This was my second time using this company's services for, luckily, small plumbing problems that had the potential to become big issues. First off, their customer service is remarkable, as this is a family-owned and run business that retains that old world care to help their clients. We were able to make an appointment easily and quickly to address a leak coming from our bathroom. Mr. Catania and his son came out and were so professional and personable in our interactions and remembered me from the previous appointment about five years prior. They diagnosed and addressed the problem efficiently, taking specific care to explain the least-invasive and least-expensive options first. During the process, they explained each step and did a concise break down of after care once the job was complete.
Finding quality, reliable, and trustworthy professionals can be intimidating with home repair. But finding Catania & Son was a huge relief for us, when it comes to our plumbing needs.
I recently had a few plumbing issues, and had Jerry and his son come out to my house.
I think these guys are the best plumbing company in town. If you are reading this review wondering whether you should go with this company, wonder no longer.
They are a family owned business, and you can tell they really take pride in doing a great job and making sure you are taken care of. Communication is top notch, they do great work, are honest, and rates are very reasonable.
There's really nothing to not like about them. I know I'll be using them for all my plumbing needs from here on out.

Jerry, his son & his wife, Helen, were all so courteous, kind & professional in handling our recent plumbing needs. I highly recommend them! It's not easy finding a plumber that will give you his time & professionalism, without being overly expensive.

Have used them for two different jobs, a leaking valve out the front of the house and toilet installation. Both times good communication and good resolution. Not sure how else to review a plumbing job since I have no experience in plumbing, but nothing is leaking and I haven't had to call them back out!
Just had Jerry and son, Catania & Son Plumbing, come out to take a look at a mysterious noise in our garbage disposal. Heard what sounded like metal-on-metal sound during an initial inspection. They thoroughly inspected the mechanism, tested the disposal again...and the noise was gone. After inspecting and testing it a third time, Jerry turns to me and says well, the noise is gone, and it seems to be working fine, so no charge.
How often do you get that kind of service nowadays?! I asked for his business card because I fully intend to go back to him for any future plumbing work.

Needed a spigot installed in my garage for car washing purposes. Jerry and his son Jason came on time and were able to execute the work within 20 mins. Very clean set up and I'm extremely satisfied with the work.
Mr. Jerry, Mrs. Helen, and their son Evan are absolutely life savers!! Not once but at least 3 times they have come to our rescue when we've had plumbing issues, the latest was a busted water heater at 7pm one night, by 9am the next morning Catania & Sons was at our house repairing the problem! They are reliable, prompt and reasonable (plumbing is expensive), and that is really all we could ask for. I would definitely recommend them!
I can't describe how great these guys were. They showed up right on time. Very nice and understanding. Fixed my leaking faucet in no time and we're on their way. This is the 2nd time I've called them. I definitely won't be calling anyone else for my plumbing problems.
Jason is amazing! showed up with a mask & shoe covers. He replaced the pressure regulator valve in our master bath, because i noticed that our toilet tank doesn't fill up quickly (takes 30 mins to fill up) and there's no pressure on the bidet. When i told him the issue, he knows the problem right away, due to the mandatory fire sprinklers in newly built homes in Henderson, NV, this issue happens, and it's always in the master bath because the pressure regulator is located there under the sink.
The owner (Helen) is great, replies to texts quickly and very dependable, price of the parts and labor are very reasonable.

Tech Jason came out to install our new sink faucet, which looks beautiful and works so much better than our old one! Jason was friendly, patient, and answered all our questions. We called their office and spoke with Helen, to arrange for our water heater replacement in Henderson.
Jerry & his son were able to come to our home the next day for an inspection and provided our estimate. They are very kind, professional, and there work is very clean.
We have used them before and highly recommend them.

Called and spoke to Helen about getting a 2nd opinion on our sewer line repair/replacement. Both gentleman were ridiculously nice, honest and straight-forward with their opinion. (And they didn't try to Mansplain me like others have.) They even referred us to a different service provider that could perform a service that they don't do themselves, but they recommended it as it would be less invasive and more cost-effective for us as the customer! Nobody does that anymore! All companies are in the business of making money, but Catania & Sons are also in the business of customer service and creating trust. Jerry and Evan have been my go to guys for all plumbing issues. They are super reliable and very reasonably priced. I recommend them to all of my friends and family. In short, they are the best plumbing co in the valley.
The best plumbers in Henderson; or the Vegas Valley for that matter. Professional and friendly; they're quick, knowledgeable and don't jerk me around on pricing.
They arrive when they say they will. They don't waste any time. Catania and Son has made calling the plumber a bit less of a pain (because man, plumbing problems are the worst.)

I inquired with Catania and Son Plumbing for the installation of three toilets. Upon calling, I spoke with Helen who was extremely helpful. Jerry and Evan came out a few days later to install my toilets and did an excellent job. They both put my mind at ease. A week later I felt moisture at the bottom of my toilet and Jerry went above and beyond to come out and see if there were any issues, to which there were not. I am thankful I found individuals like this. It felt like I was working with real people rather than a company.

