Best Bathroom Remodeling in Honolulu HI

Sid was very easy to talk with ..very prompt ..addressed my concerns and gave me good suggestions for things I had not even thought if..like a tankless heater that takes up less room in my small apartment and will save me $$ in electric bill not to mention the damage an old heater would do if it leaked..price was below what I thought I would spend and his workers are awesome..they went above and beyond my expectations...everything is well done and Sid was always checking with me to see if everything was good..I highly recommend Sid and his team

I'm truly saddened with this company. I was very excited when I initially reached out for a price estimate and received a quick response in february, but due to personal issues I couldn't follow through with the free estimate and project to have the popcorn ceiling removed from my home. Fast forward to June/July, I reached out to LaRue's and left messages and finally got ahold of Morgan. He seemed very pleasant and willing to work with me, but after that call, it was like pulling teeth from a cat to get much communication or response. I had to continuously call and message to get set with the free estimate, and after he came to inspect my townhome, he requested about 4 days to get me the quote, which I never received. I left another message about 2 weeks after the visit to inquire and never received a response.

I feel bad, but I received the impression that my project wasn't worth the work because I only wanted to get the top floor's work done, and was hoping for around $4K for a low square footage. Regardless, a quote or reply would have made a world of a difference. now I have to look around for another company, since I still need the work done. I'm sure he does amazing work, but in my opinion, if a business can't respond to inquiries and people that are willing to hire them for work, it's not worth the time.

Great service at a great price! The electrician was on time, answered all of my questions and walked me through the installation process. I would absolutely recommend!

Elton seems like a good guy and a very good plumber. I had him rip out an old bathtub, fix a leaky, rusty drain below the tub and install an new one. Most of the time he came with another guy. Most of the time, the other guy did the work. Although they tried to not make a mess, a mess was made. Then, in the middle of the job, with everything torn apart, after he asked for partial payment, he disappeared for two days so he could work on another job. I was left at home, taking time off my job, waiting for him to return to finish his job. When he finally came back, he (and his associate) finished up the job nicely though they did make plenty holes in the bathroom walls. If you hire him, take away his keys to his truck so he can't leave you in the lurch while he works on another job.

I just needed a simple rewiring of a 220v outlet to 120v. Well, not quite so simple, considering the washer/dryer in front of the outlet had to be moved out of the closet first.

Alex looked at the outlet (behind the washer) and gave me a quote within minutes. Since his company did work in the building before, I didn't have to go through the hassle of submitting the license and insurance required by building management. Alex and his team completed the work within an hour the same week, at a reasonable price (neither the highest or the lowest).

I'm happy to discontinue using an extension cord for the washer/dryer unit.

I called them in the morning about a weird sewage odor in the bathroom. They sent Ravyn out by the afternoon--he detected the problem, fixed it in a little over an hour. He patiently and clearly explained the cause of the problem to me & answered all my questions. For their quick response, professional service & trustworthy work, I'll call Waialae Plumbing for future needs.

Handy Andy was recommended to me by a fellow Real Estate team and now they are number one on my call list! I initially called for an estimate and they were able to get someone out to the property right away. They were not only quick and efficient, but were very friendly as well. Their prices were fair and so we decided to move forward with the repairs.

During the repair process, it was evident that they were highly skilled and knowledgable (Jack of all trades). I would highly recommend them to anyone for all their Handyman needs!

2 years later. We still think of Frank Duarte and his son Aaron and the work they did for us.
Every time the pipes clang, the leaks drip, and when we have to pay a plumber to fix what they didn't do correctly.
Or the higher electric and water bills thanks to their poor workmanship and our remodeling loan payments for their overcharging they do right from the start.
STAY AWAY!

I sent them photos of a wall mounted toilet which pulled away from the wall. They said it's a one hour charge to repair. The plumber who showed up immediately said he can't do anything. I called their office to ask why they said they could fix it when I showed them photos. They sent the plumber away and told him not to charge me. Later they called and said I should pay even if they gave an incorrect diagnosis over the phone through photos. Plumber was honest but the office people don't accept any blame. Not the way to run a business, especially for a small job. They were only concerned that they sent out someone and didn't get paid regardless if they didn't do anything. They told me not to contact them anymore. Okay! Crazy commercials- must be the same people working in the office.

Not impressed!  I was told to take a picture of my leaking toilet and send it to them so they would have the right part when they showed up.  They showed up and then looked at the toilet and said they don't have the part!  The plumber left the house saying he would run to the store and get one and never called me back and never came back.  A week later I received a call saying that they would have to order the part.  So they did that and set up another appointment a week later.  The day they were suppose to come, I received a call saying the the plumber was sick and couldn't make it so they would have to reschedule again!  This is a fairly large plumbing agency and they only have one guy???  Anyways, I had commited so much time to this, that I scheduled another visit a week later.  I can't believe it took a month to get them to fix my toilet!  I'll look for another plumber next time...

5 STARS IS NOT ENOUGH. PPS DESERVES 10+ Stars.
The team from PPS exceeded our expectations. They remodeled our master bath (Tub to Shower) and with no surprises. Louis provided a detailed estimate of the work to be performed and a timeline that was met to the tee, with no surprise add-ons.
 We contacted many plumbers and PPS was the only one who showed up on time, spelled out what was needed and immediately got back to us with a very good price that was very competitive with several other plumbing contractors, but they were the only one who put it in a detailed estimate.
 PPS covered our carpet, maintained dusk control and left our home as clean as when they began. Their work was excellent. We have used serveral plumbers but after our experience with PPS we will go nowhere else.
