Superior is absolutely how I would describe this service. I called with a non-emergency slow drain and within a half hour the service man arrived. He fixed the drain issue in a matter of minutes and the drain now works perfectly. I know any plumber could've fixed this clog, but the customer service, fair rates and quick response set Superior Plumbing apart. Highly recommended!!
Jamie was incredible. It was apparent that he had a lot of experience but more importantly, excellent skills. He replaced my kitchen faucet in about 30 minutes. Superb workmanship and very personable. The entire experience with this company was excellent.
The bathroom flooded due to the tank overflowing. Called Superior and spoke w/ George. Jeff showed up within an hour to assess the issue. He explained what was causing the overflow and how it could be fixed. He didn't try to sell me unnecessary parts or services. He just fixed what was already there and showed me what was done. Worked with Jamie. Very friendly and very professional. They don't sell you what you don't need and I really appreciated that. Prices were very reasonable. If ever I need any plumbing work done I am definitely calling them.
I was slightly disappointed when Jeff wasn't our tech given his high marks here on Yelp. My disappointment was not warranted. Let me say that Will was great! He was fast, honest, and neat! Having had a bad experience with other companies, Superior Plumbing restored my faith in plumbers again!

Jamie did a wonderful job today. He was extremely knowledgeable about the problem and quick got our water back up and running after going a day without water to our home. His work was impeccable. Professionally done and quick. The price was also exactly what I was quoted. I would highly recommend this company hands down. After having many plumbing companies over the years come out and do various things, I have found the BEST company I have ever encountered... Superior Plumbing in Orange. Jamie came out to fix and re-arrange all the plumbing under the kitchen sink. We are in the middle of a kitchen reno and everything needed to be re-done. HIGHLY recommend Superior Plumbing--- Prompt, called us en-route so we knew exactly when he was coming, super clean, job done right..... what more could you ask for ! Leslie Crucil Orange, Ca.
First, if you are reading this good luck with your problem.
Kitchen sink clogged last night. Called three highly rated places from Yelp and this was the first that could come out. They were available early the next day and called regularly to update me on their arrival time.
Jeff came out and was great. Found the problem quickly and while the sink was draining he fixed a couple nuisance problems that I wanted to fix while I had a pro out to the house. Entire thing cost under $100 and I made sure to keep their number for any future problems. I would happily suggest them to others.
Found Superior Plumbing through reference by another plumbing company that I have used before, I trusted their recommendation.
One of my bathroom sinks was leaking considerably, Jeff was able to fit me in the same day I called. Jeff came wearing his mask, was very friendly and he listened to my concerns. He checked out all sink hoses, valves, and fixtures, he gave me the lowdown on which items should be replaced and why, also told me the items that were okay and why. Broke down all costs and stuck to them, he worked quickly, quietly and cleaned up after. Jeff takes customer service seriously; after he left I called him twice, he patiently answered my questions - again - for future work, he went on to text me model numbers, pictures, things to consider...for faucets that would work for my unique situation. It was the end of the day and he still gave me the extra effort. Thank you!

I was referred to this company by The End Result. They called me back within a minute and were able to schedule a date and time that suited me. On the day, I got a call confirming I was home and said he would be there shortly. He arrived and looked at the toilets and sinks that needed work. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I was quoted a price and he quickly fixed all the problems and showed me the worn out parts. Very professional and quality service.
I want to start off by saying i live in pomona, ca and we recently bought a house in 2011 and have been having some problems with back up mainly the toilets and occasionally the showers will start backing up as well but we would just rent a snake and do it ourselves but recently this has not resolved the issue and we are having problems it seems like once a month. To make a long story short we had a plumber come out and camera the main line approx a month and a half ago and come to find out we need to have a portion of our main line replaced so to save money my husband had his unlicensed friend do the job which he did tell us we will probably have to replace the whole main line. well on Monday 10/27/14 we had some backup again. I was desperately looking online on yelp for a five star plumber to come out and found 5 stars next to SUPERIOR PLUMBING. i read the review and was going to hire them to come out and give me an estimate. I called the number and George answered the phone i explained our situation and asked if they service the Pomona area and he told me NO i was very disappointed but George was willing to tell me what might be wrong and he answered all my questions so he basically gave me a free consultation over the phone he was so helpful!!! George heard the disappointment in my voice and the cry for help as i felt i had no where else to turn he told me he would call around and see if he can find someone in the area to come out. About 3 hours later he surprisingly called me back ( I SAY SURPRISINGLY BECAUSE PEOPLE JUST DONT CARE ANYMORE) and told me he could not find anybody so he was going to send someone from Superior even though they do not service this area and that someone would be out w/in the hour. I was so impressed with his willingness to serve people thats why i am writing this review just for all his efforts he did not have to do that for me. SUPERIOR PlUMBING is truly out to help the community they are truly SUPERIOR!!!

I wouldn't write a review unless the service was either great or terrible. The service was Superior and they didn't DRAIN my wallet. This should be your go-to plumbing company if you live in or around Orange.
We called early on a Monday morning to report a plugged drain that stopped up the whole house. Steve arrived before 9 am, searched diligently for the correct cleanouts (not obvious), gave us an estimate and went to work. The drain had been cleared by others in previous years, but only by, it turned out, poking a small hole in a big plug. It turned out to be quite tricky, due to some wierd plumbing in our house, but he cleared a massive plug. I'm confident it will be a long time before it plugs up again.

Called Superior due to a clogged kitchen sink and leaky pipe. They were able to accommodate my schedule and arrived at my home within an hour of my call. They sent their plumber,Will, who is very pleasant and accommodating. He was able to put me at ease that he was more than capable of taking care of my problem. In less than an hour my drain was cleared and my leak repaired. Pricing was very reasonable and I will definitely be using Superior again should the need arise. Thanks for being so awesome!