All the great reviews for this company are well deserved. I had our Master Bath Toilet stop working and the pipe made a hard banging sound. Concerned I had a problem inside the wall, I contacted Helen who is very kind and informative about getting someone to come out to take a look at it. She talked to Jerry after I sent her pictures of the area of concern and Jerry said it sounded like my angle stop valve had stopped working and if there was no water leaking from the baseboard then they would come out in the morning. Next day right on time Jerry and his Son showed up at the beginning of the service window and got right to work and changed out the angle stop, the supply line, and the fill valve that I wanted changed due to age of toilet. Jerry, his son, and Helen are very nice people, reasonably priced, and take care of things right away. I have used them twice now with great results and will keep using them from now on for any plumbing issues.
Rental property needed work and this company saved the day. They also gave me advice one time over Yelp a while back when I had an issue with my sink. Everyone else on Yelp replied with a quote for a service fee to come take a look at it while Helen took the time to look at my pictures and advised that she couldn't help me and pointed to the exact services I needed.
For that reason they were called when I needed real plumbing needs, their pricing is reasonable and service is excellent. Don't hesitate on this company they are great.

If you need a plumber, this is Your Guy - at least to get a second opinion. I had a clogged kitchen drain as well as two toilets that had recurring needs for plunging. The kitchen drain situation came after a couple of tries with chemical decloggers. Jerry couldn't come out till a day and a half later so I had another plumber come out.
They snaked the kitchen drain and took care of that. HOWEVER, they did also make the case for power washing the plumbing from the kitchen to the main out at the street which they estimated at $750. They also said the toilets had calcification in the drainage mechanisms and recommended replacing them both for an estimate of $2,000. Since the kitchen was now functioning, I punted on spending thousands more that morning.
The next day Jerry came out and adjusted the water flow in one toilet tank so it would hold more water and thus generate more suction power. The other toilet he augered.
$125 total.
As far as the kitchen sink, I told him someone else had been out the day before and had snaked it. I asked him about the need for power washing. He said he didn't think it was necessary, but if I wanted to have it done her could refer me to someone, who charged a flat rate of $350.
Very much the straight shooter.
Jerry was reliable, and kept in contact with me when he had to get additional parts. Did a good job.

This family owned plumbing company is as good as it gets...here's my story
Catania & Son Service: Water started pouring down the air vents and track lights in the kitchen downstairs when the shower upstairs was turned on. After finding Catania and son via Yelp, I contacted them via their website. I was contacted by Helen in under an hour, explained my situation and we booked an appointment for the next day.
Catania & Son Plumbing: My sister was at the house when Jerry stopped by to assess the situation. He knew immediately what the issue was with the shower diverter and called me immediately to inform me of the cost. In under 15 minutes, he repaired and replaced what needed to be fixed and was testing his work to make sure everything was ok. Fantastic
Anytime you call for plumbing work, stress level takes off because of the uncertainty and your fate lies in the hands of the plumber. This is a family run business that provides great personable service that isn't so common these days. Jerry was friendly, upfront, honest and charged a fair fee for the amazing service provided. They responded quickly to our emergency and our plumber made recommendations that saved us thousands (we had it in our heads that we wanted a tankless water heater, and he saved us from spending far more than we needed to in looking at our family size, habits, etc. and recommending that a traditional water heater would be more than adequate for us). They helped guide us with recommendations for a possible mold remediation situation (luckily there was none) and we are pleased with their prompt and friendly service. We didn't shop around so I can't speak to their prices, but I feel they were fair and honest.

Outstanding service to repair a water heater drain pipe that was corroding. Unfortunately, if was not done right at time of install by another LV Plumber. Wayne from Catania was on time (actually early, but contacted me to confirm if coming early was okay). We discussed the project and he exceeded my expectations -- and did the repair with the correct materials (no galvanized metal). See pictures, before and after.

If you're looking for a quick, reasonably priced plumber, go for these guys!
Helen was quick to respond via Yelp messenger and gave an estimated quote on what I was looking for. Majority of the plumbers I contacted said, We'll have to diagnose when I'm there and I don't have a price to give you until then. It's nice to at least have an idea on pricing, don't you think? I also needed someone to come out asap and she was able to get someone out to me the time I needed him to.
When Jerry arrived, he was nice and was able to fix one of the showers, and was able to tell me what was wrong with the other one.
Thanks so much for making the experience smooth, affordable and manageable. We'll definitely use you guys again!

I am so lucky we came across Catania & Son Plumbing. We had a water emergency where water was leaking/running from a water faucet on the outside of our house. I called Catania & Sons plumbing and they were able to come out within a few hours. They were quick and were able to fix everything right away. I was so happy and thankful we came across this wonderful company. I will be using them for all our pluming needs! Hopefully it's not for any more emergencies though!

