This morning (11/3/22), one of Wiley's plumbers driving their van on W. 7th St. between Sun Valley and Golden Valley was driving erratically and overly aggressively considering the roads were a sheet of ice. (I have the license plate if someone wants it.) While vehicles were spinning out and pulling over because they couldn't get up the road, this person was inches from my bumper. On any given day with perfect road conditions this kind of driving is unacceptable, but this morning careful driving was especially crucial. Then, he PASSED me on a two-lane road. This cretin could have easily killed someone this morning. What a way to advertise who people should NOT call when they have plumbing needs. I'll be sure to share with all my friends and family to go with literally any company.

Had an employee of this organization flip me off the other day at a light when I had the right of way. Got the whole thing captured on dash cam. Real professional dude.

I have always had a good experience with this company.  Contrary to the other review, I think they had a bad technician that time and it was probably communicated poorly (don't know).  Anyway, my experience has been good.  We did a kitchen and bath remodel and everything was fast and all of it looks great (1 full baths and kitchen).  Jason and his team coordinated with my demands to get things done on a fast schedule.  PERFECT!  Plus, on our rental, we had a new sink and faucet installed, plus re-did the sewer line in the back.  That was a ton of work - all went smoothly.

Honesty, dependability, and reliability - what a joke! My experience was nothing shy of lying, deceiving and cheating.  I just ran my credit report today and there was an item from Wiley's from years ago.

They were hired to replace a water heater which was located in the kitchen of my rental unit.  During the installation their technician broke the kitchen faucet while testing the water heater for it's proper installation.  He even admitted to the tenant I hope I didn't break that before he departed the home.  I guess this is the honesty part.  When I called Wiley's to inquire and explain the situation, their receptionist said she would have to speak to the technician and the owner and get back to me.  She never called me back in several days, so I had to call them again.  I guess their definition and my definition of dependability are drastically different.

In any case, the receptionist said the technician would be sent to the home to fix the appliance.  As he was.  Several days after the faucet was fixed, I received a bill for the work order.  Are you kdding me?  I called the office again and explained to the receptionist, I had no intention of paying the bill.  Why? She asked.  Because why should I pay for something they broke.  I already paid them for the water heater, which was a service rendered.  She told me I called them to have the faucet fixed so why shouldn't they bill me.  I told her because what you fixed you broke. She tried to reason with me and her point was I called them for the service call.   Did she really think I would have called Wiley's a second time and hire them to do any work in my house after the 1st time came to fix something they broke something else.  I asked to speak to the owner and she said she would have him call me.  Guess what?  I never heard from him.  I left at least 5 messages over weeks with no return call back.  If they were so reliable and thought they were right, one would think they would call me to discuss and plead their case - which they didn't.  They chose to send me to collections.

If that isn't cheating the system, I don't know what is.  They were deceitful when they sent that technician out the 2nd time.  Their description of their company is they stop at nothing to ensure your satisfaction.  Again, I guess thier definition of satisfaction is very different than mine.  They knew all along they were going to bill me.  How do they sleep at night?

Since writing my original review in 2015, I've had wileys do all my plumbing related work. In fact moments ago, I literally just had Ralph come over to help with a clogged drain and I could not have been more impressed. I was on a call for work but Ralph waited patiently while I tried to jump off my call. Ralph was in great spirits and took care of the plumbing challenge really quick. I apologized profusely to him for being so rude and he was completely understanding.

At our house, We have a running joke that when I mess something up plumbing related or need something plumbing related to be fixed, its time to call Ralph! I will always call Ralph @ Wiley's first for anything plumbing related! Thanks Guys!

Ralph J has fixed multiple things in my apartment. He is so kind (even when he's been called at 9pm) and obviously fixes our plumbing issues!! I highly recommend Wiley's and Ralph, specifically!

We needed to replace our heating and air conditioning system and put in a new water heater.  We got three quotes - one outrageously high, another half the price, and Wiley's was $1,000 more than that.  We chose Wiley's because the staff came across as very knowledgeable and professional.  The Wiley's quote included a full explanation of what would be done and it was typewritten.  The lesser quote was handwritten, barely legible, and it was unclear what would be done.  Wiley's was on time, everything went very smoothly and was completed the same day.  We highly recommend Wiley's.

Travel time $40, me thinks not. Along with the minimum service charge $80. Be very careful. I learned of this charge after I called them to enquire why I was charged for 2 hours service when the technician was in my house for 1.5 hours

This is a horribly disorganized business. We requested an estimate. A guy came and let us know that he didn't have his estimator with him, so basically we took time to meet with him for nothing. He assured us that his estimator would get in touch with us, but quite a bit of time has transpired and it hasn't happened. We are not going to hunt him down, because we have gone ahead and hired a different (competent and organized) company.

Wiley's came out for a weekend repair of a bathroom sink in a rental home we own in Sept 2017 (I know, late post)... the pop-up assembly needed to be removed and replaced (true cost about $25 for the part and 45 minutes of labor)
Their charges....
2.25 hours straight time
.75 overtime after hours
$161.70 for bronze pip-up
$3 fuel charge
A total of $417.83, which if anybody is familiar with that issue, knows them charging me this much should be a crime!!!!!!