I have been so ripped off by plumbers in Orange County, that I was afraid to call! I prayed before I contacted Superior Plumbing and was truly blessed. This is the 2nd time I've used them. Excellent service both times. Originally Steve came out (I found out he's now retired). This time I got Jamie who's equally good as well. On time, quality work. No pressure sales. So good I've scheduled a plumbing enhancement to increase my water pressure.
I called George on a Saturday to fix the plumbing problem from hell. The builder installed a huge tub surrounded by a framed box covered in tile. Of course there was no door to access the plumbing from any angle and the area close to the no name brand fixtures was super crowded with framing.
We had opened up the box which means that we had to break the thing open and tear out the tile. Jeff, the plumbing technician, was able to install our new Moen fixture working in very tight quarters inside the box.
Jeff did the job on the spot and we finally have new fixtures. So pleased with this plumber. Would highly recommend them.
Thank you Jamie at Superior Plumbing, on time, efficient, friendly and personable. My drain is clear, dang it, now I have to do the dishes :-) thanks again!

My wife and I reside in a small Condo complex in the City of Orange. We had an emergency water leak at an outside water line, which required the City's Water Dept to shut off our water. I called several local plumbers, all stating they were too busy to respond. I googled local plumbers, discovering Superior Plumbing in the City of Orange had the Best reviews (Five Stars). I called and spoke to the owner (George) who had a plumber at our home within two hours. His worker (Will) diagnosed the problem and returned in the morning to complete the job, saving overtime costs. Superior Plumbing has Integrity, fair prices, fast and quality service. I highly recommend and will call on them for any future plumbing needs.
I called four plumbers before calling Superior. Three calls went to voice mail. Another one I called couldn't get out to us today. I called Superior Plumbing and the person who answered was very professional, courteous, and had someone out to us within a very short period of time. Jamie and his service partner came out and did a great job for us. We had a main line back up in the office and he had us all taken care of within 30 minutes at a very reasonable rate. Very clean, orderly, and efficient.
I had some problem with shower water pressure. I called the company and spoke with Jeff . Instead of many other companies who are eager for your money, he was eager to help. He asked me a few questions via texting to figure it out what is the problem and guided me to a simple solution that fixed the problem. I never had such a great support for some one that I never met and a company that I never had a business with. He was there to help not just to do business. I will definitely use their service if I need in future.

We have an issue with hot water pressure in the back half of our house. Jeff responded promptly to my request for a quote, even though it was 10 PM. He asked a bunch of thoughtful questions via chat, and scheduled a service call for 11 AM to 3 PM the next day.
I got a call from Will at 10 AM saying he could come earlier if I wanted. That worked out great for me. Will was very friendly and knowledgeable. He did his best to diagnose the issue in as efficient a way as possible. Unfortunately, the easy fix didn't work, so we talked through some possible next steps which would be more intrusive (i.e. cutting into walls). Although there were some viable options, they don't really solve the underlying problem, which is a bad Ace Duraflow epoxy treatment that is breaking down inside the pipes. That's a ticking time bomb for a repipe.
After talking to his own epoxy guy, Will basically came back and said what I already knew -- the short term fix we discussed might work for a while, but we're only going to keep having problems, and a repipe is the way to go. The other options were just an expensive way of delaying the inevitable. Not what I wanted to hear, but not surprising.
Superior doesn't do repipes themselves, so I never felt like I was being upsold or like they immediately were jumping to the most extreme, expensive option (which is how I have felt with other vendors). I'm very happy with the service, and I will definitely use them in the future.
Superior Plumbing is superior. Jeff has done work at my house twice including the installation of a hot water heater. Both times everything went perfectly. What impressed me was not only the fine service and fair prices but the expertise. Jeff explained everything carefully to me and even though two other plumbers had told me a wall would have to be opened to repair a shower leak, Jeff explained why that was unnecessary. Superior Plumbing I am a customer for life.

i lost gas supply to my house and jeff correctly predicted a gas line leak that allowed water into the line and blocked the flow of gas. he helped me get a service to locate the leak and then effected a repair of my line after clearing the water.
this required 3 visits so i was very happy to have someone knowledgeable and reliable help me.
Our garbage disposal went out and we needed an air gap for our dishwasher installed, and Jeff came out the next morning (a few hours after we contacted Superior, fully masked and all) to address the issues. He talked me through various options to make what we needed done work with the creative plumbing the prior owners had done, and recommended a cost effective solution. He could have charged much more for more expensive options, but was honest and didn't try to take advantage of my naïveté with regards to plumbing. I definitely recommend Superior!
I was referred to Superior Plumbing by my neighbor. I had water flooding out of the main line where my meter is. Will was sent out to repair it and kept me up to date on what was wrong and how much it would cost. After fixing the problem and checking that the water was back on it was a thumbs up A couple hours when my roomate came home the water wasn't coming out of the faucets. After a frantic call Will came right back out to see what the problem was. Turns out it was a completely separate issue. My water softener had broken and was clogging up with little red beads that was blocking the water flow. Will flushed it out , clearded the line and prevented it from causing further and more extensive damage! I highly recommend Will and Superior Pluming!

Superior Plumbing...the name says it all. Had an emergency with the shower drain, it took forever to drain, plus the flush thing in the toilet was not working properly. I came to Yelp to find a good plumber. Noting all the stars on Superior Plumbing's Yelp page, I decided to call them.
Thank you, WILL, for coming out to our new home in Orange. We were noting some calcium issues with the water. The home was empty for a few months prior to us moving in, so I decided to have the Tankless Water Heater flushed out. I have noticed a huge difference in our water. While WILL was waiting on the flushing of the water heater to be completed, I had WILL tighten our MBR shower as well as that appeared to be loose. AGAIN, TY WILL and Superior Plumbing of Orange!
When you are a single female with no husband or boyfriend, you are always scared of getting scammed by anyone working on your home, so you tend to put things off and not get them fixed. When a valve issue became beyond putting off and was leaking badly on the garage floor, I called Superior Plumbing. Jamie rushed out and was at my home within an hour. Simply amazing service!!! Jeff and his crew responded quickly when our pilot light went out recently. They came out the next morning, even though we didn't contact them until late the night before. Our ac unit just died on us and Jeff replied quickly to let us know they don't service ac units but recommended his brother. He even called his brother and shared our contact info with him. Amazing!!! The tech who came to our house to fix the pilot light (I'm sorry I forgot your name!) was nice, patient and extremely professional. You've made customers for life out of us!
Just had a service call with Superior Plumber, Jeff. I needed some work done on a toilet. He came promptly and was courteous and thorough. Best of all, the price for service was reasonable. I was very pleased with the whole experience. Don't hesitate to call these guys They are honest and reliable.
So... My home was built in the 70's and has had a lot of upgrades through the years. I had a polybutylene flex pipe that connected the service line to the house. It was always suspect and you guessed it, it blew at night, fortunately while I was home. My plumber, Will, came out and was extremely professional in replacing the line with copper as well as installing two new quarter turn shutoff valves. Will kept me informed about his arrival times and even dug the old line out while I was absent due to a family medical emergency. I felt the pricing was more than fair for the amount of work involved and will recommend him to my neighbors who have similar service line piping. The company response time was also extraordinary based upon my experience.
Just purchased a condo, my toilet clogged for a long time. I called around, everyone was nice giving me a quote but George took the time to quote me step by step- what each step will cost. He walked me through the unclogging without charging over the phone. I will definitely use him for future issues - He was honest about the cost and not general and seemed really caring. Thank you!!

