Best Drain Cleaning in Honolulu HI

So our pipes are old, probably broken. Our main line clogs up...let's see at this rate...about once every 6-7 months. Why are we still here? It's Hawaii, man. Finding a new place is not the easiest or cheapest. Our landlord insists it's our fault (why would we purposely eff with the plumbing? We're not 3-year olds).

Anyway, for every single problem we've had, we went with Fast Rooter and have received the most exceptional service.

I called about 630 this morning and they answered. Points right there. Then they said they'd have someone over between 9-11 am--another huge plus as I was afraid they were going to say something like later this evening or tomorrow--and seeing how we just got back from the gym, use of the shower and toilet sooner than later would be great. Oh, did I mention we couldn't use our kitchen sink either--the water would back out from under our second bathroom's toilet!

Imagine my surprise when the plumber called at 8 am saying he could be right over!! I was so grateful because that meant our whole day wasn't going down the toilet (sorry, I had to--I know, bad pun). He came out here, ran an industrial snake through our outside pipe entrance and was done in about 30 min!

The total with tax was $188 which, to me is a really good deal for a plumber, especially in Hawaii. Each time they come out they recommend running a camera through the pipes but my landlord keeps saying we have to pay for it. It's $270 for the camera, which is, again, not bad but until my landlord pays for it, it's not happening I guess.

Mike Wessel, the owner of this great firm, came out personally to our home to do some custom repairs of our very expensive gold fixtures. His work was efficient and fast. I appreciated that he called ahead to say he's on his way. I highly recommend you call them.

Great experience with this outfit today! Bernard was on time and since I opted for the text notification I knew exactly when to expect him. They arrived with smiles and introduced themselves very professionally. They went straight to work and assessed my issue (a leaking bathroom sink). I'd dabbled in plumbing  in the past and I knew what the issue was but I didn't feel confident in making the repair myself. I knew fixing the cartridges would take some experience so I opted to call a professional and that's exactly what I got. Bernard with his helper (there was clearly some supervised training going on which I don't mind at all. . . there aren't enough skilled plumbers in Hawaii so a group that puts the effort into training new workers is great in my book) identified a few obstacles and quickly offered a couple solutions. After discussing the best course if action I was provided a quote. They did have to run down the street for the parts but they returned promptly and jumped right back in fixing the problem. Once completed they explained their solution which is a reassurance for any homeowner. I want to know that it was done right. They left the area as clean as when they arrived. I am a property manager and one of my tenants contacted me a couple days ago with a plumbing issue. Her bath tub was backing up with really gross sewer water and her toilets were bubbling. After contacting all of the big boy plumbing companies, I had just about given up. Nobody could get to our issue that day and would have to reschedule for the future. My tenant has a friend of a friend which turned out to be Shaka Plumbing. They too were very busy that day however they managed to find time to squeeze us in in the afternoon. They resolved the issue quickly and billed us a very reasonable service call. As a property manager, this is the kind of service that I am always looking for. Well done Shaka Plumbing! You rock!

Keli'i is licensed and insured plumber who is very professional and responsive. The first time I called, he was in the middle of a large job but took the time to come over and assess the leak I could hear dripping in my wall.

We communicated via text and although he was very busy, he came after hours on July 3 - the day before a holiday and stayed until almost 8 pm. He had to cut walls in between the upstairs kitchen and downstairs bathroom.

He bought the part needed and squeezed me into his schedule on July 5. After struggling in a small,  cramped space trying to remove a pipe that was installed incorrectly in the 1970s  (he had to chip away at the pipe, then cut it, then drill a bigger hole in the floor joist while working in a hole no larger than a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper) he kept saying Nothing is impossible. After seeing his accomplishment of this difficult job, I told Keli'i that should be his corporate slogan - Nothing is impossible!

So happy to find JGR through other positive yelp reviews, that I felt compelled to add my own. I researched and called around to various plumbers, but based on reviews and our texts, I felt that the owner Jaren was the right person for the job.

