Wow! James is such an awesome guy! This is my second time using his company. My warranty company sent a plumber over that was so confused and recommended removing my tub or my cabinets in my guest bathroom just to figure out where my leak was coming from. I had to call my warranty company and beg them if I can use Spyder Plumbing and had a lot of faith in them finding out where my bathroom leak was coming from based off
my last experience, and of course no tub removing was necessary, they quickly found the leak from a little whole in the wall and repaired it that day. Awesome company I would most definitely recommend them.

I looked for reviews of companies that had at least a 4 star response. James answered the phone and said he would take a look at what I needed done the next day. I had a simple water loop I wanted installed so I could attach my water conditioner. I called other plumbers and I was quoted less for the job or they were too busy with other jobs to even come out and look at what I needed done. I guess I'm not a big enough account for them. The company that quoted less would do the plumbing job but that was it. James offered to do the whole install for the agreed upon price. That means he did the install of the water conditioner. The install of the water conditioner took longer than the loop but he was happy to do it.

He is very energetic and personable. He always answers texts.

I'm happy to say we have found ourselves a new plumber. So glad I went with him.

Quick response for an estimate. The repair wasn't an emergency so, understandably, they needed to get others in ahead of me. Still only took a couple days to get the repair done. But they didn't flush the line and I had to call them back out since my drip system wouldn't shut off. Came back out with no hassle

Well I really wish I can give this company 5 stars. The over all job was done great, but the communication between the office people, installers, and the boss were all jacked up. Spent most of my day trying to figure what time they would come. Also the boss Robert told me that if I ever needed a shower head installed they would come by and install it for free since they replaced my shower, well I called and Robert told me to text a number and they would come to my house. I txt and never got a txt or call back it's been over 2 weeks. I hope they have a better system or they will loose business.

They quoted me a great price for a new water heater and installation after I texted pictures over the phone, they didn't need to see it in person which saved me lots of time. They arrived promptly on time, removed the old water heater installed the new one in under 2 hours. Great service and it has been working wonderfully. This guy didn't actually do any work for me, but he did give me advice and a quote of installing something that wasn't very realistic for my house (come to find out). He didn't have to take the time to talk with me and give me extra tips and tricks for my specific plumbing issue, but he did. If I ever have something else go wrong with my house, I'm definitely calling this guy. Genuinely nice and honest with a willingness to be real and truthful with people!! Another review stated this guy was salt of the earth---they were absolutely correct in their assessment!!

We have used a few different plumbers for our offices and Spyder has definitely been the best, thus far.
Why, you ask?
Well they are super fast, follow up with you, have fair pricing, and most importantly HONEST.

I was quoted $9,000 by a different plumbing company for complicated pipe issues that turned out to be a simple toilet issue. (FYI - they even charged me $350 to perform an in depth diagnostic to find the issue.)
James and his team were able to schedule us for a FREE quote/estimate/diagnostic, found different pricing options for toilets AND installed the new unit, all within a week. You can tell he really cares about his clients and the work that his company does.

Just call Spyder Plumbing, without looking any further. They are the best plumbers we have ever dealt with!
James is a very kind and polite guy, he helped out in a timing pinch, his rates were incredibly reasonable and he ended up fixing 3 extra things for no extra charge because he was so quick in fixing our main issue!
He was the 4th plumber to come with the 3 other issues....and the first one to ACTUALLY fix it!
He was very clean and the house was left in a cleaner state when he left than when he arrived.

Called on a busted hot water heater. Spoke with Jen in the office and she was able to get me hooked up with a plumber, Jason, for the next morning. Jason arrived and within 2 hours had the new hot water heater installed, including a new pan and drain pipe. Great fast service, and at a very reasonable price. We needed a new water heater and ended up with a new Rinnai tankless. They had a great deal. I can't say enough about how they kept their word on the work, price, schedule--everything. They were good about setting my expectations of inspections and helping us through the process of permits (so glad they took care of all that!). They are all good. I hope I don't need them any time soon, but if/when I need any of their services, I know they'll come through for me. Thank you.

