TE installed two new AC units for us. Nick was the installer and he took the time to answer our questions. After the job everything was cleaned up so well that you'd never know we had a project at the house that day.

Called for my A/C not running on Sunday. They arrived Monday morning on time at 8 a.m. Eric was a pleasure to work with. Informed me throughout the process. He took 2:30 hours to isolate the wiring (main) problem for the estimate. Eric also noticed a possible leak in my roof and brought that to my attention. You could not ask for a more honest company. Have used them in the past with the same type of attention to detail and honesty.

Dino responded to my request for a plumbing estimate and came out quickly to assess my issue. Though this was not officially an emergency it was something that I felt needed to be addressed as soon as possible to keep from having more costly issues down the road if not taken care of. He listened to my opinion even though I have no clue about plumbing and how to fix things beyond how to turn the water on and off. He ran a test. Confirmed the problem, gave me a quote on the repair and an upgrade to help me in the future. He was not pushy about his upgrade but it made perfect sense so I agreed to include it with the repair. He didn't have the part needed for the repair but said he could pick it up and would be back in 30 minutes. I'm pretty sure he beat that time because he was back before I could finish a work call. Once back he went right to work and had the repairs and the upgrade complete in no time at all. His price seemed extremely fair based on prior plumbing repairs i had done in the past. The owner, Rohan, is someone who cares about precision and quality of workmanship for a reasonable fee. Our furnace stopped heating in January during a cold snap. Turns out one of the motors was seized up due to a buildup of dirt (change your filters, people!) And needed to be replaced. The thing was so grimy that the rod was stuck in the fan wheel and was very difficult and time consuming to remove. Despite all of this struggle and having to go all the way to Norcross in traffic for the motor he returned the same day to finish the job and still charged a reasonable rate. I plan on having him back for future jobs.

Ok we have been dealing with Hammond for a long time..... We have had tech after teach after tech here(I think like16) Everyone says oh it was this person or this person. A lot of them have passed the buck from one guy to another saying it was the tech then the tech guy says oh it was the installers and the problem never really getting resolved. Tonight we had a guy that was new to Hammond his name was Mark Hillson. He was polite and answered all of our questions in full. He never passed the buck. He just listened and answered (with a smile). We would have him in our home as our tech anytime. Thank you Mark for finally getting the house to cool. To be clear Mark Hillson is a five star rating!

Great in an emergency!

I came home to find water gushing out of the garage due to our 10-year-old water heater finally having gone bad. Harry, the owner, answered my call himself, walked me through shutting off the tank, and promised me someone would be out in an hour. He gave me quotes over the phone for a couple of options on replacement water heaters. Joe arrived on time and I paid what I was quoted. Harry and Joe were both professional and courteous. Thanks, guys! You saved the day!

We have had a maintenance plan with Coolray for a couple of years now, and they routinely come out for maintenance. Overall, the experience has been fine - nothing spectacular, especially given the price we paid for the maintenance plan, but not bad either.

My primary frustrations - in the home we bought, one of the systems was installed by Coolray (previous owners had a maintenance plan). The system is proprietary. So we could not replace the thermostat with a Nest or other remotely programmable one. I completely understand why they do this (locks you into only them for the life of the system), but it's annoying and something I wish I'd even known to ask about when buying the home.

My other frustration came today. I made an appointment almost a month ago for maintenance on our system between 9-noon today. It wasn't until 1:00 they called to let me know that they wouldn't be able to make it due to emergencies and rescheduled me for more than a week later. To be clear - I have no issue with getting bumped so that people without A/C get their back up and running. I do have an issue with waiting around all morning and not getting a call until 1:00. Once this maintenance plan runs out, we will be finding another service provider.