I received a water bill that was much higher than normal. I called Helen Catania after reading several positive reviews on Yelp. She was extremely helpful in providing constructive elimination instruction, before just dispatching a plumber out to the house. After going through a few steps she sent Jason (San Ramon), the plumbing contractor, to the house early the next morning to check my plumbing system inside and out. He took excellent care of us and made the necessary repairs in a very timely manner. Our job required a Call before you dig, a permit application, a mainline and valve replacement, and then a final permit inspection. Everything happened with precision. Helen is excellent at the digital aspect of work overview, billing, sending documents, including the final permit quickly. I had a warranty written right into the invoice. I was very happy and would definitely use this company again. Thank you, Helen and Jason, for a job well done.

Great experience with Catania & Son Plumbing. We got a quote from Helen via Yelp. She spoke with her husband Jerry and scheduled a time to come out. Wayne came as promised to first look at our dripping kitchen sink and then our water heater needed to be drained. The part for our sink had to be ordered and came for free in the mail. The water heater need to be changed out since the brand Harmony home builder put in was not that great. So Wayne came back a second time and finished the job. Thank you.

Fantastic company! Saved my hiney and really quick too! My Moen posi temp valve went out on my bath shower combo. It wouldn't stop the water from shooting out and had to shut the main off. I requested a quote to Catania & Son and 4 other companies through the yelp app around 7pm last night on Friday. Helen from Catania responded within 30 minutes and kept answering all my questions until I finally left them alone at 10pm. All the other companies were either not accepting new customers, or some other excuse, or never followed up. Out of all of them Catania was the only one to follow through and by 11am Saturday morning all was fixed at the most reasonable cost in town and friendly service. Wayne is the BEST! I can't say enough good about this company. We had a water heater that needed to be replaced because of a leak. Clint was our plumber, and he did a fantastic job, was personable, professional, timely, followed through and did everything he said he would do. The price was also reasonable. Our water heater was 20 years old, and there were one or two minor upgrades needed to accommodate changes in code requirements since it was installed. All work was done professionally and in a relatively short amount of time.
This company will now be my go-to for any plumbing work needed. You will not regret calling them.
I'm very happy with the work done by Catania Plumbing. I bought a house that had been a little neglected in the maintenance department. Jerry went through and evaluated my plumbing confirming what I thought. Most of the angle stops and supply lines were original and of poor quality, showing signs of leaking and heavy mineral build up. Contractors often cheap out when doing new construction and a lot of this was original. Jerry and his son Evan went through the whole house and the Casita replacing most of the angle stops and supply lines. They also replaced stems in the laundry room for the washer and dryer and a few other things. Easy to work with and professional.

Had Jerry out a few weeks ago to look at a leak under my kitchen sink. He quickly diagnosed and gave me a reasonable quote to install a new sink and faucet to fix the issue. Jerry and his son completed the job quickly and efficiently yesterday morning and even made time to check out my water pressure concerns. Turns out the valve in my garage had been incorrectly moved by washer and dryer installers. Jerry was very honest and provided a fast solution to that problem as well. Friendly, honest guys that do professional work in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future. Thank you!!!

Jerry and his son Evan came to the house to repair the hot water issues In two of our showers. Charged a fair price and Helen made accommodations regarding the time frame because we have a baby and I wanted the work done between naps so we wouldn't wake the baby.
Also showed me where my water shut off valve was and gave me suggestions so we won't have this issue again.
They were pleasant and completed the job quickly. It's often hard to find great service workers in Vegas, if I ever need a plumber again I'll gladly hire them! I Also love hiring family owned small businesses.

Ridiculously great service. Exactly on time, very covid aware, and ready to work. Technician was super knowledgeable and went through step by step explaining to me the process, as well as recommendations. Had my sink faucet replaced, but my valves were frozen and old, so he also had to replace those and gave me some options. Very strange distance and fittings for my hoses, so he was able to get additional parts and adapters. While he was here I also had him replace my irrigation backflow valve, and he showed me essentially how my house water system worked. Also made recommendations on future water care, and water processing. Great pricing (all that for less than $1000). Will call them again when I am ready to install a softener/filter system.

I called their office and spoke with Helen. I explained my issue as best as I can and provided my address. She gave me a 4 hour window, but fortunately Wayne showed up within the hour. That's a great start especially since some other plumbers I called first could not be here for another 3 days due to holiday backlog... no plumbing pun intended on their part, but I found funny enough to share.
Wayne shows up. Very polite, courteous and professional. He even beat the satellite repair guys who were also scheduled to arrive. I showed him the bathroom with the toilet running issues. He went to his work van and within 15 minutes, everything was completed and zero sound coming from that bathroom. He brings me the invoice and I text Helen who immediately approves $10 Yelp discount off my invoice. I paid and immediately receive my copy of payment receipt via text.
I highly recommend using this company and I will definitely be using them again for all my plumbing needs and request Wayne!

Outstanding experience from scheduling the replacement of our broken water heater to the actual response by Wayne. Helen answered on a late Sunday evening on a holiday weekend and assured me she would let me know by the next morning if they could respond to replace our water heater.
On the holiday Monday, Helen called and scheduled the replacement as promised. Wayne responded and completed the replacement. Overall this is an A+ experience I would rate with more than 5 stars if I could. Honest, professional, responsive. You won't find any better than this company and their prices are extremely reasonable. Thanks for the great job, we definitely appreciate it!