I should have left a review a long time ago. I can't remember how I found out about Superior Plumbing, but I've used them at
least ten different times over the years. When you call, they either answer right away or call right back. I've had them do drain clearance, garbage disposal replacement, water heater replacement, toilet replacement, shut off valve installation, shower repair, water pressure test and most recently, replace a stove top. Each time they have been spot on with the repair, cost and friendliness. It's hard to find a reliable contractor in any specialty. I couldn't imagine using anybody else for my plumbing needs.
This is the most positive plumbing experience I've ever dealt with. Ever. This experience is why I continue to be a Yelper.
My wife and I had a bathtub that was only giving out hot or cold water (no warm). It was especially troubling because that's our kids bathroom. We figured we'd replace the fixtures in the process. After I bought the fixtures, and then realized the level of work needed to install it, I decided to call a good plumber to help.
Fortunately, I chose Superior Plumbing based on Yelp reviews. Jeff took my call with the utmost courtesy and explained everything in full detail so that I understood the choices available to me, as he would probably have to cut through the wall to replace the valve. I scheduled an appointment for the next day.
Jeff arrived exactly when he agreed, and installed our new bathtub fixtures perfectly. I'm glad I didn't try to do this myself, as this guy was better left to a more experienced person. Knowing I have kids, he checked the temperature regulator with me to make sure I felt the hot water limit was safe. Everything is working, and the area was clean when he left.
The cost was less than another reputable Yelp plumber I talked to. So I'm happy, and our bathtub is back to normal. Note: I will have to handle the wall repair for the small opening Jeff created to replace the valve (which he did very neatly), but I knew that was coming and I am able to do that myself.
If you are looking for plumbing assistance, I would strongly suggest you consider Superior Plumbing. I believe in doing a job right, and this company delivered that at fair value to us.

I called this company to consult about drain leak detection and I needed diagnosis. I had noticed that there's an appliance leakage but wanted to make sure that's not from the drain or slab leak. Jaime came to our house and after I showed the videos I took from the appliance he confirmed that the leak is from the appliance. Then he told us that another part of the appliance drain is leaking and he told us it cost $223 to fix that. I thought it's a quiet job to fix it, but he fixed it in less than five minutes!! Then I did the biggest mistake and asked him to replace two hose bibs and two laundry hose faucet. His price for all the above was 575 in total, however, when replacing the front yard bib a minor leak on the pressure valve became out of control and he said we should replace the entire valve, the cost for that is $625 he said. I asked him about the part, pressure valve, cost and he said it's about $200, but I checked afterward in Home Depot and it's around $100. At that time I had no option because without fixing that I didn't have water. Anyway, he fixed that and all of these jobs in total took about 2 hours. The next day another plumber came to my house to consult about changing the water heater and I asked him about those projects done yesterday by Jaime. I couldn't believe how this company overcharged me for those jobs. The other plumber gave me the service fee that was less than half of what Superior Plumbing charged me. I will never reach out to this company anymore because of their pricing. From my experience, the tech, Jaime, was definitely a professional plumber, but the company's pricing is way too OVERPRICED.
Couldn't be happier! I'd called at least five plumbers in OC, many of which I'd found here on Yelp. I left messages but no one ever called me back. Meanwhile, my problem was escalating. I finally stumbled across Superior Plumbing. Not only did they actually answer the phone, but they came out within two hours to clear my kitchen sink drain. The service man was pleasant, personable and sincere. While he was here, I asked about another possible problem I thought I might have in the bath tub drain. But instead of taking advantage of me, the nice man gave me some simple advice that worked perfectly. Honesty is hard to come by in the plumbing industry. I have been calling George and Jamie at Superior Plumbing to fix my plumbing issues for years. The first time we called them was on a holiday weekend. We came home from church to find water running down our driveway. We thought we'd have to deal with the issue for days until someone would come out. Instead, Jamie came on a Sunday and George even brought us a new water heater from the warehouse so we wouldn't have to run around getting one ourselves with our infant. Another time they came out to save the day when the plumbing completely clogged up during our daughter's slumber party. I never hesitate to contact Superior Plumbing with any issue, big or small. They are honest, friendly, reliable, professional, and timely.
Amazing men they have working for this company. Thank you for telling us what our property management wouldn't! Thank you, because of you're honest licensed plumbers we finally got real answers!

I had a shower valve that was not closing off and water continuing to run. Old plumbing was failing, so I called Superior Plumbing and explained the problem to George. He was very detailed in explaining the correction steps to repair the leak. He sent a plumber right out to start the repair. Will arrived and first tried to replace the valve's core but it was locked into the brass housing. After several attempts to extract it, it was decided the entire brass valve needed to be replaced.$$$$ 1,350.00 replacement cost. Then we cut a hole through the back side of the wall for access and the valve was replaced.
Then, the bathroom sink started running water and would not close off. What timing and luck Will had all of the replacement parts in his truck. Installed a new matching sink valve and replaced all the water supply lines and close-off valves for the sink. Lots of work and $1,854.00 for the total repair and parts included.. George and Will did a great job, no leaks and the Wife's happy again. The only one crying is my credit card. $1,854.00.

