our first home, and we were a little overwhelmed with all the updating and projects that we needed done. After a few bids, we went with EHS & Sons for their great pricing and wonderful customer service. After a free estimate, they provided us an invoice before they started any work that outlined everything in detail.  This made sure everyone was on the same page. They laid kitchen and bathroom tile in two different tiles and grout colors. It looks AMAZING! Ernie was also very accommodating when I decided at the last minute I wanted two new handrails for the stairs. I couldn't find the natural wood color I wanted from Home Depot or Lowes. He went out of his way to find me the materials himself and even asked my preference of pine or oak! They also installed tall baseboards throughout my first floor with rounded corners to match my rounded walls. It looks so great! I can't wait to host a housewarming party and show off our newly updated house! We will DEFINITELY have EHS & Sons come back to do more work for us in the future! The entire process was very easy and they even let me pay with Zelle and Venmo, since we don't own checks. I would give 10 stars if I could!
