I stumbled upon Mister Plumber through my Home Warranty company. They were sent to my house to fix a plumbing stoppage that was taking a toll on all of my water sources. Joel, the technician, was knowledgeable and kind but was pulled off the job halfway through because the owner told him he had to move on. The job was left unfinished. The washing machine was leaking. The kitchen sink and dishwasher were unusable. Both kitchen appliances were working prior to the call. The owner, Dave, was condescending and quick to snap each time I spoke to him about trying to fix the remaining issues. Finally on our last call he called me ignorant and said I didn't know what I was talking about. He told me he couldn't talk with me about the issue anymore and hung up on me. Extremely poor customer service (and human decency). If I acted that way at work, I would have been fired. They left the job worse than how it started and Dave was a royal jerk in the process. I will never use them again.

Run far away! This company is a joke. Because they contract 99% with home warranty companies, and they could care less about quality of service and customer service. I have been waiting 2 weeks for a water heater replacement and they claim to not know who the supplier is. Meanwhile  I have had no hot water in my home. I have told American Home Shield not to send them out because I have had problems with them through other warranty companies, but they keep sending them anyway. I will not be renewing my contract with them for this very reason. How can  warranty company not see the low rating and negative reviews? I'm through! I'm done! Never again for both AHS and Mister Plumber!

If It were possible to give this company less than a star in order to post a review I would. Let the Consumer beware. Do not use this company. Everyone is unprofessional from the office staff to the field. This is another incident where this company was contracted by my home warranty company.  I called my warranty company because there's a problem with the toilet. It was obviously backing up. Man came out looked at the toilet then claimed he had to go outside to talk with the office.  He comes back in after talking to the office and tells me that this service is not covered by my home warranty, they don't cover a partial stoppage only a complete stoppage of the toilet.  So I am supposed to wait until the toilet floods my bathroom to request service??? Then he tells me that they can run an auger 6 feet for an additional $45. So my son, who is desperate to get the toilet unclogged because it's causing a terrible odor in the house, gives them another $45 cash. The guy turns off the water, brings the auger and tries to route out the toilet.  You know you're not gonna route out a toilet with 6 feet of line.
I got on the phone with the warranty company and they said that I was not to give the plumbing company anymore money. In the meantime the so-called plumber is telling my son that they will need another $80 to pick the toilet up and route it out with the router. That would make the total call, $225 just to route out a toilet WHICH THEY'VE TOLD MY WARRANTY COMPANY IS NOT CLOGGED!  Now if the toilet is not stopped up as they claimed,why would I be pay $225.00. to unstop it? I told my son not to pay the $80 because a stoppage IS covered by my warranty then my son tells me they left and didn't even turn the water back on. So they made $145 in about 15 minutes and didn't do anything including not giving my son a receipt for the $45 extra he paid! When I called back and explained that service man left without giving us a receipt and without even turning the water back on, the receptionist said that they were gone for the day and that I would hear from them tomorrow. I asked to speak with a manager and she claimed  the manager was gone. I asked the managers name and that's when she started saying hello hello I can't hear you you're breaking up. I called  back and she did the same thing. This is outrageous in the time of this pandemic that a company would conduct itself in this manner.  This review is completely true and I just wish the owner would get on this website and try to defend this horrible service. I guess that's why he has such terrible reviews and I will never again use any company without reading the Yelp reviews first!

Mister Plumber is the WORST! If I could give negative stars I would. They accepted my claim through my home warranty company. The pipe to my hot water heater had a leak. A technician came out on a Monday and looked at the problem and said he was waiting on authorization from the warranty company. Almost a week goes by and I call Mister Plumber to get the status of the work. They say they're still waiting for authorization. Week 2- I call again. Same thing. I call the warranty company and they say they are waiting on information from the technician. Finally, the technician provides his diagnosis and says the problem is due to a pest infestation!!! I call Mr. Plumber again to inquire why they listed pest infestation as the cause since there was no evidence of an infestation in my home. I am told they don't have any information about that. I send them the email from my home warranty showing that the claim has been denied because of what the technician wrote. No one would respond to me. I left several messages, emailed, nothing. Every time I called I was transferred to the office manager, Lauren something, who is always away from her desk or in a meeting! I finally had to get another plumber to come and provide a diagnosis and cause, which was not pest infestation but wear and tear due to the age of the plumbing and the water heater. They are nonresponsive and totally lack customer service. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

This is literally the worst company ever. They deserve no stars. Please please please don't ever use them. They will come out, assess the situation, give an opinion and say they have to leave but that Lauren from the office will call you. They will never call you. You will call and be given the run around. Lauren will lie to you on the phone. When you get frustrated, she will proclaim this is a family business (this is a horrible family if that's true). If you have a home warranty they will then tell your home warranty that the damage was done by a rodent and won't be covered. I wonder if they even have a master plumber because it seems they are incapable of making repairs. Please use anyone else. These are bad people.

questionable ethics regarding business practices.  They told my home warranty company that $1000 of the hot water heater was outside the scope of my contract. That is a complete lie as my home warranty company replaced a hot water heater at no charge except for my $75 deductible a few months ago.