Superior Plumbing agreed to come out to look at what I thought was a slab leak. The appt was scheduled for Friday afternoon and they would probably not be able to repair it that day but they would be able to identify the leak and go over my options with me. On the day of the appt Jeff called early to tell me he could be over right away if I was available. Once there he began looking for the leak and eventually determined it was in the wall. They were able to fix it that day.
The technician Jeff was very professional and did a great job. I would absolutely go with Superior Plumbing again for any plumbing jobs in the future.
I could not turn off my shower!! I called Superior Plumbing and they sent a plumber out very quickly. I usually have the owners son, Jeff, come to my house when I have a problem as he is a very good plumber! But Jeff was busy, so they sent Will! Will was prompt, friendly, had mask on, and very quickly took care of my shower!! He gave me suggestions for some plumbing services to consider to offset future problems. I really appreciate the no pressure and good service and great price they gave me!! I will call Superior for all my plumbing needs!
I called Superior Plumbing Services for service, Will came and did an excellent job. I have dealt with Will for years and he has always been very professional and honest for his services.
I have water coming out from under the kitchen sink cabinet as well as out to back of house. Superior came first thing in the morning. Track down the leak to a cracked pipe in the wall. They explained the whole process to me, gave estimate, replaced pipe, & cleaned up nicely. Jamie was very pleasant to work with. They are my go to plumber.
I called Jeff a few times for various problems from a non-working disposal, to adjusting our water softener, to fixing our toilet. In two out of three situations, Jeff talked me through fixing the issues myself. He asked a lot of great questions and told me what to do. He could have come out to my house and charge me a fee just to assess the situation, like all the other plumbers we called. But Jeff is one of the few trustworthy plumbers who isn't out to make a quick buck. Feels like he really values his customers and he saved me hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend this company.

Excellent service from Jamie.
So far so good with the expert work from Jamie. He came out and unclogged my washer drain and my main sink 2 months ago. I should have called them out 2 years ago when others could not unclogged these. He recommended ways to prevent future issues. I had forgotten to review his work but after 2 month and the wife has not bugged me about unclogging the washer, i was reminded to post this. Happy wife Happy life:).

Great Service and Fair Pricing!
For weeks, I watched as a water spot on the ceiling of my master bedroom slowly grew. I finally decided that I'd better call a plumber and get the problem taken care of. Having not used a plumber in the past, I found Superior Plumbing on Yelp and gave them a call.
I set an appointment and Will arrived promptly. He quickly diagnosed a pin hole leak in a copper pipe located in the unfinished attic above my bedroom. He promptly replaced a section of pipe that had slowly deteriorated due to some shoddy work by the builders. He even checked the house water pressure to ease my concerns that the pressure on our interior plumbing was too high.
Will was extremely professional, personable and efficient. And the pricing was very fair. I hope I don't have to see them again for a long time, but if I have another plumbing issue, they will get my call. I would highly recommend Superior Plumbing!

My mother lives in an old 1930s-vintage home in Orange. The old shower faucets developed a leak. I live in another state, so my task was to find somebody using the web that could fix the leak.
I knew from my own experience fixing things at Mom's house that Home Depot had nothing that even remotely resembled these old solid brass fixtures.
Superior came out, looked at the shower, and explained to me over the phone that they might not be able to find replacements, and so we might have to replace the entire shower.
But as it happened, Superior was able to find and install replacements the same day! The price was very reasonable.
Everything was explained clearly and courteously to me. You'll get hard-sell scare tactics from other plumbing outfits in the Orange area. But not from Superior Plumbing.

Another call to Superior for a semi-urgent issue, another great experience with Jaime. The disaster of the day was coming home and finding a break in an above-ground pipe with water spraying everywhere. I explained that there was no flood, so help within the afternoon was going to be fine. Jamie called when he was on his way, showed up very quickly, and repaired the damaged pipe. I appreciate that Superior always responds quickly and offers advice on addressing the problem in the interim. I continue to go to them first and have always been happy with the timely service.

I called Superior Plumbing to fix a shower leak that was getting worse by the hour. They responded same day in the late afternoon. Came to the house, pulled apart the fixture, and determined the part that was necessary. The next morning, Dustin called to say he had obtained the part in Garden Grove and would be there in an hour to install it. Dustin installed the part by 9:00 am and the shower was back up and running in less than 24 hours. The price was fair for all the running around they had to do to find the part and the quick fix. Great service, courteous and responsive. Would definitely use again.
I used Superior almost 10 years ago and was impressed, so I them first to have our water heater repaired or replaced. The same owner -George -answered and said the same plumber -Jamie- would call me to arrange the job. Literally 2 minutes later Jamie was on his way. No pressure or upseilling B.S. -they give it to you straight and let you decide the option. In this case it made more sense to replace. Jamie went to the shop to pick up the appropriate heater and had it in the same afternoon. There is something to be said about consistent, long-term companies and the folks at Supeior are just that. No stress and everything is up to current code!

I had a leak from the upstairs bathroom to the downstairs bath. I wasn't sure where the leak came from since it was intermittent. I suspected a drain or a toilet leak but there was no drywall damage.
Will came out and was very pleasant. He had his PPE on and came to inspect the area. He determined the shower over sprayed a corner and dropped over into the cracked grout. It leaked downstairs. This explains the intermittent leak. So glad it wasn't anything major. Will was honest and very skilled at what he does.
Highly recommend.
I've had more than one great experience with this company. When Jamie came to fix my toilet, he was very professional, he called before arriving, explained everything that needed to be done and gave me a quote up front. He worked quickly and efficiently, patiently answered all my questions and gave good recommendations for other things I need done. I highly recommend Jamie and Superior Plumbing Services!
Very good response time. Also after they installed a new toilet it leaked a little bit from the tank. When I called them back about it, they came out to fix it the same day. They also replaced a kitchen faucet and it seems to be working fine.
Superior Plumbing repaired a disintegrated 60 year-old cast iron main drain underneath a cement slab (difficult work). The team was very experienced, prompt and professional with good communication. The business is a definite recommend.