Very happy with their work. Jerry was down to earth and family-friendly. He immediately offered to cover his shoes and was perfectly okay with the dogs running around. He complimented me that I was lucky to be able to have my mother with me, and he was trying to take care of his mom as well. Anyway, very straightforward with the diagnose, quick and efficient. He looked at two additional problems, but only charged me for the first problem. In and out, nice friendly guy. Such a contrast to my experience with other plumbing companies who have tried to upsell solutions. Very down to earth, straightforward, get it done. Will definitely call again!
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!!! Woke up this morning to a massive water leak. I called Catania & sons and they came out super quick. Within 10 minutes they were at my door to fix the pipes! This is my second review for Catania and Sons. It's a family run business. Again, the staff were excellent. I had a broken sewer line and various other minor issues inside the house. The plumber promptly corrected the problems. The sewer line was more complicated because of the HOA's involvement. Helen, in the office, was a pleasure to work with and followed up on everyrhing. I highly recommend Catania and Sons.

These guys were awesome from start to finish. I'm the kind of guy when I want something done, I want it done yesterday. I contacted them to replace my main waterline ball valve (1/4 turn valve) as it had brokI told them I wanted it done the next day, they fit me in and gave me a quote over the phone. Next day they actually showed up ON TIME!!??? Super nice couple of guys, polite and nicely dressed, looked and acted very professional. They completed the job quickly, cleaned up after themselves and informed me about a warranty I had no idea it included!!!
If I have anything more plumbing, these guys will definitely be my first call... they should be your first call too! You won't be disappointed!

I can't begin to tell you, how great a find this family run business has been.
My wife and I had a plumbing emergency when our main line burst. We didn't notice until the billing cycle spiked. We have AHS and they sent out their idea of a 'good plumbers'... one word... garbage. They split the irrigation line before telling us that they couldn't fix the problem through AHS, as it was in the yard and not on the foundations for the house. I'm only telling you this to give you an idea of the stress we found ourselves in when we went looking for a professional plumber.
After a few very inconsistent quotes from a number of reputable companies, I spoke with Helen. With only a short call, Helen arranged to have someone come out to our home. Wayne not only turned up with 18yrs experience, he turned up much earlier than scheduled. A dream start. After a solid assessment, we knew: what the problem was, how it would be addressed, the cost and more importantly (given the AHS debacle) he told us that he'd be the one doing the repair. It felt so good to know that the best person to assess the job was also the best person to tackle the job.
Poor Wayne and his colleague (whose name I can't quite recall this second) had one heck of a job digging the trench for the new line - thanks to a beast of a pine tree in our front yard. But not once did they complain... I didn't even see them taking a break from what was gruelling looking work. I even asked for an additional fitting to be installed (for my peace of mind) and it wasn't an issue. The workload was more than anticipated; not once did I talk to Wayne without a smile on his face.
The job is now complete and life has returned to normal. I've spoken to Helen a couple of times since and I don't just feel like we found a plumber for all of our future needs, we've found a friend.
I highly recommend Catania & Son. And since I know you are all curious of price, it was very fair. Don't waste the time I did contacting 4-5 plumbing companies, if you are reading this, you've found your plumbers.

I had a pipe bust under my sink and my wife was in need of a plumber immediately. She posted on Facebook recommendations and received many recommendations for Catania & Son plumbing by people in our area. We called them and explained our emergency and Helen who answered us was so helpful and friendly. We were in a panic and she was very comforting and assured us someone will be to our house within 20 minutes. Within 15 minutes Jerry and his son Evan show up like supermen and took care of our leak and replaced the part that broke. They were super helpful and also help us clean up the water in our kitchen which they did not have to do. There service with us was nothing less than exceptional. Amazing family owned and operated business!
I did a complete countertop change and Jerry and his son did the work in a timely and professional manner!
Helen who does the scheduling always picks up the phone and worked around my schedule. On top of all of that I purchased a very expensive faucet for my kitchen which ended up having an internal leak from the factory. Two weeks later when the new faucet arrived Jerry came back to the house and installed it free of charge!!!

We thought we might have a water leak so we decided to call a plumber to check. Jerry came out and walked us through his leak detection routine. He then comfirmed our suspicions and explained what would need to be done. We called Helen to start the process and she explained the timeline. She handled getting a permit from the city, scheduling the excavation, scheduling the plumber, scheduling the city inspector, and the filling of the trench when done. You would never know that we had a trench in our frontyard and through our rosebed.
We found them to be very professional and would recommend them to anyone needing a plumber.

I had to get the TPC valve and the vent for my water heater replaced in order to sell my house. I reached out via Yelp and they were awesome from start to finish. Professional, informative, easy to schedule with, then once they were there, very personable. I informed them the reason for the needed repairs and he made sure that if for whatever reason the inspector didn't approve of their work, they'd fix any problems for free.