NOW, Mister Plumber is MIA & will not respond to my request for details and explanation.  Maybe my attorney will have better luck reaching them

If I could leave no stars I would. Do not waste your time even trying to get in touch with these people. Absolute worst service we've ever received. First, they sure as hell will take their sweet time calling you back...then will take an entire week to put in a toilet...after you told them from the very beginning the toilet has to be replaced. They blamed it on our home warranty company but the truth is it was their fault...we had the home warranty info ready to go on Wednesday (10/3) less than 24 hours after the incident of the tank falling off...they did not even try to come until the following week...now we need the pipes flushed and guess who hasn't called back in FOUR DAYS? Do yourself a favor and run.
There are way too many GOOD, HONEST & TRUSTWORTHY plumbers around this area to use these people!

Whatever you do, DO NOT use this company! Took over a week to get an appointment. Then, get this, they cancelled it the morning they were supposed to be out here! I took off work specifically for this because they couldn't accommodate me any other time. Steer clear!

Do not use this company.  When your home warranty dispatches Mister Plumber immediately call them back and ask that they dispatch someone else.  The office staff, especially Brittany elevator doesn't leave the basement floor; not quite sure if the cables are connected.  They are so unprofessional.  What they reported to the home warranty company had nothing to do with what they were dispatch for and didn't bother to follow-up with the home warranty to inform them what the issue was that was actually covered.  And had the nerve to tell me they could do for $350 dollars.

Customer service is horrible, company was originally contracted through home warranty, upon non resolution through warranty I then contracted paid deposit that was requested. I literally did not hear back from them and after it was 2 weeks I attempted to get some sort of update. Whomever is the person answering their phones is completely rude and not customer service driven. I was promised to hear back the same day which I did not and when I called the next day the same lady placed with on hold while I was still talking. I would not recommend.

After seeing the Yelp reviews, I debated calling my home warranty company to switch companies; however, I was optimistic.  I received a call to schedule an appointment shortly after Mister Plumber opened.  They arrived on time and wore face masks (very important to me during this time of COVID-19).  The problem was quickly diagnosed and resolved.  They were friendly and professional.  I am happy I stayed optimistic!

Horrible Company!! If I could give this company ZERO stars, I would. Our home warranty sent this company out to replace a hot water heater. It took two weeks to get it replaced and when the technicians came out, they cracked the ceiling. It then took 6 weeks of them lying to us, telling us their handyman would fix it. They also tried to give us $150-200, when both estimates to fix were $650 to 700. They were hard to get in touch with as I would leave messages only to have nobody return my phone calls. They finally recognized our number and would answer, but it would automatically go to voicemail to leave a message. Every once in a while, someone would answer only to be told they were gonna fix it. The office manager, Lauren, is the owner's daughter. She will never let you know that though. She lies and makes up stories to act like they care.  Bottom line is the owner finally did call us, but only gave us $350. They should be out of business because there are so many bad reviews and the good ones come from Lauren and her assistant office manager Autumn. I would never do business with them again and stay clear if you need any plumbing issues. If your home warranty recommends them, DON'T USE THEM. I would never treat anyone the way I was treated. HIGHLY INCOMPETENT COMPANY!!!

I had a major problem with my hot water heater I got a hold of Mr Plumber and they had someone out there faster than I ever could expect. Kory installed my hot water heater he was very polite and did a thorough job I would definitely recommend Mr Plumber for all your plumbing needs.

These people.  If you aren't at their beckoning call, don't call them.  They showed up to the scheduled time frame late.  Demanded a $100.00 deductible and because they couldn't get my card right then and there, because I ran to the bathroom for the first time in hours waiting on them, they left!  ON TOP OF THAT THEY HAVE A HIGHLY INCOMPETENT PERSON DOING BASIC CLERICAL WORK!  No customer service what's so ever!  I was forced to use them because of my home warranty company!!!  Not to mention the fact that they are racist!!  Please be smart don't hire these people!