I found Superior Plumbing Services through yelp. My Rheem tankless water heater was giving error code. Rheem customer service was not helpful. Will fixed the problem and George the manager was very pleasant to deal with. Will was friendly, explained everything and worked on the tank and it was still giving error code so I thought it wasn't fixed, however, after a few days error code stopped. It's been over a month now without any issues so I'm confident it's fixed. I'd definitely recommend these guys. These guys picks up calls or calls you back in a reasonable time.
I was informed by So Cal Gas that I had a severe gas leak in the front of my house. They shut my gas off until repaired. My first call was to Superior Plumbing (a mistake). Will came out to take a look and I could see he did not want to do the job. He quoted me a price 4 times that of any other plumber who I subsequently called. He, then, charged me an estimate fee of $98 which I stupidly paid. If this is they way Superior runs their business, stay away.
Update: Received a call from George, the owner, after viewing this review. He stated he will discuss this situation with Will to determine what happened. He appreciated knowing this occurred because his company does not operate like this. He reimbursed the $98.

I am about to start a number of renovations for my house and had a lot of questions regarding water softeners versus water conditioners, repiping, and tank versus tankless water heaters. One of Superior's technicians (Jeff Shaw) stopped by and spent about an hour, giving me very detailed information, based on the house's current system and needs. He knew I already had talked to a general contractor since there was more than plumbing work and knew that there might not be much work for them. Nevertheless, he marked all of the trouble spots and how they should troubleshoot them as necessary. He appeared very knowledgable and trustworthy. If I ever need a plumber, I am going to straight to Superior!
Really awesome, honest service by Jamie. He did a speedy job and was on time. I called around 9:30 AM and by noon our garbage disposal was back in action!
We were impressed with Superior Plumbing Services! They answered and were at our office within 30 minutes. Jamie was great, and resolved our issue with no problem. I would definitely recommend him to others!

Superior plumbing is hands down the best plumbing company I've ever used! George (maybe the owner?) is always nice answering the phone and he is a wealth of knowledge. We had a leak in our shower drain pipe and the company I called before Superior said they would need to cut my slab and the estimate was $2000. Will came out and said he could fix it without cutting my slab and he sure did. Saved me tons of money and his work was impeccable. I called again this week for two unrelated plumbing issues. Jeff came and the man is a plumbing genius. He troubleshot a tankless water heater with recirculation pump problems and it was quite clear to me that Jeff 100% knows what he is talking about. My fiancé and I moved into a new house and after a week and a half we encountered plumbing issues. We called Superior and Will came out earlier than expected and diagnosed the issue quickly and did an excellent job fixing the issue. He also gave my fiancé excellent advice! I reached out to various plumbers for an estimate on swapping out my existing water heater. Jeff was very helpful in taking me through the various pros and cons of tanked and tankless water heaters. I appreciated his honesty in finding me the best product for my situation.

Called Superior Plumbing for a pipe leak on Friday of Memorial Day weekend. They sent Will to evaluate of the problem: a slab leak!
Will was able to diagnose and isolate the problem pipe and he called out a team of experts to control the property damage (emergency restoration services) and implement a resolution (epoxy pipe lining). Will and the broader team did a fantastic job working through the weekend to mitigate the impact and have my plumbing back up and running in the shortest time possible.

I have used Superior Plumbing for a variety of issues. Once when my hot water heater started leaking at night I called a so-called 24-hour plumbing service. When I got their answering machine, I called Superior hoping they could respond in the morning. The owner called me that night to be sure I knew how to turn off the water going into the hot water heater; he answered questions I had about tankless systems versus a new tank and they were at my house first thing in the morning with a new hot water heater.
No matter what the issue, they always communicate well as to when they will arrive and are very clear on the costs - including items that they may not be able to predict. They never try to push for something more than is needed. They explain what they're doing and why so that anyone can understand.
They're the best - call them and you won't be sorry.
Another great job. Will replaced my 20+ year old water heater as well as bring everything up to code. A work completed in a few hours. Will also had helpful tips on proper maintenance of the water heater. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I had a toilet issue last week and spoke to George. I was surprised how helpful and informative he was. He talked me through to the things I could do first. I dealt with others before and they weren't this helpful and they just want to schedule you right away. Anyway, Jamie came to help me with my problem. He was punctual and like George, very informative. Like most reviews they will not try to sell you anything you don't need and they guarantee their work.
Called Superior to my rental Property for a toilet issue. They were able to turn a technician around and be at the door within 15 minutes. Jamie showed up, quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it and taught me a few things along the way. He was friendly fast and obviously experienced. Pricing was very fair considering how quickly they arrived and had my problem solved.
The job got done but they are way too expensive. The plumber thought the problem was the wax ring on the toilet and quoted me $200 to do that. Once he took the toilet out he saw the drain was filled with water and obviously clogged. Suddenly it's an ADDITIONAL $229 to unclog it with the machine. At this point I don't have a choice. The machine was running for no more than 5 or 6 seconds before it was unclogged. I feel at that point the price should have been adjusted.
We had a leak in our water spigot in the front yard and also the shut off valve that was attached to it. Superior was able to give us a quote via email, which was great. The plumber arrived early and was knowledgeable when answering my questions. He did a perfect job. It was a small job, so I appreciate the care he took in doing it well. Mostly, he was a polite, friendly and decent guy. I will definitely call for future work and recommend to neighbors!
This morning I called them to try to figure out what went wrong with my water heater... the guy was great! Super friendly and he was able to explain it over the phone. Cheers!! Thank you!