Woke up this morning to a broken water main valve and no water in our house! Got a referral to this company from a friend and was so happy they were able to get us an appointment today. They asked me to text a photo of the problem to the woman who answered the phone so they could be prepared for their visit - thought that was a great idea and made more efficient use of both of our time.
They showed up early in the time window we were given and both guys were so friendly and professional. They fixed the problem within a couple hours and now all is well. Our bill was expensive but what do I know about plumbing repair costs?

This family was fantastic! I messaged Helen from Yelp and I believe she responded within an hour or two after their designated business hours. Jerry called me the next day to make an appointment and they came this morning 10 minutes early. Super fast and efficient! Unclogged my garbage disposal and helped me with a last minute problem with a bathroom faucet in probably 20 minutes flat.

Our water heater wasn't giving us any warm water anymore let alone hot. My boyfriend and I don't know much about plumbing, so all we could do was call a plumber. By far the best plumber I have ever called! If you want fast courteous service and fair and honest pricing this is who you need to call. I called yesterday and spoke to Helen who is Jerry's wife about replacing the guts in 3 toilets. Got a very prompt call back by Jerry who arranged to be here the next day. Jerry and his son Evan were here on time and finished the job in short order. I have found my new plumber and will call whenever I have a plumbing issue.
Had a piece of plastic somehow get dropped into my toilet clogging it. Called at 7 am to see if they could work on it, they were able to get me someone 2 hours later which was great! The guy who worked on it was Jerry, he was professional and went straight to work when he got here. He did such a great job that I asked if he had time to run a quick repair on a leaky faucet I had downstairs, the whole work order took maybe less than 30 min which was awesome and meant they valued my time too. I will call again for future plumbing needs.

Woke up on a Saturday morning to find water pouring out of the pvc pipe at the bottom of my water heater and needed an emergency plumber. Found Catania on Yelp and gave them a shot due to great reviews and the fact that it was a family owes business from NYC (where I'm from). Helen was on the other line when I called and I didn't leave a message since it was an emergency, but she actually texted me back immediately and then called!! Sent Wayne out within an hour!! He quickly assessed the problem (it needed to be replaced, which I knew because they had told me that when I bought the house), had a new one in stock and came back and replaced it the same day!! Simply put, I couldn't be more impressed with a plumbing company. If you have plumbing needs, and feel intimidated about not knowing what is wrong, or how much it could cost, Catania and Son NEEDS to be called. Jerry and Evan are the next door neighbors or best friend you can call on to help. Everything they did was done with sincere explanation and came with various options for repair. These guys were amazing! They arrived right on time which was fantastic. I gave them a brief description of what was wrong over the phone. When they arrived they took a quick look to confirm where the leak was coming from and then gave me the news. They had to replace my disposal but they came prepared and had my new one installed in no time. There is no gimmick and we are not a bunch of paid raters for yelp... these guys really are that good. From Helen who answered my urgent request at 11 pm to Evan and Jerry who showed up early the next day -they are all kind and thoughtful. Their positive attitude is catching (along with their cute New York accents) and they are genuinely kind people that also happen to do great plumbing work! I highly recommend Catania & Son Plumbing!!!! My first experience with them was several years ago when my mother needed a repair for her main water drain to the city sewer. The first plumber at a different company had quoted her over $7,000. I called Catania & Son for a second opinion. Jerry was fair, honest, and upfront with what needed to be done. His quote was $5,000 less than the other company's, and they did an amazing job, which included digging a ditch through the hard desert rock in her front yard.
My second experience with them was when we were searching for answers for the cause of a strong sewer smell at my condo. Two other plumbers that our HOA had hired came to assess the problem on two different occasions, and neither of them could find the issue. I called Helen, who is both professional and friendly, and she had Wayne and Evan come assess. They did a peppermint oil scent test in the vent stack, and discovered it was coming into our condo. They cut behind our kitchen cabinet and discovered the clean out vent to vent stack had not been capped! They quickly repaired it and no sewer smell since! This is the first time in TWO years that we have not smelled rotten egg sewer gas on a daily basis!!

Jerry and his son met my husband at our rental property to look at the leaking master shower. They were referred to us by another plumbing company that couldn't accommodate the appointment time. I'm so thankful now that the original company couldn't take us as we are so happy with the service Catania & Son provided.
They were on time, professional and offered the most honest service we've ever received. Instead of ripping us off and offering a service they knew we didn't necessarily need, they offered advice to help us rectify the problem.
My husband is not an easy man to please but he was blown away by their service. We will definitely be using their services for any future needs!
We found ourselves needing to replace a 15 year old water heater, install a water softener, and repair the line to the ice maker. We did the Yelp research and found Catania and Son to be highly rated and reliable, so I called and got to talk with Helen, who was very friendly and understood what we needed. She let us know their pricing and when we agreed she scheduled Wayne to come out. On the morning of the appointment Helen kept us updated also as to what time to expect him.
When Wayne arrived he went straight to work draining the old heater and installing a new one, put in the softener, and quickly figured out what was needed for the line to the ice maker. He was very knowledgeable and professional and was a pleasure to talk to. We are very happy we called Catania and Son!

