Woke up to one of the worst nightmares of every homeowner: water dripping from the ceiling of our downstairs (and on a weekend, too). Theo responded amazingly quickly and helped discover the source of the leak, which was a cracked drain pipe. He removed enough ceiling material to prevent the leak from spreading any farther out (just straight down into a bucket) until he could replace the cracked section of pipe. He also discovered a horrendous calcified partial clog that had been in the pipe for a long tine, and thoroughly snaked it clear before finishing repairs. Throughout the process he endured all kinds of nasty fallout from the drain pipe.

I will keep Theo and Courtesy Flush's number on speed-dial for any future plumbing needs. Their response time, fair pricing, and friendliness are what every homeowner hopes to find in a plumbing service.

I lost heat in my house while I was outside at Christmas. I called Craig out of the phone book and he made time that very day to go to my house and secure the property from further damage. His estimate was received within the week and very reasonable considering the extensive repairs needed. He completed the work on time and without hassles. I have no problem recommending his service.

I have called this company and I always get my answers I need.

One visit was Saturday night 12 midnight and Mike was leaving Sunday morning for East coast. He fixed it all.

I work for a management company here in Anchorage and use Intelligent Design often for emergency calls and work orders. Jake is always super willing, professional, and quick when dealing with 3am emergency calls. During the day, the staff is just as amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend Intelligent Design for all your heating and plumbing needs.

Scene: Anchorage, at a condo building, a few days prior. Tessa notices that the garage is colder than usual. The hallways are a little chillier. Things seem colder, even with the heat turned up; the heat never goes above 68. Tessa erroneously suspects hairy husband is turning the thermostat down while she's not looking.

Today, a Sunday, 1:30pm. Outdoor temperatures are below zero. Tessa, plagued with Raynaud phenomenon is beginning to experience numb hands and nose. Tessa's husband is complaining about how cold it is, even though she turned up the heat. The thermostat struggles to reach 65, then drops to 64 and stays there. The cats are cuddling underneath the bed blankets to stay warm.

Dramatic music interlude.

Condo association emergency line was called and they advised that they weren't sure how busy the heating/plumbing company may be. But, within an hour, a friendly employee from H & M calls to confirm location. 5:15pm, a knock on the door. The aforementioned employee, now known as the Almighty Heating God was there bearing great news that the heat should be up. He explained what had happened (both boilers failed, for two difference reasons) but now was fixed. A glance at the thermostat reads 66. Victory! The temperature is climbing! The Great God departs, and Tessa's feet are shoved under the baseboard, feeling the glorious warmth.

Joyful music interlude and consumption of merlot was had. Cats rejoiced and no longer had to resign themselves to forced friendliness to the humans for their warmth and could be snarky, solitary jerkwads on their own.

End scene.

This review is for the plumbing sales department.  I always buy plumbing parts from Central, no matter how much more they might cost than at a big box store (although I don't actually know what if any price differences there are), because the sales staff are so helpful and knowledgeable.  (I'm a complete layperson, and non-handy, when it comes to home repairs.)

Very unhappy with my service. The two men that shodidn't have the parts to fix my water heater and left trash behind for me to clean up. I'm not happy that I paid $178 for a visit and diagnostic for parts they do not and may not have. I definitely feel robbed. Poor buisness.

07Jan **Was told they'd be in touch, I've been with hot water since 15Dec19. They informed me they'd call and let me know how much it's cost to order the parts and then repair it and still nothing. Called a few times, no response. Someone finally answered and said parts department is busy and I'd get a call back. That was two days ago, called again, no answer.

This buisness is awful.

Very fast response time, clean and professional. Excellent service, they resolved the issue quickly and was very fairly priced.  Would definitely use them again!

STAY AWAY!!! Do not call them. They originally installed a water heater and boiler in 2010, our water heater went out 2017 which still had a warranty. they came in to install the new water heater, which took ALL day over 9 hours!! and tried to charge us $1500 for the service. after some complaints explaining that they did not express that to us, they dropped the rate. while they were there all day they were soldering and fixing pipes, which they did not clean up at all, even depleting the pipes which was all over my floor! After a week, we noticed no heat in the upstairs, called them again, conveniently it was a part that needed fixing, which cost us another $200, this place is a JOKE!!!
