Denise's friendly voice whenever I call is so caring and helpful.  The plumbers themselves are professional, yet friendly, and so patient in explaining what they are doing and in answering my questions.

TLC did a fantastic job with our projects.  They did a full kitchen makeover with touchups in the bathrooms that were semi-major.  The work was flawless and their attention to detail was amazing.  They never left until the job was done to our satisfaction.  I highly recommend Luis and his team and would definitely hire them again to do anything to our home.

Great service/craftsmanship and I've used them for the last 6 years because of this!  I've had them work on our commercial and my personal properties.  Definitely recommend!

Requested a quote 6/12/22.  The voicemail said they were out of office until 6/19/22, which I noted and was okay with.  Today is 6/27/22 and have still not heard back.  If you don't want the job consider calling potential clients back and tell them you decline, rather than leaving them waiting on your call.

I was looking for help with a clogged drain. SNBC responded extremely quick (pleasantly surprised to get a response very early morning when I called) they were very straight forward with pricing. We scheduled the work for later that same day. Scott showed up on time, asked a few questions regarding the issue, explained what he was planning on doing and resolved the issue.

Okay, because of positive reviews, I left message on web site. Wait 24 hours, no response. So I call. I tell her I tried to contact them through web. Lady starts talking about somebody with feet up on table and things not being done, blah blah. Sounds like a nice lady, but have no confidence in their business. Said thank you and hung up. Called another plumbing company.

During the Texas winter fiasco, we had a busted water pipe. I called several plumbers but all were already booked until the following week. Plumbing 101 of DFW answered my call, said they could come over the next day and give me an estimate. That day they identified the problem and fixed it. We are grateful they could come out as quickly as they did. They were very professional and courteous despite the volume of calls they were receiving and late evenings they were working. Thank you!

We called Tierney to fix our garbage disposal, a running toilet, a bathroom that had a slight / barely noticeable leak in the faucet, our outdoor water spicket, and a leak in our shower which they fixed previously (so basically their previous fix DID NOT WORK).  Only the garbage disposal was fully fixed but the other items I was not impressed with.  This is what they left us with along with almost a $1,000 bill:

1) Running toilet - The guy broke off a piece of a piece of the toilet porcelain resulting in us having to buy a $200 NEW TOILET.  While he was fixing it, he even said out loud I broke the toilet! They only waived a portion of the travel fee and only offered to waive this small fee after my husband called the owner to inform them of what had happened.  The plumber was defensive towards me after his boss called him to ask what had happened.

2) Small leak in bathroom faucet - leak was not fixed and the plumber made it worse. Guy said he had to order cartridges or whatever. He tried to leave the faucet in its original state (before he touched anything) and the faucet started to leak even more and was therefore not usable. Not sure how much we had to pay for him to break it.  My father in law ended up coming over to fix what the plumber was unable to fix.

3) Outdoor water spicket - he took out several bricks, exposing our insulation, to fix this. Now we have to fix someone to fix our bricks.  Just more $$$$ to spend to fix what this guy fixed.

4) Shower leak - as I mentioned, they had previously fixed this but there was still a leak. Basically their previous fix did not work.

One piece of advice for the company: Please take off your shoes or wear shoe covers before you walk all over the house.  He originally took off his shoes. Then I noticed later on he had them on. Geezus - it's disgusting so be considerate of people's homes!!!

The bad weather caused havoc. Had a burst pipe and had to shut the main water line. Contacted several companies thru Yelp and given the high demand was skeptical about a timely response.

Jason from ABC plumbing replied and committed to sending someone the next day.  Got a call from Steve this morning and he confirmed that he was on his way.

Steve arrived, examined the area and determined the problem really quick. The pipe was located in a tricky spot and Steve was efficient in fixing the problem. He was friendly and literally saved the day!

With several homes and establishments in North Texas impacted, I am grateful that ABC plumbing was able to help me in a timely manner.

