We had a pipe spring a leak over the weekend in the hot water line to our kitchen.  Carlos was able to come first thing Monday morning, go get the needed parts and returned and repaired the plumbing, all within an hour.  We will absolutely call SoCal Plumbing again.

Brent Blake is great! Super nice guy! Very professional and trustworthy! I have called other plumbing companies and have not been happy with them as they overcharge or try to sell you things you don't need. Brent has my full confidence and I highly recommend him!! You will not be disappointed!

today is Thanksgiving and emergency call, I know it cost a little more.
he quoted me 265.00 for snake out kitchen drain on Thanksgiving, I said ok and I will add another 100.00 on top, he was surprise but that what I want him to do. he did it fast and within 1 hour. I am happy with the service, for holiday time. I am a plumber myself, and I am in Las Vegas area. Trying to help our family friend in Mission Viejo it was a challenge.
I got Prostar, C@C , etc.. either they don't service on holiday but advertise they are, and get this they want to charge me 1400.00 for the same service on Thanksgiving. I am glad that Justin there to help me, and I will call him again if our family friend need service again.

I called C&C plumbing but they overcharged me and cheated me.  I will never call them again.  Cameron didn't come but he sent this man who talked too much and did little.  Please do not call them if you want to get cheated.

Bryan is fantastic!  Today was the second time he has been at our house.  He has jetted drains inside and outside our house.  Totally professional, good value and left our house spotless.  We will call him again next time.

Our downstairs bathroom started to get mold on the ceiling. To make a long story short, the upstairs bathroom shower pan was leaking.

After the mold remediation team had finished and seemed to narrow down the problem to either a drain issue or shower pan issue for the upstairs bathroom, my wife and I contacted approximately 10 general contractors and shower installation companies using various sources (including Yelp, Google Reviews, word of mouth recommendations, internet searches, etc) to provide their recommendations/proposals for our shower and bathroom.

During the processing of obtaining contractor quotes, we were not comfortable with most of the contractors for various reasons including high sales pitch tactics, lack of detailed explanation relating to waterproofing techniques that will be used during construction, extremely high prices, etc. We eventually narrowed down the list of contractors to two (including Ixtapa). However, after further comparison of both companies, we ended up choosing Ixtapa partially due to their quote being more inclusive of everything we wanted done (drywall repair, painting, among other items), their flexibility in recommendations that considered our budget, and most importantly, Ixtapa's clear explanation of their waterproofing techniques in which the utmost care would be taken during their multilayered waterproofing method to minimize any chances of the new tile shower leaking in the future. Other companies were vague in mentioning only hot mopping as an explanation. We just felt Ixtapa was the complete package when considering fair price, knowledge, customer reviews showing high quality craftsmanship, communication, etc. Alex was a very good communicator and listener when we shared our concerns/ideas. Alex was excellent at balancing our concerns/ideas with his expert advice/recommendations (this skill set Ixtapa apart from the rest of the other construction companies we talked to).

Jay, Alex's business partner, is the construction guru. Jay is very personable and has high expectations of quality that meet not only his high expectations, but also the customer's. Although Ixtapa has some workers in addition to Jay, Jay does the detailed design, measurements, and most of the detailed construction.

I liked how Alex made clear what materials Ixtapa provides (rough materials, etc) and explains in detail what materials the customer provides (tile, fixtures, etc). Alex even provided us a shopping list of items to purchase, quantities of each item, etc. This made it easier for us. When it came to choosing a new vanity, Alex recommended a few places for us to look at vanity options. We settled on a place and we were able to purchase the vanity with Ixtapa's contractor's discount to save some money. When I was stressed about some issues with vanity options while my wife was out of town on business, Alex took time out of his busy schedule to meet me at the store to help me through my struggles. With the assistance of my wife by phone, and Alex's help, we were able to make a decision that worked out very well (thank you Alex!).

Ixtapa showed flexibility when we requested changes to the scope of work related to the niche, additional recessed lights, installing the additional exhaust fans in our other bathrooms, among some other changes. Ixtapa was able to provide a custom glass shower per our requested specifications of partially obscured (middle 50% obscured, the top 25% and bottom 25% clear glass).

Jay and his crew did excellent work. As other reviewers have stated, Jay is a master craftsman. Jay and his Ixtapa crew handled everything from the demo, plumbing (installation of new shower drain with weep holes, etc), electrical (exhaust fan, led lights, gfci, etc), shower framing, multilayered waterproofing of shower, tile installation/grouting (shower, bathroom floor), installation of vanity & recessed medicine cabinet/mirror, installation of fixtures, drywall/trim/texture/paint, etc. The only items/services subcontracted out by Ixtapa to different companies were the hot mopping of shower pan and the manufacturing/installation of the custom glass shower door.

