Paschall Plumbing recently installed a new hot water heater at our residence. We had another bid in the same price range with another company who told us it wasn't necessary to get a permit. Paschall Plumbing's quote of the new water heater included the permit which they set up with the City of Reno. We felt more comfortable getting a permit knowing the water heater was to code. To top it off, they were able to schedule that install the same day!! We highly recommend Paschall Plumbing!

Absolutely the best. No one like to dish out funds for unexpected expenses, but these guys made it worth it. Our A/C unit was acting up, so we gave them a call. Bruce was fabulous. Got us an apt for the next evening after work to fit our schedule. Korey arrived that night and fixed our A/C so quick! He was such a great tech! He educated us and was extremely friendly and professional.

While my first experience left me less than thrilled I am now going to change my stars. I was immediately contacted by the company and they were more than eager to make things right. Their prices are higher than other companies but they show a lot of integrity as far wanting to make sure their customers are happy. Josh just left after doing a small job. He was not only kind but also took the time to explain everything in detail. I really appreciate the local company caring so much about their reputation.

My water heater was leaking so, after doing some research, I called Paschall and spoke with a very amiable fellow named Bruce who told me he would have someone out to assess and estimate the job. Within half an hour Matt arrived (also a very likeable chap). He assessed the issue and started to work right away! Within about three hours (this included going back to the shop to obtain the correct water heater) we had hot water once again that is all up to the latest code! I am quite pleased with the service I received from both Bruce and Matt and would not hesitate to call them again should the need arise. Their prompt, courteous, and professional service definitely puts them a cut above the competition. Give them a shot next time you have a plumbing issue. They're not the cheapest in town, but They DO NOT cut any corners. Everything is on spec and on time.

Our 23 year old heater needed a tune up. Tim came out and did a wonderful job. He is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We decided to go with their service plan which is really reasonable. We have also used them for plumbing problems. So if you need help with anything that they do give them a call they are great!!!!

These guys are AWESOME! Matt came out today to stop a leaky toilet and Davey came out today to start up my swamp cooler!  Both Matt and Davey are amazing, letting me know what needs to be done before they started and also informing me of what parts were needed and such during the repair and start up.  I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company and their techs, and trust me when I say I have dealt with A LOT of plumbing/HVAC companies in the Reno-Sparks area and these guys are clearly the BEST!  Thanks so much EVERYONE at Paschall's Plumbing!  Keep up the great work!! :)

(1) First call new heating system purchase and install.  Rated 5 star, great price.
(2) Second call New thermostat purchase and install. Rated 5 star, good price.
(3) Third call repair frozen pipes and install new outside bib. Rated 3 star, fair price.
Plumber sat wall on fire while wielding.  Button up the wall and left.  I went out to put things in garage away, when I saw the smoke.  But accidents do happen to the best of us.
(4) Forth call replace parts in tank on toilet.  Needed new toilet and install.  I requested the least expensive. Charged $450 for new toilet with install.  When the job was completed informed that somewhere in the future will need to have more work done because one of the bolts holding the toilet the the floor is broken off.  Rated 2 stars, overcharged, ripped off, taken to the crapper on the price.

My mother, who passed away a few months ago, received a bill from Paschall Plus.  The bill shows an invoice date of April 2022 and below the bill states Please remit ASAP! to avoid further action!  Mind you, this was written in RED ink as well.  So I called them and spoke with Angie.  I told her  I have a question regarding my mother's bill that she received in the mail.  Though I have not notified her yet that my mother had passed.  She simply says ok?  and there was a moment of silence.   With her reply, I was not sure if she needed any information from me to look up my mother's account.  So I told her that I needed help.  She finally ask if there was an invoice number, and so I gave it to her.  I told her my mother usually pays the  workers at the time of service.  Angie looked up the account and said there was no payment made.  I told her my mother passed away a few months ago.  She simply replies ok?..this bill is still outstanding.  I informed Angie  we are going through a legal matter right now and if they can push this out.  She ask soooo, how long do you want to push it out?  I told her maybe two or three months.  She replies ok?  I told Angie my mother passed away, not to get out of paying the bill, but simply getting some suggestions like extending the courtesy.  I also wanted to find out from Angie if any phone calls were attempted to collect from my mother while she was alive.  Angie said my mother did not have an email address so they were not able to send her an email.  Though I was not asking her about emailing.  So I ask again about any phone calls made, and she says no there are no records of any phone calls being made.  I told her the invoice was back in April, and they did not try to call her?  She then told me I was being hostile and our phone call is being recorded.  I told her I work in customer services as well and she does not have any customer service skills at all.  She just kept saying how the call is being recorded and that I'm being hostile.  She also threatened me to settle the matter in court.  And after all the awful remarks she has said to me, she hangs up the phone and leaves me hanging on the other line.   Well, Angie, I truly hope our conversation was recorded.  I assure you, with the kind of customer service you have presented to me,  which was absolutely VERY POOR,  I will never refer ANYONE to PASCHALL PLUS .