So..... I use Yelp a lot, however I have never left a review, much less signed up for an account. I just now set up this account due to this business.
I have lived in the Las Vegas Valley for 30+ years. I have also had to use professionals to take care of things which I am not able.
As the Yellow pages are no longer as significant as the past, I did an Internet search.
A couple of things brought me to this plumbing business.
1. Locally owned.
2. Family business vs a large chain.
3. If you check out their web-page, there are fun facts about plumbing (never thought I would enjoy that, but I did! It also lets me know they are people vs a large plumbing corporation.).....and.....
4. Very good Yelp reviews.
Interaction: I called as soon as the business opened. (I left a voicemail) They also recommended sending a text. (I did that 30 minutes later and received an immediate response.). My appointment was set up via text messaging, including me sending pictures of my issues. My appointment was set!
Day of my appointment: I received a call about 45 minutes prior to my appointment to see if it was o.k. to come early. (Of course! However I appreciated the call. They would of waited, if I was not available for the earlier time.)
When they showed up, Jerry (owner) was there along with his son Evan. They were both very professional -AND- very personable. They had an East Coast way of communication, a bit loud (in an East Coast cool way.) but very easy to talk to. I am sure, if that was not comfortable with me, they would have altered their style. (I absolutely loved the interaction!)
I had several things for them to look at....and frankly added one or two things once they were at my home. All completed today.... One was a guesstimate for potential future work.
They completed the work efficiently, they did not try to up sell me for something not needed. They explained the what's and why's about what they were doing.
I can not remember a more pleasurable experience dealing with a plumber or home repair expert.
Joking around with Jerry and Evan, I stated.... I may just have to break some other plumbing, just to have your team back out!
It was a great experience as far as home repair goes. If in reading this, you choose them for your plumbing needs, I sincerely hope you have a similar experience. My thought is that you will.

Simply the BEST... I found this company through my home warranty and not only were they excellent to work with when I had a water leak in the wall last year, I have called them directly and they have advised me over the phone for my current situation.
I ended up calling my home warranty company again, yesterday and after ending up with another company with total and complete frustration... I called Catania and they were wonderful.
Catania treats their customers with Respect and without there help today, I would be in a Hotel as we have NO Hot water. Helen took my call and helped me get to the place I needed to ask the right questions to get a New Hot Water Heater in my home..

We used Catania & Sons for a few projects after moving into a new house. Helen was always very quick to respond and help with scheduling. They were able to come same day for a fairly urgent plumbing issue and were very reasonably priced. Jerry and his sons were wonderful - very helpful and sweet! When I told Jerry my husband wanted to install some toilets himself, he told me that if my husband needed help to just call him and was even willing to FaceTime. We ended up using them to install our toilets and when one of our tanks was cracked Jerry told me to get it replaced and once we had a new one he'd come the same day to finish the installation. Just purchased a Resale home built in 2015 and the previous owner didn't perform any maintenance. One item was the Tankless Water Heater. After searching on YELP, I saw that Catania & Son received excellent reviews. I spoke with Helen, she was friendly and accommodating and scheduled my visit. The Plumber, Wayne, arrived on-time and took the time to explain the procedures he'd be performing and what I could do myself. Wayne also answered my questions and was done within an hour. I will definitely call Catania & Son whenever we have Plumbing needs.
When I noticed my water heater leaking, I called the property manager who contacted Catania plumbing. Shortly after, I received a call from Jerry to help me turn off the water and power to the unit and he took town some information on the unit to expedite a replacement. Jerry and his son Evan came out the next morning to disconnect and drain the old water heater and put in a referral for a new unit. They were very friendly and reassuring. Unfortunately, the owner of my building could not be contacted for approval the same day. When they finally received approval to come replace the water heater, they were kind enough to explain the replacement process step-by-step to my (very) curious little brother. These guys are awesome and I'd recommend them to anyone in need of a plumber.

Called on an emergency at 8am on a Friday as a mishap cracked the main water supply to our house in the garage. We had a repairman at our house by 1pm and not only did he fix it but diagnosed that the connection was outdated and dangerous. Here's your problem... Las Vegas / Henderson are great places to live, but there is a problem when it comes to services. People with wire cutters call themselves electricians. If they have a hammer they are at the very least a carpenter. If they have a wrench.... They are plumbers! Or so they profess. I've had multiple experiences with Jerry and his boys. Great guys. They found a way to reroute my sisters broken underground pipe, fixed my various problems and here's the best part... They are good with their estimates and they are on time. Ask them and they will give you a realistic answer / idea to what ever your concerns are. Jerry offered us a great deal on a Halo water system. We are saving up and plan to see them soon.

Though I didn't use their service because the problem was a sprinkler leak ( which I didn't know at first), Helen, the was owner was very nice...... she responded right right away and asked more questions and even talked to me by phone. Now this is great customer service. I will definitely use Catania and Son Plumbing if I'll have a plumbing problem.

