Alexis arrived on time for both of our appointments and solved our problem quickly.  It was helpful to receive an accurate quote on all work before the work was performed - no surprises and the quote was accurate down to the cent.  We had a great experience with Prodigy and Alexis was great to work with.

MC Construction did a great job of replacing my old roof with a new energy efficient plywood & tile.  They added a few more vents and also replaced some weathered fascia boards. I want to thank Josh K. for being flexible & working with me to stay in my budget!  I would hire them again!  Possible new bathrooms in the future!

MVP sent Erik Tejada out to look at my garbage disposal which was backed up. He was able to fix it and give recommendations for future improvements . MVP was really responsive. They responded to my online request in minutes and then Erik was at my house like 2 hours later.
He was also able to fix a clog in my bathroom tub and troubleshoot an issue with my toilet which I'll be having my landlord fixes. Erik and MVP are my new go to for my future plumbing needs. I would highly recommend them to others.

Big shot out to, Chris Pivaral, the technician who was scheduled to come out to repair our air conditioning not blowing cold. Mr. pivaral was great, he is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. He acknowledged our concern and immediately went to inspect /test our furnace and found sign of oil seeping around the TXV line with low refrigerant but no actual leaks was found. At this time he requested additional assistance from the warranty team to further diagnose the leaks immediately due to a complaint previously made multiple times.

Mr. Pivaral ensure that during his visit our family were not left alone without A/C so he was able to temporary get us up and running at no charge. Now my A/C is back to blowing cold at approx. 56 degrees until further repair is needed.

I work out of town, and our laundry was draining very slow and the faucet dripped. So I had my wife call a plumber off line, she came up with Courtesy Plumbing. She was quoted a price, which was fine, and the Plumber showed up on time, this is where the problem started. The one plumber that came out could only do the stoppage, and the faucet had to be repaired by another plumber, which charged again. This was not quoted to my wife , but the invoice was paid., I didn't agree with the amount, and I call was made late at night, I had a call back with in a half an hour. Here is were it gets good!!!! Their customer service is A+, they refunded the difference in the amount with no fight, very polite, communication and was second to none, and I would use them again in a heart beat!!!!

Christian answered right away and was here within 30 minutes. He fixed our backed up toilet and shower and was very personable. I would definitely recommend him and will be calling for any future problems!

On time, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We had a kitchen faucet to replace and he did it all properly and promptly. I highly recommend these folks.

Bob is professional, prompt showed up in a mask. Called to unclog a drain in kitchen.  Bob attempted to sell me on a super expensive fix. I requested he issue a quote, called another plumber who unclogged the drain.  I believe Bob's tactic is likely effective on many.

We have owned our home in Marbella for 26 years and Mike is not always the first person I call...I usually call whoever is advertising $79 on the radio.  They send out some incompetent newbie who usually quotes in the $1000s.  Then I call Capo Plumbing and usually get the job done for under a couple $100s.  We even had a slab leak that we were quoted over $20,000 Mike did it for a couple thousand.  Saves us not only time but money.  Couldn't recommend anyone hire!

Contacted Seashore Plumbing as they are a local HB company for a clogged main line. Matt answered and immediately scheduled to meet with me in 45 minutes. He was on time and immediately assessed our problem. Once he found the problem he went right to work and within 45 minutes had unclogged both our shower in one bathroom and our bathtub in another. Matt was friendly, efficient and a no nonsense guy. We will definitely use Seashore  for our plumbing needs in the future.

We had a clogged Kitchen Sink and another Plumber came out and spent an hour accomplishing nothing only to tell us he had to come back the next day with a main line machine to fix the problem. We were told they would return but they never did. I called Pipe Bros and we were given an appointment and Kevin showed up on time with a Can Do attitude and determined how to unclog our sink and got some necessary supplies, used a snake, no main line machine, and we now have an unclogged sink. Kevin was highly professional and cleaned everything up and we will now use Pipe Bros for all our plumbing needs. Stacy in the office was terrific with the communication and kept us informed all the way. Great Service with a smile.

We are nearing the end of a large remodel (a gut basically) on our townhouse. We started with Dave with Smart and Handy back in January. I had him give us a quote based on great Yelp reviews, although I was still a little nervous thinking that those weren't as good as a personal recommendation. Well consider this your personal recommendation (although they will be happy to give you references, which we called, and they will all sing his praises). Dave gave us a very thorough initial quote that encompassed the wide scope of work we were looking for. Anything that came up, he always wrote up a new estimate so we knew what we were in for. All the vendors he brought in were fantastic. We completely redid all 3 of our bathrooms and the tile work that his tile guy did was beautiful! My husband and I were so impressed. We also needed engineered drawings of a staircase that we were redoing and a wall we were taking down, which required a beam. Dave recommended a fantastic engineer who did drawings that passed with the city the first time they were submitted, and he happened to be an incredibly nice guy as well. The staircase railings and treads were redone by another vendor of his who did a superb job. Our stairs are not only beautiful now but safe for our growing family.

Every subcontractor that Dave brought in was fantastic. While some may not have been the cheapest, with construction I feel like you get what you pay for. We decided to find our own painter to save a little money and ended up having Dave's painters come in and do it because it was so much better, and quicker. Do yourself a favor and trust Dave. He's been working with these guys a while and your project will run smoothly and turn out fantastic if you go with them. From framing to drywall to tile, paint, and flooring, Dave knows people who will get the job done right. He will help counsel you on material options where you can save money as well. I went with him to purchase our tile and I paid what he unwound pay for the tile with his contractor's discount. He didn't take anything off the top.