James (the owner) was friendly and did as he promised regarding scheduling calls and arrived on time. The work involved upgrading the bathrooms and adding water lines in the kitchen. They are god sent! Property sewer line was damaged beyond repair and water line; spewing RAW Sewage in front yard, driveway and everywhere. Called from TX, Emergency and received an estimate same day! Repair was done the following morning. Did extra work and repair that was discovered and the estimate stayed the same, Awesome!!!! I was looking for plumber on yelp who lived close to me n came across Spyder plumbing. I requested a quote on the web site at about 3:30 pm n immediately got a call from James. I explained i had 2 toilet water shut of valve leaking after i replaced the fill valves in them. He said the earliest time he could come out was tomorrow n i told him that i was working all day n wouldn't be home til after work. So James said to text him my address n he would be there as soon as he was done with the call he was at. As i was waiting i further inspected the leak n it was coming from the hose where it connected to the toilet n thought maybe i just need to replace the gasket in it. Well James n Jason arrived n inspected both toilets n found that i over tightened the plastic wing nut that caused the leaks. I told them that those wing nuts are a killer to deal which tore up my hands n Jason explained that those are made to be hand tightened n i asked when do u know when to stop tightening them n he said when your hand start to feel like they're being torn apart we all laughed. Jason made some adjustments to it by hand n further inspected it to make sure it was the problem n it was, yes no more leaks. Here i am thinking to myself what his going to charge me for this but to my surprise nada, zero, zilch n i said what? n he replied i actually didn't do anything, i Just wanna go home now n have a cold one. Wow!! This guys are genuine and honest plumbers. They're the prime example of superior customer service. This is what the valley needs more people like these guys which is rare. So no matter how minor or major work you need with your plumbing this guys are the greatest. Thx again James n Jason.

I called this company for a quote and never got a call back or text. Moving forward two days later and a guy answered the phone and said he was the owner. I said I had left a message and no call back and he didn't seem to care and started rambling how he was the only guy working and I asked for a quote which he gave me ranting again perhaps mistaken me for someone he didn't like? I wanted the work done as years ago they did great work from a employee named Jason. Anyway again no return call. I guess it's for the best as the owner doing crazy as hell and very mental. He suggested he got rid of his crew by the way.

James Broughten and Kurt Hoopes are easily the nicest and most dependable plumbers I have ever dealt with as a homeowner. I had a busted pipe in my front yard and a couple other issues inside my house that needed repair. After calling a few companies I found Spyder Plumbing and had a plumber out the next day. I ended up spending so much less than I thought I would to repair it and the time it took was half the time of my previous plumber. I hope I never have to call a plumber ever again but if I do, it'll for sure be them.

I LOVE THIS GUY. He is my new BFF as every step of the way was a pleasure working with him. The workmanship was impeccable and he James went out of his way to work around my schedule which included other tradesmen. Incomparable, amazing customer service! Just like the van says, Call A Plumber, Speak To A Plumber. It's highly unlikely that one could call any other company, get immediate advice and relief from a plumber, not a dispatch operator, and have communication with the technician prior to their arrival. There's no frustration of a middle man. James will even ask for pictures and offer an estimate over the phone when he is able to diagnose via picture. Not only that, but the service itself is clean, professional, and efficient. Spyder Plumbing are my plumbers forever!

I trusted all the positive reviews on Yelp and hired Spyder Plumbing for 5 different jobs around the house. There were minor jobs: swapping out a kitchen faucet; there were major jobs: installing a new water heater & diagnosing the source of the significant outdoor water leak and repairing it. It started with a free estimate and finished with them honoring the estimate after working through ALL the plumbing hiccups. What plumbing job doesn't have hiccups? Their technicians always put in a hard day's work and had great attitudes even when they had every right to be fed up with the whack-a-mole headaches. I highly recommend them for any plumbing job you have and will call them again in the future.

I wanted so badly to give this company a good review and up until Monday I would have, but the owner's behavior on Monday was so reprehensible, I have no choice but to warn you.

I needed a larger hot water tank and submitted requests on-line to several companies. James of Spyder Plumbing was quick to respond and quite personable over the phone. First problem is he was reading and saying one thing and thinking another so he did not have a 55 gallon tank to install the day before our appointment, it would have to be ordered and would take an additional week. That actually worked out okay because his advise was I probably needed an 80 gallon tank to insure enough hot water for my new walk-in tub. I considered his recommendation and decided to order the 80 gallon tank instead and verified that he would get the county permit and arrange for the inspection prior to committing to the job.

There was another glitch along the way, but long story short, we now have a lovely 80 gallon hot water tank installed and Jason, the installer, did an excellent job and was a very nice person. I texted James, the owner whom I never met face to face, about the permit and inspection and was told he would get it over the weekend as it was less expensive if he got them in a batch. Okay, no problem. Next week when it didn't arrive, I was told he'd been in Atlanta for the weekend. Another week goes by and I text asking what it will take to get the permit.

