We live in an old home and had a major flood coming from our bathroom. I called several businesses and S & A was the only business to get back to me in a timely manner. They were fast to come out and give me an estimate. Sam and his team were amazing!  They worked hard, fast, and efficiently. The team is professional and friendly and did A++++ quality work.   I really appreciate that they were in contact the entire time, letting me know what was going on the with the work process. They also returned all my calls and answered any questions I had (which were a lot). S & A are also very reasonably priced, and there were no surprise charges! You dont have to use a huge company to get great results.   I highly recommend this business and they have all my future business!  Thanks Sam and Team!

I want to first thank Tony, the plumbing professional sent out to help me! We had a kitchen sink that was backed up and to the point my kitchen flooded and it stinked! First, Carl at Active responded to me quickly and assessed the situation and was able to let me know when he could send someone out and was very flexible with my schedule as I work long hours and simply could not wait for a Monday through Friday company. Other companies wanted to charge a premium because of the time they came out, but Active was able to accommodate me. Tony reached out to me promptly and coordinated when I was going to be home. As soon as he got here, he assessed the sink and gave me the best case and worst case scenario of the problem. He got right to it and truly made sure he cleared the clog by snaking from the house all the out through the main line and ensuring he could see the snake. He was professional and super thorough he knocked the clog out entirely. He made sure he ran water and everything was cleared before he closed up. I appreciate a company that has very professional staff, are trustworthy, and are not trying to upsell any services or overcharge. Being a Flo-grown and moving here to Viva Hot Vegas, AC is always of the highest priority to myself and my family! I have been very happy with the service we've received from Sierra AC. The staff is very flexible with maintenance scheduling. The techs who come out know their stuff and explain each steps of the process as they went through our system to make sure everything was in working order and in terms I understood (which are super simple ones.) The techs even take the time to cover their shoes to be respectful of our flooring in the home, as well as to shut doors to keep bugs and hot air out of the house. They were friendly to introduce themselves and even took the time to entertain my kiddo and pup. We've had Matt and Kyle out who are very knowledgeable and thorough so that we have no worries after they leave. I like their honesty and understanding of the HVAC system because we all know that you can't afford to have no AC when it's over 100 out in the Vegas Summer!

I am 69 years old man.I am a veteran and I hate businesses that take advantage of the Veteran. My water company said I might have a leak because I used a lot of water last month I was recommend to call of duty and this gentleman name David said he was the owner and I believe it was his nephew Xavier came to my house and they said that they were going to charge me $1800 for a leak so I called my neighbor and he told me they were trying to rip me off not only ripped me off but they were smoking marijuana in my yard I was Purdy angry at the situation I told him to leave or I will call the police I don't recommend this company at ALL... customer service was the worst too they don't have patience for the elderly people they don't like to explain they just want to charge and get their money terrible terrible service

I have used them for commercial and residential drain clearing and each tie they have been awesome to work with.  They arrive when they say they will, do the job professionally and CLEANLY.
They charge a fair price and I have never had an issue with them in the past few years I have been using them.

I called Vegas Plumbing Service and they sent Gabriel out within an hour and replaced our leaking water heater right away. Competitive price to the other plumbers that couldn't get to us till the next day. Definitely recommend this company.

I had been searching for a company to install a humidifier for me, and after countless companies trying to charge ASTRONOMICAL prices that shouldn't even be legal, Israel came to my rescue and completed the job with complete integrity at a fair price. I am so grateful for him! He came over to give me a quote in a timely manner and even worked late at night to get the job done for me by a deadline. I highly recommend Israel! Homeowners in Vegas know that finding decent, honest service people is a crapshoot with very long odds...
Once upon a time, Alaska Air was our only AC service call. We'd relied upon them since 1998 so in 2011, when we needed a new roof unit, we called no one but them. The very large new roof unit (almost $12k) was installed but, unbeknownst to us, the required city inspection we paid for was never completed. The unit came with a five year warranty and service agreement. Annual service calls always seemed to require some kind of part but, as it was under warranty and no charge to us, we didn't think much of it. When I questioned one technician as to why our unit - being nearly new- would be having problems - he told me that AC units are built, tested and rated for an average temperature. Las Vegas summer heat, he continued, is way above average and no unit was built especially to deal with such extremes.
Early last summer, as it neared the end of warranty, the unit went out. We could smell an electrical smell and
immediately called Alaska Air for repairs. We were charged for a 'burned out' part. Less than two weeks later it happened again. Imagine our shock and dismay to discover that upon questioning the service people we learned that during the initial installation the unit had not been properly wired to the electrical junction box and was drawing too much power, causing a part to repeatedly burn out. Not only that, but now Alaska Air repeatedly denied ever installing it in the first place!! When we finally found the paperwork to prove they had indeed been the installer of record, we were told the company was under new ownership and this was not their problem. We asked to be reimbursed for the previous two repairs as the unit was still under warranty and for the city inspection we paid for to be completed. Both requests we denied. The unit must now be re-installed to bring it up to code and avoid the risk of both burning up the unit completely and burning our house down!! So we are left with paying twice for a job that was never completed properly in the first place.
The moral of the story? Honest service companies in Sin City are rarer than MegaBuck jackpots and Alaska Air is certainly a losing bet.

