I had a major shower leak that needed to be fixed and reached out to multiple plumbers for an estimate. HSR&P responded quickly on Yelp and via Text/Phone. Frank was really critical in communicating expectations and next steps from the team.
They were able to get someone out to estimate the job very quickly. The guy inspecting wore shoe covers and did a good job asking me what the issues were while sharing some info about what would be needed, warranty and parts covered. He also let me know the estimate would be emailed same day.
Of all emailed estimates - HSR&P had the clearest and easiest-to-understand quote. They also didn't charge an inspection fee to apply towards the service like other plumbers did. I ended up going with them since the pricing was good and what seemed like an easy fix (I have plans to remodel my showers later this year - so just wanted a quick fix for the interim).
Within hours of approving the estimate via email, HSR&P scheduled my fix for the next day. The guy fixing my shower coordinated with Frank to keep me updated on all next steps and any changes due to findings after taking the hardware off and revealing that the equipment needed is no longer available and we'll need to do a different service that was 3x the original cost (on par with estimates from the other plumbers I contacted) but not what I budgeted for. I told Frank, it would have been ideal to know that potential increase in costs if the original estimate wasn't the case. I was also not happy with the Moen part selected for the fix, but didn't have a choice since it was the only available part that would work for a front entry fix (I live in a condo and do not have back access for the shower to utilize different trims).
Frank was patient with me and worked through my options, giving me a choice to opt out - but I went ahead with them anyways. The technician was hard working and this team is not your typical big plumbing company, so I wanted to support them. Thank you for clearing our backyard storm drain pipes for our home on January 30, 2020. Zoom Drain did an excellent job of clearing the roots and debris.
