Absolute Drain Service

My tub and toilet decided to back up this morning after taking a shower. Within two hours of calling them they were out and fixed the problem immediately. Very professional! They even took the time to answer all of my questions and what to do if the problem should occur again. I won't be calling anyone else in this area for plumbing issues and I will be more than happy to suggest them to friends and family.

I highly recommend Absolute Drain Service! Called this morning because of a sewer back up. After calling several companies and being told they couldn't come until after hours and would be charged extra for after hour service, Micky called me back and said I can be there shortly. Showed up with in ten minutes and was able to fix the issue!

Absolute Drain was quick to respond initially to our first call, but they are extremely overpriced at $350 for 15 minutes to open the leach field. It took three days for them to answer a follow-up call and by that time we had to close the hole for the safety of our visitors, and move on to other projects. Thankfully our leach field is working well and didn't need their service after all. We are not recommending them at this time!!!

My house is an old one so it seems that every year I'm dealing with a clogged drain behind my washing machine. After dealing with another plumbing company based in Carson City that charged me $350.50 without even solving the issue, I was referred to Mickey at Absolute Drain. He kindly took my call on a Sunday evening and was at my house the next morning by 9:30. Within 30 minutes he had the drain cleared and charged an extremely reasonable price. Very competent, dependable, and family owned. My new go to plumber. Highly recommend.

We had two other plumbers come to our house to try and fix our backed up kitchen sink and neither of them knew what to do or could fix it! One of the other plumbers even charged us to do nothing. Absolute Drain was recommended to us and they knew exactly what to do! They went on our roof and cleaned the pipe /air vent from there (something the other plumbers were totally unaware of doing) and the blockage was cleared and the kitchen sink drained instantly. Highly recommend them - they also have great prices!

I only gave them one star because they showed up.  They are the most un knowledgeable professional company I've ever dealt with.  And extremely rude.  I strongly advise nobody use them.  They didn't even know how to snake a drain.

We had a blockage and sewage flooding in our front yard. I called on Thursday night and they were out Friday morning. Mickey was so friendly and got everything cleared up in minutes. Their prices are also very fair. After calling three other places they were the only ones that could come out within 24 hours and not charge me an additional fee to do so. I would highly recommend!

A pleasure to do business with such an honest person.   We have had Micky come out several times over the years and have found him to be knowledgeable and effecient as well as reasonable.

I'm an absentee landlord with a property in Reno. For several years, there had been root problems with the sewer line, and my property manager at the time used Absolute to rooter the line. The owner made it clear to the property manager that these were temporary fixes and that one day, the line would need replacement. They were always honest, fast and reasonable with these repairs.
Fast forward a few years and a new property manager. The line finally gave up and the new manager got me bids for the repair, which were very expensive. Finally, I went back into my records and found a receipt from Absolute. When I call, Mickey the owner went out to inspect and video the failure then called back and explained to me how to go about getting the repair done for about half the cost that I'd been bid. The work is done and done right, thanks to the help and advice from Absolute. Although I will probably never need his service again for this drain, I would strongly encourage anyone in need to call them and use their services. It seems that it's not easy to find the kind of honesty and integrity that I found with Absolute Drain Service these days.

Bobby from Absolute Drain just left after performing a miracle and unclogging our very clogged up toilet.  He made sure the toilet was flushing completely, left absolutely no mess, and was very nonjudgmental about how our toilet got in that situation.  He arrived a little early, was pleasant and informative, and the cost was very reasonable.

If we ever have another problem with clogged pipes, I'll call Absolute Drains and ask for Bobby.

Well pleased !  Our drains plugged on a Saturday and it was Sunday late that another drain service came out unprepared with a long enough cable.  Called Beth at Absolute Drain.  Service guys came out same day and quickly solved our problem.  Highly recommend.

This man literally just saved my sanity!! After a year of our septic backing up, snaking it and even emptying it to no avail, he came and showed me exactly what the problem was AND how we could fix it ourselves instead of trying to take advantage of a desperate situation! It's been one thing after another in the short year that we've owned this house and I can't tell you how much I appreciate an honest and genuine person at this point.

Another time I've had a great experience with service in the Reno area, and I'm glad to have a plumber I can call now without having to dig through a bunch of numbers and Roto-Rooter commercials.

They were easy to get ahold of and were over within a couple hours to fix my drain issue (I'm a girl, I have long hair, shockingly the shower wouldn't drain properly). He was in an out, literally five minutes after arriving he was on his merry way. Drain was fixed, problem resolved, and he was really friendly and courteous.

I think my only complaint was that this five minute service cost me $60. But, that's how the world works and I wouldn't have wanted to dig all that hair out of the drain.

Called a national name company for an emergency Sunday service. No response, no call back. Called Absolute Drain, they have scoped drains for me before. Bobby was here in under an hour and removed the clog. I'm still waiting for a call from the Rooter guys.....

Talked to Mickey early morning to get an estimated time for him to come out and help us with a clogged sink that we could not fix ourselves.  He gave us an estimated time he would be able to get out and updated us twice with an ETA on this arrival which helped us plan our day.  When Mickey arrived, he was quick to look at our clog and provide a solution.  He quickly got the job completed and cleaned up around the area he worked.  The price was exactly as quoted on the phone.  Thanks Mickey for getting our kitchen back to normal.