While the tech who came out to look at our water heater to see if it need to be drained was nice and prompt--got charged 129$ just for him to say that it should not be drained. Nothing was done.
My husband was told by the dispatcher when he made the appt that it was going to cost 129$ for everything including the process of draining it. When he called to ask about this, the story changed and that it was a fee of 129$ just to come out and do a diagnostic and that draining the water heater would likely have additional costs.
Business practices seem a little shady and manipulative, and fees are NOT made clear by the dispatcher--and so when you sign the paperwork you are not made aware of the very tiny print that says you are obligated to pay the diagnostic fee, even if nothing is done.

our AC went out with the outside temp at 96.  Their receptionist was great and she fit us in at the end of the next day.  they showed up on time and trouble shouted the problem.  we needed a new fan motor and they came through the next morning as promised,  ya I k was terrific and knowledgeable.  very personable, even offered to help carry groceries in.  
i thought the bill was reasonable considering our AC is old.  Highly recommend Yanick and Paschalle Heating and Plumbing.

We had our annual, scheduled plumbing inspection with Bill Shores (yesterday 10.12.22) and he, too, was amazing. Answered all our questions and provided a lot of information. We're really happy with services provided by Paschall and the technicians they employ!

I've had to use Paschall plumbing for a few problems the last couple of months. We have been lucking enough to work with Chad. He is very professional and personable. He is always very accommodating, he shows up on time and gets the job done right the first time.  When I have any plumbing issues Chad will be the one I call.

Pascual plumbing heating is one of the best if not the best plumbing company in our community. Very flexible very easy to work with.  The technician was polite courteous wore his little booties when he came into the house was able to diagnose the problem of my heater immediately. Because it was an expensive repair I was able to make payments to them. Office staff very professional easy to speak to nonthreatening non-intimidating. They did their job and I would highly highly recommend this company. Not knowing that I was entitled to or was giving discounts because I was a senior  citizen  was a big plus.Very patient with me I just can't say enough things about this company again I would go to nobody else but them.  Paz

Making an appointment with Paschall Plumbing was easy. They were able to come the day I called. They called twice during the day to keep me advised of the plumber's schedule. He was able to show up an hour early. Worked fast and efficient. Left the area clean. I would call them again.

Our master shower wouldn't turn all the way off so water was leaking bad from the showerhead. A friend of mine recommended Paschall. I was worried because it was a Sunday and I was pretty sure it was going to cost a lot for them to come out on a weekend. I called them, Matt returned my call, and came out at around 8pm that night. Unfortunately, he needed a part from a plumbing supply store to fix it and of course they aren't open on Sunday's. Matt called me Monday morning, he got the part he needed, and came by and fixed it. Matt was amazing! Incredibly friendly, as was Angie in the office. I was completely surprised at how reasonably priced they are as well. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing a plumber!

I had my water spigot break at the bottom in my backyard. I called them out to come to inspect it and hope to have it fixed. I had to go back off to work so I trusted the workers to be there unsupervised to fix the spigot. When I came back from work the spigot was about 6ft out of the ground. I had to call them back out to make it much shorter since it was way taller than me. Then when I received the bill, they had charge me for about 10 hours per tech (so 20 total hours for one day), which I know it did NOT take that long to do all of this. When contacted, they argued it and I definitely got ripped off a lot of money. However, they get the job done so I guess thats a plus. I won't be recommending them.

In addition, I was given a quote prior to the work being done, the final bill was much greater than the actual quote.

