Friday afternoon. Gave them access to the cleanout from the plumbing in our home(under floor of closet) cleared everything out of the way. They left a MESS. Super unprofessional. Didnt tell me about the mess even. They just left.

We just moved into our new home and needed someone to install an auto gas shutoff for earthquake safety and fix a faucet with low water pressure. Abraham responded immediately, gave me a fair quote, and showed up the same day! They were in and out quickly, very professional, and flexible with payment options. We won't hesitate to call them again!

VanGo is the recommended plumber for our condo building for good reasons. Rich was on time, wore a mask and booties and was quick on figuring out what the issues were in the bathroom and washer. He completed the repair and my tenant was pleased. I recommended VanGo to my cousin who had a sewer problem and she was very satisfied with the service.

Tsering arrived right on time and set right to work fixing my toilet (Feb. 5). Although my old toilet was a real challenge and posed several problems (some odd, backward set-up, cramped space, rusted fixtures), he never lost his patience nor his smile. I'm a renter, but I hired Tsering and my landlord thanked me you finding such a good, honest, friendly plumber. His fee was really much lower than expected...really a surprise how little he charged! I don't know how he even made any money off the job.
Anyway, I read all the excellent reviews here before I called Everest. I thought perhaps the reviews were too good to be true and maybe the guy has a big family and a lot of friends. But, I gave him a try and now I see why he receives such praise. I'd give him 6 stars if I could! Tsering is very knowledgeable and efficient and just a great guy. I'm recommending him to anyone who needs a good plumber and doesn't want to get ripped off!

Very professional. Did a great job installing a new net on our trampoline (which basically required him to fully disassemble and reassemble!).

Vincent got me out of a very stressful situation, going above and beyond to complete my Sidewalk Compliance Certificate just before the deadline. Oakland's new Sidewalk Ordinance requires brand new homeowners to navigate a difficult to understand process in a limited amount of time. No amount of reading through the posted information made the process more clear to me, except that it required the homeowner to pay a professional to go downtown to the permit office on their behalf, even if there was no work to be done or the repair work could be done on your own.
At a time when our budget was most stretched by just having bought a home, I couldn't believe the high quotes I was getting from contractors to do what seemed like a simple job. Vince swooped to my rescue, dropping off our completed paperwork free of charge, and making us feel taken care of. This kind of humanity is what we need so much more of in the world, and we are truly grateful. Having read his other reviews, I am sure we will gladly pay Vincent for any future work we may need.

If you are looking for an honest, knowledgeable, hard working, fairly priced plumber, Vladimir is your guy! I had a slab leak in my garage last summer, and he came to my rescue immediately and found the leak in less than 15 minutes. He gave me a very fair estimate for repairs, but my brother has quite a bit of plumbing knowledge and thought he would try to fix the problem. Vladimir stayed and talked to my brother for over a 40 minutes to make sure he did not forget any of the small steps it would take to fix the problem!! Amazing!! They don't make them like that anymore ;o)
I have recommended Vladimir to friends, and everyone has been extremely happy with him. Wish I could give him more than 5 stars!!

I couldn't ask for a more competent plumbing service than Service Star Plumbing by Ben. Scheduling was easy and timely. Ben provided a detailed and fair estimate and I am very happy with the end result. This time it was for replacing a kitchen faucet and two bathroom faucets. Ben had previously installed a new water heater, replaced a garage disposal, and added a new drain line in the garage for a washer. Top notch quality and service!

The situation: our bathroom at the office. The scenario: the faucet was broken inadvertently by our housekeeper. After having one of our guys--NOT plumbers clearly--look at it the search began for an elusive part. Dozens of plumbers & plumbing supply companies later and still no part. Months pass and we are washing our hands not in the bathroom but in a nearby sink. It isn't pretty.
One day I pass Lunt Marymor on the way into work. I call them. The lovely woman who answers asks me to describe the faucet, then asks me to send a pic from my phone. She IDs ithe faucet from the pic!! How cool is that??? Some German faucet company. Anyhoo, she gives me a quote--and sadly, I know my boss is not going to go for it. But then she calls ME back to say there is a less expensive yet similar style faucet she knows of, half the price. Long story short: we are washing our hands in our bathroom like civilized people now and Lunt Marymor is the reason why.
Thank you thank you thank you!

I honestly do not know anything about plumbing and this was even more apparent when Dennis came over and replaced the flow valve system in my toilet in approximately 15 minutes. It cost about $150, which was about $50 more than I wanted to spend, but he came, he saw, and he fixed. Anyway, he locked down the toilet bowl itself which was wobbly to begin with free of charge. So, all in all, there isn't really anything to complain about.