We have use George and his crew for years. Always fair quick and efficient.
This was my best experience with a service person in my home.
First, they were able to make an appointment that fit into my schedule. Then when my schedule changed they were able to come a day earlier. John called before arriving to let me know he was on his way.
He arrived on time and was professional, neat and understood all the work I wanted done. He communicated back to me everything he would do in detail, and provided the cost of the work before starting. He protected the area around the work area and his work was very clean and efficient. After finishing he showed me the completed work, explaining everything in detail as to what he did and why.
I will be using Superior Plumbing again in the future.
Jamie helped us again to fix our shower that was only delivering hot water, water coming out from
both shower head and faucet. ( a plumber before said that it was better not to mess with fixing the water coming out from below and above) Jamie fixed those problems and also changed some flushers and replaced a handle that was frozen by the toilet tank in another bathroom. Again it was a fair price. We will continue to use Superior Plumbing in the future and always request Jamie.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! We just moved into our home a few weeks ago and wouldn't you know it we're already having some problems. My husband decided to break the shower the other day and we could not get the water to stop shooting out. We had to shut off the water to the whole house which was not ideal since I have two small children at home! I gave Superior Plumbing Services a call around 8am and was told someone would be able to come by later that morning. Only a few hours later Jeff came by and in no time was able to address the problem and fix it right then and there. No beating around the bush, no trying to sell me stuff I didn't need, no using terms I didn't know, just plain and simple here's your problem and here's how we can fix it. Thank you so much for everything Jeff and Superior Pluming. You can bet I'll be recommending you do everyone I know and you have a new customer for life.
Our water heater had reached the end of its 17 year life and started leaking, so it was time for a replacement, so naturally, we called Superior Plumbing because of the excellent service we had received previously. It was July 4th weekend, but thankfully Jamie was willing to come out and take a look. He drained and took out the old water heater and replaced it with a new one in within a few hours and we were up and running with hot water! Jamie was very knowledgeable and talented and I commend him for that. He also mentioned that our water regulator was defective and needed to be replaced because it may lead to slab leaks. I didn't fully understand it, but I trusted his judgment and scheduled for his return in the following week.
Jamie came and replaced the water regulator. That night, after the work was completed, we noticed that the shower water pressure was significantly lower, as well as washing dishes would take twice as long due to the lower volume of water. I was not expecting this side effect so we called Jamie again. He came the next day and inspected all the faucets and showers and concluded that they were functioning properly. However, we were still not happy because it felt like we were paying for a downgrade.
After much arguing with Jamie and George (over the phone), Jeff and Jamie came one more time to solve the problem once and for all. They went through each shower and adjusted them until we got the water pressure that we were satisfied with. They also found a kink in the hosing for the kitchen sink, which is why we had lower water pressure, especially for the hot water. After all their hard work, we had as good water pressure as we had before! They explained that we had gotten accustomed to the high water pressure from our previous failed water regulator and with the functioning water regulator, we were experiencing lower water pressure. However, they made modifications inside so that we could enjoy the same water pressure as before but at a level that complies with the state regulation.
Jamie, Jeff, and George are excellent plumbers and are very concerned with customer satisfaction. They went the extra mile when the customer (me) was not happy and made sure that we were. I also apologize for any difficulties that you had experienced when working with us.

Will came out to assess our low water pressure issues and it took him 15 minutes to determine that our water softener unit was the problem. I actually thought it was our pressure regulator valve off the main water line that was failing. Will was professional and friendly and worked quickly to determine that cause. So I now have the water softener unit bypassed and will need to have that replaced. Oh and our water pressure is solid. Thank you Superior Plumbing Services.

The company was very professional to deal with. Jeff from Superior Plumbing did a fantastic job and provided some great, relevant advice to us in the process. He and the company went above and beyond what they promised and the pricing was very fair. The work was very professional and he left the premises just as clean as when he started.
We will definitely be using them again for some new installations and other work that we are thinking of having done.
I had a great experience with Superior Plumbing. I called around 6pm about a clogged bathroom sink and they scheduled someone to come out to my house first thing the next morning. The plumber arrived on time and was very curteous. He was really professional and explained everything he was doing and was very complete explaining what he was charging and what work was done. I think they are a little bit more expensive than other companies, for a clogged sink it cost me $110- but I needed it done fast, effectively, and professionally so I didn't mind. I would use them again.
I called superior plumbing at 11pm on Friday night expecting to get answering machine/service. To my great surprise George picked up the phone. My kitchen drain backed up that night after dinner. Jamie was dispatched to my house the next morning and by 9am he's done, problem solved.

Jaime came out and gave a reasonable quote after analyzing the problem. Quick work and the line was working great. Very professional and a pleasure to do business with.
We had an issue with water pressure for our sink and shower in a couple of our bathrooms. I found superior plumbing here on yelp and someone contacted me almost immediately to get me on the schedule. Will was great and he was knowledgeable! He was in and out and handled it quickly. Thanks Superior!
I called them for an emergency job and they responded promptly. The office had the technician call me and we went through what needed to be done and he showed up for what needed to be done; a leaking pipe that could have caused thousands in damages.
One hour later and only $165 out of pocket the pipe was cut and replaced and there was no longer a leak.
I'm not sure if they work after hours but when I needed them during the day they came through!

John responded to my home the same morning that I called. He said he would be at my location in 10 minutes and he was here in 10. He crawled under my home and took a look at the leaking copper water line, that was spraying hot water under my raised foundation home. He gave me a fair,written,firm price and told him to proceed. He replaced the leaking section promptly, but than found an additional leak above the repair that required removal of the piece as well. All was done for the quoted price of $260.00. I had also asked him about water seeping from the seal under the toilet located near the leak. He asked about when the seeping was first noticed and since the toilet had not been used for at least three weeks he felt that because the toilet was firmly mounted on the flange, that hot, steamy water spraying up form the hot water leak was the cause. He checked the to see that the toilet was firmly mounted to the flange and told me to see if that didn't stop the seeping. He didn't leave until I was satisfied with the repair. It was my first time using Superior and I think we'll be seeing them again in the future.

This is my first time using Superior Plumbing and would definitely use them again. I called on Friday and explained the issue with our kitchen sink backing up. Jamie came came out the following Saturday morning within the agreed time. He explained our options and took care of the problem within one hour.

We called during a water emergency. Jeff sent Will out within an hour~ Will saved the day-we were back to normal.
Then, a few days later, when work from a previous plumbers fix broke and caused water emergency #2, we panicked. But once again, Will came the rescue!