My experience with Paschall Plumbing was the best! My first contact was extremely professional and efficient. I could tell they were invested in helping me out with a few plumbing repairs. They were able to come out in a couple of days and arrived at their appointed time. Bill spent time explaining what options I had to fix my problems. I was extremely pleased that he located and fixed the water leak in my yard. My experience with Paschall Plumbing was stellar, and I will be using them for all of my future plumbing, heating, and cooling needs. Good job!

They do not guarantee their work. They came to fix the clog sink and next day it was the same way. I called them next day, they said they do not guarantee the clog fixing. My question is then what do  pluming company guarantee?

Shout out to Tim Whitlock!  Professional, courteous, honest and transparent.  I will definitely use Paschall again and request Tim if I have a need for help with my air conditioning or heating system.

I've used Paschall a number of times for heating, AC, and plumbing issues. They are always prompt, on time, and very able to accommodate my crazy work schedule. Work quality is always solid and the prices seem in line with the others.

OK so i am only the tenant in a condo, not the landlord who called for as the toilet was leaking. not on the outside, so that tells me it was something in the tank. when plumber looked at it i asked if maybe i put in the wrong flapper. he said he could replace it but with no guarantee. then he said needs new toilet. quoted over 700.00. and just to tighten the 2 tank bolts on existing he wanted 220.00. that's just insane. i got a new flapper. installed in less then one min. problem solved. as far as the tank bolts, they were wing nuts. few twists of the fingers and 2 min to fix....wow magical. 5 dollars for a flapper, 3 min to fix total. not only did the plumber say toilet needed to be replaced, there prices were way more then there competitors that were half the cost. and now they want 129.00 for the call to come out and try to rip off my landlord.

Let me start by saying Paschall Plumbing is awesome....in case you only read the first sentence to get a feel for the review!
Plumbing issues are usually unexpected and something that needs to be taken care of asap. We had some issues with roots blocking our line, after a total of four visits from another company, the problem remained and simply did not go away. We needed a company that had a camera to inspect the line properly. I used Yelp of course to help my search and called about and decided on Pascall Plumbing, they were pleasant and were able to come almost right away. Matt came with the camera to inspect the line and very quickly and efficiently completed that task. He has many many years of experience, knew how the sewer lines ran in this neighborhood and was able to give us a quote to fix this problem. They were back in two days and completed the job in one day. When they left, very little trace anything had happened, the only indentation was caused from the large machine and only because the lawn was rain soaked. Excellent job all around, they came with all the proper equipment and most importantly the expertise and knowledge to do the job.
We will only use Paschall Plumbing company in the future and highly recommend them with no hesitation at all!

Paschall Plus is a company run by unscrupulous individuals in my opinion. The worse being the dispatcher. He is very nice as he lies to you. The cost that he quoted me on parts was four times the market value for the same parts. This I found out later. His incompetent technicians will gouge you for every $100.00 that they can get out of you. The so called Tech, worked 6 hours to do the work of a competent tech, that would have taken one hour. They work on commission, and it's to their benefit to inflate the charges. Don't ask for a statement of charges listing parts and labor. You won't get it. Their fee is based on your neighborhood, house value, car, toys in the garage, and the weather circumstances of the situation. Cold weather...higher price. Avoid this company and don't make the mistake that I made in selecting them. Don't trust anything that they tell you. That is my opinion of Paschall Plus. Take it for what is worth to you.

Furnace was working this a.m., called at~6 & Bruce said he thought there was an opening @10 but would call when he got to the office.  He did and there was.  Got another call when tech was on the way. Joe, the tech was very professional and patiently listened to my non-technical description of the problem and explained what he found wrong and got to it. All throughout,  from top to bottom,  my experience was better than expected.  They'll be my first call the next time....

I have had Paschall Plumbing & heating for over 20 years. I bought their lifetime warranty. Great honest company. The guys are great, they explain things in laymens terms.. We are having them put in a swamp cooler next spring.

Tim arrived on time and had a new motherboard diagnosed and installed within a couple of hours. Knowledgeable young man wearing a mask. Would definitely recommend this company.

These people are crooks from the top down.  They take advantage of situations in order to squeeze money out of you.  I would never work with them again.  Find any other service in town to work with other than these guys.  No accountability for their own mistakes.