Never, ever again!  The guy broke a piece, had to go get a replacement and charged us for the piece he broke and time spent to get it.  The house is about 3 minutes from Lowe's but he was gone for 1 1/2 hours.  He fiddled around and finally completely the work in a record 6 1/2 hours.  We've had the same work done on our primary residence by a different plumber (who was unavailable for this job due to his time constraints).  The plumber who did the work in our primary residence finished in less than four hours!  That equals 2 1/2 hours at $85.00/hour that Wiley over-charged, plus marking up the price of the piece that had to be replaced.  It was marked up 500%.
What a rip!  Go with this company if you want to waste your money and time.  If both are important to you get ANY other company!

Wiley's duct cleaning service just completed.  Matt worked five plus hits straight on our house.

After explaining the process thoroughly, he set up the equipment and began.  Before packing up his equipment, he again told us what he did and found.  He then tested the heating and air conditioning systems.

Matt has over ten years experience at cleaning ducts and dryer vents.  It shows.

This was my third attempt with plumbers to get a bathroom sink leaky faucet and a broken bathtub diverter repaired. I was getting discouraged and concerned that there were some major issues which would require extensive and costly repairs.  Fortunately I met with Kevin, I could tell right away that he knew exactly what the problem was, he had all the tools available in his truck and had both issues resolved in 30 minutes. I will only use this company from now on the properties that I own. They are  professional from the people in their office to their staff in the field.

I was without heat for an entire weekend with temps outside in the 30's and my house at 52-55 degrees.  Couldn't figure out what was wrong with my furnace or thermostat and the furnace just kept blowing cold air into my house.  I called Wiley Plumping and heating an they were very very kind and quick to arrange help for me.  I waited VERY little time for for the appropriate person to call me back and show up at my door.  They fixed my issue and got heat back in my house for we very quickly and were beyond nice and helpful about it.  I will be using Wiley for all of my future plumbing, heating and AC needs.  No question. I highly recommend them!

We used Wileys to run a gas line through our attic to the backyard, to the BBQ and then around the backyard to a firepit they did the gas line work for. Jesse was the supervisor who set up the work and made sure it was done right and on time. Max was the guy who did the work. These guys were always on time and the work they did was awesome. Everything passed inspection right away and they worked hard to make sure the work was done within a schedule we needed. I recommend these guys highly.

Had Wiley's install 2 new faucets in our master bathroom. Couldn't have been happier with their service... showed up on-time, and the job was done smoothly for a reasonable price. Will definitely keep them in mind for future plumbing needs!

I wish I had more stars to give Wiley's.  I am so thankful for Wiley's and their customer service - I WAS a customer of Sierra Air, do not use them! Sierra Air came out to do yearly service, I was on their preferred service program.  Technician that came, did not seem confident in what he was doing, spent time in attic and finally came down and said we have a problem, discovered the heat exchanger unit had cracks, corrosion and stress and there were traces of carbon monoxide through-out my house.  Mind you, I hire a company to be able to trust them.  The technician could not answer my questions, just asked if I had space heaters, I said no, and he basically had nothing to say, I called his manager, he started asking my questions like, am I experiencing headaches etc.  Also, I have detectors in my house none of them have gone off. So you could imagine how I was feeling at this point.  They said they would send out a new tech which turned out to be from their design department.  Turned out the first technicians tools he was using was faulty and was not working properly. At the end of the day, this guy had me talked into a sale of 7K, and pretty much worked off my emotions and fear.

Luckily, I spoke with a friend, referred me to Wiley's and I got a second opinion right away, Mike with Wiley's came out right away, he was very knowledgeable, eased my mind and made me feel comfortable that I was safe.  He went through my house checking for monoxide, no detection.  He said I do not need to replace my heater, that my heater was working fine, there was no detection of carbon monoxide and when I do need to replace it, it would be around 4000, not 7000. I asked him if he thought I should have them service the unit just in case Sierra Air didn't do it right, he said he was not comfortable charging me for a service I did not need. He went further on to explain how the monoxide detectors work, what to do if one did go off and that if I needed anything to please reach out to him.  When I asked a question, he knew the answer.  I also have a friend that works at a plumbing company here in town and also said Wiley's is fantastic.

If you want someone you can trust and a company that is honest and doesn't work off commission, reach out to Wiley's they are the best and looks out for your safety and best interest

Where do I start, we had a tech out in august last year to replace several faucet handles and fix leaks. That was done but the handles to the bathtub become harder and harder to turn and eventually became so hard to turn my older mother had to use silicone jar openers to turn the hot and cold water handles. They came back out in January and installed valve stems supplied by me that were the same brand/ make as the ones installed previously by them, their tech said they'd work. Well within 2 weeks we noticed a damp rug in the hallway just adjacent to the bathroom and pulled the rug, followed the water damage and found a massive leak when the cold water handle was turned on in the bathtub. Several weeks went by and we got a bill in the mail- once contacted the GM attempted to blame faulty materials for a misshapen O ring that was installed by their tech. The communication with the company have ceased and all blame for the leak is attempted to be placed on consumer bought materials? Now there is flooring damage and possibly mold in our wall. The GM doesn't believe they should be responsible for damages their tech caused.