Excellent service! I called with a sink back-up and had someone at my house within an hour. Jamie took a look at the problem and gave me a fair price before he moved forward. I mentioned a second issue that I wasn't sure he could fix. He explained how I would be wise, and save money, to wait on that and make the fix at the same time I was replacing a faucet anyway.
I appreciate that their plumber, Jamie, was polite, tidy, honest and a very nice guy. I will definitely use them again.
I can do a few plumbing jobs but one of them went wrong (the copper pipe broke off at the end when I tried to remove the valve). So I called and spoke to George, who gave me the best info he could over the phone. There was no way I could fix it myself so Jeff came out the same day (about five hours later, which was good) and did the job, and it was not an easy job. He needed to cut into the drywall, cut the end of the copper pipe (which was attached to a t-piece), solder a coupling and another piece of pipe on, and then put the new valve on. Sounds like it's not too hard but I watched him and it did take some skill to do it. If he hadn't been able to do it right the first time, it would have been alot more complex having to replace the t-piece.
But what impressed me more than anything else was the attitude and service. Jeff was as professional as any service person I've ever had in my home in 25+ years. He laid down a big towel to keep the area clean and vacuumed when he was done. I rent this place from someone so he also needed to navigate the landlord/tenant issues, which he did flawlessly. He also taught me what he was doing along the way and explained it in a way I understood.
Just a great experience and I will call them anytime I need anything done...and refer them to anyone who needs anything done.

I was so impressed with this company! I called to have my toilet tank fixed, expecting I would have to wait a few days for an appointment. Instead, they were able to send someone out the same day I called. They gave me a window of 12pm-3pm, and showed up at 1:15pm! Very unheard of for companies to show up so early in the window provided. Jamie was extremely efficient, professional and friendly. Not even 10 minutes later, my toilet was filling on it's own again. Best experience ever! Definitely recommend this company for any plumbing service needs.
We wanted to replace our electric stove top with gas and needed professional help. We called several plumbers and received estimates for the work but Superior Plumbing stood out from all the others. In speaking with George (the owner) on the phone, he asked great questions and freely shared information that helped us understand the complexities of the project so we knew what options we had. Will was the technician that came to our house and carefully assessed the project without rushing through or making quick decisions (unlike others) so we decided to go ahead with the work.
Will returned at a later date to do the installation of the gas line and he was very careful to make sure everything was to code plus he answered all of my endless questions. The final result (running the line from the gas meter versus a T from an existing line) was the right decision and we are now happily cooking our meals on the new gas stove top. We are very thankful for the opportunity to work with George and Will --- two very smart, personable and professional men.
The first call we make for any future plumbing work at our house will be to Superior Plumbing.

Americans have been eating crow since the war of 1812, but we still haven't found a recipe to make it taste any better. I may as well get this over with. Please ignore the black feathers sticking in my teeth.
My earlier outrage over the Infamous Faucet Failure in my kitchen was fueled by some misinformation which was fed to me by two plumbers which were apparently of the inferior type. Now I can appreciate why Superior Plumbing dares to name itself so boastfully; if you really can bring it, why not?
Upon seeing my negative Yelp review, Jeff contacted me right away and practically begged a chance to make it right. It is not an exaggeration to state that he and his staff went out of their way to look up the invoice from 2008, searched the internet for a model that could replace my discontinued Price Pfister, and urged me to give them the go ahead to order it ASAP so that they could come to my home and install it -- all free of charge to me. His attitude was sincere and apologetic; at no time was there any hint of defensiveness or annoyance, or any argument about my situation.
So one week later, Jeff is in my kitchen pulling apart the spray head: and by Jove, in 5 minutes he fixes it! Had the previous professionals who examined my faucet known what to look for, they could have, also. But the fact is, they hadn't known. Thanks, guys..
Nonetheless, we have the replacement model Price Pfister faucet sitting there, which Price Pfister sent free of charge because they guarantee the quality of their products...in this case, a product that hadn't been faulty, after all. It was actually an upgrade from my current kitchen faucet. Still, there are no I told you sos but only an explanation about how older homes with galvanized pipes can have this problem. Cheerfully, Jeff took an hour of his time to install the new faucet for me. It is a wonderful faucet, and I couldn't be a more satisfied customer.
So what is the moral of this lesson if not You get what you pay for.? Yes I still say Superior is pricey compared to other plumbing services with which I have had the displeasure of dealing, but they back it up with unconditional guarantees and excellence of service. I have come to understand what an important factor that is in deciding on who will work on my home.
Thank you Superior Plumbing for being so quick and courteous about this whole mess. You didn't deserve the one star rating after all! Hopefully this update can salvage things a bit.

Jeff came out to our house on 12/15/14 and he was so amazing. He answered all of our dumb questions and diagnosed everything and replaced anything we needed. The greatest part? The parts and service call were COMPLETELY reasonably priced.

I called Superior Plumbing and spoke with George regarding a Home Warranty issue. George was very professional and helpful and gave me every scenario I could run into. Even though they no longer do warranty work I would recommend them based on the phone customer service and professional demeanor alone.