I was having a small issue with some water pooling up in my garage. My technician, Bill Shores, came out to troubleshoot. He was on time and was clear about his eta and called me ahead of arrival. He was quick and cleared up any worries I had about leaks under the house. I now have peace of mind about the issue and will be calling Paschall Plumbing for any further issues.

During this time of social distancing we could not have been happier with Chad from Paschall Plumbing. In and out in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday. He kept us in the loop on his arrival time even when another emergency delayed him. He was courteous and knowledgeable in a way that put us at ease. Thank you for coming to our rescue.

While this company did not come out and do any service on my home. I think it is imperative that people who want to use this company know, that whomever drives their van around town is a reckless and careless driver. I read some reviews on here that they are quick to respond which is great but there is no need to speed through a school zone and weave in and out of lanes. Or to drive at excessive speeds in rain and snowy weather.

Technicians were quick to arrive and did good job fixing a very minor problem. Charged over $400 for a clogged pipe. While identifying the problem a mass amount and water and feces were drained onto our floor, which was not their problem. When I called in to inquire about the predicament I was told, I didn't come over, take a crap in your toilet and clog it, so it's not my fault. Kudos on running a top class business fellas! Can't wait to support your business again!

When I first moved here over 8 years ago I bought a lifetime service plan with Paschall. First, they are too busy to send out reminders that it is time for your twice a year service.  But the first time I used them for anything else, they charged me almost $500 (including my lifetime discount) to replace a garbage disposal.  I looked up the one they used online and it was the least expensive one I could find online. That experience combined with other reviews on them convinced me to just switch to All Hours Air, who are prompt, reasonable, and good at what they do.  Check out their Yelp reviews and see the difference.

We had the unfortunate luck to have a home with shower heads that can't just be replaced with a turn and we needed a handheld shower head installed for my mother with dementia.

At the beginning of the pandemic, I messaged Paschall through Facebook and not only did they respond quickly but they also allowed me to send video and get a general idea for what we needed. We waited because at the time it wasn't urgent but after my mom broke her leg this February, we knew we could not put it off any longer.

I called and got a quick appointment and Matthew showed up on time. He was pleasant and FAST. The job was done and done well, in about 15 minutes AND it came in under estimate. Everything was completed quickly and better than expected. I thought perhaps we would be left with a small hole or something but it looks better than the original shower head did in its place.

I highly recommend and would use them again, hopefully with Matthew doing the job.

I called this afternoon after discovering that my garage was flooding from a leaking line.  I didn't have a tool to turn off the water and it was streaming down the driveway and down the street.  Bruce was extremely responsive, he told me that he would have someone at my house within an hour or so.  He called back about 25 minutes later to make sure I was home and to let me know that they would be arriving very shortly.  Within about 10 minutes the repairman, Josh, had arrived.  

Josh was fantastic, the absolute best!  He was very professional and explained exactly what was wrong and what he was doing and replacing.  He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable- he didn't even mind my big yellow lab following him around while he worked.  He was very diligent in double checking the fix and making sure that everything was sealed up after turning the water back on.  When he wrapped up, he left everything neat and cleaned up after himself.

What started as a disastrous afternoon was quickly and efficiently turned around in no time thanks to Josh and company.  I will definitely be calling Paschall for all of my future plumbing needs and will gladly recommend them.  Thank you so much!

Nothing but satisfied...I called Monday, tech was here Tues (not an emergency).  Everything was done with the utmost satisfaction and gratitude.  Would use and recommend in the future.

I have been with Paschall Plus for over ten years, both the home I live in and my rental have the lifetime heating and cooling service.  I get both homes serviced in spring and fall to avoid potential problems.  The technicians are top notch and Bruce on the phone is always helpful and a pleasure to do business with.

My wife and I recently contacted Paschall Plumbing regarding a slow leak that we had occurring behind our shower/bathtub.  Joe showed up promptly at the appointment time and managed to diagnose our slow leak quickly and efficiently.  He gave us a number of price options to choose from regarding the work, which was quite expensive.  He left to obtain a number of parts that he did not have on his truck and returned quickly to complete the necessary repairs.  He explained the repairs that he was making to me and also suggested a number of other beneficial repairs that could be done at a later date.  Joe was upfront, forward and honest about everything and did very nice work.  I was impressed with his attention to detail and his overall friendliness.  I highly recommend Paschall Plumbing for all of your plumbing needs, they do very good work!