This so called  plumber and Anywhere Plumbing  both contract for American Home
Shield.  They are owned by two individuals with the last name of Robin.
These guys are con artist and will always find a way to deny warranty coverage.  They will then come up with an outrages price to take care of the problem.  In one call out they came out and said the pipe was broken
due to an upstairs toilet;  a toilet I had another plumber replace for $400 less
then they wanted to charge.  The pipe was an cast iron over 50 years old and
was cracked due to age.  They charged me $62.50 to cut a hole in the sheetrock and did not give me a diagnosis face to face.  They told AHS that the problem was a rocking toilet.  Originally wanted to charge $125.00; but since it only took about 5 minutes to cut the hole;  they gave me a break.
I requested a second opinion from AHS, and Ball Plumbing came out and verified that the pipe was old and fixed the problem.  Ball Plumbing was the only honest plumber working for AHS; however, I believe he has since stopped working jobs for AHS.  The Robins liars and cheats front office said
they were a Christian family business and would reimburse the $62.50 fee.
The check must have gotten loss in the mail.  hahaha.  AHS could care less that I was scammed.  These companies find a way to deny coverage by reporting false info to AHS.  If AHS was to send Anywhere Plumbing or Mr. Plumber;  refuse.  AHS claims they have to send the next one on their list. Not true.  I have since cancelled AHS on two properties due to so called plumbing companies operated by the  liars Robins.

I could not be more pleased with this company.  They came out to fix my toilet which was moving. Because it was not leaking or having a problem with functioning properly, the technician tightened it, showed us how to remove the grout which had been placed there by an idiot of a plumber that had come out previously, and did not even charge us for coming out. They did it as a courtesy.  I would highly recommend them and would ask for Patrick if I need a plumber.

This company is a FRAUD and I hope that everyone considering to use this company will read all reviews and also check the BBB before giving them one red cent.

This company was extremely unprofessional to me on the phone.  The company knew that they would be unable to fix the issue and still took my money as well as the money from my insurance company to come out and fix my issue. They never called back for the follow up appointment as promised once the funds were received.

They lack knowledge, professionalism, tact and education when handling my plumbing issues.  Lauren R. (Office Manager) and Autumn (Office Assistant) was unprofessional and very condescending.  Lauren stated that Mister Plumber would get their money regardless which meant from myself and the insurance company.

The only positive review on here is the review from the Office Manager with the same last initials as the owner.  How convenient right!

Worthless.

Made no attempt to repair the two main issues I was having, but made plenty of excuses as to why he couldn't or wouldn't. Clearly his goal was to get in and out as quickly as possible and to do as little as possible. I guess that's how they make their money. They were assigned to my job by my home warranty company, American Home Shield, and it has become apparent that their business model is based on poor service.

The cold water in my bathtub flows at about half the pressure of the hot water even though every other faucet in the house the cold water runs fine. He said this was probably because New Orleans water is bad and there was probably some blockage somewhere in the line but if he cleared it out it would just block right up again. What? That makes no sense. If there's blockage, then fix it! I'm thinking that the valve stem probably needs to be replaced, but when I mentioned this to him he balked and got defensive and mocking in tone and was unwilling to even look to see if that could be the issue. In the end, he did absolutely nothing. My cold water still has low flow in the bathtub. Thanks for nothing!

The 2nd issue: The stopper in my bathroom sink is not functional. The part at the top that makes the stopper plunge up and down doesn't move anymore due to corrosion. I asked him to get it working and maybe replace it with a functional fixture and he said that it isn't a plumbing issue. Are you serious? Is this backwards day? His genius solution was just to pull the stopper out. Thank goodness I got a professional out.

The only other thing he actually did was pull a little bit of hairy gunk out of the sink. Was that hairball worth my $100? No, it was not. On the paperwork he wrote that he pulled out the hairball as a courtesy. It's not a courtesy, it's your job! I still have the same plumbing issues as before he came and I'm now short $100. That was an expensive hairball.

And on top of all of this, this wasn't even the first time a guy from Mr Plumber came out about these issues. Another guy came out a few weeks prior and didn't address any of my main issues then rushed out to another job. I then had to sit on the phone for an hour waiting to try to talk to someone in India for American Home Shield to get Mr plumber back out. Clearly poor customer service is an integral part of their business model. The home warranty company makes it nearly impossible to actually get anything repaired so that in the end they make money, Mr plumber makes money, and I lose money and am left with the same plumbing problems I started with.

Absolutely useless! They tried to replace my faucet w something that didn't match my kitchen and after I paid then the $100 I couldn't get anyone to even call me back to give me options to replace my kitchen faucet! Do not use this company!! I wish I had read the reviews prior!! I wish I could give zero stars but after reading the reviews I can see they obviously don't care about their reputation

They came out promptly on a weekend for an emergency and stopped my leak so I could use my water again. Just have to get them back out to finish the job