I have their number saved for my future plumbing needs. Needless to say, have shared their contact with friends who are impacted as well.

Called this company out to unclog the sewer line. Within a matter of days had to call them out again due to the line being clogged. This should have been considered to be under the warranty from the previous call. Of course, it was not covered. So, I was gouged for more money. The technician was unprofessional and rude. Certainly will not call them back. Totally horrible experience.

Please do not use A #1 Air. They might be friendly but I am seriously doubting their competence with regards to proper AC repair that doesn't end up costing you way more than needed.

I have had them out twice in the last 6 months. During the winter they replaced a panel board for $750 to get my furnace up and running. They also informed me that my damper unit was broken and would cost $1,300 to repair. I passed on the damper unit at the time.

This past Monday they came out to look at my malfunctioning AC. They diagnosed a faulty capacitor (cost $300 to repair) and that my condenser was not triangulating properly. They said they could do a quick fix and just replace the capacitor but were confident the compressor would fail this summer. Their solution was to replace the entire condenser unit. And highly suggested replacing the entire HVAC system. Including the repair of the broken damper, total cost would run anywhere from $5,500 to $9,800.

Deciding to get a second opinion, the other service company instantly spotted a freon leak on the condenser unit (the freon cap was not on but rather sitting to the side of the unit). Something A#1 Air either didn't notice, didn't think to alert me of, or caused themselves. The 2nd opinion also diagnosed an issue with the capacitor but said the compressor was running close to the manufacturer range. He also took a look at the broken damper and noticed that the dampers were working fine and there was just a massive hole in my duct work that was fairly obvious to anyone looking. His fix was a booster for the capacitor ($90), some new freon ($40), and some tape for the duct work.  Total cost with labor: $227.

A#1 Air might do great actual work when it comes to repairing AC units. Everybody I dealt with was friendly and professional. They showed up on time and even had availability on the day I called. But when they send out their closer for the high dollar items, it just feels like a pressure job to go with the most expensive solution. Their replacement cost for the condenser was easily way over $1,000 alone based on my 2nd opinion quote.

Bottom line: Be very wary about their recommended solutions. Expect their costs to heavily inflated. And take any issue they find with a grain of salt.

Our heat went out today and when we called our landlord she found this company and within 30 minutes of her calling they were at the house and giving us options for fixing the heat. Great customer service. Super friendly employee!

I honestly cannot say enough amazing things about American Leak Detection of Dallas. They were recommended to us from USAA to help with a slab leak in our home. Over the next several weeks, Marcus and his team, arrived on time, worked extremely hard and explained the process to me in a clear and kind way. Given that we were living in a construction zone with holes in our floor and tunnels under our house and a toddler running around, they worked so hard to get everything completed quickly and really took time to clean up every day. If you are looking for an honest company with a team of people who really care, I highly recommend American Leak Detection of Dallas.

I called scout Plumbing through our home warranty.  Our water bib outside had a leak. The tech (Seth) was very polite, easy to talk to, professional, and did the job quickly. I had to pay an additional $375 out of pocket because he had to break two halves of a brick to remove the water line (not covered by warranty).
Next day, I called the company and addressed my concern about what I was charged.  Our previous phone quote to remove bricks was less than $375. They were very quick to reply back to me, and offered a partial refund.  
I was very happy with their service, especially their customer support. Lydia and Diane were both very helpful, friendly, and professional.

If I could give them 0 stars, I WOULD!! Sunny came to our home a little over a week ago to service our air conditioner. A few days later, our AC unit started leaking and rattling. We have been trying to contact them ever since and all we have been getting is the run around. We've only spoken to them twice and they promised to have someone come out, but no one ever shows up. Now, they are not returning our phone calls. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! We used them based on the good reviews we saw, but unfortunately, are having a very BAD experience with them! I will NEVER use them for anymore AC work, and will tell everyone I know not to also. We are also seriously considering taking legal action!!