I would NEVER consider using another plumbing company.  When I have a plumbing problem, I call Paschall immediately.  Bruce always takes care of scheduling me as soon as he has someone available.  All of the people he has sent out have always been first class.  I have more contact with Rob than with any other of the techs, and I really like having him take care of any problems that arise.
Paschall is more of a ten than a five, but that wasn't a choice..

These guys did good work on a not-very-complicated job (I could have done it myself if I had the tools, and yes, I understand I'm paying for equipment, knowledge and overhead as well as labor). But they quoted my wife a price that she accepted without understanding what was involved, and when they were done, it came to between $600 and $700 per hour for one man.
I mentioned this to a neighbor, and he said Paschall installed a simple gate valve in a one-inch pipe in his yard, less than an hour total, and charged him $575. I'd get estimates elsewhere before I hired these guys again.

Signed up for their annual maintenance programs.  They came out and have been professional.  They found some issues and addressed within a reasonable timeframe.  

They made sure to wear appropriate covid as well as shoe protections.  

Office staff is always great and get back to you promptly.

Do not hesitate to get a second opinion on their quotes...

I recently had them come in to look at my furnace, and after $129 on the diagnostic work (which is much higher than most HVAC's in the area) I was told the furnace heat exchanger was defective and the furnace would need to be replaced (which they would be happy to do). I called another company (One-Hour) for a second opinion, and the problem was fixed in 20 min for under $200. I don't know what the cost of a new furnace would have been, as ironically, I never received quotes from Paschall

On a side note, be aware that the old $40 coupons they issued do not mention you can't use them for diagnostic services. I tried to use it and they wouldn't let me, they then handed me a new $40 coupon that stated it couldn't be used for diagnostics. I called asking for some explanation on being charged $129 for a solution that would have cost me close to $4,000 without any more thought given to the issue. I was told that is how it is, and no refund would be given on the service charge.

The take away - there are some great HVAC's in Reno, and I would start with some others, and call around for a lower diagnostic price. If you do go with Paschall, I would recommend seeking a second opinion.

Bruce was very professional and understanding over the phone. It is Saturday and I could not get a hold of a business open or available. He had a cancellation and was able to come out the same day. We jumped on the opportunity, our heater is broken and it's cold outside. The mother board is fried. Ok. How much? $1,100.00. Oh, we can't afford it. I think my heater is about 19 years old, how much for a new one? $3,00.00 to $3,500.00 and three weeks before we can come out to install a new one. He asks you want heat tonight or in three weeks? I had tears in my eyes the holidays are coming up and I am a single mom. My boyfriend offered to help and the price went down to $1,000.00 then $900.00 then ultimately $800.00. I started to get suspicious and asked how much the part cost. The installer got defensive and started to turn red. So I turn on Google and put in my furnace and model and the motherboard costs about $100.00 to $150.00. So I politely ask why it is costing so much, the labor? He told me I would have heat in 20 minutes?? So he calls his boss and informs him of the entire situation before handing the phone over. I ask for a breakdown of the cost and he explains, overhead, he has to carry so many parts, he has trained people, he guarantees his work. Well, wouldn't any business offer that? Why if a part costs $100.00 that you charge $1,000.00 in 20 minutes of labor? A new heater costs around $1,000.00 plus installation and labor? I couldn't justify spending one third of the cost for one part instead of just buying a new heater all together. You know what? I think he smelled blood and tried to blackmail me for HEAT! I have two little girls and I can't justify the cost so the guy actually peels out of my driveway pissed because I declined service. I am mad that I even paid $120.00 for him to tell me what was wrong.  Any business should have an invoice BEFORE you sign that states, labor, parts, sales tax, total. THAT IS THE LAW. Neither the owner or the installer could break it down beforehand.

I've been in the Reno area for a dozen years and have tried several different plumbing companies. When I finally found Paschall last year, I quit looking. They are friendly and helpful. They actually called with updates on when the tech would arrive and showed up on time. They did the work I asked them to do (others charged me for showing up but not actually doing the job I requested.). They aren't the cheapest company around, but I'd rather have the job done right than have problems down the road. In the long run, that saves me money and water damage to my house.