James called me with a question of whether or not we were city or county and before I knew it was yelling at me at the top of his voice over the phone because I was inconveniencing him by asking him to do his job for which he had already been paid. He'd had my $1800 for two weeks and I still didn't have the paperwork to make this job legal and finalized. He ranted on in a manic type episode for about five minutes. I put the phone down so I could see the connection was still good and could hear him yelling although I couldn't really hear all that he was saying. I won't allow that kind of poison to be spewed on me. Would he have attacked a man this way? Who else does he treat this way?

This is the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. He has since apologized and I forgive him, but that does not mean there are no longer consequences for his actions. I cannot recommend that anyone hire Spyder Plumbing.

I found Spyder on yelp and I already used their service 3 times in a month! This already speaks why I rated this company as is. My first experience was on a property when James actually went out for an estimate. He thoroughly answered all my questions and took photos for me so I could better understand how the repairing would be done - his patience already wowed me. His crew was also friendly and courteous. Most importantly, James and his crew were honest with their quotes (often not seen in plumbing companies I've worked with) which I'm very impressed. The only suggestion I would put in is the scheduling part which hopefully could be more organized moving forward. Keep up the good work!

I called Spyder plumbing with an emergency. I had a broken pipe in my front yard and water was spewing everywhere. It was even more stressful because I had just returned from an exhausting 10 days away from home. James returned my call within a few minutes and dispatched someone out right away. He guided me over the phone on which valves to shut off in the interim.
Jason came and fixed the broken pipe and all was well.... until about two hours later when I went into my back yard and saw that my sprinkler system was going haywire and my yard was drenched. I texted James and he again calmed my frustrations, assured me that he'd send someone to look things over and check for leaks. Sure enough. Ace showed up and handled everything like a champ. Every person I dealt with was courteous, professional and extremely kind. I can't say enough about Spyder Plumbing and I will definitely use them for all of my future plumbing needs.

I needed a water heater installed and had Lowe's come out and do it (figured would be easy). They found a broken water valve and basically left the water heater uninstalled and said they couldn't finish it that day, and couldn't fix the valve. I called Lowe's and the plumbing company they contracted, and all they gave me was hassle.

I then called Spyder Plumbing (based on amazing yelp reviews) and they came out same day to get it all fixed and installed correctly. I only wish I had originally went with them to save me all the headache with Lowe's.

Jason the tech was professional, courteous and answered all my questions.

Saved our family of 6 on a Sunday afternoon when we realized our water main was broken!! Friendly and efficient and even followed up after the work was done. Thank you Spyder Plumbing!!

--Fast forward 4 months to another plumbing emergency. After waiting 5 days for our home warranty program to send a plumber, and having a horrible experience with the plumbing company sent by HSA, I contacted Spyder plumbing again. We had such a wonderful experience the first time we used them and thought to try again. They had a plumber out to our home within 2 hours of initial contact. Plumber was kind, professional, clean, and very thorough. He identified the problem and fixed it right away. I told my 3 yo he was a Plumbing Superhero!! He was willing to do he work that the plumber from HSA was not (and saved us a ton of money by not needing a new toilet!)
Thank you again for being an honest and hard working company. I'm ready to cancel with HSA and keep Spyder on speed dial!!

Tenant called in morning before 8 am saying she had no hot water. A couple other companies weren't even open yet. Called Spyder and James picked up right away and I received a quote within minutes and the assurance the job would get done the same day. He was extremely personable and kept me updated regarding his timeline. After the job was done he texted a photo and called to go over all he had done. He brought everything up to current code and explained all the issues the old water heater had. Based on this experience I would definitely recommend this company to others and will contact them for any future plumbing needs.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. So it took a week and 2 phone calls to get a call back. Then they set up an appointment for a Tuesday morning, then called that morning to say they would have to come another day. Then when they did come, they didn't realize we had dual flow toilets (no one asked when we made appt) so they didn't have the right parts with them. Also, after examining our toilets, he suggested that we have cheap toilets and might be best to replace all 3. Couldn't understand how needing new valve/or O-ring type thing turned in to needing to replace all 3 toilets. Stated he would see about finding the right parts and get back to us. And that it would prob be around $250-$300 to fix it if he could find parts. We would have gladly paid that, had they gotten back to us. But now it's been over 2 weeks and haven't heard a thing. But it all worked out for best because my father came to look at it and was able to fix it for $48 in parts.
SO STAY AWAY!! They are not organized and nor timely and will try to gouge you for more $$$.

A little more expensive than the other companies that yelp recommended and sent requests to HOWEVER, they have better communication, came the same day and fixed the issue within an hour of arrival. Didn't even think twice when I told them my phone was text only because I'm hard of hearing and both guys that came always faced me when they spoke. Even though I had hearing aids in to help, it's really appreciated.

