HISTORY
Established in 2011.
Quick Relief Plumbing was founded by master plumber Anthony Ficara in 2011. After over 13 years of plumbing in Kansas City as an employee for other companies I decided it was time to start my own plumbing repair company in Kansas City. Now with over 18 years of plumbing experience in the Kansas City area and 5 years in business I have grown a very loyal customer base and want to expand. I have grown very slowly intentionally because my main focus is on customer satisfaction and quality not quantity. Most all of my work is from customer referral. I hope to add a quality service plumber this summer to the team to continue providing the best experience a homeowner can have when hiring a plumbing company in Kansas City.
ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
Owner/operator Anthony Ficara is a licensed master plumber with over 18 years of plumbing experience in the Kansas City area. Growing up in the plumbing business working by my fathers side helped me from an early age to become the plumber I am today. I started plumbing new homes in Kansas City area when I was 16 years old, homes from $150,000 up to $2,000,000. After 4 years of new construction plumbing I was ready for a change of pace, I was ready for more of a challenge. I was hired at a plumbing service company in kansas city repairing or replacing plumbing from underground sewer & water lines to toilet repair and drain cleaning. Working along side my father as a kid in the plumbing trade instilled a real passion for plumbing. The service & repair side of plumbing is much more rewarding for me then new construction plumbing because of the challenge associated with discovering the problem and finding the right solution or repair. At 34 years of age I still love what I do!

We called Anthony at 8:00 AM for a sump pump failure and water in our crawl space. He came out to inspect the issue within a couple of hours and gave us a very reasonable estimate. We agreed and they were pumping out our crawl space by 1:00 PM and finished installing a new sump pump by 3:00 PM. Great customer service and even better performance. We are now going to have them back to give us estimates on replacing some old lead plumbing in our crawl space.
I highly recommend you call them for any reasonable, professional and prompt plumbing needs you may have.

Is this plumber still in business? Recently, he installed a water heater, garbage disposal, installed some piping, etc. We tried calling him twice and also tried texting him twice with no reply from him.

No frills, no spills - 2 weeks ago, Quick Relief Plumbing originally handled a home warranty call I had for low flow in all of my home faucets. Anthony F. was very honest and professional about the work - including what the warranty probably would not cover. This was important because I needed to understand what additional costs I would have, and he explained everything to me. He made quick work of what he could fix and gave me a fair quote on what the warranty would not cover. I appreciated his professionalism, the speed as which he worked, and his honest opinion on what needed to still be done. I immediately decided I would have QRP come back out and do the needed work. I met the other Anthony when he returned a few days later to complete the work. During this visit, Anthony L. took care of what needed to be done, made time to take care of an additional concern I had, and even showed me how to do some maintenance on my water heater.
From a customer service perspective, I was extremely happy with my interactions with them in person. Sometimes on the phone, they can sound a bit short with customers - maybe even annoyed but I wasn't bothered by this because I know they are always busy - especially this time of year. I do believe they have an answering service now which is nice for after hours calls, etc.
Bottom line: in my opinion, they get the job done, they are fair priced, and they will come out within 12 months if I'm not happy with the work or if I notice any leaks/problems. That's 5 star service to me.
A month into living at our house we discovered the grinder pump in our basement stopped working. We were really anxious after finding out that it wasn't covered under our home warranty. But Anthony and Scott at Quick Relief took care of us fast and at a cost much less than expected. We'll be calling them should we ever need plumbing services again and I recommend you do as well.
Had a failure with our hot water heater. Under warranty with AHS home warranty so were referred to another company first. That company never contacted us and when I read the reviews, they had a horrible rating. We reached out to AHS to refer us to another plumber and we were referred to Quick Relief Plumbing. Within two days they had come out to review the issue and replaced the unit. I was super impressed that they made an effort to complete the service in a very timely manner. All the employees I dealt with, from the appointment scheduler to Anthony to the two men who replaced the unit, were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this company.