A couple of small/minor issues after completion of the bathroom project were taken care of by Ixtapa. The end result is fabulous!

We very much look forward to working with Ixtapa in the future with another project or potentially more than one project.

Great! Great! Person to ask for help. I got a clogged kitchen sink due to very old piping that a bigger company wasn't able to help. Chris came and got it fixed. I'm not someone who is knowledgeable about all the plumbing tools but I know for sure Chris has all the tools needed for the job. In fact, he brought more useful tools than the bigger company I asked for help in the first place. Chris gave me a quote before the job is done and he asked for the exact amount after the job is completed even though the job took several hours. He made sure to clean up the mess after the job. He's a pretty funny guy to talk to too. Highly recommended.

Daniel is one of a kind, i was told whenever you find a great, honest plumber to always keep that number saved in your phone. Thankfully I added his number into my phone years ago. As an owner of a local sushi restaurant located in the city of fullerton,  a great is plumber is always needed at times. He always goes Above the call of duty and is always able figure out what the cause of the problem is. Thank you daniel for all your hard work! I commend you on your great service and professionalism. I called ProStar after another plumber promised to come and never showed up. I called them and they had a representative out within an hour. My master bathroom sink was plugged. Charlie the rep that came out was great. He did awesome and when he was done he also cleaned up very well. I would highly recommend them and will be saving their info for my future plumbing needs..

We bought a real fixer in Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley and have had numerous plumbing issues like, slab leaks, re-pipes, drain clogs, etc.  We've gone through a couple of different plumbers...until we met Greg.  He showed up when he said he would and gave us thorough and detailed estimates.  His prices were a tad higher than some...but the saying you get what you pay for never has proved more true.  His work is impeccable.  He fixed a slab leak, as well as did some re-piping of a bathroom for us.  As I said...we paid a bit more (not much), but his attention to detail and the quality of his work is so much better than anyone we've experienced.  As someone who is a freak for details, I look at every little drop of solder and every joint with suspicion.  Greg's work is as good as it gets.  I will not use any other plumber as long as Greg is in business.  I am calling him in the coming days to replace a blown out shower p-trap and re-pipe my new shower.   Don't even mess around with anyone else...trust me.

Eric helped us out on a Sunday with a fully clog shower floor drain. It is way trickier than it looks at the first glance, but Eric is able to help clean it completely. Really like the way how Eric explains everything, try all approaches to help get the problem solved. Cannot be happier about the final outcome.

My garbage disposal went out.  I called at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon and in spite of being so busy they responded, came out right away and fixed my problem.  
The guy that came out was so nice and made sure I knew how to fix the problem if it happens again.

I'm glad to have found Felix and his team. After coming across a non-licensed company who over charged me for hydro jetting my main line, I was skeptical of everyone I was meeting to replace my main sewer line. I decided to go with Carter Sanitation, who provided me with the time to ask questions, depth details of what the process would consist of, payment options and best price quote with city permits. I will definitely call Felix again and recommend anyone to their team who is looking to replace their sewer line!

I got these prices from a recent invoice for two separate services to my parents' house.  They initially called Rooter Hero a couple of weeks ago to snake a clogged toilet.  When this became re-clogged last week, they called them again assuming they'd honor their work and fix things free of charge.  I believe they did the rooting again, but ultimately came back with a strong suggestion to replace the toilet and do a hydrojet.  As far as I know, they did not need a new toilet but my dad okay'd it on their recommendation, along with the hydrojet/camera inspection.  After they did this and came back with the very expensive pipe reline recommendation, I was able to intervene and tell my dad that he should at least get a second opinion-- always get a second opinion.

Now maybe I'm not in tune with the times but all of these prices are exorbitant to me.  At one point I managed a property and had to deal with plumbers and such and I've never even heard of this kind of price gouging.  $650 for a toliet?  $1850 for a jetter?  These things should each be around $300.  I'm all for paying people for their work, and I know plumbing isn't an easy job, but at some point these companies are just taking advantage of people who don't know any better.

For all I know, their cast-iron piping is in fact bad and needs servicing.. but how can you trust this company when they charge $1850 (after discount!) for a hydrojet?  I don't like to leave bad reviews but this feels less like plumbing and more like a big sales scam.  

On a positive note, the techs (George and Corey) were communicative, but hell at those likely large commissions, I would be too.
