Really came in a pinch. Had an emergency leak from a shower and our usual guys couldn't make it.  Called the Plumbing Doctor and they managed to come in within the next few hours. Was super polite to my mom and explained to her the issues and his recommendations.

Glad to know we have another company we can call if we need help with plumbing issues!

this company is very excellent.  never had a company that did the job efficiently without me telling them about what to do. I'm very pleased. I'm calling this company and getting my septic tank's done with them. They're very affordable and fast on their job, they got the job done quick and efficiently and finally we got a running toilet couldn't be more pleased on how excellent this company did the job. I am so going to be calling them for my plumbing.

Not much worse than a broken, leaking toilet before guests arrive.  I had a lot of trouble calling around to find a local plumber until I tried getting quotes thru Yelp.  Mark replied immediately and asked very relevant questions to prepare his estimate for exactly what I wanted.  His bid was completely fair, he arrived on time with everything needed for the job, worked efficiently, and cleaned up everything.  I was very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge, friendly attitude and willingness to provide the new toilet and drive up here the next day.  Excellent.

We had the pleasure of working with Tony on a complete repiping of our plumbing on our home. We went from copper to pex and he was complete in three days, that also included a new water heater and valves to our showers. Did I mention fixing a small leak on our main valve? He showed up on time was extremely professional and tended to every question we had. We are grateful that AEQ was able to complete our project on time. I called everyone in Bakersfield to help me with my new home purchase and they showed up on time, very professional, great pricing and were able to help me with my small and larger projects. They are now an big part of my landlord team and I feel thankful to have found them. They came by quick to clean out a clogged drain and coming later to help with my bath handle. Mauricio was a great handyman and I would recommend him to anyone! He was able to come out the next day to fix a leaky shower, unclog a sink drain, and repair some drywall. He was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He gave us the most reasonable estimate of anyone we called, and we will be using him again in the future for installation of a dishwasher as well as some electrical work in the garage.

Unorganized, unprofessional. Make sure to check your invoices before you pay as they will try to overcharge you. They'll call late hours, 3/4x till you answer. If not they'll call you from a different number to collect payment in which I authorized them to charge.

Kitchen sink was backed he arrived on time and took care of the problem. Extremely professional and caring about the work he performed. Will definitely use him if we ever encounter a plumbing problem.

I recently called this company to help my mother with stopped up plumbing. I was told 2 prices on the phone for the specific job to be done.  Expecting to pay the higher price for what the job entailed, they charged my mother 50% more than the higher amount. I questioned the charge and was told don't worry, I'm not trying to get you. I told him I was questioning the charge being different than what I was quoted on the phone and because mom is on a fixed budget and I need to keep an eye on things for her. I called their office the next day, on a Friday, and was told I would get a call back Monday. Not hearing anything back I called them. They had not looked into it yet. I asked for the boss to call me back, that didn't happen, the lady in the office called me back. When I got a call back I was told that they were charging her for the hour it took (which included 10 minutes for writing up the invoice), and half an hour for drive time. I was not told about this drive time before hand. The service man said he started the drive time 15 minutes before he got there, yet he charge a half an hour of time. I was told he didn't charge for gas, tools, the time it took him to get to his next stop... really ?... I would warn anyone to be sure you get a written estimate before you agree to anything and before you hire this company, If they will take advantage of an elderly lady on a fixed income, what else might they do.

Had an issue with my water heater thermostat and a leaking line. Came out and fixed the issues on time and everything is running great now.

Called Sunday morning and they seemed like a nice mom-and-pop plumbing company working from their home. Monday I get a phone call saying he is going to check out the plumbing for the shower. He calls me back 2 minutes later saying he has to go under the house and what the bill cost is. The valve for the shower is no good either. Parts will be about $200 and labor will be about $1200.  For a couple hours of labor. A total of $1385. He said that he isn't going under a house for less than $1300. $600 an hour is overinflated when hourly rates for plumbers are $75-85. He said he won deal with people feces for less than $1300. He has to hire a person to help him and going to be messy. On top of that he was unprofessional over the phone.  As a plumber it is part of the job to deal with water, sewage, pipe rot, whatever issues may be. The cost of a job is determined by the time and materials for it. Not because one would have to go under a house to replace a pea trap. I will never call this company nor recommend this company to anyone.

I sent out a request for quotes to multiple handymen via Yelp and everyone either said they were booked or charged an excessive amount. Kevin replied back and said he could get it done that day or the next morning at a very reasonably, fair price.

We originally hired Kevin for helping us mount our 50 TV in our bedroom as we did not have the right bit for the nails for our specific mount nor did we have a stud finder. We ended up last minute also asking if he can mount mirrors around the house.

This is where he went above and beyond with the quality service, one of the mirrors my father had was manufactured to be mounted up horizontally and we wanted up vertically.
At first, maybe I thought he was not able to do it because of the original manufactured bolts on the back of mirror, but he was quick to brainstorm that mini project and told me he can make that happen!
He educated and showed me how he was able to do it, and even made sure to secure it (mirror is heavyweight).

He also is licensed to do plumbing services! He's an all -around handyman, and from now on our family will be using his services. Thank you Kevin, we appreciate you!

Called Carroll Plumbing, guy showed up, when he said he would and called to let me know he was on his way. Unclogged drain, and then cleaned up mess and left.

Bo was our plumber and was incredible. We had a pretty complicated shower replacement problem and he tackled it with gusto and was very attentive to my numerous texts and communications for weeks until the job was complete. He went above and beyond and provided great customer service and technical know-how, putting my mind at ease. I will be calling on him for future plumbing needs.

They sent a completely inexperienced plumber who openly admitted that he was learning as he was going (his name is Robert Guitierrez), and admitted that the only reason it took him three hours to replace a P-trap is because he was constantly making mistakes.
So, we paid $650 to install a P-trap and clear three drains.
He cleared two, and couldn't figure out how to clear the third. So he called his manager who promised to come out on 8/10/2020 to see what the problem was. Mr. Guiterrez then promised me that they would call on 8/10/2020 to set up an appointment time, and that the call-out fee would be waived.
No one called, no one came.
So, not only does this company employ completely inexpert wannabes who play at being plumber, they won't keep their word unless there's money involved.
I do not recommend this company unless you're comfortable having newbies practicing on your plumbing.

Payless Plumbing showed exceptional service. I had to replace my moms water heater & had some issues about it with family. Someone said I couldn't replace it without getting a permit. Well I reached out to Payless Plumbing Thursday. They explained everything came out & installed it today. Turns out the water heater was not up to code so he ran  pipe to outside & still stayed in my install budget. The technician that came out was very professional, very sincere & knew what he was talking about. Five Star most definitely

Buyer beware!!!!!  Smile in your face and rob you for your money. I have 3 disabledpeople in my home and my tank less water heater went out. The gentleman told me the lowest he could do it was for $4000. Being that I needed hot water for my 2 children I trusted what he was saying. I found out 2 days later that they overcharged me by $1500 over any other company for the same exact work. It's really sad that people feel that it's OK to rob people like that and stead of try to get repeat customers. I've loved multiple messages for the owners or at least a manager of a call me and  Obviously I'm not important enough to get a return  Phone call. I just think it's pretty disgusting $1500 is a lot of money for a lot of people and the fact that you can gouge people that badly should say something about your company or a head lease or sells people that come out and do the work.