When called, Helen helped me make an appointment. She was very friendly & accommodating. Jerry & his son came to my house right on time! (A few minutes early actually which was great.) These guys came out and fixed a leaky outside faucet. While he was here I asked him to look at another one with a different issue and also asked him to look at my son's bathtub as he just told me it is plugged and they did without any hesitation, even though I originally only had him come out fir 1 thing. They did a great job and this was back in July and it's now November and everything they fixed is working great still! They were very friendly and knowledgeable and took their time to get it right, which I appreciated! I felt the price was very reasonable for the quality of work provided. I will call them if I have any issues in the future.
While I was cleaning and organizing my garage I noticed that there was a small damp spot on the cement floor directly below my water main valve assembly. Upon closer examination I discovered a very small leak from the copper elbow joint that connected to the shutoff valve. I took photos and requested quotes from 4 plumbers for replacement of the copper elbow fitting and shutoff valve. One company that I had used previously messaged me back with: I got you (and nothing followed). Two other companies insisted on coming to the house to provide an estimate and then scheduling a visit to perform the work. I didn't understand why this extra step was necessary since the photos clearly showed the leak and shutoff valve. Fortunately, Helen from Catania and Son responded with a reasonable quote and said that they could come the next morning. They arrived right on time the following morning. Jerry and his son Evan were friendly and professional and they did a great job.

What a great family-run business! So easy to work with, professional and fun to talk to. They went above and beyond to educate us on the plumbing situation in our new house. Catania & Son Plumbing knocked it out of the park again! They are who I go to and recommend for all my plumbing needs! They were quick to return my call, walk me through my repair, scheduling was a breeze and they are always honest and fair!
I accidentally dropped my wedding ring down my sink's overflow valve and was in a complete panic. I called Catania and was told that Jerry was nearby and he arrived 5 MINUTES LATER. I was floored. He got to work quickly and rescued my ring in about 20 minutes. I could've cried, I was so relieved. Jerry is friendly and very professional and I won't hesitate to call him up in the future for any and all of my plumbing needs.
I was very pleased with the service and how responsive they were! I called them for broken faucet and while they were at my house I had them look at my leaky disposal. Wayne showed me there was a big crack in the unit and arranged his schedule to come out early the next morning to get it fixed. On top of the great service the price was fair.

Jerry does great work for a great price. I have had Jerry fix toilets, replace water heaters, install a soft water system, and install sinks. Every time Jerry explained everything that needed to be done and answered every question I had. I have always been happy with the quality of work and even happier when the bill comes. I recommend Catania & Son Plumbing to all of my friends not only for how affordable they are, but also for the quality of work.
Catania & Son Plumbing really saved the day for us when we had a leaking water heater in our rental unit. They were able to send out the plumber the same day to assess the situation and then we had to wait 48 hours to give the condo neighbors notice that the water would be turned off for the work. Catania & Son worked with our tenant to schedule the quickest possible repair/replacement of an older unit and Helen in the office was wonderful to work with. We are very pleased with the job done and will certainly call them in the future if we have any plumbing needs. We would not hesitate to recommend their work.
Jerry, Helen, and Evan are the friendliest and most professional people/company I've worked with. They truly go above and beyond to assure and maintain customer satisfaction. I had a bid from another company and called Helen to request an estimate from Catania and Son. Jerry and Evan came out and gave me a list of items that needed to be repaired (3 things) and gave me a very reasonable quote. They also scheduled the repairs around MY schedule. The other company that gave me the bid claimed 6 things were wrong and changed the quote price twice! I told Jerry about the other 3 items and he checked and said nothing was wrong with them! Helen responded promptly to my request for a quote to replace a plugged Moen shower cartridge. I had watched a few videos on diy repairs and it ranged from straightforward replacements in less than 15 minutes to several hours, depending upon how much rust or debris plugged the faucet. I had requested quotes from other plumbers and one said they would charge me by the half hour. Once i sent a photo of the faucet, Helen reaffirmed for me her initial quote for replacement of a standard Moen cartridge and I decided to go with it. Jerry came as scheduled with his son and was very skillful and efficient. He was done in 20 minutes. He recommended to get a puller for Moen faucets if I decide to do it myself next time. I also asked for their yelp discount which they honored. I would call them again for help.
I started working with Jerry through property management 2 years ago through one of our owners, and I haven't regretted it since. Jerry and his team are so reliable and helpful, it's hard to pass up their services.
Jerry is very knowledgeable; his team is organized; and they will do everything they can to help you out to get your plumbing issues fixed. Another vendor I strongly recommend.