Only negative I'd say (besides cost, which, you get what you pay for, so that's a bonus almost) is that they left one of their buckets full of water in my kitchen and I almost tripped over it (because I'm graceful like that.)

Bucket will be on my front porch for a few days, but after that we're stealing it for chicken scraps. Thanks guys!!

I recently had a really good experience with Spyder Plumbing. I am selling my home and after the inspection prior to sale there was an issue with the water temperature in the guest shower that the inspector had reported. I called Spyder because I've had them come out before and the customer service was great. Robert who is the Service Manager arrived to the appointment earlier than expected, which was really nice as usually with repair appointments like this you prepare yourself for a wait. Robert came in and checked out the shower only to discover that there was really no issue to fix at all. He tested out the water temperature and flushed the pipes and explained that the water was sufficiently hot and everything was working as it should be. He was really nice and very knowledgeable and also made sure to give me his name and contact information in case the new owners have any questions about why there was no repair necessary. To top it off he didn't even charge me a thing, which was again a very nice surprise! Most businesses would at least charge for taking the time to come out to my home but he did not. I will definitely call Spyder Plumbing in the future should the need arise and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing help. Thanks again : )

Overall I was extremely happy with the whole process. James replied to my estimate I requested for a water softener install via yelp within an hour. He asked a few questions and quoted me a fair price. He contacted me the next business day and we scheduled the work. He called before he came, showed up on time, and did a great job. Good work and fair pricing compels me to leave 5 stars for this plumber and praise for Jen in sending Jason. He was on time and fast and pleasant to deal with.

I contacted other plumbers some who wanted to charge $75 for estimates and who wanted far more for their service. One firm sent out a salesman/ plumber who opened negotiations with a bid to renew the piping for the whole home instead of fixing a simple leak - an outright scam.

Spyder is solid on service and pricing. They were quick to answer all my questions and provided a very competitive quote.

One week before the one year mark, the new water heater that they installed started leaking everywhere. I couldn't tell where the leak came from. They were super quick to respond and sent a team out the same day to replace the water heater. It was very easy and hassle free to replace.

The -1 Star is because we were covered under warranty. However, there was a $350 charge to use the warranty.

I have never. Had such a quick response to a self made disaster. My husband is a weekend diyer and thought he should tackle a leak in our laundry box. Well the Pex piping had him completely befuddled so we called Spyder. Isaac came and went in less than two hours after completely rebuilding the housing flow to it. Chris came out today and installed 3 sinks/faucets and a new water heater. He was great! He called on his way to check in and got everything done in a timely manner. Always wore his shoe booties (even though I didn't ask him to), and cleaned up any mess he may have made because I didn't see anything out of order when he was done.

Their price was also very fair! I will definitely use them again if needed for our plumbing needs!

I cant explain how amazing this company is. I had an emergency install for a water softener system in order to sell my house. I called Spyder Plumbing at 8:30, and I explained the situation I was in, and it needs to be done by this afternoon. They were able to move things around and make things happen and arrived at 10:30! I Called and spoke with Jenn she was very friendly I explained that it was not and emergency so she made an appointment for me for Tus: between 1:00pm and 2:00pm On the day of the appointment Chris the plumber called me around 10:30am and said he was a little ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early I told him that would be great he arrived and I showed him the problems that we where having and he not only fixed them promptly but also explained the problem and how it was resolved. Chris was GREAT He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did an outstanding job. I originally met Spyder Plumbing through an Angie's List deal, but I ended up using them for a dramatically more complicated project that involved replacing transfer and thermostatic valves in one of my showers. I had worked with three other plumbing companies before Spyder, and all of them were stumped. Spyder, to the surprise and joy of my girlfriend, FINALLY got the work done.

Throughout the process of this project, which ended up taking more than six months of correspondence (not Spyder's fault, the manufacturer of select shower products that we needed to work with just kind of sucked as human beings), James and Jason were transparent, kind, and easy to work with. While the final project cost was more than I wanted to spend, the work was done with an incredibly high level of quality and professionalism.

I would recommend working with Spyder for projects across any degree of complexity. They've clearly worked hard to maintain an outstanding reputation in the community, and they deserve every bit of kudos that they receive.

As a military family we have moved three times in the last 18 months so we rely on Yelp to find quality contractors. On Sunday I ended up with a big leak in our kitchen so I put in a work order with our home warranty company. On Monday I got an email with the name of the company they assigned us to so of course I looked them up on Yelp. Unfortunately that company has all one star reviews so there was no way I was going to let that company in our house. So I looked to see who had the best reviews and Spyder popped up. I gave them a call Monday afternoon and they were able to send a technician to our house Tuesday. Not only were they able to get us an appointment for the next day they were also able to accommodate the short window I had for them to come and fix it. Our technician Isaac was very knowledgeable and super understanding of my situation. He was able to repair our leak very quickly and answer all of my questions. I'm so glad we went with Spyder instead of the company our Home Warranty company assigned us.