3 issues:

1- A kitchen sink that was not draining after several hours
2- A toilet that was running
3- A bath tub that was slow to drain

Jaren asked for photos of my toilet to assess needs before coming out. He explained that his call out fee was $25 and that he could come within the hour to give an estimate, even though it was 5pm.

Jaren arrived on time and gave me a reasonable quote (more affordable and quicker than other companies) with a few options on the spot and was able to fix everything in an hour. He was also very personable and easy to work with.

Based on my experience,I would recommend JGR as knowledgeable, experienced, and trustworthy for your plumbing needs.

Called them for drippy faucet,  they got back to me within few days but  fixed it in 1/2 hour. They had everything they needed to fix it. Would recommend them.

I live in a building almost as old as me. Like me, parts of my unit are wearing out and malfunctioning. That was the story with the tub faucet. The original equipment was about 60 years old and the hot water went from a drip to a constant stream, with the heat creating stains and mold.

I asked the office who did a lot of work at our complex and the said Pono at MG Plumbing. It didn't take too long to get an appointment. The shower head was a mess too, so I asked Pono about a new shower head with a hose, which would make it easier for me. He said I could buy one, or he would. I asked him to get one for me. I have a mobility disability, so it's hard for me to shop in person. I looked at many options online, but ultimately I figured he would know best how to proceed.

He was on time and selected a moderately priced Kohler shower head. It attaches via a magnet, making it easier for me to detach and reattach. That's helpful for me not just because of the disability but also because I'm so short.

He finished the work quickly and even put up the new plastic liner and just-washed fabric curtain. Just taking down the nasty dirty moldy plastic liner and the fabric curtain which desperately needing washing was quite a struggle for me, so I was very grateful when he did the work for me when I asked.

He also prepared me for what would eventually come after this, once this fix wore out. (Let's just say I'd better start saving lots of money.)

Once the hot water stream was fixed, I was able to scrub the tub and bleach the mold away in bits and pieces over a couple of weeks, as my body allowed. Now the tub looks pretty darned good. Hopefully I look that good, too, as we both continue to age.

We had our well go down and no water in a house with 3 kids. He drove an hour and a half at the end of the day and had us fixed up quickly! Thankful I found the company and they were so quick to come out.

At the end of 2015 when the Plumbers I contacted (including my regular Plumber) were booked totally solid through the New Year, Junior and Jay of Fast Rooter Plumbing astonished me by being able to come out the very same afternoon I called them to help replace a broken kitchen faucet, which was terribly inconvenient -- especially with our New Year's Eve party coming up the next evening!!! I had to leave voicemails for other Plumbers and they disappointingly called me back after a day or few.

Junior picked up the phone right away and set up an appointment with me later the same afternoon. As promised, Jay showed up and did absolutely stellar work in a quick amount of time . . . my wife and I just couldn't be any happier at all. This was the first time we tried Fast Rooter Plumbing and definitely won't be the last!

We had two issues that we needed help with: a faulty toilet water valve and a drain pipe leak that was damaging the walls and floor.

Called me back at 8am and told me that he could come by around 1pm and kept his promise. On time, fixed the problem (clogged clear out), fair price.

Fast, reliable, honest services at a very reasonable price!  Clayton and Colton came and resolved our issue within an hour.  We will definitely utilize their services again.

We had a washer drain overflow.  Our first plumber couldn't fix the problem after working about 4 hours.  This morning Johnny from JR Service & Repair came and fix the problem in no time.  I was utterly dumbfounded how fast he was able to fix it.  He is very dependable, courteous and respectful.  I am so glad that Scott Suzui of Tenkaippin referred him to us.  If you need any plumbing job, call Johnny.

What a ripoff

Got a decent quote from Jay.  Said he could be out between 7:30-8:00pm.  Great!  Asked for pics of my pipes, which I sent, then never heard from him again.  No, I can't make it tonight.  No Can I reschedule?  Just silence.  I even tried calling and he wouldn't answer the phone.  I could've spent that time finding a more reliable plumber.