Catania and Son Plumbing really did a great job from start to finish. Our warranty company sent them after we had a terrible experience with another plumber. Was blown away with how prompt, knowledgeable, and down to earth they were. They spent extra time making sure everything was right, left the bathroom impeccable and best of all... leak is fixed. I wouldn't hesitate to use them! Give them a try, you will be so happy you did.
I was so lucky that my home warranty company assigned them as my plumber while I called for several plumbing issues. We discovered a leak outside our home but unknown to us it was inside house in the wall. Called other plumbing companies, they did not want to proceed without leak detection first, which was several hundreds of dollars..called Catania & Son Plumbing. I called Helen on a Saturday, bright and early at 7:30am regarding my broken/leaky water heater. By 10:30am, a new unit was provided and professionally installed by one of her team members. Helen took care of all the permitting and by 8am Monday (next business day) the unit passed inspection. This was not just great customer service, this was a great customer experience on my part. No one ever wants to replace household appliances, but it comes with the territory. Catania & Son made this painless.I recommend this wonderful family own business to everyone.
I came in contact with the Catania & son through my insurance company(who totally screwed me for my water heater!) I ended up having to pay the entire cost of a new water heater at a difficult time for me financially. However, my experience with Jerry and Helen, the owners was wonderful. They gave me the best quote possible and even upgraded my water heater.
They understood my condition and accommodated me very well even when I had to postpone the install for work. Jerry came out with his team of 3 and they were all amazing guys. It was great talking to them while they finished their work in under an hour! I would definitely recommend them over any of the bigger players like Home Depot/Lowes etc. The price they offered was cheaper than these chains and I do not think anyone can match the level of service provided by the install team.
Run the way all businesses should, with dedicated professionals who don't cut corners. We had a water boiler spewing water everywhere. They responded quickly and got the job done professionally. Call them!
It's hard to find great service in Vegas, but Jerry is the exception! East Coast way of doing things unlike the typical Vegas morons... Five Stars and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
This was the most horrible plumbing experience I have had in my life. Jerry, the owner, came over with his son to help us with our clogged kitchen sink and it was a disaster. He used a bucket I had (did not even have his own bucket) to drain the water that had clogged in the sink, and while it was abundantly clear the bucket was not big enough to contain all the water from the sink, he acted shocked when it began to overflow. Instead of stopping the pipe and trying to empty the bucket and coming back to refill it, Jerry just stood there and shook his head and watched stinking sewage water flood my cabinet and kitchen floor. He then said he didn't have the tools to fix the problem so he would have to contract the work out to someone else, and proceeded to leave me with a cabinet full of water and an unusable sink. The next two plumbers I spoke with said they would never ever leave a client with water that likely has draino in it in their cabinet and kitchen floor. I did everything I could to get jerry to come back that day but he never did, and hung up on me when I asked. Save yourself a lot of headache and go with a more professional company, one that won't leave you completely hanging if the job goes south.
I cannot say enough positive things about this company if I tried to. They were fast, honest, upfront, and most of all didn't try to rip me off or overcharge me. They were reasonable, friendly, and to be honest by the way I was treated I felt like family. If you need a plumbing repair, call here first. You won't be disappointed.

They were on time, clean, thorough and they were super friendly. Price was spot on and getting a quality plumber isn't easy. Would highly recommend this company. These folks are incredible! So friendly and helpful. Helen is a delight to talk to! I had a quote to replace the water supply line from the sidewalk to the house from another company and I decided to try Catania & sons. Wayne Atkins came out and confirmed my diagnosis. I was quoted about 25% less than the first company. Wayne came out a few days later and HAND trenched the yard being careful to preserve the sod so I would be spared of extensive sod repair/replacement. Wayne came out (after the city inspected the job) and backfilled the trench and sod ON A SUNDAY! It's been a few days and nearly all of the grass is still alive despite it being 115 degrees outside. A very small area may need a small piece of sod replaced, but that was an area of lawn that was already sketchy. No biggie. I would not hesitate to use them again! Many thanks to this team!

I can not give enough credit to Catania & Son Plumbing. A construction repair company left me with unfinished plumbing issues (two disconnected sinks, a disconnected toilet, a sink and two faucets needing installation, etc.) and an uncooperative subcontracting plumbing company who told me that I wasn't their client. (Never mind the fact that I had already paid the contractors for the work.) Desparate, I called Catania & Sons. Helen was so patient in listening to my situation and calming me down, telling me they would do what they could to help. She worked around my schedule to send Wayne out to assess the situation. He thoroughly checked everything out and recommended a few additional fixes to protect my home. Helen again worked around my schedule to send Wayne out to complete the work. I was amazed by his thoroughness, the quality of the work, and the care he gave to my home. He even addressed some of the poor quality work done by the construction company. Plumbing issues make me nervous, but I was very comfortable with Wayne as he explained everything and left me confident in his abilities. Catania & Sons treated my home as their own. Helen is absolutely incredible: warm, caring, and very knowledgeable. It's obvious that they truly care about their customers and treat them like family. I highly recommend and will use again. Submitted for several quotes, Catania & Son were quick to respond with several different size disposal motor quotes along with install fees. Others responded from Yelp as well and most were reasonably close in price, but Catania & Son had great reviews. They came over when requested and replaced the disposal. While doing the work they found a problem with another pipe in the sink - sent me a picture, and really helped me avert another problem. Easy transaction and great work. Will call again when needed. Six stars if I could, thanks!

Mr. Catania and his son were absolutely awesome! He came across as a very honest and trustworthy person. I had a toilet issue, which was a main line blockage and they finished the job very quickly and efficiently. They were very kind and down to earth and I just knew I made the right decision to use their services. The price was also very reasonable compared to other companies in town. I will definitely use them again for any future plumbing needs!
