Best Air Duct Repair in Greensboro NC
No one likes to arise from their slumber on any given morning, and the first thing they hear is their partner telling them there is no hot water. I had that unfortunate situation yesterday, and only know a few basic things about water heaters. I went to look at ours and noticed the pilot light was out, which is something I CAN do something about, so I attempted to re-light it. Instead of a burning pilot, I was greeted with a flashing light based error code that was 100% above my pay grade.
I went to the Yelp App and fired up their request a quote tool, which I love. You can answer some simple questions, and your inquiry will go out to a group of highly rated local businesses that can help. They get back to you through the Yelp app, and make it easy to schedule. Very handy!
Go Green was the first to respond, and they were able to fit me into their afternoon schedule. Their standard service call rate was very fair and I was happy to get someone to look at it soon. Mark B made it to my house that day by 4pm.
Now I worked in the IT repair field for many years, and so many times have seen the frustration as a person hands me their computer and I do the exact same things they did, and for me it works. I got a taste of my own medicine, as Mark lit the pilot on the first try and no error message was given. What caused the pilot to go out, or why I got the error, a mystery to us both.
He could have simply been on his way then, but he stayed to make sure the pilot stayed lit and the water got back up to temp. With that time, he inspected the water heater educating me on typical service life and what a new unit would cost if I wanted to consider replacement. He also inspected my water pressure, house shut off valve, pressure valve (requiring a crawl space trip) and made some recommendations that I might consider for the future.
So instead of feeling dumb for paying a service fee on a 5 minute fix, I learned a lot of things I needed to know about my relatively new home, and found a quality company to work with in the meantime. They recognize that this level of service, while just a small amount today, could pay off for them in the long run, and I appreciate that. Thanks a bunch Go Green!

I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the mail tonight. I found a very nice apology letter and a check for $134.75 from Jessup. Thank you, Meghan, for taking the time to read my review and for taking steps to correct the situation. I appreciate this gesture, and I wish your company success. With kind regards, John D.

Easily a 5 star experience if I solely based my review on service rendered once Fletcher and Devin arrived at my home. Both were extremely professional yet friendly. Fletcher was very thorough in his assessment of what was going on, testing several different scenarios before he provided his overall assessment and recommendations. I will admit, the mere fact that when they arrived and were pleasant and professional and the service was quick, it negated almost all of my negative thoughts about the company. I docked one star based on the initial dispatcher not being clear when she took my appointment around 8:30 AM. She stated that my appointment would be from 1pm until 3pm when in actuality 1pm until 3pm was the window of time the technician had to arrive. After a technician was not at my home by 1:15, I called back, explained my situation (the fact that I had a hair appointment in Greensboro at 4 pm and could not take another day off work to wait ALL day for them to arrive) and eventually they were able to get my call to Fletcher and Devin. Life was good!

If I could give them a 0 rating I would. I am forced to try and work with them because of my home warranty. Waited around the first day from 8:30-1 and they never showed. I called and was rescheduled for 8:30-5 the following week (after waiting a week for my appointment). At 3:30pm after waiting all day they called and said no one was available to come and they needed to reschedule me (again). I stayed that was just unacceptable and was told they would pull someone off another job and he would be on his way. They never showed up. Called the next day and was told I would be called back within 30 minutes to be put on the schedule and no one ever called. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. The worst part is now I have a second issue and guess who my home warranty scheduled?!

Their staff was very informative and kind when speaking on the phone. They explained the process to ease my mind and the finished project assured me that this company is the best at what they do!

Back in March 2021, 2 years after I bought my home, I had an HVAC system zoned by Sutton Bros. to separate our finished basement and 1st floor. The installation was problematic and they returned several times to fix various issues with the zoning board they installed. Within 2 months, I began noticing humidity levels over 70% within my home. I had ecobee thermostats previously installed in my home and had never experienced humidity levels over 50-55% prior to this zoning. The high humidity led to copper pipes sweating, staining and mold growth on the drop ceiling tiles in the basement. Sutton added insulation to these pipes to help alleviate this problem and I replaced ceiling tiles at my cost. Eventually, despite having had Sutton at my home 10+ times due to humidity related issues without any findings on their part, I discovered on my own that they had disconnected one of the HVAC returns from the system and left this ductwork emptying air into my drop ceiling, which likely contributed to the pipes sweating. Though they initially denied causing this, after several visits, they did eventually confirm my findings of the disconnected duct, admitted to having disconnected it during the zoning, and fixed the ductwork. After this frustration and continued failures to fix the humidity, I contacted another company. When they inspected my system, they found significant mold growth within the HVAC due to the humidity. They said the zoning was done improperly (mismatched zoning board that didn't work well with the brand of my HVAC system) and imbalanced, which led to the high humidity and mold. I paid them to clean the HVAC and install an air scrubber to prevent future mold growth. I contacted Sutton and requested they pay for the cleaning and air scrubber, but they refused. Sutton then inspected the system once more and found a misplaced wire on a circuit board for the zoning, which they claimed would fix the imbalance issue. This is after over a year of me calling them to fix my humidity issue and well more than 10 visits to my home by Sutton to diagnose and fix the issue. Their adjustment to the zoning board in fact did not fix the humidity and I remain with levels over 70% in my home. They outright refused to accept responsibility for my humidity problems, despite the mountains of evidence that it was related to their zoning work. Their only offer to me was to either install a dehumidifying system in my basement or to reimburse the cost of the dehumidifier itself, since I refused to let them work on my system again after this debacle. When I sent them the quote from the other company for the dehumidifying system, it took over 3 weeks for them to respond, and their offer for reimbursement was inadequate, well below the estimate I had obtained. I eventually had to contact the Better Business Bureau, and despite several attempts to contact them, Sutton ignored the BBB and their attempts to mediate this issue. I would STRONGLY recommend against using Sutton Bros for your heating and cooling needs, as they do very poor work and don't stand behind their work either.

Where do I begin. I called and made an appointment over a month ago. My HVAC system went out. They came out and told me what they thought the issue was with my unit. Joshua Clayton suggested I get a new circuit board and told me it would be there by Tuesday, mind you it was Friday when he came out. The unit came almost two weeks later. 3 weeks later the unit went out again, same issue. However, I made an appointment 3 separate times for Mr. Clayton to come back out, he canceled each time due him stating he had a tooth ache. Mind you I have a 3 year old son and it was freezing. A receptionist named Alisha was the nastiest person I could speak with to get someone out. When he did arrive he stated it was the circuit board fuse, then stated the thermostat was causing the issue. He asked to repair the thermostat for $400 after I paid $500 for a new circuit board. I told them I would find someone else. When I found someone else they noticed Mr. Clayton had left the old circuit board in the attic, they noticed the fuse was still attached. The new company told me they had gotten over on me because the issue wasn't the circuit board it was only the fuse. The new company only charged $140 to install a new thermostat. Watch out for them, they will get over on you, I called several times for a refund, I never got a response back.