Amazing service and top-notch quality. Call the night before for kitchen drain problem. Prompt service the next day...excellent customer support (George) and on-site work (Jeff). A+.
Terrible experience with superior plumbing. The job was quoted as needing many hours of work and being very complicated, but actual labor time to completion of work was exactly 1 hour to replace a leaking drain pipe. The bill? $523. What's worst is the technician (Jaime) left the water running for 5 minutes to diagnose the issue and in doing so, made the issue worse. Water came out from underneath the cabinet (which he blamed on painters in the home, who never touched the kitchen sink that AM). He didn't bother to ask any questions or get clarifications when he didn't find a leak and instead let the water run. Which plumber in his right mind would do such a thing and watch water run from from underneath cabinets onto the kitchen floors? We now have to hire a remediation company to reverse the damage that was caused and potentially switch out some cabinetry.
I can let all of the above go, but the final straw was how management decided to handle the issue. The level of entitlement, arrogance, and utter disregard from the owner from the company, George, was on a level I've never experienced before. When the issue was described to him, he did not stop for a minute to show any understanding from the customer's point of view. His attitude was condescending and defensive from beginning to end despite me politely explaining the issue to him, interrupted and talked over me 6 times, and ended the conversation with, We can't make everybody happy. I guess he is right. He certainly didn't make me happy, and I highly recommend my fellow yelpers to think twice before making the same mistake I did.
There are many qualified plumbers in the area. No reason to work with a company that performs sloppy work and completely disregards customer service.
P.s. I should have looked closer before falling for the high yelp review rating. Many are from reviewers with limited history/# of reviews. Clear warning sign.
Note: These guys will bribe you to remove negative reviews. Another warning sign. On principle, customers should not be cheated to start only to be offered reimbursement upon getting reviewed candidly. In the interest of the Yelp community, I decided to post this review for the greater good of all.
Can't say enough about the service. We had an after hour emergency and Jamie came out and fixed the problem in no time even though they don't normally work after hours. They know their stuff and are up with the latest technology.
I needed to change plumbing coming into my house so that it wouldn't interfere with new masonry work I'm doing on the house. I asked for a quote through yelp and the company responded immediately. They provided some very helpful information in their email and called to discuss the job. Their plumber Jamie came out at the time they said he would. I explained my concerns but I was not sure how we could change the plumbing (a side connection for a pressure regulator, soldered copper) to clear the new pavers I'm having installed .
Their plumber came up with a very good solution that I hadn't consider. He had to replace a shutoff valve and a pressure regulator that was not working properly (water pressure from the street is 100psi and the shutoff valve wasn't sealing closed completely. The old pressure regulator wasn't working at all). They explained every step of the process and I am very happy with the solution they came up with for my situation. They were professional and the prices were very reasonable for a licensed plumber. I would definitely recommend this company for plumbing needs.

Superior Plumbing offers the very best service. I had a plumbing emergency on a Saturday afternoon. The shower would not turn off. Every plumber I called before them was either closed or couldn't make it out until the evening. George was very helpful over the phone. He came over right away. He not only fixed the problem quickly and efficiently, but explained to my husband exactly what happened and how. Superior's price was very reasonable as well. Thanks Superior! I will continue to use their service from now on.
I have had Jamie from Superior Plumbing come to my home twice. Both times he was punctual, friendly and very knowledgeable. He was always honest as to whether it was a fix it or replace it situation. Superior Plumbing services were always done in a timely and proficient manner and Jamie was a very nice service professional to have in our home. I definitely plan to continue to use Superior for my future plumbing needs.

Fastest to show up for an estimate. Price ended up being the second lowest of 5 bids. Jamie did a professional job that looks like it will last a long time. Good price and good quality workmanship.
We had a blockage in our shower and needed a plumber. I called Superior and they arrived within 2 hours and fixed the problem. Jamie was our technician. I recently used Superior Plumbing and found them to be honest, responsive, and reasonable. Jeff answers his phone and doesn't recommend things that are unnecessary. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future.

Water Heater ignition control was bad , unable to lit it automatically.
Called them and quoted prices on the phone, owner was clear on the steps and what if conditions.
Within few hours , same day , Jamie quickly replaced with new water . Overall happy , so far new issues.

I'm a business person and I deal with all types of business professionals. Every once in a while you come across one that is trustable, reliable, extremely knowledgeable/competent and goes that extra mile to help. (Rare these days)
Well, I came across one today. Jeff is all of those and more. I spoke with a bunch of plumber technicians in Irvine and they were rude, incompetent and just wanted to get my personal info and technician out to my house before even discussing services.
Jeff, on the other hand, took time out to talk with me about the issues and gave me very valuable steps to solve my problem without trying to charge me and arm and a leg.
I'm happy I found my new plumbing source in Irvine!! Thank you Jeff!

Oh boy, am I glad I found Superior Plumbing! I have used them in the past and I knew could count on them. I tired to do a repair on the shower in the master bedroom and naturally I screwed it up. As a side note just let me say just because someone put a video of what you want to do on Youtube and it looked easy it just might not be. I wanted to change the cartridge on my wife's side of the shower. I did just as I saw on the video, however the cartridge was stuck in the valve body and wouldn't budge. While trying to get it unstuck I broke off the stem that holds on the shower handle. Luckily the shower valve as in the off position so I waited until morning to call Superior. I called Superior and Jamie came by in about an hour. He looked at the job and tried to reassure me, at the same time letting me know what would happen if he couldn't undo what I screwed up. After about 1 1/2 hours he was able to carefully drill out the part without causing any damage to the valve body. It took a lot of skill to do what he did and I am glad I called Superior again!

I had a great experience with superior plumbing. I called at around noon and had a new hot water heater installed by 5:30 p.m. when I first called, I was asked to describe the problem. I was also asked to send photographs of my water heater. After only about 5 minutes I got a call back with a suggestion to try something else to resolve the problem without requiring a service call. I tried the fix that was recommended, but it didn't work. So I called back and explained that I still didn't have any hot water. Jeff from Superior plumbing was at my house within about 2 hours. He was very efficient, and very clean. By 5:30 I had a new hot water heater that worked perfectly. I really appreciated superior plumbings quick response and availability to help solve my problem.

They were excellent, honest and responsive!
Before I used Superior Plumbing to unclog my kitchen sink. I had called another company that was heavily advertised in the local mailer and Google. After I got I almost got conned into spending over a thousand dollars on a hundred plus dollar job, I found that other company on yelp with only 3 stars. Moral of the story: I should have checked them out on yelp before having them come!! Feel free to look through my posts to get the name of that company.
So I called the other company because they had a very low advertised price for drain declogging. The moment they walked in my door, they asked a few questions and without even touching the drain, they tried to upsell me on the hydro jet that was 18x more expensive (read my other post for details).
In the end, when Superior Plumbing Services came they threaded the snake, got through the clot, but then continued to work the stoppage for several minutes to make sure it didn't clot again. They were in and out in less than a half an hour.
I am very pleased with their effort and honesty and responsiveness. I will definitely use them again!
Over charged for a 20 min job.
The owner said the job should be covered by $98 plus expense for the parts- unless they have to open up the wall.
Our home inspector said the job requires just the replacement of shower mixer- which was the case.
The plumber just replaced the shower mixer. He charged me $325 and told me that the part is very expensive.
I find out the part is $57.99 on amazon.
Contacted owner again and he claims the labor is over $200.