Dave has great attention to detail and is very honest. In fact when there was an error made on his end, he refunded us what we paid for. Way above and beyond what we expected but definitely made us trust him and we will use him for any future projects (although now we just want to enjoy our new remodeled home!).

Every day my husband and I comment on how much we love our remodeled home thanks to the hard work of Dave and his team. Give him a call, it will be the easiest decision if your remodel!

Our two bathrooms were clogged on Saturday. I called a couple different places and they had no immediate availability. I contacted Frank, and he and his team arrived at my house within 10 minutes and immediately went to work. I've never had to contact a plumber before and was nervous the problem would be too big or expensive. Thankfully the plumbing issue wasn't too bad and his price was very reasonable. He and his team fixed the plumbing issue within a few hours. I'm glad I contacted FV Plumbing and should I have any other issues with plumbing, they'll be the ones I call!

Great! Phil is a really professional and easy to talk to guy! His service was perfect. We had a broken hot water heater. We got his name from a satisfied neighbor and he responded quickly, solved a technical issue with our warranty, and was able to source, pick up and install said water heater on the same day. Pretty amazing! While he was here we had him do a few other small things we had neglected. Great guy, great service, fair price. We highly recommend!

Bryan and George responded to my home in less than two hours after receiving my phone call.  They were polite, friendly and so very helpful in diagnosing the issue with our garden drains.  Bryan offered wonderful, honest advice on how to proceed with repairs.  He was over-the-top helpful and we are so grateful for his expert advice.  The best!

Our downstairs bathroom started to get mold on the ceiling. To make a long story short, the upstairs bathroom shower pan was leaking.

After the mold remediation team had finished and seemed to narrow down the problem to either a drain issue or shower pan issue for the upstairs bathroom, my wife and I contacted approximately 10 general contractors and shower installation companies using various sources (including Yelp, Google Reviews, word of mouth recommendations, internet searches, etc) to provide their recommendations/proposals for our shower and bathroom.

During the processing of obtaining contractor quotes, we were not comfortable with most of the contractors for various reasons including high sales pitch tactics, lack of detailed explanation relating to waterproofing techniques that will be used during construction, extremely high prices, etc. We eventually narrowed down the list of contractors to two (including Ixtapa). However, after further comparison of both companies, we ended up choosing Ixtapa partially due to their quote being more inclusive of everything we wanted done (drywall repair, painting, among other items), their flexibility in recommendations that considered our budget, and most importantly, Ixtapa's clear explanation of their waterproofing techniques in which the utmost care would be taken during their multilayered waterproofing method to minimize any chances of the new tile shower leaking in the future. Other companies were vague in mentioning only hot mopping as an explanation. We just felt Ixtapa was the complete package when considering fair price, knowledge, customer reviews showing high quality craftsmanship, communication, etc. Alex was a very good communicator and listener when we shared our concerns/ideas. Alex was excellent at balancing our concerns/ideas with his expert advice/recommendations (this skill set Ixtapa apart from the rest of the other construction companies we talked to).

Jay, Alex's business partner, is the construction guru. Jay is very personable and has high expectations of quality that meet not only his high expectations, but also the customer's. Although Ixtapa has some workers in addition to Jay, Jay does the detailed design, measurements, and most of the detailed construction.

I liked how Alex made clear what materials Ixtapa provides (rough materials, etc) and explains in detail what materials the customer provides (tile, fixtures, etc). Alex even provided us a shopping list of items to purchase, quantities of each item, etc. This made it easier for us. When it came to choosing a new vanity, Alex recommended a few places for us to look at vanity options. We settled on a place and we were able to purchase the vanity with Ixtapa's contractor's discount to save some money. When I was stressed about some issues with vanity options while my wife was out of town on business, Alex took time out of his busy schedule to meet me at the store to help me through my struggles. With the assistance of my wife by phone, and Alex's help, we were able to make a decision that worked out very well (thank you Alex!).

Ixtapa showed flexibility when we requested changes to the scope of work related to the niche, additional recessed lights, installing the additional exhaust fans in our other bathrooms, among some other changes. Ixtapa was able to provide a custom glass shower per our requested specifications of partially obscured (middle 50% obscured, the top 25% and bottom 25% clear glass).

Jay and his crew did excellent work. As other reviewers have stated, Jay is a master craftsman. Jay and his Ixtapa crew handled everything from the demo, plumbing (installation of new shower drain with weep holes, etc), electrical (exhaust fan, led lights, gfci, etc), shower framing, multilayered waterproofing of shower, tile installation/grouting (shower, bathroom floor), installation of vanity & recessed medicine cabinet/mirror, installation of fixtures, drywall/trim/texture/paint, etc. The only items/services subcontracted out by Ixtapa to different companies were the hot mopping of shower pan and the manufacturing/installation of the custom glass shower door.

A couple of small/minor issues after completion of the bathroom project were taken care of by Ixtapa. The end result is fabulous!

We very much look forward to working with Ixtapa in the future with another project or potentially more than one project.

Called with a clogged toilet. Gio came out in the time window I was given.  He did an awesome job finding and blowing out the tree root that was plugging up our sewer line.  He explained the situation clearly and even gave me tips on how to prevent roots in the system in the future.  I would not hesitate to call HHS again.

Our water heater broke down on a late Friday evening, my husband called Pristine Plumbing and they scheduled an appointment for the very next day. They arrived on time, thoroughly explained the problem and informed us we needed a new water heater. We asked them if they could get it done the same day and they did! They called a bigger crew of technicians so they can get an ~7 hour job done in about 3 hours, before the end of they day. Very courteous team who did a very meticulous job. highly recommend!
