HISTORY
Garth Edblom serves as the Service Manager for A-fordable. He has over 40 years experience in the plumbing industry. As a young apprentice, he worked with his father learning the plumbing trade. Now, as Service Manager of A-fordable, he oversees the management of the service department and training and supervision of the 6 plumbing service technicians.

We had an emergency where we could not use any water in our house. With a baby at home and no relatives close by that we could stay with, Mike and John were at our house by 11am the next day and fixed our issue.
I would recommend A-Fordable Plumbing to anyone and everyone. Mike was very knowledgeable and has great customer service.

I called to get a quote or someone to come out to quote. I described the installation I wanted done and they did not understand me. I told them I wanted to switch out and unthreaded pipe with threaded pipe and have a tub spout installed. They wanted me to submit pictures via text. I guess they have never seen an unthreaded cooper pipe coming out of wall before because that is what they wanted a picture of. That made me have no confidence in them so I decided to call someone else.
I had a clogged kitchen sink. Made the appointment Thursday evening, they sent someone Friday morning. He came and fixed my clogged sink. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. While he was at my house had he take a look at my kitchen faucet, because I was on the verge of replacing it because the water was coming out so slow. Turns out it was not installed properly, so he fixed that as well. I am very happy with the work that was done. And I will for sure use them again if needed.

We had A-formidable plumbing come to our home to install new fixtures in our quartz countertop in the kitchen and repair a small leak behind drywall in an upstairs wall next to a bathroom. Mike (the plumber assigned to our project) was professional, friendly and reasonably-priced. All work and cleanup was done to our full satisfaction. Highly recommended and reputable - and very pleasant to work with!

Will never recommend them. The website says 24 hour service and talks all about how they help ppl 24 hours and in emergencies. However, we called on a Sunday needing help that day and no one would call us back. They will never get our business and I would recommend everyone to call elsewhere.
Problem fixed in a matter of minutes and no hard up-selling to replace. It was a little bit pricier than expected but for the service, I don't mind. Knowing as much as I know about garbage disposals, they could have sold me anything, but they didn't. I was very satisfied!
We had two plumbing issues that needed fixing. We called and they were able to come out the same day. In fact the plumber came within the hour of our phone call! I was shocked. He came in, looked at the two problem areas, gave us a quote, and with out permission went right to work. He was polite and courteous and fixed both problems quickly. It was great! The cost was also a lot cheaper than expected!
Over the Christmas holiday we found a water leak at my mom's house. We contacted A-fordable Plumbing & they contacted us right away. They were able to come right out. Jason called us when he was 20 minutes away to give us a head's up. He was very respectful of the house & was very friendly. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue & fixed it in a very short period of time. My mom felt very comfortable with his service & will definitely use him in the future. Thanks much!!
Mike D did a fantastic job installing my water softener. Very knowledgeable and professional. I could tell he genuinely took pride in his work. A true master. On top of all that, the final bill came in at the lower end of the quote. My new go to company in Clarkston for plumbing issues

I called in the morning to make arrangements for a new gas water heater install and was very politely and courteously scheduled that very day at my convenience. Delmar came to install the new water heater. He was courteous, and professional the entire time. Afordable Plumbing was recommended to me by neighbors and I will definitely recommend them to others too.

As we had done in the past, we hired A-Fordable Plumbing and Mechanical to handle a plumbing problem. Again, we could not have been more pleased. John and Tony were totally professional, skilled, friendly, and knowledgeable. The cause of our problem was clearly explained, as were the steps required to resolve the same, with no pressure to pay for equipment or services we did not need. Within a very short period of time, the problem was diagnosed and resolved, and they cleaned up and left. The cost of the service was very reasonable. We strongly recommend A-Fordable Plumbing and Mechanical for all plumbing needs.
Called A-Fordable after reading previous reviews. Kathy was pleasant and professional as was the Will who called shortly after. He showed up quickly and fixed my toilet drain. I would call them again and refer themto others Price was the same as quoted.
We've always had great experiences with A-fordable Plumbing. We love the work they did over a year ago on our bathroom remodel when we installed a walk-in-shower. Recently Mike D came out and replaced our outside faucets. Super friendly and did a great job. Also, the ladies when I called to setup the appointment were very knowledgeable and helpful. :)
Communication via Yelp not helpful. Did not call as requested. Just emailed a day later to ask if we were on city water or well, I answered, then radio silence. I had to call them myself, and then found out they only service one brand of hot water heater. I called someone else.

After A-fordable Plumbing tried to sell us two new water heaters for $5,000, we called another company. Our AO Smith water heaters are less than seven years old and they were not even leaking! A & F Hot Water Specialists came out and repaired the problem the next day for a few hundred dollars. A-fordable Plumbing should be A-shamed of themselves!

Our Water heater shut down and since it was under warranty, the manufacturer suggested this company. Mike.D did a great job, knew what he was doing and completed the job in 30 min. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks guys.

Mike D from A-fordable Plumbing came out and replaced my old water heater with a new one. Great job! He came when he said he would, was professional, courteous and installed a great new water heater. Mike had been out before to replace a sump pump which was not working. He explained everything he was doing and walked me through the maintenance process. The whole team at A-fordable was absolutely outstanding to work with....to include the folks answering the phone who were very friendly and helpful. I will use A-fordable for all my plumbing work and anything else in the company's scope.

If you want the best and the job done right the first time call these folks. I have used them in two of my homes spanning a good number of years and have never had an issue. I will admit at times they can be a bit pricey, but this is one of those times when you really do get what you pay for. bottom line is high quality parts and workmanship that is done right and stands the test of time.