I found Spyder Plumbing on Angie's List. Spyder/Angie's List had a deal of 2 hours plumbing for $169. I called on Monday and spoke with the owner, James. I told James that I was not in a hurry and could wait as long as next week. Jason was my technician. He called me and said he was in the area and could be here within a few minutes if it was convenient for me. I took him up on the offer of coming today, May 16. The basics...James and his employee Ace were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, on time, and VERY fairly priced from start to finish! Due to corrosion, we had to replace numerous faucets (kitchen, laundry, 2 bathrooms), shower head, shower control and new filtration system. Ace completed all work within 2 days and everything is working perfect and even cleaned up after himself.

The beyond... the other quotes we got were more than double of what James quoted us. I assumed there would be hidden fees... NOPE!. Other plumbers told me they would NOT be able to save my very expensive and beautiful yet corroded faucets, as they are no longer being made. James was able to save them... ALL 3 of them! It wasn't easy to find parts or to do it the way he did (the right way). Other plumbers wouldn't have convinced me they had to be replaced, due to the time it took. That made me skeptical that he could actually save them, but he did it! WOO HOO!!

What can I say Tank and his crew are amazing! We had a home inspection done and they said the whole water heater needed replaced. I was like OK! But Tank came out and took a look at it and said there was no reason to replace the whole tank it was only one year old! So he fixed what was worn out saved me from having to spend a ton of cash and the new inspection passed!! Highly recommend!!

Spoke with Robert on the phone today and he helped me out with my tankless Water heater. I was having some issues with the ignition and he walked me through the problem and I took care of the problem myself. I know it was a minor problem that didn't take much effort on his part but it speaks volumes about the company and honest work. Called for plugged drain issue at my rental. Asked to be called before service was started. Was called by Jason saying all done said hair was in tub and sink and was removed. Said bill was $200.00. I was not happy. He then reduced to 150.00. Not really happy about first not being called about issue before service, secondly for 200.00 charge to clean out hair, and thirdly, not telling me about service fee before.

I had an underground slab leak in the hot water plumbing somewhere between the hot water heater in the garage and the kitchen. I called four other plumbers for estimates, and these ranged from $900 to $7200, as one guy said it would best to repipe both the cold and hot water lines to the entire house. James came over and was reluctant to give me a firm estimate as he said that he could not be sure what the job entailed until he opened up the wall. He wanted to charge me by the hour to diagnose the problem. I was a little bit skeptical of this. However, James estimated that he could complete the job in as little as 4 hours. So, I hired James for the job. He found the leak quickly, with only one hole cut in the drywall. He did have to cut other pieces of drywall to reroute the piping through the wooden studs. To my delight, he completed the project in about 3 hours and the cost was well under my other estimates! Wow! He will also be called to install a new kitchen sink for us, and to recess the gas line to our new range. James is very flexible in pricing, and is easy to communicate with. I recommend that you call James of Spyder Plumbing to estimate your next plumbing job!

About a month ago, my water heater was leaking into a downstairs unit's garage. I had called at least 3 different companies and the earliest any of them could come out was the next day. I found Spyder Plumbing on Yelp and decided to give them a call. They were lifesavers because they were able to come out that day. James and Curt came out, informed me that it wasn't my water heater leaking, but the expansion/expander tank that had a small hole in it; which was the cause of the leak. I asked a lot of questions and they were very patient and thorough in answering them.
I'm very grateful that I found Spyder Plumbing and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Spyder Plumbing LLC came to our rescue after our contractor abandoned our kitchen remodel project. James and Justin installed our kitchen sink, faucet, pot filler and reverse osmosis system. Amazing service provided by James and Jason!

James answered my called immediately, and was able to get to my place in an extremely prompt matter. I told him exactly what needed to be done, and he was able to get to it immediately! Jason, the plumber sent, came fully prepared with all the parts needed, and was able to do the work with great ease.

It turned out that my toilet tank was hanging on by a bolt (Jason explained how the water here in Nevada calcifies many plastic components, which causes them to function improperly)...he was able to replace that, the fill valve, and the angle stop valve. This was done in less than 25 minutes!

Considering all the five star reviews on here, it's no wonder why they're the best plumbers here in Las Vegas! I look forward to having them replace my kitchen sink, when the time comes!
