Quick response time, fair estimate, good service, friendly. Would recommend, and would use again.

I paid $285 to get a toliet unclogged that took ten minutes and then another $90 service call. seemed a little pricey for someone being in my home forty five minutes.
Plumber was very polite and helpful...just really expensive. Compare costs before booking.

We had a HVAC technician coming the next day and needed a new line run for the humidifier.  Job was done quickly and when promised!

The most unprofessional and rude plumbing company I've ever encountered. The only positive thing I can say is they got back with me quickly, however can not excuse the manner in which I was disrespectfully treated and rudely spoken to. The plumber attempted to make an appointment to come out without a price quote, but I requested to know pricing in advance. When he finally gave me his price, I mentioned I thought it seemed high. He then became very belligerent, cursing, swearing, and insulting me, and hung up abruptly slamming down the telephone.

John came out and installed my new faucet. He was fast and friendly! Very fair prices.

John was thorough and detailed in his assessment of our problems. He fixed them in a timely manner and was responsive to our needs.

I hired Hometown Plumbing because I realized I needed my shower/tub valve cut out and that's where I draw the line at my diy plumbing. Since I was going to have to hire a plumber I decided to have them install my new sink and dishwasher as well just so I knew it would be done correctly.

I called them and set up a time to have them give me an estimate and possibly do the work same day but they needed to get some parts so they came back first thing the next day. Everything was done quickly and he cleaned up after. Final cost was the same as the quote but there wasn't much left as a surprise since we had the wall demo'd out.

Since it was originally a diy project I did have a lot of the parts bought already. So my only note would be let him get the parts you need so they are under his warranty. But he was upfront that any parts he used that were purchased by me wouldn't be covered and I was ok with that as they were smaller parts.

Not sure how his prices compare to others because I needed the job done quickly but from the estimate it seemed fair with the labor involved. I would definitely hire and recommend them in the future!

I used Yelp to find a plumber and get a valid estimate.  I did not choose this plumber because the price was triple everyone else.  I sent a message letting them know I was going with Simone else.  I got a very spiteful and said I cost him $30.  I don't know how I cost them but I didn't deserve the nasty reply. I won't ever call this place.

We had a backed up sanitary sewer line and John showed up within two hours of our call.  Great service.  Wore a mask.  Explained everything that was being done and educated us on our home's plumbing.  May have cost more than other competitors, but John was the only one who could come quickly, so we were willing to pay.  His magnet will stay on our fridge for years to come and we will call again if we have any plumbing issues in the future.  Highly recommend this company!

Fixed secondary, cosmetic issues but the reason for the call was ignored. Gave the impression all was good when clearly it wasn't.
This is a 6 member house hold, all sharing a shower in the Master bedroom

This is our 2nd time calling John for help.  He installed a new faucet for our utility sink.  It was done quickly and professionally just like the kitchen faucet he helped install for us last year.  If you want someone who is honest, professional, and personable, John is your guy.

Apparently too busy to take on new business. Requested info, got a note saying they're closed until Monday and another note politely telling me to go elsewhere as they're too fast at their shop.

From the beginning there was good communication. John came out to fix a leaking faucet in the tub that had became an issue. No Matter what we did it just kept leaking. It turned out to be a much bigger issue than anticipated but John walked us through what needed to happen and why. As a previous review posted he explained to us every step of the way. We have an older house so we come to expect these things when we run into issues.  We highly recommend John and will be using him again in the future.

I've had 3 separate visits from John and as a new homeowner I am happy to have found a great local plumber. John has been very quick to respond and quick to schedule.

My experience with East Plumbing was above average it was excellent 5 star service. Mr. Andre Wright was able to fix my sump pump, way before the estimated time. I was also informed/educated of ways to solve future plumbing problems

Replace basement underground sewer pipe (5 ft). John told me $3000. Then charge me $6000. Unbelievable

I appreciate John coming right out he came with a mask he was on time very professional he looked at the job and was able to tell me right away what was wrong and within less than an hour he was able to complete the job I have everything fixed right away. I am rating him five stars!

John is awesome. He responded really quickly and came out as soon as he was able. We've been calling around to other plumbers and they either didn't answer or weren't able to come for at least 24-48 hours. John was here within 12 hours of us contacting him, he texted us when he was on his way here, and he got here exactly at the time that he said he would. He was very kind, respectful, and knowledgeable. He got to work right away and he was straight forward and honest. My husband and I had a great experience and would absolutely hire him again!

I've had my basement drain back up numerous times since buying this house 5 years ago and twice in the last year. I paid the plumbers, they snaked my drain and I even asked why this happened so often. They told me we must be using too much toilet paper or putting in other things that don't belong in the toilet and never mentioned the sewer line. I've owned 2 other homes and this never happened before. Since it kept happening, I wanted to try a different plumber and I saw the great reviews that Hometown Plumbing got so I called and John came out right away. He cleaned out my sewer line and even gave me tips on how to keep it from blocking up again. He was extremely courteous and the price was right. Since moving back to Michigan I've had to find reliable repair services for my car and home all over again, but had not found a plumber I could trust. I have one now.

We replaced our old kitchen sink and a new drinking water system. John is really responsible and professional. Quickly got in touch with me, scheduled appointment and completed the work. Neat and nice job. Recommend.

John replaced some bathroom plumbing items and fixed our gas line to our dryer so it is done the correct way now. I contacted him and was out here fast and is very knowledgable. I would recommend Hometown Plumbing to anyone looking for a plumber.

Abosuletly the nicest person I have met in a long time. Called him late, he actually answered and went and helped a friend. I will be using him in the future for any jobs I have come my way. I appreciate the way you do business.

John from Hometown came on time and spent few hours replacing our toilets and bathroom facets. Prices were reasonable. Reviewed the job after the work was done and offered to come back if any issues come up. Did a nice job, was polite and cleaned up. Took the old toilets with him to dispose of.
I would recommend Hometown plumbing if you need to have new plumbing fixtures added.

Great communication, reasonably priced and efficient. I would definitely recommend. Came out to repair a leaky basement sink on short notice.
