Marcos went above and beyond. He replaced all our outdoor spigots that were damaged in the freezes earlier this year, he fixed our kitchen sink in quick order, he even took apart and rebuilt new bathroom faucets for us when the replacements no longer came in the correct size. Friendly, fast, affordable - we'll use Marcos and El Dorado over and over for all our plumbing needs. Like an honest mechanic or a doctor who knows how to listen, an honest affordable plumber is a necessity today -- and we've found ours.

Called Matt the plumber mid day on a Friday. Shocked by the fact they had someone available shortly. 30 mins later there lead tech called me telling me he's in route and will there 30 min to an hour was here in 25 min. Even stressed about the sewage flowing out of the toilet he arrived calm with a smile. Started to explain with great detail what needed to be done to solve the issue. He said lucky I had a clean out even though who ever installed it sealed it so it didn't create the relief to prevent the sewage inside. But he removed the cap and the water shot up and keep coming. He then offer a company to clean and restore my home they also arrived quickly. All of this cause by tree roots as he explain and showed with the camera. Now the pipe has been replaced and restoration in progress now. I'm alot happier with the outcome of course wish it never happened but glad I called a knowledgeable company to handle the issue at had. Great, fast, and reasonable priced service. Came out on a holiday and fixed our kitchen sink, stop the flooding of our front bathroom sink and put in a vanity in our back bathroom. Awesome guy, cleaned up after himself and everything! Highly recommend and will use again in the future!

On time, called ahead before coming which I like. Very professional and explain what they do. Would recommend them.

i was blown off by 3 other plumbers (roto router, snappy, & reliable) called kwaku. he showed up in the dark in a downpour on a saturday night. assessed the situation and handled it.
very personable. knew what he was doing.
the fee was about what i expected in the situation.
found my new plumber.

Appointment date came, I called the morning of to confirm they were still coming in the afternoon, and was informed the tech would arrive closer to 5pm (block of time given to me was 3-5pm) due to another job. I called at 5:15pm to check on status and was told the tech would call me to let me know around what time they'd arrive. How inconsiderate to call me at 7:30pm! Horrible customer service. If something so simple as calling a customer to let them know the status, I can only imagine how they handle larger issues. I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I wasn't forced to.

I have an issue with a toilet that is phantom flushing and running up my water bill.  I hired J.R. Plumbing to come and repair it.  My appointment was for 12/13/2021, but the plumber ran into vehicle issues and had to put it off until the next day.  He came out on 12/14/2021 and replaced parts in the tank to repair it.  I paid him and he left.  Shortly after he left I discovered that not only was my toilet still phantom flushing, but that it was doing it 3 times more frequently than it was before he worked on it.  I contacted him and he said that he would order a part that would overnight to him, and then he would be back out.  I waited and didn't hear back, so I contacted him on Thursday and he said the part would be in by the next day...Friday.  I texted him to see when he would be coming out and waited and didn't hear anything from him or the company on Friday, so I texted him again about it on Saturday.  He said that the company was supposed to reach out to me on Friday and that he didn't work on weekends.  I texted back that I wasn't asking him to work on weekends, but I did expect responses to my texts.  It is now Monday, 12/20/2021 and I reached out to the company today....but still haven't received any responses from either the plumber or the company yet today and it is 2:14pm now.  I texted that if they didn't schedule with me today, then I want a refund.  They haven't responded yet.

UPDATE: 12/20/2021:

Right after I posted the first review I received a call from the plumber John saying that he would come out next.  He did come by within 30 minutes and fully repaired my toilet.  It has been about 4 hours and I haven't noticed any other issues.  So I will upgrade my review for the work being very good the second time, but cannot go too high due to the lack of communication from the company and slow initial responses.  The plumber John always responded to my texts except for one, but the company did not.

Talk about good service is one thing but add to it an education about a new to me system was an unexpected and appreciated side benefit.  The tech was all about checking the system as requested but went further to communicate things an owner would not necessarily have known.  That's HELPFUL service and with a smile no less!

I contacted Vernard last night and he was able to come out for an emergency call. He quickly diagnosed the situation which was somewhat complex.  He arrived at the house earlier than promised this morning and finished quickly. The job was performed professionally even to scrubbing the plastic flooring in the basement. If I should have another plumbing job Vernard will be my plumber.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. There is promise of doing a comprehensive pool leak detection. However our experience comprised of a gentleman in swim trunks using a fanta  20 oz soda bottle filled with red dye and just pouring it around potential cracks. He didn't wear scuba gear, didn't take the lights out (which is a must). He said the lights were leaking and was confident. So we fixed the lights just to have someone tell us the lights will always show a leak if they are not taken out prior to testing. We spent over 500 dollars filling our pool for him, paid him 350, fixed the lights for over 200 based on his recommendation. He never pressure tested the pipes or even got under the water. He said he would come back if it was not the lights due to light rain, which the management of the company said it wrong because many tests can be done with rain. This was an utter waste of time and money. Now we are stuck with a leaking pool still and have to refill (spending another 500) and hiring another (hopefully more competent) company. I even went to management who agreed this was unacceptable and said he would take care of the situation. I NEVER HEARD BACK. This company will drain you of money and not even care. STAY AWAY! Unless you want to waste, time, money, energy, and frustration. This company only responded to me when I said I would put up a review of my experience and still never remedied the situation. The other review mysteriously appeared after I said I would write a review.

Very disappointing! They repaired a broke water pipe 10/13/2013 that was leaking into our basement. The pipe started leaking again on 1/12/2015 so he came back out located the pipe and the leak was in the exact same place where they repaired it. Bottom line when he saw that he walked off the job and told me I need to get somebody else to fix it.
