Best Water Heater Repair in Irvine CA

We don't do condos. Weird experience, filled out the form last night and called today to follow up. They refused to work on my sink because it's in a condominium building. Even though the job would be indoors, on one sink in my personal unit, they will not do condo units. Said they had changed their policy.  Why is that not on the website?

MC Construction did a great job of replacing my old roof with a new energy efficient plywood & tile.  They added a few more vents and also replaced some weathered fascia boards. I want to thank Josh K. for being flexible & working with me to stay in my budget!  I would hire them again!  Possible new bathrooms in the future!

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

I had called Service Champions because of the continuous marketing campaign of letters they send to my house so I thought I would give them a try. The technician was very nice and seemed knowledgeable. However, just like most of the other reviews the story is the same. He told me my system was old and should be replaced instead of repaired. If I wanted to repair it, the part would be $900 and that may not solve the entire issue but if I signed up for their monthly maintenance service fee ($17/mo) , the cost would only be $850.

He used all kinds of tactics to convince me that I should replace; said they have a special right now, that the state of CA no longer makes the freon for my unit, and  rebates have ended but his company will pay the new State inspection fees of up to $600 as long as they have the units in stock and there are only 2 left.

I got a second opinion from another company and they told me my unit was old but in great condition and did not deed to be replaced. He said for $350 he could get the part and have it installed in less than an hour. I asked him about the freon and he said the state is making it through 2020.

Bottom line, they tried to take advantage of me and were not honest. Seemed like their company culture is to push service maintenance fees and sell you a new unit and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Judging by their photos, and testimonials, I'm sure they do fine work. They are just way too expensive for me.

I called for a free estimate. Plumber (Cory) came 2 days later (on a Friday: 8/20/21) at the time stated. Ok, so far so good. Was there a little under 1 minute looking at problem and left. After I called them on Monday at 45 minutes to closing time, asking for my estimate, they finally emailed it to me.

Now I am not a licensed plumber, but do possess rudimentary common sense regarding home repairs and degrees of complexity. I also realize running a business with assorted overheads, costs money. And of course, the business does need to make a profit. I fully understand all this.

When I saw the quote of $850 for about maximum 1 hours work, keeping in mind the above, I was shocked.

Now if your reading this, all work involved exposed piping in my back yard. If they were to go under the house, to remove additional piping ( I have a raised foundation) it would have been $1,550.00. A little more involved but not necessary in this case.

One part of the exposed pipe was rusted and leaking. The work entailed cutting off old pipe, and install PVC piping and elbows, shortening the areas the water was flowing to since the old pipes could just be cut off and removed. See the before and after photos. I even dug up the areas involved (actually my good neighbor did).

So I ask you (and I hope other plumbers are reading this), is $850 a reasonable amount to charge for 1 hour or less work? What would you have charged?  Needless to say, I feel I was being absolutely overcharged.

Incidentally, the after pictures of the completed work, was done by my neighbor. It took $30.46 in parts and a generous cash payment for his time and effort by a very grateful neighbor - me! Thank you Dan!

I have never called these folks before but feel I was being taken advantage of. Seriously, an estimated $800 for an hours worth of labor, excluding say $50 for the parts? Seems excessive and will avoid them. Look forward to your honest comments, especially from the owner. Thank you. Just being honest.

Bob is great! We have used him three times now, for different plumbing issues. He shows up on time, explains the problem and diagnosis clearly, and quotes reasonable prices. He is very knowledgeable (Bob's also a licensed contractor) and works very diligently. I highly recommend Bob for any plumbing or contracting needs.

MIke Rice, the owner of this business, is the best plumber ever.  I call him the Yoda of Plumbing.  He holds both residential and commercial plumbing licenses and is prompt, honest, and knows his stuff.  I have been using him for years and can't say enough good things.  If you can't be home, he will come in, fix the problem, and send you a bill.  Anything he fixes stays fixed.  He doesn't employ any technicians so he is always the one to come.  I recommend him highly.

Although not inexpensive, he does a good and reliable job. We've used him quite a few times, and have always been satisfied with his work.

I am a real  estate agent that manages several  properties in the South  Pasadena area.  My usual plumber has to come a long ways in order to service the properties in  this area.  One of the  tenants  had an  emergency and requested service immediately.  I contacted Pipe Brothers and received immediate appointment for the same day.  I thought they would charge more for the immediate service, but  when Titus showed up at the property, he called me to explain what he found, charged  a normal service fee and fixed the problem.

I  will  be using Pipe Brothers for all  my  properties that I manage in this area from now on.  I give them my highest recommendations.

Excellent repair of wall around new windows.  Contractor Steve Panek was clean, efficient, friendly and paid attention to every detail we mentioned.  He came on a Saturday as promised.  He fixed spots with missing insulation and thoroughly chalked before screwing in wallboard.  The finished area matches the rest of the room perfectly.  The work areas were left clean.  We're delighted.

We had a leak under the house and sent a request for estimate through Yelp. Frank from FV got back to me right away (on a Sunday). Richard came out Monday morning to address the leak. He took pictures and showed us exactly what was happening and gave us a couple of options to fix the pipe, both seemed like fair prices. We gave him the OK and it was fixed within an couple hours! Overall great experience and we'll continue to use FV plumbing for any plumbing issues.

Fernando is brilliant!!! Great attitude, warm personality, professional knowledge of systems, and incredibly polite to the home he is working on. We are having and have completed a few projects ranging from tankless water heater to faucet changes and a modern water filtration reverse osmosis system. He's wonderful, and a treasure to our community!

Phil with Revival Plumbing is and incredible asset if your home owner. I had to use him twice in the last year unfortunately but he came through for me each time. First time with a clog in my kitchen sink and the second time my drainage outside in my backyard was clogged with roots and in danger of damaging my neighbors house. Phil was out there quickly and charged more than fair price. I refer him to all my clients and will always use him

Our garbage disposal was leaking just a few days before thanksgiving. I was panicking. Called the big plumbing companies and no one had time to come for over a week. Gave SoCal Plumbing a shot and was not disappointed. Carlos answered the phone right away and came the same day. Pricing was fair and the job was done quickly. I recommend him and his crew. Juan was his assistant and they were so nice and professional. Definitely found our new plumber!

Would recommend Purpose Driven Plumbing to anyone looking for plumbing services. I requested a quote to fix an outdoor spigot and had a response from Justin, the owner, within 10 minutes. His price was very fair and he was able to come out that day and repair the leak. Not only was he efficient, but professional and very friendly as well. The repair was a high quality job! From the time I contacted the company to when the job was done was no more than 2 hours. Great company!

I can't say enough good things about C&C Plumbing. We've used their services multiple times this past year, everything from a water heater replacement to a whole house re-pipe, and each time has been a positive experience.