Contacted Paschall via phone for a non-emergency water leak. They charge $129 for an initial diagnostic visit and had a next day appointment available. Bill was our friendly and professional technician, work was done quickly (~1hr) and neatly. Great experience. Highly recommend.

We lost our air conditioning on an afternoon that was going to make for a miserable night.  My wife called me and said it was blowing warm air.  I saw a Paschall flatbed with air conditioning compressors on the back, right in my neighborhood.  So I called the number off the truck.  I told the dispatcher that there was a truck in my neighborhood.  He said that he'd call that technician and see if he was wrapping up on his call.  Timing was everything!  30 minutes later, I had an air conditioning tech working on my system.  He had me up and running in less than an hour.  He also pointed out that the lines outside normally had insulation on them and mine was old and falling off.  He said he could fix it - or I could go to Home Depot and buy the material for $10 and do it myself.  I chose to do it myself. But it was nice of him to tell me that I could handle it.  Pricing seemed fair.  Service was good. And come on, I got a tech at my front door 30 minutes after I called.  Pretty awesome.

Buyer Beware! Get a second quote. I have had a number of jobs done by Paschall. All were over-priced but they used good products and seem to do the job right. But, when I had them change out an old water pressure reduction valve, they gave me a price of over $1,300, knocking it down to $1,125 with my 'discounts'. As noted in other reviews, they use a flat rate: no breakdown of parts, labor time, labor rate, taxes, etc. Since the technician was there and I wanted it fixed, I had them do the job and paid the bill. The technician's time ended up amounting to about 15 minutes to diagnose, 45 minutes to go back to the office to get the part, and less than an hour to install. Since the price felt awfully high and I was having buyer's remorse, I checked online. The part could cost anywhere from $45 to over $200. Frankly, if they used a good part, I wouldn't have minded giving them $300 for the part to cover mark-up and tax. But, that means that the hourly rate exceeded $400 per hour. That seems ludicrous to me and I feel taken.

A bit pricey, and I was unable to get firm estimates in advance. However, the guys who came out were punctual, helpful, did all we requested, and cleaned up.

My 18 year old water heater started leaking. Bill came out and replaced the old pos in 2 hours. He was very nice and really helpful. If you need a plumber or anything that they do don't hesitate to call!

I am repeatedly impressed with the responsiveness, professionalism and dependability of this company. I had used them within the last year when water was streaming from my dining room ceiling. They did a fantastic job. Last night, which was Saturday, I called after 5 p.m. because water was pouring out from under my sink and they returned my call in minutes. Bruce, made sure I had everything shut off and under control before we decided the plumber could come in the morning. They had someone out first thing in the morning who took care of everything quickly and efficiently. The plumber they sent, Jeremy, was delightful and not only fixed everything but explained exactly what needed to be done prior to starting the work. He fixed everything and left the area neat and clean. I highly recommend you use Paschall for all your plumbing needs.

Got a quote for a water heater replacement.    They want about $3800-$4200 for a gas tank type heater (Bradford White - 75 gal).  Installation is simple - garage location in spot that has pre-existing tank already plumbed and wired.
This is an outrageous price.
People - the only way these guys get away with charging this amount is if we keep agreeing to overpay them.
We are not going to do business with them - we found someone else that was both reputable and professional that cost much less.

They are fast and helpful! But if you don't have an emergency situation, call around and get a few quotes.

I called them to replace a bathroom sink  and the plumber was friendly, efficient and did a good job. He also fixed a shower faucet quickly, with a simple part, and that cleared up the stuck faucet and stopped the dripping. Didn't compare prices and sink replacement was a bit costly. But, as pointed out, job was well done. I'd call them again for plumbing matters, and appliance also, though I might compare prices.

On a late Friday afternoon my wife detected a small amount of water on the kitchen floor by the refrigerator.We called another company that we had done business with over the years and was told they couldn't get to us until Monday.In the meantime the water was starting to seep under the neighboring hardwood floors.We remembered Paschall and gave them a call and explained the emergency .In less than a half hour Matt arrived and disconnected the water line to the refrigerator, ordered a new part, and had it installed in a week.Imagine the damage that would had been done if we had to wait until Monday.