The owner is very gruff and unfriendly. He wasnt here for over 30 minutes. When i asked how much was the bill, he said that if i wanted him to pour ROOTX down the toilet, it would be $400! I thought, wow, this ROOTX stuff must be expensive to use. I went online and it was only $39.00!  I will NEVER use this company again!!!!!!!

They showed up on time and did a great job! They flushed my sewage pipe out then let me watch as a camera was ran all through and Mickey explained what we were looking at and was professional throughout the job. I would recommend them to anyone!

Great experience working with Mickey and his crew. He came out to do a sewer scope as part of our home inspection and we found some unexpected issues with a big root ball blocking the connection to the city main. He was able to come back later the same day to clear the line, reinspect and treat the roots with chemicals, all while patiently answering all my questions. What could have been a stressful situation figuring out the extent and cost of repairs was resolved in the same day, awesome! I would recommend Absolute Drain for all your drainage needs; they are responsive, professional and hard working.

Mickey came out and fixed 4 of my drains that were draining slow. He was quick and efficient, which I appreciated because I left work to meet him. The price was good and I will definitely call them anytime I need drain work done!

Called Absolute Drain Tuesday morning at 8AM about a backed up bathtub and made an appointment for 10 AM. They were there on time, very professional and had it fixed in 30 minutes.  Price was fair and reasonable, and they even noticed and reported a leak under the sink!  They explained everything and we are very happy with the service. I will definitely use Absolute Drain again if we have another problem in the future.

Talked with Ian about a blocked drain.  He had Matt out the same day and took care of the blockage.  Had a tiny problem which Ian took care of and was prompt on getting back to me.  Highly recommend these guys.  Worked with Ian's Dad many years ago.  Love working with family owned businesses. The sewer was backing up into the shower/tub and Mickey came out same day.  He stuck to the VERY REASONABLE quote he gave me over the phone and he gave me some great advice for how to make this process (which will inevitably have to be done again thanks to some awful orangeburg pipes) easier.  Mickey really showed a rare quality in his care for his customers, and I trust him, his recommendations and his company implicitly.  Really grateful and a forever client.

They came, they saw, they conquered. Wasn't a big job, but he had to snake the whole line. Cleared it out, all good now!  Very reasonable price for weekday service.

A strange and scary thing was happening in my house.  When my washing machine drained, my downstairs bathroom flooded and waste came up through the drain in the shower.  At the recommendation of plumbers I've worked with before I called Absolute Drain Service which specializes in drainage problems.  They were able to send out a service man the same day, and he was able to remove the blockage from the line, test the drains, AND clean the worst mess from the shower.  He finished this job in less than two hours and the charge came to less than $200.00.  I don't think service could have been better. I hope I won't have to, but I'd definitely call them again if I have another drain problem.

Called them to come clean out my drain. They made an appointment with me for the next day and never showed up. When we tried to call they did. It answer their phone.

They have helped me out two times in the last year. Very quick to respond. Fair pricing and most importantly took care of the problem both times

I have used them a few times. The most impressive time was when I had a clog in my kitchen pipe that was at least 10 feet into the line. A team of two people came by and in 20 minutes fixed a clog that turned out to be 25 feet deep. They also fixed some damage caused by another handyman within those 20 minutes. Their prices have been quite reasonable every time I have used them.

I was initially recommended by another plumbing service to use them which I find pretty impressive.

Fast, reliable and reasonable; actually 24 hr service if you need it.  Called  and talked with a real person.  Bobby and Ian came out and made fast work of the clogged drain.   Awesome!

I have called Aboslute drain to my property several times to clear my sewer drain before I finally dug up the old Orangeburg pipe that was installed as my sewer lateral 54 years ago.

Mickey's guys cleaned up the mess and unclogged my drain quickly and was able to give me a diagnoses and probable cause.  He even warned me that the sewer line would be come clogged again in a few months due to roots growing into the pipe.  Very honest about the state of the pipe in ground and what could be done about it.

I appreciate the prompt service and the prognosis about my different options going forward.  Thanks again!

The kindest actions are given by these plumbers. Mickey is always available, always answers when called and always finds a way to come as quickly as he can to solve the plumbing issue.  They are reliable and efficient. You are in very capable hands with Absolute Drain.

We would not use these guys again.  Bobby fixed our problem but left other problems in his wake.  He didn't close the door to the crawl space under the house which we didn't discover til a week later, he didn't put the drain-stopper back in the sink after he was finished, and he did a crappy job when he put the toilet back in place because now it leaks which leaves us with a pool of water around the toilet and we have to call someone else to fix that.

First plumber I called didn't show up when they said they would and never even called us back.   These guys were prompt, effective and very reasonably priced.   Highly recommend!!

Holy Cow! Who would have thought a plugged drain could be a nice experience. It started with my phone call to Mickey, he was very friendly and nice. Bobby was at our house in an hour. He was professional, fast and efficient. Cleaned everything up before he left. Price was very reasonable. They have excellent customer service and are a pleasure to work with. I hope I don't need their services again. But, I do I'll be glad to give them a call.

These guys are AMAZING! I really appreciated their direct communication on our less than awesome main drain situation. They didn't sugar coat anything and provided us with very realistic expectations. In addition, they also called ahead and coordinated an amazing plumber to finish some of the work that needed to be done. We could not be more pleased with their work and assistance. The only thing that would have been better was if we didn't need their services to begin with .