Bryce, his son and Matt did an amazing job installing a new kitchen faucet in my house, replacing my water heater and changing out my 21 year old  shower cartridges.  They were professional, diligent, and Bryce took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me. I would highly recommend their services. They truly are great plumbers who put the needs of their customers first. They will not overcharge for services and their prices are extremely fair. Great work, impeccable character and wonderful customer service. A plus rating from me.

Thor Industries installed a top of the line Rheem Hot Water Heater for me in 2019. A few days ago, I noticed water in my garage, called Troy at Thor. He came out right away, said the water heater was defective. They drained and removed my water heater the next day and installed a brand new one. The installation fee was crazy high (as all things are since the pandemic) & I told Troy I simply could not pay that much. Long story short, Thor installed and completed the job absoutely perfect........and he gave me a discount on the install. THAT IS CLASS !! Please use Thor Industries for any HVAC, plumbing issues. You won't regret it.

A real weekend warrior!

We woke up Saturday morning to no hot water and found our water heater leaking out consistently. In need of a quick repair, I started looking up companies in the area. Most were closed or didn't answer the phone, but luckily we got ahold of Mike.

After speaking to him about the issue, he showed up within an hour to diagnose the problem and gave us the price of the job before starting any work. He kept us updated throughout the job and before we knew it, water was flowing hotter than ever!

Mike was very professional and straightforward. He even advised us on how to enhance the longevity of our water system. I highly recommend him for your plumbing needs!

We needed someone to come out and check our air conditioner which kept turning off.  Charlie came out and inspected the unit and explained that the AC was actually fine.  The problem was not the air conditioner but the switch on the circuit breaker which felt very hot.  It would shut down for protection.  We appreciate his honesty and professionalism!  A different company told us we should get a new unit.  We had the switch replaced and the AC works perfectly now!  Nice to know there are still honest companies out there. Thank you Charlie!

Awful.  They came out to install my water heater purchase from Lowes.  Lowes contracts them out, which is a horrible business decision on their part.  They I stalled the water heater, and our water pressure went down.  Also, when taking a shower, if another hot water source is turned on, it goes down to a drip.  We never had this issue before the new water heater was installed.  I called Lowes.  The owner of Pain in the Pipe, Mike, came out.  I showed him the issue with the shower. He and another man went into the garage.  They came back a minute later to say it was the water softener.  If that were the case, why is the cold water pressure okay?  He said he was 99% sure that was the problem, otherwise I need a new regulator that is very costly.  I called the water softener company to service our equipment.  I told them the issue since the water heater install.  The water softener service man went over to check the work done on the water heater, apparently they didn't open the valves leading into the house all the way.  It was as simple as that.  I wouldn't trust Pain in the Pipe to do anything.  If the owner couldn't figure that out, but suggested I need a very expensive further repair, I am perfectly aware of their scam.  Beware.  Lowes is not smart to be doing business with them either.

Yes, they are expensive, but they really do solid work.  I bought a HomePath house (repo/bank-owned that needed significant work) and worked with Hawthorne from the beginning.  They completely retrenched my master bath, installed all of my toilets, faucets, and literally everything else that had to be done (which was quite literally EVERYTHING). I did voice concern about one bill I found to be ridiculously high, but they did work with me to refund some of that.  The bonus is that I have the 2 year guarantee on everything.

Worked primarily with Ivan.  He is the absolute best.  Works fast, is thorough, and is very patient.

I think many people are upset because they have home warranties that do not cover much of what Hawthorne goes out to do, which is understandable.  But blame your home warranty, not the company that is called to come fix things that aren't covered. You are paying for LABOR, not parts. If you know how to do it, obviously you are going to save money by doing it yourself with parts from a box store.

I am glad you answer back. As a business owner, I understand how you care for your business. But contracting the people who tries to overcharge and destroy other people property for job security is not acceptable.  
You are shortsighted when you say I live in Carlsbad. Yelp fed you wrong information, the great Yelp. I live in Mountain Edge and have a Nevada license. I even have your company' INVOICES, lol. If you really want to take care of your company, you have to monitor them. Greed is your company' s motto. If you really want to take care of your company, you should have asked for my phone number. My business is here on Spring Mountain for 22 years. This shows how much you dont REALLY care about your customer. Profit is your bottom line and hiring dishonest people seems to do the job.
Let me tell you I know 2 guys I can use at your company but they are never available when I need them, Randy and Gene. I don't like Mick and most of your other guys.

I can't say enough nice things about jeremy. If I owned a plumbing company . I'd want him to work for me. He really does care about the customer. He went above and beyond to make sure that everything worked and that I got the right equipment that would last. The price was also very reasonable. I recommend butter plumbing because of the excellent people that they hire Jeremy being one of them.
