They've relocated a garbage disposal, added an air switch to it, fixed a leaking hose bib, repaired a shower, and installed a pressure reducing valve. I highly recommend Mainline Services to anyone needing a mainline scope or 2nd opinion of the state of their underground plumbing. I had my main line back up a few nights ago.  Water seeped into finished areas and ruined some carpet and boxes in storage. It was around 9pm at night when we noticed so when we called the next morning we took whomever could get to us earliest. What a mistake. If only I knew at that time about Mainline Services, I would have saved money and slept better. The first company came out and after running water for 10 minutes and no backup we concluded that the most likely culprit were some wipes that were flushed the night before as we have a child potty training. Note to anyone, those advertised flushable wipes are not disposable. We went ahead and snaked the line to be sure and he had trouble getting it through, so we called in a scope. After the scope, they tried to tell me that I needed to irrigate to jet out the build up to the tune of $5800, which later was bargained down to an even 4k. Um, no. So we called in Mainline for a 2nd opinion. Robert showed up promptly for the appointment and walked me thru a lot of the video scope and advised that if there had been anything with an issue, it was gone and needed nothing except routine cleaning/maintenance. His detail and explanations made me feel confident that he knew what he was talking about and that he wasn't trying to sell me on something. 5 stars to Robert and to Mainline for having genuine and knowledgable teammates! Not only did your assurance save me $4000 but I can sleep better at night knowing I don't have to worry about sewage seeping back up into my house.

Our main drain flooded our basement with sewage over night and I called Juan the next morning. He was able to send his brother, Christian, over within an hour and quickly turned a disaster around so we could use our toilets normally again. Christian was very clean, polite, and friendly (even to our two barking dogs).

We had Nate replace to shower heads and knobs. He also replaced our very old rusty water heater! Fit us it right away and stayed late to finish the job. Very thorough and informative. We were so impressed we signed up for his maintenance program for our hot water heater. Highly recommend! Reasonable prices!

They spent a long time figuring out my issue. Ryan was very knowledgeable and patient. Did it all at a reasonable price too.

I called them because we had a leak from our bathroom. The dispatcher said someone will come out in an hour but no one showed up! No call back until the next day which is absolutely unacceptable when you are dealing with an urgent situation. They finally came out the next day and assessed the problem and quoted me an outrageous estimate for the job. So I called a few other plumbers and their estimate was a LOT cheaper -- I'm talking about one fourth of what they quoted. I will not be using them again in the future.

I used Jacob to add an extension off of the main gas line for a new gas range that was replacing an electric range.

Jacob and his office were prompt and courteous in responding to the initial inquiry and scheduling an estimate.  Jacob showed on time for the estimate and carefully measured and explained the size requirements for gas lines and what the options would be.  He gathered all of the BTU information from existing units and from the manufacturers web site for the new range.

Upon scheduling the work he honored the appointment time and finished within the window and in accordance with the written estimate he had previously provided.

I would not hesitate to recommend or seek use his company again for gas or plumbing needs.  He is a pro in every aspect of his work and maintains a clean work location.

He is very responsive and timely, good advice on me picking up a replacement sink faucet and I love it. Everything he touches works better and we have had him come to fix a couple things.  He came out in 20 minutes when we discovered a leak under the house when we got home from vacation. I was in an absolute bind and emergency this week. Luckily I found TCF via Yelp. I found Thomas, who was able to get to my house the same night. He was efficient and very polite. Highly recommended if you need emergency help!!

Great guys.  Did a thorough job and their price is very fair and affordable.  They also got me in fast from the first time I met them to when they finished the job.  I don't think I could have found anyone better

I called Rooter Town out on a Sunday pm due to a backed up main line and were able to send someone out relatively quickly which I appreciated. The price on the website was $95. But like others have said, that's not what they charged me. First there was $150 charge to remove and re-set the toilet which is a total of about 20 minutes of time to do both. Since we had another bathroom that was behind the one he was working, the guy, Chris, insisted that he needed to pull both toilets or risk breaking the one in the other bathroom. Now we are looking at $395 - except that I said, no, no other company has ever had to do that in the past 14 years. So I had to sign a waiver saying that if he broke the toilet they weren't responsible. After snaking the line he tells me he can't get all the way through and they will have to come out the next day and camera the line and that the pipes were offset meaning the clay pipes had shifted making them harder to clean. Chris said, we could use the toilet but it would definitely get clogged up again soon. Again, this is very similar to other accounts I have read on Yelp so I don't think it's a coincidence.

The next day, I called my regular guy (who hadn't been available) and he came out and cleaned the drain no problem for a total of $160. At my request, he also inspected the line with his camera (or camera'd) just to be sure there were no other issues. No pipes were offset, the only problem were the roots that the first guy didn't remove.

I am giving Rooter Town 2 stars because, when I called and spoke to a supervisor the day after my plumber fixed the problem he did the right thing and reimbursed me for the entire charge. So I give them credit for returning my money but either their tech was incompetent or it was part of a scam to get us to pay more. Either way not ideal. And since others have reported similar issues, I am inclined to think it was the latter.

Justin did a great job installing a new toilet and disposing of the old one, and he was cheaper than Home Depot's preferred contractor to install their toilets

This was for a clogged drain that needed rooting.  Tech arrived on time as indicated, inspected and did the work in a timely manner, was courteous and professional.  We would use Spartan again.

Owner is great Stand up guy. We had a plumbing issue that was getting out of hand and the owner cane to save the day!

Scott at Royal Plumbing and Heating is the best--don't shop around, just call Scott.  Our air conditioning unit (3,100 square foot house) was having issues--line was freezing after a few hours of operation and then the unit would blow warm air.  We had actually had another company come and check the unit about a month prior...turns out they didn't actually do anything, and failed to run the proper tests that would have shown the unit was failing.  When the issue presented itself, we called the prior company back out and after about 10 minutes of looking at the unit they told us it was the compressor, and that the poor performance was because it was sitting in the sun, and having problems kicking on. They sold us a hard start for $250.  The issues continued. We called a different company and after about a 10 minute evaluation, the tech said it looked like we were losing coolant, but wanted $2,500 to actually diagnose the problem and run tests, and find the coolant leak. He wouldn't even guarantee he would find the leak for that price.

On a whim, we called Scott because a friend had a good experience with him.  Scott came out the same morning, whereas the other places had made us wait days before being able to look at the unit.  He assessed the situation and spent about 90 minutes diagnosing the problem with the unit.  He actually tried to find the coolant leak during that initial consult.  He only asked $29 for the initial evaluation.  Scott was willing to take the project on for less than half the $ that the other place wanted.  He ended up having to replace the A coil--which was under warranty.  Scott was knowledgeable, honest, efficient, and genuinely cared about getting things done correctly.  He helped us out immensely--I have two little kids and my husband travels for work quite a bit, and we were going a bit crazy in a 90 degree house.  Call Scott, he will help you out.

Jason arrived within the window of time represented. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional and got the repair completed quickly. He tested his work to make sure there were no remaining issues and even provided a recommendation for services he could not provide that we needed. Definitely recommend.

Pros: quick response, friendly receptionist and techs, responded to my frustration by reducing the price twice since there was no complete fix.

Cons: main fix way overpriced (3x another bid) and wasted my day of the office with no plumbing resolution.

They completed half the job I hired them for, then refused to come back and finish the job until I paid $500 for 45 minutes of work. I wouldn't have balked if they hadn't led me on for a month about they will be back out on Monday to finish the job.
