I scheduled an appointment to have a tech look at a shed furnace to see if it was operational. 12/20/22. Tech came out and thought that he could have it fixed later that day for a couple hundred dollars. Parts were unavailable so said that he would contact me the next week. Nothing. I left several messages to learn they were still looking. Again, weeks passed with several unreturned calls. Received a bill for $200. Then the $5 part was located. More time passed with more unreturned calls. Then the tech fixed it. Another $200. Within days, I could smell gas. Zero concern from Bob Stith employees when contacted. When call was finally returned, tech said he would be out on Friday afternoon 1/27/23 to check it. No show. Showed up on Saturday morning to say Not sure why and now the fixed furnace won't stay lit. Another $200 bill shows up. More messages left unreturned. On 2/2/23 tech calls and says the new repair will be $300 in parts plus another $400 in labor. have I also left two messages over the past two days to have the owner/manager call me. Nothing. I made it VERY clear up front that the furnace was old and that I didn't want to sink a lot of money into it. So now I'm left with a $400 bill, a pipe LEAKING GAS that wasn't before, 10+ unreturned calls, and 6+ weeks of lost time for my business. This is one of the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL businesses I have EVER dealt with!!!