Last Friday, we noticed our house getting cold and by the evening, it was really cold. We have radiant heat and I went out and felt the boiler and it was stone cold. Early the next morning (Saturday), I called a few boiler specialists including Innovative Radiant Heating. The owner, Ramnar Montoya, called me back quickly and scheduled time to look at our problem the same day. He confirmed what I suspected, our almost 40 year old boiler was dead (bad heat exchanger). I received a few bids that day but the bid from Ramnar was the only one that included all the details of the job (flushing the system, installing pumps and pressure regulater, etc). I liked that detail because I didn't have to wonder whether all the work we discussed was going to be included. Ramnar answered my many questions throughly and the more time I spent talking to him, the better feeling I got. His bid was very competitive and he didn't try to sell me things I didn't need; actually quite the opposite. At one point, I was interested in a more expensive boiler and he gently suggested it would be a waste of money. I ended up taking his advice. After reviewing a couple of more bids and many more questions to Ramnar, I hired his firm to install the new boiler. I asked him if he could stop in during the installation. He responded saying he would be doing the installation. I liked that. He was able to schedule the work quickly and arrived at our house exactly when he said he would. Ramnar did thorough, excellent, work and did everything he said he would. He was absolutely great to work with and very pleasant to have at our house. My utility closet and new boiler look great and our house is now warm and comfortable again. I am very happy to write this review. With our next plumbing catastrophe, I will not hesitate to call Ramnar and Innovative Radiant Heating again. Thank you Ramnar!

John was terrific. He came to install two barroom faucets and was timely in his arrival and completed his work within the time he had estimated.
There was an unknown complication with the existing plumbing which he fixed for us at no charge. He is a likeable dude.

Andres provided me with an estimate over the phone for my clogged sewer line. He efficiently and effectively cleared the clog. He also made some suggestions on preventative maintenance and what I could do myself to save some money. I would hire Andres again.

We hired Handyman Heroes for a facelift for our home. They did a great job! Larry, the owner, is very kind, professional, and customer focused. Carlos and Roberto painted the house, our gate, and put wood slats around the windows and garage. We were so pleased with the outcome and the pricing was very competitive. They worked efficiently, cared about the job they did and were great guys. I would highly recommend Larry and his team!

These guys are amazing! Called and spoke to Ruben on the phone just after lunch, and had a member of his team, Alex, at the house later on in the afternoon. He was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. Replaced the troubled section of the gas line servicing my water heater within an hour and now good to go! Thanks for the quick help in a pinch, and will definitely recommend Ocelot.

BEWARE! We wanted to love these guys...their truck is always in our neighborhood...we had a leaky faucet in the bathtub, they fixed it but said that if the leak happened again, they would need to do a big job entailing opening up a wall and thousands of $s..eek! Needless to say, the leak reoccurred... we had them come back out and give us the quote for just the plumbing as we would arrange to open the walls ourselves... they requoted for just the plumbing.. again thousands of $... we had someone else come in to look at the job and they showed us the gaskets in the faucets...ONE had been had been replaced when they had fixed it and the other was utterly deteriorated.. and thus, of course, did fail as they predicted... and the fix was simply a new gasket..This is a long story short and I very rarely post reviews but felt I should...Nahman plumbing and heating is NOT to be trusted!

No one ever wants to hear that there's a blockage in their sewer line. When the guy who cleans our drains told us the news, our hearts sank. We called Pipe Spy at his recommendation, and they came out the very next day.
Turns out that the blockage was an orange plastic cone - the kind that you use to block traffic or something. Our new next door neighbors had built a staircase in the rear of their property, and somehow during the construction the cone was inserted into our sewer line. We were able to prove this by showing them the DVD that Pipe Spy provided us.

PLUMMET! We really liked this company at first. But they messed up on each of the last three projects. Everyone makes mistakes, but the deal breaker was that Joey wouldn't admit to errors. First, an assistant named Jordan installed two shower cartridges backwards, leading to a major flood on our hardwood floor. (Joey claimed a hair clog in the pipes was the culprit, but why'd it happen the day after the shower repair?) Next, Jordan broke our water-heater door while installing a new water heater. (Joey initially lied and said the door closed fine when they left, which was clearly impossible. Then, he blamed it on the door being crappy.) I should have stopped there, but I decided to give Joey one more try, since my initial impression had been so positive. I let him install the water-pump system he and I had been planning for months. I insisted that he do the job himself, rather than letting his obviously incompetent (and dishonest?) assistant come and break more stuff. Everything was going fine, until Joey found and fixed a leak in one of the water lines going into our kitchen sink. So far, so good. But when he finished the job, the water pressure in the faucet was about one-third of normal. Joey said he couldn't fix it because the faucet was - you guessed it - too crappy. (It's only three years old.) Now, I am having to hire a new plumber and pay hundreds of additional dollars. Even if everything in our house is a piece of crap, as Joey claims, a licensed professional should still stand behind their work and own up to their mistakes without getting defensive. Bottom line, if it's a straightforward job and everything goes perfectly according to plan, you might be okay going with Honrath & Stacey. But woe until you if anything goes wrong: It'll be your fault for having a crappy home.
